Oh for the luxury of an election about policies! But when corruption rules, it gazumps the rest — no point in discussing the policies (whatever they are) if they might be managed by friends for the benefit of donors instead of the needy. All hail the slush fund.
Indeed why even discuss candidates if your vote might be flipped? Things are suddenly silly-electric. Last week Hillary mocked Trump for his talk of vote rigging, and contesting the election, but this week her team is assembling a voter protection program with thousands of lawyers. (And all the Dems had to do to avoid this was to approve voter ID checks.)
As the last week of the endless election begins Trump is jumping in the polls as the media churns with stories about the FBI investigating practically everyone, and voter volunteer watchdog teams are springing up.
There is not just one but five separate investigations of the inner Clintonworld clan:

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are arming up for a possible post-Election Day battle.
Clinton is assembling a voter protection program that has drawn thousands of lawyers agreeing to lend their time and expertise in battleground states, though the campaign isn’t saying exactly how many or where. It is readying election observers in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Hampshire, Iowa, Nevada and Arizona to assess any concerns — including the potential for voter intimidation — and to verify normal procedures.
The Republican National Lawyers Association, which trains attorneys in battleground states and in local jurisdictions where races are expected to be close, aims to assemble 1,000 lawyers ready to monitor polls and possibly challenge election results across the country. Hedge fund manager Robert Mercer, one of Trump’s biggest backers, has sunk$500,000 into the group, its biggest donation in at least four presidential elections, Internal Revenue Service filings show.
“We are fighting for open, fair and honest elections,” the association’s executive director, Michael Thielen, said in an e-mail.
Watchdog Alleges Virginia Prepping For Mass Fraud…
The state of Virginia has five million voters, but they printed six million ballots. Sites that needed an extra 700 ballots in 2012 (provisional ones) have been sent 84,000. Other sites are crazier:

Still, a thousand illegal voters were registered to vote in Virginia in one sample of eight localities. Perhaps they’ll need the extra ballots?

I think Trumps potential hinges on his ablity to choose Savy advisors on the various areas that he is not experienced in. In that sense I think he does offer hope because he wouldn’t have been very successful if he was unable to seek good council and act accordingly. The resources available to him, should he make it to the top job, are vast. It’s entirely possible he will be a good deal maker and a great president who is a good communicator and can cut through to deliver the message. He is the only hope.

That is exactly what I have been saying to people who have been forecasting doom and ruin with a Trump presidency – he is a businessman and has experience in being advised and delegation in areas he is unfamiliar with. One has to understand Bankruptcy laws as well. Trump filed Chapter 11s. Not 7s. The former is just a way to restructure your debt in order to be able to pay it off. It does not absolve the company from paying it. Which means Hillary is a bald faced liar. He stiffed no one (except perhaps out of exorbitant late fees which are usually negotiated away – a Chapter 11 is a negotiation between creditors and debtors).
Chapter 7s are when you walk away and investors ARE stiffed because the company is dissolved and the assets go towards the debt in a hierarchical payoff (and most companies do not file for bankruptcy if their assets exceed their debt).
Chapter 11 (for companies) and 13 (for individuals) hurt your credit rating because you are late in paying, and usually you negotiate away fees and interest, so are just paying back the amount owed. But no one is “stiffed”. GM however, the great success story of Obama and Clinton, DID stiff the little guys (except the unions). It was illegal and also improper, but then neither of those seem to affect democrats.

Actually I think he can get them all done in a 100 days since many of them are proposals to Congress asking for new laws and in once case a new Constitutional Amendment. The rest are administrative where he has control.
I had the pleasure of being in a corporation they hired a new manager who hit the ground running. It is really amazing what an effective executive with his head screwed on right and decent back-up can do.
People forget that Trump has been thinking of running for decades. He has had plenty of time to bounce ideas off many many people and assemble a really good team. On top of that he has a mandate from a major number of wide awake, energized Americans including those in the bureaucracy who have been completely disgusted with the way this country has been run.

