The Climate Change River of Gravy is so wide and so fast it pulls other Big-Gov religions into the flow. Kind of like a Bernoulli Effect of Bureaucracy. The vacuum of common sense sucks. Or fast flowing nonsense attracts more nonsense.
Anthropologists of the future will study UNFCCC meetings
Here, two deep state clan members fly to a joint junket in Bonn. The climate sect does a feminist-indigenous handshake as a test of social rank. Will Australia pass?
Gender issues top Bonn climate summit
Graham Lloyd, The Australian
Australian officials attending climate change talks in Germany are being grilled on how the country is tackling global warming by addressing gender and indigenous issues.
The Canadian is proving their value to the other dependents of Big-Gov (though not to Canadian taxpayers):
In written questions to Australia about its climate change response, Canada has asked whether indigenous or traditional knowledge was taken into consideration in developing domestic policies or implementing measures to address climate change.
This gives the Australian a free pass to brag about similar pointless flag waving to an imaginary God that preferentially burns down the houses of single indigenous mothers. Should the Australian fail the test, the Canadian will get to brag at home about how much more advanced they are, and they’ll also know not to sit next to the Australian in the bar, or invite them to after dinner drinks. The Canadian can’t really lose — unless the voters find out:
“An indigenous carbon industry is growing from indigenous Australians’ participation in the Emissions Reduction Fund and is providing a range of non-carbon benefits, such as an independent revenue stream and increasing indigenous employment,’’ the government said.
The Australian passes, putting all the right keywords into an otherwise meaningless sentence. No one mentions that increasing the cost of energy will reduce indigenous employment, nor that indigenous people in remote housing are more likely to die if they can’t afford heating and air conditioners. Actual concern about indigenous people would be a negative. It’s Big-Gov flag waving that matters.
The second test is the anti-old-white-men score:
In part 2 of the handshake the Australian junketee is tested on gender flag-waving:
Australia was also asked for more detail “about the measures Australia implemented at the domestic level of mainstream gender considerations into its climate change policies”.
Naturally, old white farmers are never front-line victims of changing weather patterns. Their shorter lifespan compared to career feminists is irrelevant, as is their mental health, or suicide due to climate driven financial stress. Caring about men earns no points in clan junket status:
The federal government said “national momentum towards equal opportunity means that Australia’s climate policies operate in a context which both considers and implements responses to gender inequity”.
If climate hurts men more than women, affecting mining, farming, construction and forestry more than the predominantly indoor work that women choose, the paid junketee’s will still be talking about how women need to be paid more for taking less risk.
And when the frosts increase the big-gov clan will just book warmer hotels.

KK, the only way to stop this stupidity is to totally dismantle the UN.
As it stands the main objective of the UN is a socialist one world government under their control and they won’t stop until they are taken down. The problem is that there isn’t any government with big enough balls to tell the UN to go and stuff itself over global warming/climate change or whatever the latest scarey term is.
220
So true Ivan.
Time for AusUNexit.
The U.N. is mocking us for being so stupid as to work hard, live frugally, save for our future and then let them steal it from us.
Our politicians are not working in our best interests.
We have it bad here but I pity Britain which carries the electricity surcharges to save the planet, the extra costs of the U.N. as we do, and the additional burden of the EEU aristocracy.

As you can tell by looking at the UK, the only way something is going to happen is there is “a new kid on the block.” It will take a new, grassroots party, like the Brexit Party, in every country to finally move the needle off “maximum stupid” to something lower.
Traditional parties all suffer from the same damn problem – Party first, the people they are to serve third – the elected officials are second. There is no concern in the UK for the “average dirt bag, working man that carries the load,” from the traditional parties, just like there isn’t in the US from those traditional parties. It is all about the party remaining in power, thus the politicians remain on the gravy train, and they can occasionally throw a crumb or two to the scum that support the government.
That is their thinking, and it will remain that way until a new party muscles its way into existence. And it has to be an explosion, like Farage did with the Brexit Party, and you have to recognize that in time, that new party is going to morph into the old parties, and preserving their power will become their motivator, not the people’s needs, and then you have to do it all over again. In essence, then, it becomes necessary for “voters” to take on their responsibility of creating the government that works for them. It won’t happen by itself.

Well here in the land we call Australia the climate zone became drier about 130,000 years ago and the rainforests retreated to be replaced over time with vegetation capable of coping in the drier warmer conditions. The Australian Aborigines first arrived, latest finding from excavations and dating stone tools in Kakadu National Park Northern Territory,
around 65,000 years ago from the north, what is now Papua New Guinea.
During the last major Ice Age ended about 18,000 years ago what is today the Gulf of Carpentaria Northern Australia was a lake and many tribes camped there while living conditions in the south were icy cold, some tribes remained in the southern regions.
And the Aborigines experienced the last Maunder Minimum, The Little Ice Age, a few hundred years ago before white settlement in 1788.
The Canadian questions are insulting.
250
Hi Dennis, is it true that Australia was populated by several racial groups in the past 65,000 years and that the current group are relatively recent arrivals?
Interesting questions.

