Greens want to put you in jail for seven years for burning coal after 2030

Let’s lock up the whole country

You can’t make this stuff up.

Greens want to make burning coal a crime

The Greens want Australians to start treating coal like asbestos, with the minor party announcing its policy to make the energy resource illegal.

Yes, because asbestos kills people, which is a lot like coal which saves lives, feeds plants, keeps us warm and earns us $23 billion dollars a year. (And that’s just thermal coal).

Greens MP Adam Bandt outlined the policy on Friday in Hobart, which makes it illegal to dig, burn or ship thermal coal from 2030.

Individuals and corporations could face up to seven years’ jail for using thermal coal after that date, the Greens propose.

Life is death, money is poverty, and fires are a secret code from Gaia:

Greens policy would outlaw thermal coal as it is ‘no longer compatible’ with human life

Against the backdrop of catastrophic destruction in California, Bandt will tell his audience Australia’s biggest chance of avoiding climate catastrophe is by ceasing coal exports. — The Guardian

The Greens are a danger to the nation. They’re killing people through stone-age reasoning.

It’s an anti-science theology that ignores the evidence and unquestioningly lauds unaccountable foreign committees.

Whoever you vote for at the next election don’t vote informal and lose your chance to put The Greens last.

The last three paragraphs are great.

This is 2018, and that is stating the obvious, but how else do you highlight the facts that the Global Warming Mythology is based on Voodoo Science worthy of a Stone age Cult.

CO2 doesn’t induce atmospheric temperature changes and is absolutely blameless in this system it is supposed to control.

The bottom line is that the Global Warming Scam is a control mechanism: a modern version of The Abominable lifestyle enhancement known as Slavery.

Humanity has lost twenty years of Progress in important areas and been robbed of billions of dollars through this scam.

    When will it be confronted?

Jo is doing great in that areas but strangely the Adam Bants have the game tightly under control at the moment.

    Truly weird stuff.

Then what are the unions? The likes of the CFMEU and MUA keeps the Greens alive, in fact they were the ones that pulled the Greens out of potential oblivion.

Its what is commonly referred to as “the swamp”…as in it needs to be drained.

Oronically, will the greens oppose nuclear? If they do, what appears to be the anti- human green agenda will be then clear for everyone to see.

Agreed, they are part of the current leftist infestation if society….

Cancer or green, putrid chancre? The end result is much the same.
I suspect ‘The Greens’ know such policy is ludicrous. It’s a play and a ploy.
Shoot for the politically absurd and settle with a softer ‘compromise’, knowing that the compromise per se would have been politically unachievable had it stood as the original position.
At the end of the day, there is only one possible and rational response to the eco-Marxist globalist
      ‘The Greens’ …
      derision, dismissal and comedic denigration.
Let’s reflect a little Alinsky at them.

      Graham,

One death through applied ignorance is one too many.

But we now have hundreds of dead from “The Fires” and no doubt in Victoria and California there will be many more grieving at the loss of loved ones.

The other Green Nightmare is the Declaration that Gaia will protect all cyclists exercising their rights on the edges of busy roadways, because the local Green Council had painted a line to keep traffic away. How many deaths, sorry, sacrifices, there?

These people are unfit to govern and endanger the community.

Yes and the bleeding hearts are complaining about the cyclist killed on Caloundra rd last week. It’s a 4 lane highway and they are trying to infer that there isn’t enough room for bikes AND cars.Since bikes don’t contribute to road maintenance, why should THEY get priority?

This is an unfortunate situation because we already know the solution.

Pedestrians have very different amounts of acceleration, top speed, and momentum, compared to cars. When these distinct traffic classes co-mingle the chance of fatal collision is rather high and virtually always fatal for the pedestrian and not the driver. We gave cars and pedestrians separate lanes to travel in which reduces the danger down to almost zero. This doesn’t stop some pedestrians running out in the middle of the road drunk at 2am, but it solves 99% of cases.

How is that solution not applicable to cars versus cyclists too?
The current law (in Qld) of drivers giving cyclists 1m of room is often wishful thinking on some roads, it is a cheap decreed response that only solves the problem by holding up all cars behind a cyclist until a passing opportunity arises. As a cyclist, I don’t want to be “that guy” so I avoid roads where I can. If that means that on most roads there just isn’t room for cyclists, well then perhaps cyclists have to lose that battle and cycle elsewhere. Bikeways are obviously the best where they exist, 2nd place is bike lanes, 3rd preference is the road shoulder or exactly along the white line if the shoulder is narrow, followed by local-only traffic sideroads to get past cuttings, and the last viable option is a footpath because hardly anyone walks long distances.