It is disinformation. The media, which is supposed to act like a check on the government, long ago threw away any facade of impartiality. This year it got to the point where they openly proclaimed their support for the democrats. The only thing saving us from a dictatorship of the left is that very few pay attention to the mainstream press now. The internet has given people other options to find the truth. Wikileaks has been releasing emails for weeks, yet it is only in the past week that they have been getting a mention from the mainstream press.
But that did not mean people were not learning.
Trumps platform is as hostile to the far right as it is to the left. Probably more so. It is not his stated policies that they are scared of. It is the fact that he is not getting money from Wall Street or Soros, so cannot be controlled like most politicians.

You ask an important question.
Answer: There is for the most part nothing wrong with that platform. People may disagree with this detail or that. But it’s a sound conservative platform and if he can get us started down that road it will be nothing short of fantastic.
What is wrong is that Trump has consistently alienated a whole lot of the Republicans and yes, Democrats too, whose cooperation he will need in order to accomplish his agenda. He’s alienated a large part of the American population as well. And frankly, a president needs the confidence of the people in order to succeed. He’s alienated some of the most influential talking heads into the bargain, most notable among them, Megyn Kelly and Charles Krauthammer. He had no reason to do that. And before it’s all over he might need at least the acquiescence of such people to his agenda if not outright support. Remember, a whole lot of people will be disappointed (probably an understatement, more like angry) if he’s elected and they will be working against him. They will try to undermine him at every step. He’ll need willing followers as any leader always does. And he’s frankly, simply dismissed a lot of those who would be willing followers and made the unwilling into an even more determined force to cause him to fail.
And that has been my objection to Trump all along. He recognizes what the problems are and although I would not make such asinine statements as, “…build a wall and make Mexico pay for it,” I agree, we need that wall — and a lot of other things that only Trump has promised he would attempt to do. He’s given his political enemies so much material with which to attack him that I wonder why he doesn’t recognize that fact and stop doing it.
We needed someone who could say the things Trump has talked about but who could also lower the polarization quotient while doing it, not increase it. We’re balkanized so badly right now that I wonder if it can be fixed.
I would not vote for Hillary Clinton even if doing so would save my life.

Also he has gone into areas national politicians ignore.
He gets an enthusiastic crown of religious types in Cleveland Heights Ohio while Clinton as KEY NOTE SPEAKER at a black baptist national convention is shunned.
Based on crowd size at rallies it is HILLARY that has alienated voters not Trump and that is why the MSM will not show the size of his crowds while photo-shopping in bigger crowds or hiring seat warmers or teachers coercing students or cutting down venue size for Hillary.

I will take it from the nature of your comments that you live in the United States unless you tell me otherwise. So on that basis I have to answer you with a sense of greater confusion than I would otherwise have if you lived elsewhere.
I watched all the debates including the first pre primary debate during which Donald Trump stood up on stage and picked an unnecessary fight with Megyn Kelly over an imagined slight, one that anyone with even a tiny ounce of good judgment would say was a nothing blown up until it almost had Trump shouting at her. Indeed it was nothing, she did nothing warranting his fight with her. Kelly kept her composure and in fact as far as I saw after the fact, she was giving Trump the benefit of the doubt as much as possible. And Trump not only didn’t recognize what he had done, made no apology but continued the fight.
Did much of the media, not only here but around the world, pick it up and amplify it all they could? Of course they did. But they could not have done so if Trump had not given them the ammunition with which to shoot at him.
He has done this over and over. I will not try to list everything but he’s still going at it.
I have been watching politics in this country for a long time. I was first eligible to vote at age 21 and I’m now 77, soon enough 78. When I first voted I was naive enough to believe that government was actually trying to get its job done right. It took me a long time to reverse that foolish thinking but in that process I learned 3 things.
1. I had better start paying a lot more attention to politics and what government is doing than I had been.
2. As it says in the song from the movie Mary Poppins from 1964, “A spoonful of sugar make the medicine go down… etc.,” now long forgotten but well worth remembering.
3. I better start trying to figure out what’s actually working and what’s not.
That 3rd item is why I stuck in item 2.
And I’ve come a long way since realizing these things, a long, long way.
It’s dismaying to me when someone says as you do that the media is at fault when in fact donald Trump created his own nightmare all by himself. And I have said this over and over, he’s alienated a whole lot of people whose support he will need in order to accomplish his agenda. He’s going to need the support of the people and he’s simply pushed a way anyone who couldn’t accept him exactly the way he is, standing up there on the debate stage or some other event making a total ass of himself.
I hope he has a plan to win back support if he’s elected because neither congress nor the American people want to be treated to what Donald Trump has dished out. Our most successful president ever in my view, Ronald Reagan, never once went into alienating anyone intentionally. He had a sound platform, he may have spoken in firm terms about it but if Trump and Reagan could trade places and even if Megyn Kelly had really done him some slight, he would never have mentioned it, much less continued the fight afterward. The contrast is like night and day.
I get it that many voters are angry. I get it that Trump is angry. I understand it all except one damned thing, anger makes very bad decisions and this campaign has tuned into one of voting because of anger. It’s deadly. If Trump is elected will he continue to act on his anger? I’ve never seen it work in a professional setting, I’ve never seen it work in a social setting and I’ve never seen it work in politics either. I once worked briefly for a business owner who, when he didn’t like what was going on, made neck wringing motions with his hands. His business was in financial trouble and he didn’t know why. He couldn’t have led a dog to the nearest tree. He wanted me to go deliver his VP a message that he should deliver personally. I didn’t do it. Thankfully they were so bad off that I was laid off shortly after that.
I’ll read and respond to any reply you want to make and I’ll be civil and stick to the issues, no bringing in personalities, no attacks, nothing but sticking to what you say.

