…
There are dozens of the Downfall of Hitler parodies, but this one stands above. (Click on the square above to see it).
Thank you jlakey1! You made me laugh.
His theme of just how successful the big fake scam was, how close it came to success, and how completely the media prostrated themselves to be the doormats for big bankers and bureaucrats to walk on: “the public were begging for one world government” is so well described, so incisively done… I won’t do a plot spoiler. It’s only 3:54 minutes. Enjoy 🙂
I love all these Hitler parodies. But you’re right, this is amongst the best.
10
It’s far from over. Despite your efforts there is far too much money at stake. We need to start hitting these people in their pockets — malfeasnance is the only thing that will bring this to an end. Unless the people behind this are brought to account nothing is going to change.
10
Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!
In this day and age, there are no valid excuses for not seeing the AGW hypothesis scam as it is.
Now that we have this parody making fun of the environmentalist effort to hijack science for political ends and at the same time make themselves feel good being the planetary do gooders.
It is plain that sober climate science research is beaten down for the sake of ideology.
10
Brilliant and very very funny.
10
Yup – best Hitler parody yet 🙂
10
I dont think this is over until someone is taken to court and sued over this great fraud.
Wouldnt you love to see Penny Wrong or Rudd in court trying to back up their claims? That would bring the MSM into the picture.
10
Jo,
That is one of the funniest parodies I have ever seen in my life. Maybe someone can do a video of John F. Kennedy’s speech at the Berlin wall. Kennedy’s voice could be dubbed where he was rallying the skeptics against the evil global warming empire.
10
“Your job is safe Gerta. You’re in the Federal government employee’s Union.”
Nice touch.
10
Great timing!
The noDebateGate is now wide open!

[…] Hitler and AGW (comedy), […]
10
Once he (almost) ruled the world. Now he’s just an endlessly recycled figure of fun.
Seems fair.
10
Great video, It touched on what I wrote in an earlier story;
“No one will ever convince me that the environmental movement wants action to save lives, if they were that way inclined, they wouldn’t have let millions, mostly children die from their DDT bans in countries where people were dying en masse, I judge their sympathies by the body count of children.
Climate change paranoia resembles the DDT ban. It seems to be the same players, the usual suspects, the same U.N. Environmental Protection with the same legally binding International controls ratified by member Nations, the same promises, the same fear propaganda, the same one eyed view of science with false claims exposed too late, the same feigned pity from people filling their pockets from human misery, the same Greenies taking credit for saving humanity as they watch millions die from their evil and twisted ideology that prefers to see Chinese, Indians and other developing nations remain bonded to abject poverty because they want to save the planet, the same lethal consequences.”
10
Albert
the same Greenies taking credit for saving humanity as they watch millions die from their evil and twisted ideology that prefers to see Chinese, Indians and other developing nations remain bonded to abject poverty
I’ve never forgotten an interview I heard with VS Naipaul, in which he blasted the Indian notion – fostered in large part by Gandhi – of ‘romantic poverty’. He related the tale of a visit to a remote village which had just received its first water pump IIRC, and some idiot government official was fretting over the end of their ‘traditional way of life.’
10
Best.. parody.. ever.. thanks!
10
Awesome!
10
Prior to her now infamous speech about eroding beaches, Penny (Calamity) Wong was summonsed by Kevin Rudd to explain why she failed the infallible. It was a heated exchange where Rudd chastised the climate change minister and demanded she lift her game.
I can now reveal what Rudd said to treasurer Wayne Swan immediately after Wong left his office in tears

The greens are getting desperate.
http://www.smh.com.au/environment/greens-take-on-sceptics-20100220-omrw.html
However, to me it reinforces the fact that despite the recent developments, we must not be complacent.
Hopefully, when the Australian parliament resumes, Tony Abbot (Opposition Leader) will start giving the Rudd govt a hard time. Hopefully we’ll see the resignation/sacking of Peter Garret, the Environment Minister responsible for the home insulation scheme, which has resulted in four deaths, the electrification of thousands of ceilings and waste of billions of tax payers money. This scheme has now been stopped and replaced with a rebate – however the Greens aren’t happy with it.
This should provide plenty of ammunition and help maintain the momentum.