On the Caloundra Rd incident specifically there is no question about whether this was due to narrow bicycle lanes, Greens-endorsed or otherwise. The crime scene photo on 9News shows there is no bicycle lane there. What the cyclist had available was even better than a bike lane, they had a rather wide road shoulder to the left of the solid white line which they could ride in and which the ute had no reason to cross. Ominously, the accident occurred just before the left lane ended with a merge right sign. The body of the cyclist ended up near the dotted line separating the ending left lane and middle lane, however the crashed bike was on the road shoulder. I generously assume the driver stayed in his lane and infer the bike was pushed to the left after its rider was separated from it in the collision. The cyclist likely was in the left lane that was ending. Almost certainly the driver was trying to merge and checking for traffic to the right and approached the cyclist so quickly as to not see him ahead between glancing right.
This was excessively dangerous for the cyclist to do given a safer option was available, and yet under the rules of the road, because he was ahead of the ute in the same lane, the ute driver should have given way to the cyclist. The ute driver is at fault.

I would rather see a system where drivers should not have to check for small slow traffic ahead of them in a merge-right lane. How about prohibiting cyclists from using the main road wherever parking is prohibited and the road shoulder is paved for 80cm or more to the left of the white line? That rule would also be a cheap decree that doesn’t build new lanes, but at least would ensure in situations like this one that the driver is not blamed.

How we cyclists pay for extra new lanes is a good question, though not a huge issue for as long as most people who are cyclists also drive a car. Car registration partly pays for new ways for drivers to not be held up by cyclists, which sounds like a benefit to drivers. I do suggest that, no matter who is breaking the rules on the day, cyclists should not be paying for road travel with their life and limb.

Oh brother, you’ve gone and done it now Keith. You’ve dared to speak the truth about the pushbike community and their suicidal habits on our roads. Bikes are great; they have their place — which is not on busy roads.

When you see entire yuppie families out for a casual ride together in an 80 zone, dodging around parked cars out into traffic, it scares the crap out of me to watch them: mum leading; a wobbly 4 year old in the middle; dad bringing up the rear pulling one of those mini-rickshaw contraptions behind him containing the precious 1 year old. All of them apparently oblivious to the danger of their situation, and where there is no chance of passing them, equally happy to form a slow-moving road block along a main road, their speed governed by the maximum speed of the 4 year old.

I suppose our next road rule will be that when you see a pushbike you must slow down to 20kph, and at grave risk of upsetting the racing bike fraternity, don’t even get me started on their antics. Highways are for getting from A to B, not for holding regular bike races on, 3 or 4 abreast, doing 30kph in a 90 zone, strung out for 2 or 3 km, with zero possibility of overtaking them, especially when it’s on the only road for miles around and there is no alternative route for motorists.

If I went and wandered on foot along a major highway blocking traffic and causing chaos, I would rightly be picked up by the boys in blue and given an ear-bashing or in some circumstances, charged, but put 2 wheels and 2 pedals under me and I’m immune to laws that govern normal people.

If the boot were on the other foot and I went strolling around a velodrome while they were trying to hold races, their outrage would be deafening, but it’s OK for them to effectively block arterial roads because it is their bicycle-given right. Rant complete.

If you have ever had a coronary stress test carried out you will have some idea of the physical state and situational awareness of a cyclist who is head down and arse up pedalling away on our roads. The physical condition and awareness of these people is at the time, far worse than anyone over the blood alchohol limit. They are however assisted and encouraged to be on the roads with priorities over motorists. They are,in my opinion, unlicenced, unregistered, uninsured, in no physical condition to be on the roads, there is no detailed and enforced standards for cycles used on public roads(many of them have modifications carried out).etc, etc, etc……

In the late 80s we had a guy on a bicycle who would pedal along a major 3 lane thoroughfare during evening rush hour. Traffic would slow up behind him for a mile or more. One evening someone ran over him – hit and run. The bicyclist was
crippled and is still alive. I had forgotten about it until recently when I was reading cold case police reports. The report noted that after 30 years, and although there had to have been dozens of witnesses, no one has ever come forward to identify the driver or describe the vehicle.