Now I will admit that her picking the nits was nowhere near what the rest of the MSM has done. But she knew how to push his button and seemed to get joy out of doing it (to the tune of a fat new contract).
So if you are looking for a Mitt Romney, you are not going to find it in Trump. He is a businessman, not a politician (and after all, that was the real intent of the founders – no political class – citizen politicians). He is going to lose his temper, he is going to growl when he is stung. But we have had years of politicians who know how to tell you to go eff off diplomatically, and the country is in the crapper. So his support finds his candor, his vulnerabilities, and his non-political demeanor to be refreshing.
I probably agree with about 25% of his positions. But then I agree with 0% of Hillary’s, so that is still something. But I am not holding my nose to vote for him. I want him to give the beltway idiots a red tuckus. I want him to be the hemorrhoid for DC for at least 4 years. And if he does nothing else, I will be satisfied.
You can say that I am burning down the house to rid it of a bug infestation. But I say the house is so bug ridden, nothing else is going to work.

I cannot vouch for what you say about Megyn Kelly’s fight with Trump or his fight with her, whichever it is. So I will take that at face value — I am already very much disappointed in Kelly, so much so that I rarely watch her whole program since about a month ago. And what I would like from Trump is very simple, the same demeanor and general behavior with which he so obviously must conduct his business affairs. I find it hard to believe he goes around doing to those whose cooperation he needs to get a project approved and finished and then the property run smoothly, what he’s done to anyone who has expressed the slightest disagreement or even questioned him during his campaign.
Am I off on some tangent about this? Seriously, I think I’m right on the mark but you’re welcome to tell me I’m wrong if you think so.
I can’t see him as anything but a seriously crippled president if he’s elected.
About burning down the house — just remember that it’s your house and my house and the house of millions of Americans and weigh the damage against the benefit. That’s all I’m doing. @Roy – Boardroom demeanor does not win Political fights. So I doubt you will get your wish.
As for being right or wrong, I have not and will not judge you on either. Elections are about preferences, and very few are “right” about the outcome even if they voted for it (promises never kept).
But I agree Trump will be handicapped president. I doubt he is deluding himself on that. He ran outside the establishment and has had to fight both the democrats AND Republican establishment. Probably at best he will be a do nothing president, except for foreign policy where presidents do have more freedom and power (and in that, his business skills will be used most effectively).
I am only looking for Trump to do 2 things if elected. #1 – break up the good ole boy (person, it, or whatever) network of the DC Power establishment. Perhaps we will get a few more Dave Brats in there. And #2 – stop the hemorrhage of our allies. While Obama’s domestic record is nothing short of catastrophic, his foreign record is much worse. No one with half a grain of sense can say he has been good for the US in the world, or for world in general. Indeed, he appears to love to fail. And in that, he has a lot to love.