Quotes from the SMH (and The Age) article:
I couldn’t agree more, and that is why the blogosphere, having its fair share of Climate Realists, is assisting in disseminating the truth about the scams and frauds as they are uncovered in the “official documentation” you help write.
You see, Mr Norman, we are fed up with the systemic disinformation that you and your ilk have been propagating. Think of a phrase that conjoins the words Cat, Kettle, and Black.
And, Mr Norman, we have been doing all this out of our own pockets because we are fed up with the constant bleating of the Catastrophic Global Warming cultists wanting to ruin our economy by imposing taxes that take from the poor in rich countries to give to the rich in poor countries.
I think it is fair to say that some bloggers may, as some point in the past, used free air to inflate tyres, and perhaps even some free water to top up windscreen washers.
But we know, Mr Norman, because payments are a matter of record, that energy companies (including ExxonMobil) have also been making sizeable donation to environmental groups. Why were these donations not declined if you feel so strongly about this matter?
Inquiring minds would like to know.

Bruce @ 19,
Thanks for the link. You’re right, we need to continue the pressure.
That link made me laugh so hard….
Check out what these nutters are ranting on about:
Wow, an international conspiracy at that!. Oooohhh
and finally
10
:-)… Ha ha.. That’s the best one yet! Golden stuff. Pure comic gold.
10
May I suggest That George Carlin’s environmentalists rant fits well in this thread.

From the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper,
“James Norman, of the Australian Conservation Foundation, said the strategy of ignoring climate change sceptics had not worked as it had been taken as confirmation of their claims. The stakes are too high to remain silent or disorganised in the face of this systemic disinformation campaign”
The statement is ambiguous, it’s the alarmists that are actively campaigning, eg Greenpeace is a campaigning organization, they alarm, we and Gracie respond.
I assume “this systemic disinformation campaign” refers to what the alarmists are doing, it refers to them, it seems to be a confession that they have a systemic disinformation campaign.

They are not nutters at all – they are deadly serious and have agenda in mind – emancipating the earth from capitalism, or private property. They will wait until hell freezes over to achieve that goal.
Private property is the only means we have of stopping the state from enslaving us (and incidentally they only means by which they can tax us – remove private property rights and how does the state fund itself?).
10
Albert #23
No he is referring to the Climate Realists – us – and I suspect they actually believe we are well funded by big oil and coal, and so on. They do not understand that their policies might actually be the problem – hence our opposition to them. Their attitude arises from the fact that they form a self-referencing social milieu in which, despite much debate, it is debate about their own ideas without a balancing input from alternative viewpoints. The don’t understand our view points because their whole world-view is based on their assumption that they are normal. Bernard Goldberg described it accurately in his two books about the US Media – Bias, and Arrogance.
I know personally of this as many of my friends are very green and lefties. (I just don’t make provocative comments, though socially they are a pain to be with since the visceral hatred for us tends to depress one a little).
They just don’t seem to understand that what is self evident to them may not necessarily be so for the rest. That is the world view of the intellectuals – where universal truths are arrived at by debate to form a consensus. That’s why we are regarded as the enemy.
Let’s not underestimate this lot – they control government, the education system, local councils, state government, etc.
We are fighting the state, not a bunch of politically active scientists.
10
This one’s not quite as good but it has the best line as to who should leave the room before the rant begins
10
I totally agree, Joanne that’s the best of what I’ve seen so far…Love them…I wonder if the Germans are shaking their heads about subsituting words, phrases that state otherwise…I’ve seen the movie, it was OK. A little bit of History. My youngest Son is into WWII big time…