Hello Keith, there are a number of theories regarding the first migrants and from where they came, this link is interesting;
https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/migration-to-australia/
Having read the book: Cape York – the savage frontier, written by Rodney Liddell, he claims that the history contains “a mass of fiction into the history books”.
He claims that there was an aboriginal invasion of Australia resulting in the extermination of the “Original Indigenous Australians” (Papuans) less than a thousand years ago.
Obviously this “invasion” was in the Cape York region.
20
I was thinking further back, like Mungo Man.
10
It is thought that dingoes arrived here about 3000 years ago. I can see only three possibilities
a. they arrived here independently;
b. the original inhabitants went out and brought them back;
c. they were brought by someone else.
10
What exactly is that supposed to tell us?
00
I would be rather ashamed if I had been here for 65000 years and achieved absolutely nothing. The people of PNG at least had a semblance of community with their longhouses and fixed settlements. They practised agriculture and raised animals for consumption. They obviously were a degree or two more advanced than our locals. That seems to support the idea that there were successive waves coming to Australia with the further idea that each wave displaced (destroyed) the previous inhabitants. Rather than the present crew being here for 65000 years it could be much much less corresponding to the last time the Torres Strait was dry.

So we can no longer use the term Blackout? Is Brownout also offensive? Just an old fashioned whiteout then.
Indigenous electricity generation. Amazing. Done with two sticks.
I note the current program about Australian inventivness, that we have been inventors for 60,000 years,
even if no one was here then and the only invention was the boomerang. Luckily for us the boomerang has impressed the world.
I also note the digeridoo was initially bamboo exclusively from the Adelaide river region in the NT, but it has travelled well in the last two hundred years
to appear in ceremonies in Sydney.
We also claim to have invented WiFi, even though our real claim was suing the people who did.
Whiteout then. At least that is not prejudicial, like white coffee or white bread.
141
And if you are feeling a bit browned off, have a black coffee or white tea and you will be all white in the end. And your virtue signalling electricity can be
as you like it. PC AC or PC DC.

And in Vietnam they finally acknowledged that Ren DC Zero cycle is not so easy to mix with CF 50 cycle, 110 V AC.

I too have wondered about the dearth of inventions emerging from the much quoted 60,000 years of civilisation.
I also have my doubts about the boomerang as a hunting weapon.
A 1 kg bent stitck would be highly unlikely to bring down even a small roo.
I have hit them with a 3000 kg Ute and watched them get up and hop away.
Making it up as they go along??

Elgorza Narce said;
The Boomerang is used for birds. It’s very effective there, if you learn how to throw it. It’s even better against birds which naturally flock in large numbers.
But don’t worry about learning it: these new-fangled ancient windmills take all the effort out of it with their bird-kill.

Fifty years ago the purpose of government was to manage the country, state or region.
Today in government the main purpose is to get your finger in the pie.
Fifty years ago if you were caught with your finger in the pie it would be cut off, figuratively.
Today if your have your finger in the pie no-one cares because “everybody’s doing it” and isn’t that the done thing now.
How has unauthorised transfer of government funds to private us become acceptable. Perhaps we could ask Julia, Alexander and MalEx444 about it, they might know.

Come on, it’s April 1st right?
Or is it the Summer Solstice in Bonn that did it, with the summer sun so high in the sky that bureaucrat brains get bedazzled?
“The Bonn Climate Change Conference (SB50) will host a wide range of events, meetings, and negotiating sessions that will set the stage for raising ambition to curb greenhouse gas emissions, accelerate resilience-building efforts, and ensure that climate policy is built on a solid foundation of the best available science and knowledge”.
“Climate change will make people sicker”, said Patricia Espinosa, UN Climate Change Executive Secretary.
It really is a global emergency with such nonsense being discussed at such international meetings. Australia has sent a delegation headed by climate ambassador Patrick Suckling. Recall these fools immediately.

Went to the doctor today and asked for a script for the birth control pill. The doctor said I was male and had no valid use for such. I said I’d sue for such gender-abuse, so I was quickly given the script with no further prejudiced value judgements.

Mr Anonymous Racist and Mr Di Natale couldn’t possibly both be right.

They won’t be choosing it for long when the tax dollars generated by the mining, farming, construction and forestry dries up.

Oh the irony of asking about indigenous issues. I watched an incredibly enthusiastic tribal leader on Sky News the other night talking about the plan to build a HELE plant (combined with a bit of solar) on their tribal lands in North Queensland. Cost = A$2 billion. To be built with the help of Chinese financing.
50
I’ve said before the leftists can be anti coal, anti racist and anti all sorts of other things, but sometimes they have to make choices. In this example, if they oppose the HELE plant proposed to be built on tribal grounds, they are racist.
The answer is proposing any much needed energy generation plants, give them a choice. Propose to build a HELE plant, and commit to a high proportion of the workforce being women