I reckon kit’s a bit of both and my obsearvation is that the mainstream Republicans just buckled . . . plain and simple.
They saw the maverick in Trump and had to decide between solidarity within familiar territory where their vested interests lay or throwing all that under the bus and backing the maverick.
In essence they went with the 97% consensus.
That consensus view persisted right up to, and beyond, the point where they had to face the ‘threat’ that Trump was going to take the nomination . . as distinct from being offered it. They were risk averse. They failed to recognise a leader when they saw it and failed to support that leadership.
In the process they confirmed their position as merely another part of the establishment.
That’s the bloody sad part.

When you write that “he didn’t have to” “alienate” smug talking heads like Charles Krauthammer (and the lesser Megyn Kelly), I can assure you SOMEBODY needed to do that, and in the national spotlight. I have watched the insane, constant backbiting–and home-stretch outright treasonous rejection–of their own candidate by the Republican elite throughout this long campaign, and as an independent I applaud any discomfiture of them by Trump, in the hardest-hitting terms he can bring to bear. “Didn’t need to do that”, my foot. I always have and still do respect your opinions. Indeed you could be right. But so could I. Neither of us has any way of knowing how much influence Megyn Kelly or Charles Krauthammer has on the outcome on the 8th.
And both of them are simply the probably best known examples of what I’ve been talking about. They are without a doubt in my mind, the two most influential voices heard on the Fox News Channel, the number one conservative broadcasting organization in the country and they are heard five days a week or more by conservative voters. And not withstanding that, you’re right, they are not unbiased. But they are not nearly the only examples I could cite, not even close to the end of the list.
It’s increasingly obvious from the way Kelly has been going on that she is anti Trump while still trying to maintain a facade of impartiality. I have become very disappointed with her by the way. And Krauthammer’s words say it directly so no one needs to interpret anything.
And so what. The truth is still this that I said to Gail Combs above.
It spells difficulty in governing for Donald Trump if he wins. I know people who might vote for him but are afraid, literally afraid that he might push the nuclear button. I don’t think he will but his image as a leader at home and with our allies is already mud. Will he be able to overcome that.
I’m totally dismayed that Republicans nominated him. And now we must try to get him elected, do or die. And he’s looked on as a savior by so many. But he won’t be that savior. As I said, I’ve never seen anyone going about a job that first and foremost requires good people skills, succeed going the way Trump has been going. It doesn’t work that way.

Maybe you’r right. Or maybe you’re wrong. The truth is that from the beginning I never saw Trump as electable against Clinton. And he lived down to my low expectation in spectacular fashion until just recently when his demeanor and whole approach has had an about face. And yes, I notice that and it’s encouraging. But will it be enough?
There is only one Republican I can remember who ever showed up in the polls as likely to beat Clinton and that’s John Kasich. But he was not bombastic enough to get media attention so he went nowhere. And since we seem to be obsessed with polls, we really ought to consider that inconvenient little fact. If it is so important to elect a Republican (and I think it is) then we should have put our effort behind Kasich.
Now, because it’s only Clinton vs. Trump remaining out of all those who began the race, Trump is the standard bearer whether I like it or not. I hope it works. But I think we have Trump for the same reason California got Schwarzenegger — name recognition, media recognition and not demonstrated qualification for the job.
So believing as I do I could not be a Trump booster and remain honest. And if I can’t speak what I think is the truth, what can I speak?
We will soon see what the voters have to say.
By the way, when we elected Barack Obama the first time I gave up on trying to save the world. That job was never in my hands in the first place and I’m much better off without a burden because of it. I will find a way to cope with whatever happens.

I disagree. Trump won because he saw a wave and got to the top first on it. And the wave was not immigration. It was betrayal. Trump supporters (I was a Cruz man) are mad as hell and not going to take it any more. If any of the other candidates had gotten “non-poliltical”, Trump would be a foot note, not the candidate.