Actually Albert #23… The reason for the Greenies flight of fancy into conspiricies of big oil and world wide organized networks of Kaos, etc, is to keep their own base of activists mollified by the fantasy that they are actually the oppressed and victimised….
Kim Il Jong does it with the North Koreans all the time. Everything is an American plot against the country. The power goes out, it’s the evil Americans sabotaging the electical grid. Food shortages, it’s the evil Americans ruining the crop. Fuel shortages, it’s the evil Americans blockading the good people of North Korea.. etc.
These Greenies are no different. They have to present this lie of a conspiricy of evil skeptics to keep the activisim alive… I think they are seriously struggling now.
10
The Atlas American Economic Research Foundation is an organisation that assists others to start up free market think tanks, etc. So the issue isn’t climate but free markets and capitalism, which it was from the start, of course. Unfortunately many thought it was the science.
10
The Labor party never really wanted Garret onboard, not as one of them. They wanted to tout his name and reputation at the last election to get some cred amongst the activist demographics that once looked up to Peter. As soon as Peter got a portfolio as Environment Minister, they tricked him and created Penny Wong’s special ministry to push Peter into the background.
When it becomes convenient, they will go to a nuclear option and just steamroller Peter Garret out of the way. I only hope that he resigns with some dignity intact and tells the story of what happened to him so it serves as a warning to others.
The one time Peter told the truth was when he said that regardless of what promises you hear or who you vote for, after the election will be a whole different story. That should go down in history as the most honest thing ever said by an Australian politician.

So two people sit either side of a rattlesnake and one says, “The snake is my friend” and the other says, “The snake is my enemy” but which one is more likely to get bitten and die?

Here’s another term for the Warmers – Climateers! (H/T to American Thinker)
10
Just wondering if this has already been discussed but ~~~~
Does anyone know how much $$$ has been spent / allocated for this AGW campaign in Australia….. how much wasted taxpayer money has been used and abused so far?
Second question is about a new? political party to fight the AGW in the forthcoming election? Climate Sceptics? Anyone have information on their credibility etc? I checked their website but it seems to be under reconstruction currently.
10
Tel,
As Sir Humphrey pointed out, in order to stab someone in the back, you must first become their friend, so :-).
And remember as well, that it is very dangerous being right about matters on which government is wrong.
10
McHarris,
As a founding member of the sceptics, (but we are low key in WA) our bona fides are solid, though being a single issue party has it’s pitfalls.
10
McHarris at post 33.
See link below for Hansard from the Australian senate – pages 3779 to 3819. This is a list of all govt grants for climate change research in the 5 year period prior to June 2009. I think I got this link from one of Jo’s previous blogs.
Read it & weep!

No matter how many “Hitler hears about..” videos I watch, I can’t stop laughing.
Love it. Thanks Joanne !
10
Tel:
I have to disagree. In the run up to the election Rudd said several times, ‘I’m not John Howard.’
This was the last time he said anything that Australian voters can be sure was a barefaced unvarnished truth.

Whoever the peson is who edits the Hitler spoofs, this one, and it’s my second viewing, is the best so far.

I totally agree. People assume that there is only one reality, and only one set of truths to describe that reality.
Now, that may be true in science (although recent events may indicate otherwise), but it is certainly not true in the social sciences, including politics.
In fact, thinking about it, the study of climate variation should really be a branch of physics. But the processes used – the scientific method – are more akin to sociology and political science than physics and chemistry. But I digress.
I don’t like the term, “world view”, because to me it implies rational thought. None of the Cultists views are rational. They have a belief system that provides all of the psychological benefits of a evangelical religion. It is very persuasive to those who don’t understand science, yet need a non-mystical reason to understand and explain “undesirable” changes to their environment.
On Maslow’s hierarchy of need, the Cultist needs are down around levels two or three. Scientific arguments are lost on the Cultists, because logical explanations are higher on the hierarchy than that; at levels four or five.*
As you aptly point out, “We are fighting the state, not a bunch of politically active scientists.” And the Cultists have certainly infiltrated the education system, and much of the bureaucracy.
But they do not control government – yet. Governments are still dependent on the whim of the people, and will go with the prevailing wind. The wind has shifted, but is it a sustained shift, or just a stray gust? It is the responsibility of the Realists – us – to make sure that Governments realise that the wind shift is sustainable.
*Reference to Masow’s hierarchy can be found here. I use the principles with some “licence”.