They should be encouraged to set up their own canton within Australia in which they can conduct a war on coal (they’d be isolated from the national power grid) and move everywhere by bicycle and EV.

On second thoughts why not offshore the community! –Macquarie Island would be apropos and we could send Bill Shorten and Kerry Schott with them as leads on their electrical power infrastructure program.

used any product that requires the use of coal in its manufacture?

Recently I purchased a bottle of coal tar shampoo! It seemed like a great way to passively-aggressively fight back against gang-Green. It was like the carbophile equivalent of virtue signalling. You don’t even have to use the product to benefit from it, you can just leave it on the shelf in the shower and grin smugly at it every night. Plus I needed some more shampoo anyway. Total bargain.

Ladies, you know what else you can do with coal tar shampoo?
Yes, you know. Sing it with me.
♫ I’m gonna wash that Bandt right out of my hair! ♫
♫ I’m gonna wash that Bandt right out of my hair! ♫
See, it’s so much fun and you haven’t even bought a bottle yet. But the fun will end when the Greens criminalise coal. It’s a shame because orange is so not my colour! ;-D

There’s also rumour and old wives’ tales on the web that coal tar shampoo helps prevent dandruff. I could promotionally recycle those old claims of health benefits, but I have standards. I’m a coal tar salesman, not a snake oil salesman.

It’s a sign of the times.

To those who have lived in more rational times it is frightening to watch the current political operating mode which demands that everyone must live in a dream state and avoid reality on pain of severe censure.

As a young kid I lived in a very grounded community where the only external, non human, influence was the radio and Saturday afternoon movies.

We lived in a real world where the modern gas oven had just replaced the coal fired stove.

The enormous tragic loss of several hundred lives in Victoria and now California is attributed to global warming which is
almost unbelievable, in the avoidance of the reality that human arrogance caused these deaths.

In California, the gum trees were deliberately imported and planted apparently without regard for the known capacity of these trees to explode into flames and Safety and Logic have been rejected with tragic consequences.

There is a bigger reality out there that sits unrecognised by the Browns and Bandts but they can’t see it because it isn’t on their screens at the moment.

KK, I remember those times. I was only allowed to go to a Saturday movie once every two weeks.
Spent most of my childhood in Southern California and remember the gum trees in the school yard. On some weekends the family would go for a drive and we’d be driving through areas that didn’t look all that different from parts of Australia. Hills full of blue gums. Probably made it easier for me to adapt to living in South Australia.
Now I need something to make it easier to adapt to the electricity costs!

People conveniently overlook events such as Black Friday, in 1939. 71 deaths, and nearly 5 million acres burnt. The death toll would have easily eclipsed that of Black Saturday in 2009 but for the simple fact that very few people actually lived in the forests of Victoria back then. ‘Treechange’ was not a phenomenon that existed back then. Was burning coal responsible for those fires? Or was Gaia getting back at people for chopping down trees?

Victoria and California are two of the most bushfire prone places on earth.

The Greenies need to start building lots of large prisons to house the billions of people, in particular from China and India because there is no way they will stop burning coal. The Cement?
      The Steel?
Neither of those grow on trees …

Manufacture of cement is dependent on coal.
Manufacture of steel is dependent on coal.

No coal = no steel and no cement.
No steel and no cement = no prisons.

We will have to issue those Greens with a pair of nail-scissors and put them to work cutting grass.

Let’s take this a little further:

Coal is used not just in steel manufacture but in refining iron, which material is necessary to make electric motors …
No Coal = no iron, no steel
No iron and No steel = no electric motors
No electric motors = no EVs (loud cheers from the cheap seats!)

            Sending them to Mars?

That has possibilities but only if NO Coal was used at any stage in the manufacture of their spacecraft to get there. They would have to be entirely, as in totally, green. We know hydrogen balloons have lots of (short term) lift but are limited to operation within the atmosphere use, so they won’t work. Aluminium can’t be used because windmills and PVs don’t have the energy density and reliablitiy to manufacture aluminium. So they can’t have their tin-foil hats, either.

Krishna monk `levitation’ takes too long to practice and is severely limited in attainable height (ooh: this could lend itself to many and multitudinous puns and ridiculosities 🙂 ) without many major breakthroughs so it’s also ruled out as a propulsion method.

The bodies will just have to be buried where they can’t be found. (Bottom of the Mariana Trench?).