You are correct in saying that those that need to read what is written here won’t, and yes, Joanne, I thank you as well for championing not just what the US needs to read, but what the EU and the rest of the world needs to read. The peoples of this world have mostly been led down the wrong pathways for the last 50 or so years.
As for the American election, I fear that the president will decide that there can not be a fair election this year, especially if Clinton withdraws under the added investigations, and suspends the election for the Presidency while allowing all other elections to take place. And yes, the Republican leadership in both houses would support his decision based on the fact that they fear Trump’s potential light shining in places they don’t want illuminated.
Problem is, of course, the Constitution doesn’t permit that as it is people, not parties, that run for offices, and there will still be 3 candidates even if the Democrats can’t put up an alternative candidate. But given the history of the US government over the past 28 years, the Constitution will not stand in the way of what is politically expedient. My expectation is that the presidential election will be suspended and realigned with the next federal election in 2 years.
But what I can not fathom is how anyone can accept a person as a candidate that can say, “we came, we saw, he died!” and then laugh at the fact a man was tortured to death. Such total lack of compassion and morality just is something that I could not conceive of supporting even for a cow stall cleaner.

That would be usurpation of power so great that I don’t think Obama would dare do it. There is no provision in the constitution for such a thing and as far as I know, nothing in federal law that would permit it either. Hillary cannot be simply knocked out of the race, even if indicted before the election, which is doubtful. And as far as the constitution goes, she could serve even if convicted unless impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate. And if the “kid glove” treatment a federal judge used in the case of Bill Clinton’s perjury is any indication and given the makeup of the Supreme Court, Hillary would get a lot of benefit of the doubt, far too much.
I’m not a constitutional scholar much less a lawyer but president Obama is supposed to be one and what he might do is always a mystery until he does it.

I have to admit that I was impressed. He is obviously an egotist, but then he freely admitted that there is an awful lot that he doesn’t know.
He then went on to say, that the one thing he was good at, was finding those people who did know, so he could take their advice, and then blame them if it didn’t work.
It raised a laugh from the audience, but it sounded sensible to me.

His early speeches and rallies during the primaries were pretty rambling. They have got him to use a teleprompter now, and keep him on message. He is doing really well now. I think he is going to win.

I’ve had the dubious opportunities to vote for Hillary or Bill 8 times now — beginning with the 1982 gubernatorial race in Arkansas. The choice was never so clear in the previous 7 times as it is now. The “boy governor” and his Yankee wife, now known as Crooked Hillary, probably should be in jail rather than the White House, which is enough of a reason not to vote for her.
All of that aside, my main reason for not voting for her is the urgent need to break with this climate change madness.

From your knowledge and the publicity to which you are exposed, is there in fact any part of the US or the rest of the world in which the Climate has Changed? Just nominate one place please if you are actually aware of a climate which has changed.
If at all, I mean change which is any more than what is now called ‘natural variation’. Rarely in my lifetime has one year been the same as the last. Some decades were hot and dry and some wet and cold. Unless you are in the tropics, that is the climate.
Here in Australia we had a decade long drought, which we have had before, about 100 years ago. It is a land of droughts and flooding rains. However we are told the Climate had Changed, except now we have the flooding rains which they cannot explain. How is it there?
Why isn’t the term Climate Change just silly? Is there any reason it has any traction, any credibility at least any more than Mars Attacks? That also involved the President and Jack Nicholson did a good job. Does anyone believe this Climate Change stuff?

My view is that I have not observed any climate change over my life time, which is now more than 60 years.