That’s unbe&*^%&inglievable!!! S/loads!! Please confirm – we elected these guys to be help us, right?
It’s not very obvious at the moment.
The Penny has dropped, and should be.

Speedy,
Go read Andrew Bolt’s latest re the former speech writer’s experiences. I used to work for SMEC during 1977/8 and watched Jim Cairns and his troupe pass through Cooma, dining at Hassad’s. Mile’s impressions are familiar.
10
MSM still maintains the AGW scientists insist they are actually correct, it`s just that they are not “communicating” the message as well as they could;
http://bigpondnews.com/articles/Environment/2010/02/21/Climate_science_survives_scandal_431246.html

And another snippet on European carbon trading in action;

Louis,
I have read Andrew Bolt’s latest. I can hardly believe this is how these politians behave. No wonder most of their “initiatives” have failed. They have no planning skills or is it thinking skills?
Re: the Age Article about “Greens take on sceptics”
“The groups, including Greenpeace, the Wilderness Society, World Wide Fund for Nature, Australian Conservation Foundation and Friends of the Earth, have acknowledged that the public mood has shifted following the collapse of the Copenhagen climate talks and blows to the credibility of the IPCC.”
Does anyone know who funds the above organisations? Would this knowledge illuminate their potential bias? (rhetorical question) I am curious to know where Greenpeace, ACF and Friends of the Earth actually get their funds?
Oh and by the way, I am waiting for ExxonMobil to send me my cheque?
Also, The video is very funny, albeit a little bit scary at it’s potential reality.
Annie
10
Annie, after a few minutes of googling re Greenpeace funding, here`s one source.
http://renegadetory.blogspot.com/2009/12/greenpeace-funding-for-dummies-or-vice.html
The overall picture is mostly private donations but also from foundations, the two most prominent seem to be the Turner Foundation and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.
10
Rereke,
Whether or not the change in the wind will be sustained is not yet known. But there is some hope! Both the states of Texas and Virginia have announced their intent to sue the EPA, demanding that they disclose the science behind their decision that CO2 is a danger to humans. Since the EPA based its decision solely on the work of the IPCC, doing no work of their own, I don’t think they can withstand those challenges. Any good lawyer can easily find some good sound skeptical scientists to help and the revelations about CRU and the IPCC are now out in the sunshine.
If the EPA loses it will be another, “shot heard ’round the world.”
One might argue that Obama could name one or two Supreme Court Justices before this could get there. But Republicans now have a grip on the Senate where it hurts the most. And if they have any brains at all they won’t hesitate to filibuster the confirmation of any activist nominee. Democrats will yell and scream but they didn’t hesitate to do it when they could.
10
Roy Hogue: #49
I agree!
Y’know, the EPA have actually done us all a favour by issuing their endangerment finding – if I was a conspiracy theorist, I might even think they did it on purpose, just to get all of the science and non-science out in the open.
If the whole thing gets into court, it will signal the end of this particular scam. We will have to see what the Cultists come up with next – they are not going to go away.
10
Love the Hitler parody. I remarked to a person high in the Federal Government that Copenhagen had been “a farce” and he was horrified. They have their own reasons for beliving that it failed completely. It’s almost as if they believe what they read in the MSM.
10
The only downside of the parody I can see is that they parodied a moderate. If they had parodied a raving madman, with delusions of grandeur and a deep passion for world domination, who was prepared to go to any lengths to achieve those ends then it might have seemed more realistic.
10
George,
Thanks for the info re Greenpeace Funding.

Annie.