Yeah! The seventeenth century windmills didn’t use concrete nor steel. There was a bit of iron used (nails, etc), but that was all. Electric cars like the Tesla, are now computer controlled (the better to miss or not miss other people) and their batteries are Lithium ion rather than Lead-acid. They also burn way better and so very much faster than the early ones because of their NEW TECH composite materials, so maybe that justifies the label?

About the California fires, I’ll just say: Hmmmm…

As for jailing us, the likes of Bandt have long been dreaming of turning whole nations into jails. They even got their way last century with a proto-globalist gig called Communism. Just think what they could do in this century when the surveillance tech is to die for. (No, really, comrade. You get to die for it.)

Of course, the jolly green giant jail will be funded with lots of frenetically gouged coal and other minerals. Special exemptions will have to be applied for purposes of collectivist plunder, carpetbagging oligarchs, the usual sundries. They’ll call it bridging carbon. Or maybe transitional carbon. Whatever. Someone will think of a cool Newspeak name.

Goes without saying there’ll have to be lots of debt, which isn’t so bad unless you have to pay it or unless the tap gets turned off. But that never seems to happen. And it’s not like the initial money ever existed. (Fractional reserve is so last century. Why even bother with fractions?)

The little proto-globalist gig called Communism had to do a fair bit of damage that way in order to achieve…er, whatever it achieved.

“Ah well,” says Adam. “You can’t incinerate an omelette without smashing all the eggs.”

I’ve stated for a long time the Greens are the political party most aligned with the National Socialist German Workers Party than any other, Just replace National with Gaia and its all there, the NSDAP actually had its roots with Fascist Ecology (Lots of info) and the modern day version is acting in kind.

Watch the mask slip more and more as the world political sphere moves further left thus validating and eventually accepting their anti-human ideology.

Let’s create a greenbie nation, Macquarie island is free. There they can go with 100% renewable carbon free and virtue signal their way to prosperity all their short and brutal lives while the rest of us lead our long, long sorry lives thanks to coal, oil and gas.

Just have to set up a Choi latte cafe to attract them there.

The CO2 coal emits when burned is the gas of live. Plants need it and we need it for plants we eat and the animals that live on the plants.

In fact the Greens have morphed into very evil types. You can tell from their various draconian policies. Their poisonous ideology is spreading and will in the next few years culminate in a major upset, perhaps even a civil war. What happens after that depends on how the general public react.

Yes purging the LNP would be nice but I can’t see it ever happening. It would take too long and there isn’t anyone willing to do begin the purge anyway. A more realistic and effective path is for a 3rd party to grow and initially align with the LNP to help each other out (much like why the Greens have aligned with the ALP) and eventually for that 3rd party to take over the LNP and let it die. The 3rd party of course needs to have as many of the right policies and agenda as possible to counteract the left. The ACP could be such a party if the people would only support it. That’s the sad part of all this. Conservative like minded voters by and large don’t give a damn and will not see how all this could be fixed very quickly by giving the ACP the same amount if not a lot more support as the Greens are getting from the left and extreme left. Without such a 3rd party the LNP is doomed, and so is this nation.

BTW, I agree coal is clean but nuclear energy is even cleaner in many respects. This country needs to grow up and enter the 21st Century; another reason to support the ACP but of course not enough people give a damn. Sad really. This nation could be amongst the world leaders in many fields, including space exploration. I tried to engage CSIRO in that a long time ago but it fell on death ears. I suppose we as a whole are just too short sighted and only care about who will win at the races or the football match. Enjoy the ride while you can.

It also gives the neo fascists a chance to point the finger and say democracy is working, but if half the electorate scribbled across their ballot papers that CO2 doesn’t cause global warming then it would be a clear indication that democracy has failed.

Asbestos got a bad rap anyhow.
When you consider just the part it played in WW2 ships, people in asbestos suits saving others in peril, lagging of steam pipes giving better ship performance and so on, the benefits of asbestos might well outweigh the loss of life from mesothelioma.
Asbestos helped educate society that just because a substance was natural, it could not be assumed to be safe.
The greens have a kindy level of comprehension about Man and Nature. One cannot ban billions of tonnes of natural materials like coal and asbestos. One can merely be prudent with their beneficial use by Man. Geoff

Think of the millions spent on useless removal from buildings when if it was untouched then it wouldnt harm anybody. Most of the lung disease was from asbestos workers who breathed the dust everyday. We used to cut and saw it many years ago. Its now treated like it its potassium cyanide.