Not in the way that the alarmists are pushing. I’m 65 years old and really don’t see any perceptible climate change in any place I’ve lived or have knowledge of.
My parents were children of the American great depression and lived on the northern edge of the dust bowl region. The local
climateweather then was different than what it is now — much hotter and dustier — but part of that was due to excessive cultivation in wet years in a region that is normally dry. The virgin topsoil was torn away and when the dry years and winds came, there was nothing to hold the soil in place. Natural variation combined with farming overdevelopment led to disaster.It is hubris to believe that we have any significant impact on global or even regional climate. Local climate, however, may be affected by land use or development. For instance, Little Rock is normally warmer than the surrounding county due to the urban heat island effect.
I used to be a “believer“. After someone challenged me on it at work, I stumbled onto Steve Milloy’s Junk Science site back before the Climategate email releases and, after reading a few things there, started doing more online research. What really changed my view was finally understanding that this whole thing is predicated on the absorption of infrared radiation (IR) by CO2. From my background in nuclear power operations, one thing I do comprehend is absorption cross-section, and that increasing the concentration of CO2 will have little effect on IR escaping the atmosphere as virtually all of the IR in the spectrum that CO2 will capture has already been captured.

As the election is nearing, the polls are still close. Most media political pundits still see the election going to Clinton. However, there are reports that internal FBI sources believe there will be an indictment, barring some sort of obstruction from the Justice Department.
Most American voters do not understand that electing Clinton will have an adverse impact on them through higher energy costs and expanded climate change related regulations. While climate change and anthropogenic global warming has not been an issue in this election, a Clinton administration will, at the very least, continue the policies already in place and in development. Understanding this, for me, means voting for Trump is voting to curtail the climate change madness.

A recount of a machine that did something illegal won’t see anything.

That’s an easy question. The answer is surely obvious.
But, in case it isn’t, then try this next time there’s an election:
1. Get up early and go to your local voting place and vote in your name.
2. Go immediately to another voting place a little way away from your local voting place in the same electorate and pretend to be your neighbour. When the staff ask you: “have you voted already today”, tell them: “no”. Vote in his/her name. Obviously you need to be a male if you’re going to vote for your male neighbour and ditto for females (although with the LGBTQ thingo who knows these days?).
3. Go to yet another voting place, repeat the process and vote in the name of your neighbour who lives on the other side of you.
4. Keep going with all the people in your suburb that you know.
5. When you’ve had enough fun for the day go home and have a beer. You’ve earnt it.
You’ll never be caught. You’ll never be asked to show your ID – the electorate staff have no power to ask you to do so. If they have the temerity to do so tell them to “get stuffed” or, if you’re polite (like me) tell them you left your driver’s licence at home. There’s no ID check. The voting rolls are marked off manually with a line through the name of the “voter”. Each voting place has a separate and unlinked voting roll. There are no CCTV cameras at the voting places.
Eventually, all those people in whose name you voted will receive a “please explain” from the Electoral Office seeking to find out why they voted more than once. They, of course, didn’t. They have no explanation and the Electoral Commission has no case. They may still be fined but if they’re smart they’ll not pay it and eventually the Electoral Commission will go away. They’ll not be prosecuted. They’ll just report the number of duplicates to the incompetents at a Senate hearing. And that’ll be the end of it.
You see, in Australia, it’s also corrupt. You don’t need to vote in the name of dead people – they mightn’t be on the roll and you’d be found out. But there’s nothing to stop you from voting as often as you like in the name of anybody you know at different voting places in the same electorate. Well, nothing other than your ethics. But nobody on the left side of politics knows much about that – so don’t you worry about it. They don’t. Neither does the Parliament or the Senate. If they did they’d ensure that ID was required to be shown at all voting place before issuing the ballot papers.

Condemning people for their religious belief is against the US first Amendment and civil rights in other jurisdictions.
I have thought about how criminal charges could be bought against the high priests of Climate Change but I think they are protected under various laws and rights in the western world. Manipulating numbers and rewriting history are not criminal acts to my understanding.
On the other hand there is merit in identifying the culprits and beginning collecting the evidence that might lead to building a case – maybe fraud, maybe criminal negligence, maybe deceptive practices, collusion. I live in mid North Carolina and my business takes me over much of the middle of the state.
I have seen NO signs put out by the GOP (Rep Governor signs found on street corners but no Trump signs.)
I have seen THREE Hillary signs and one was a Hillary for Prison.
No Jill Stein signs and two Gary Johnson signs
I have seen several Trump signs in yards and given all the Trump signs I put out were harvested and torn-up within 24 hours that is very encouraging.
Also the rallies at Charlotte, Greensboro, Fayetteville and Raleigh were filled to overflowing. I did not go and instead watched Rightside via the ConservativeTreeHouse. Many commenters were at the rallies so you got first person reports and even photos.
The amateur reporters have now taken the place of the MSM at least for me.

Reading the FBI investigation report, it highlights a very fragile system for handling classified information. It actually surprises me that classified electronic documents can be emailed outside the government network. Surely the first step toward improved security is removing that possibility from anyone on the network including a 69yo grandmother who likely has little knowledge of the workings of modern electronic communications. There should be document locks that destroy the content if it is sent out of or attempted to be read outside the secure network.
A reasonable defence is that she had no idea of the potential exposure – the notion that she discarded new Blackberries for the old one she could work, reinforces that line of defence. Her minders should have been more careful ensuring security protocols were followed. On the other hand that defence may not be the best basis for a 4 year term in the top job.

What I really like to know is how can we be sure voter fraud is not going on? I don’t really care if Clinton wins as long as it’s done fair and square. At least America gets the leader they richly deserve and suffer accordingly. However, if the Americans overwhelming vote for Trump but she still wins due to voter fraud then that’s a totally different thing; Americans in that case do not deserve what happens to them down the track. I do hope there is a way to check the votes are recorded fair and square at some stage even if it’s weeks later.

(Bloomberg) — The Republican National Committee, accused last week of scheming to suppress minority turnout on Election Day, was ordered to give Democratic leaders any evidence of deals with Donald Trump’s campaign for his supporters to stand watch at polling places.
That includes any written or verbal agreements relating to voter fraud, ballot security, poll watching and poll monitoring, U.S. District Judge John Michael Vazquez in Newark, New Jersey, said in a ruling on Monday. The Republican leadership has until Wednesday to comply with the order.
Vazquez also ordered the Trump campaign to submit affidavits explaining the basis for remarks made in recent months about ballot integrity and poll-watching by Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence. The filings should include details about which precincts were being targeted and why, the judge ruled.
The judge denied the Democratic National Committee’s requests for e-mails and other electronic evidence tied to Conway’s and Pence’s comments, citing the tight timetable for such a search before the Nov. 8 election.
The DNC may renew its request for such documents after the election, the judge said…

Thank you, Jo, for your excellent coverage of both the recent Australian election and the current US election. In Australia, News Ltd, Fairfax and the taxpayer-funded ABC have all shied away from the actual issues, focusing instead on innuendo about Trump while glossing over Hillary’s transgressions and probable crimes.

If you want Russian links with the US political system, read the article on Uranium One in the NY Tiimes on April 2015. It is a long story about a Russian take over of US uranium mining assets, which needed political approval while HiIIary CIinton was in the state department. And in the process, the CIinton foundation inexplicably recieved millions of dollars. It is difficult to trace exactly how much, as there were numerous donations, but it is in the region of 80 million dollars. Trump said it was 140 million dollars. Now that is real pay-for-play sIush money. And it went direct to the CIintons.

With the DNC Wikileaks showing collusion between the DNC and Clinton to steal the election from Bernie; the Murder of DNC ?Whistle Blower? Seth Rich; the threats by Hillary to drone Assange and Sec of State Kerry effectively muzzling Assange using threats against Ecuador; all on top of the tossing out of Bernie Delegates and supporters at the DNC convention you have this sentiment from the Bernie supporters:
“Us #AfterBerners are mad as hell and we’re going to burn this motherf…ker down with God-Emperor Trump leading the way.”
If they do not vote Trump, they will vote Jill Stein, who is at least sane or Johnson. They are very much #NEVERHILLARY
2. Unions — The leaders may support Hillary but the rank and file support Trump because of his stance on immigration and trade deals. 4. gov’ employees — So far Trump is getting endorsements from the three largest police unions, Received Bay of Pigs Veterans Association’s First Ever Endorsement, the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council endorsed Trump, National Border Patrol Council and a ton of other groups and individuals. Some gov’t employees actually want to do a good job and are disgusted with the corruption now found in government. FBI Director Comey found that out when the piles of resignations showed up on his desk thanks to the Clinton e-mail scandal.