Im in the electronic industry. Another thing that the diktatorial EU did (from Green pressure Im sure) is ban lead solder. Lead-tin solder in electronic devices is harmless, lead is part of the natural world, just dont make water pipes out of it like the Romans did. Now solder fails, cracks harder to use. All this because of so called ‘waste’ being buried, lead is FROM the ground in the first place and a common element.

Agreed, science only ever showed toxic effects in very young children. Most electronics techs aren’t children in case the EU failed to notice. It’s not as if it turns to airborne dust or anything (molecular weight 207).

The base mindset of the Left is “everything would be better if *I* was in charge”

They honestly believe that they know best and by extension it is their right to be in charge of everything.

Anyone who disagrees is clearly wrong and wrong to such an extent that they must be silenced. Or in this case, goaled for up to seven years.

Remember these people believe it is their right to be in charge. Free Speech and Democracy only exist for them as stepping stones to their destiny of being ruler. Once they are ruler? Well clearly the correct person is now in charge so no need for any further elections.

If people like Bandt truly believe this rubbish, then they have no excuse to be using anything that is derived from coal and other CO2 producing fuels. They must immediately stop using electricity, and that includes anything involving wind, solar and hydro as none of those would exist without huge amounts of thermal and coking coal. They must not fly, drive, use roads, use, eat or wear anything imported. They must immediately turn off their computers and must eschew modern medicines and they cannot use hospitals. That is because using any of this means they are benefiting from coal and in turn, are bringing their so called tipping point closer.

If they all stopped doing anything involving coal, then their sacrifice would help the world, and if they argue that they shouldn’t do so mow as they only contribute to a small fraction of the problem and it wouldn’t make a difference, then ask them why Australia must act as we only contribute a small fraction of the worlds emissions.

BTW what happened to the last IPCC tipping point, it seemed to pass rather quietly in 2016!

The obvious answer to the ‘Green problem’ is for Australia to divide into two separate nations.

Considering the Greens make up about 10% of the vote, we should allocate them 10% of the country, such as southern SA where they already have their wind farms and battery. The idea being all Green voters would be sent to their special renewable nirvana-paradise. They would have their totalitarian constitution with it’s own printed currency and be completely independent to manage their own agendas of free living wages, free health and education, open border to refugees ect. Of course we would need to build a Trump style wall with razor wire and a team of heavily armed guards to prevent their escape after entering.

It was said that Frederick the Great of Prussia interviewed the prisonoers in a jail, one by one. Inmate after inmate assured him they were innocent and the victim of corrupt persecution. The last prisoner was brought – reluctantly – before Frederick and hung his head, and said “Your Highness, I am guilty and richly deserving of my punishment”.

Discovery of Massive Volcanic CO2 Emissions puts Damper on Global Warming Theory. Recent research shows the volume of volcanic CO2 currently being emitted into Earth’s atmosphere is far greater than previously calculated ,challenging the validity of the man-made Global warming theory .The cornerstone principle of the global warming theory ,anthropogenic global warming (AGW),is built on the premise that significant increase of modern era human-induced CO2emissions have acted to unnaturally warm Earth’s atmosphere. The UNIPCC computer models have only considered .001 per cent of Earth’s volcanic emissions to calculate there input according to Terrance Gerlach 1991 .Non-Erupting Volcanoes Can Emit Massive Amounts of CO2 into Earth’s atmosphere. NASA scientists have challenged the UNIPCC findings .The geologically warming of sea water leads to large amounts of CO2 being released by oceans and emitted into the atmosphere .97%of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere comes from nature ,and only 3%fom humans including coal .Clearly its time to put on hold all environmental action plans based on the cornerstone AGW principle of the global warming theory until additional geological CO2 emission research is conducted .This article is referenced from James Edward Kamis a Geologist and AAPG member of 42 years with a BS an MS in geology who has been fascinated by the connection between Geology and Climate

Finally, nearly everyone is getting it. The green blob does not want to live at your expense, they want you do die. Even and especially at the cost of their own lives. They hate the responsibility for being human and intend to destroy anything touched by the human mind.

As before, we need to learn to stop feeding them. They can’t make it on their own if we do. They will be gone in a few months. Then we can once again claim the world as ours to use in order to support our lives and thrive.
