Roving organic MAGA crowds bypassing censorship

Fueled and Moving:  Remember 2009? The Climate Skeptic world was set on fire as the ClimateGate hide-the-decline pure corruption was both verified and then ignored by the media.  Now the Bidengate expose and audacious censorship is fueling the same indignation, brazen confidence and sheer determination on in a much bigger scale across the US of A.

Suddenly people who just had suspicions or hunches that things were wrong have been converted into campaigners with a mission. Doubts get replaced with confidence, and as the groups grow, so does the sense of “I’m not the only one”.

If the media won’t act as an outlet, then people find another way…

Trump’s Grassroots MAGA Army Working Around Platform Controls…

Sundance, ConservativeTreehouse

The MAGA rallies, parades and grassroots events are breaking out independent of each-other and literally happening all over the place on any given day.  Miles and miles of cars with Trump flags… same with boats… and sometimes just marches in the street where thousands of people just gather and walk with American flags, Trump banners, and other gear.

The media not only have to put out the Biden-fires, they have to censor the censorship-flames too.

So they blow the smoke back. Any friend of Big Gov is a friend-to-defend, so the mainstream media are covering for the Twitter and Facebook bias:

CNN blames a shadowy “right wing offensive” plan to discredit social media:

A right-wing offensive” is the 2020 narrative equivalent to Clinton’s vast Russian conspiracy theory.  The truth is Big Tech is getting their ass kicked by the American electorate and they are freaking out about how visible, in-your-face, unapologetic and dramatic the MAGA activism has become.  Thus blame-casting is needed.

It’s not like social media companies are naughty for denying half the population’s right to speak, it’s a Russian plot.

h/t Another Ian

Speaking of dramatic activism. Footage on Twitter (that isn’t censored yet) shows some remarkable organic gatherings. Not only are Trump events packed solid and filled for hours before they start, Trump supporters are gathering spontaneously, even going right outside Biden and Harris events. Apparently there are rolling lines of SUV’s, many with American flags, driving in convoys .

MY LYING EYES

Byron York describes “The big Trump rallies you don’t see.”

“I can’t believe there aren’t any newspeople here,” said Linda of Greene County, Pennsylvania, as she stood among hundreds of cars and pickup trucks. … Indeed, although there were carloads of Trump supporters as far as one could see, and many more on the way from Ohio and West Virginia, and this enormous political event was happening less than two weeks before the presidential election, as far as I could tell, I was the only newsperson there.

It was the biggest political rally no one saw.

John Hindraker:

We see, for the most part, what the people who run news organizations want us to see.

Much more at the link. An obvious question is, where are the thousands of people spontaneously turning out to support Joe Biden? To take just one example, where were the Biden boat parades? There weren’t any, of course. On the contrary: when Biden and Kamala Harris made a joint appearance in Yuma, Arizona, not a single person showed up.

….

What are we to make of the crowds? In 2016 Hillary played to half-empty rooms too, but she still got 60 million votes.

The passion of the top ten percent is not necessarily an indication of what the middle ten percent are thinking. But it’s hard to believe a man who can’t get a crowd in a carpark  can win the US presidency.

The media IS the problem.

If we had better media, we’d get better politicians.

And in today’s Australian, you can tell Trump is going to win as the anti conservative Troy Bramston has an amazing rant against this very popular President, enemy of leftists across the world.

“A tryannical, undignified Donald Trump has trashed the presidency and even threatened the republic”. He cannot find a single good thing about the Trump Presidency. Clearly the deplorables like Trump and half of America are ‘trashing the Republic’. “the republic itself may not survive if Trump is re-elected”.

What I find really odd is that if you are popular, you are ‘populist’, a terrible thing to be. As Sir Humphrey Applebee would ask, what does the public know about running the government? After all, the vote for Hillary in the swamp of D.C. was 98.6%. Clearly 1.4% were total deplorables. It looks like the same ratio for US journalists and Hollywood.

Ironically apart from the public service, the workers’ unions are no longer part of the extreme left. Only the rich and powerful know what’s good for you. And the Millenials are too lazy to vote. It’s not their election without Sanders/Harris who promises them free education and no jobs when they graduate.

      Well, 92.8% anyway.

Thanks. I remember the figure of 98.4% very clearly and found it in the early predictions . I was amazed at any election result outside a communist dictatorship which reached 98%.

The final figure was apparently 90.9% but at the time and now in hindsight, people seemed to be giving the prediction as the result. A bit like the BOM temperature measurements.

And you get different figures for different sites.

What is also amazing to me is that they want to make Washington D.C. a country, along with Puerto Rico, so they can get more senators. Both a taxation dependencies. Washington has only 300,000 people against 40 Million in California.

Washington D.C. is just past half the size of Tasmania and smaller than Canberra. All are public service dependencies in the Senate, which exactly why the Greens and Liberals want them to be states. And South Australia and the N.T. are not much better.

And it is a puzzle that the 5.1% which went to other candidates was ignored in the polling based predictions. How can anyone get polling wrong in such a small community? And if they can get this wrong, even somehow not account for the other candidates, how could they get any state right?

Often obviously leftist Troy thought he had discovered the answer to The Australian Republican dream, a couple of letters from Prince Charles to then Australian Governor General Sir John Kerr supporting him at a time when Labor were treating him to vilification on a grand scale after he dared, after seeking legal advice, required Prime Minister Whitlam to call an election when the government he was leading was unable to secure a money supply bill due to a lack of numbers in bother houses. PM Whitlam refused to accept caretaker mode and go to an new election, so the Opposition Leader Fraser was appointed, the Liberal-National Coalition became the caretaker government and proceeded to call the election.

Whitlam Labor was defeated in a landslide vote against them, dismissed by the people at the ballot boxes, election based on the Constitution and applicable constitutional law that a government that cannot demonstrate that it has the majority of seats cannot govern.

The Prince wrote to the Governor General offering moral support apparently accepting that he had acted in accordance with the Constitution, despite the claims from Labor that what he did was illegal. And the ABC claim that it was a “dismissal” by the GG. Apparently the Queen had advice that it would be best if Sir John Kerr resigned from the position based on the vilification taking place from the Labor side. In other words to settle the nation down and appoint a less controversial person to replace him. That should not reflect badly on Sir John Kerr, he did what he was required to do despite enormous political pressure.

Troy should research the position of the Monarch, from the passing of an Act of Parliament in Great Britain in the 1930s no Monarch has any real power, they are a figurehead for ceremonial purposes in GB and all British Commonwealth countries. During the 1980s the Commonwealth of Australia passed the Australia Act reinforcing the GB Act, noting that by that time the British Commonwealth had become the Commonwealth of Nations.

The Governor General is the permanent Head of State here and is appointed to the position by the Federal Government.

A spectre is haunting the American media, the spectre of democracy.

Their frantic attempts to stop Trump getting reelected have boosted support for him, but they keep trying hoping that somehow that the voters can be controlled. Worse is the realisation that retaliation will destroy their current financial position.

Media are produced by journalists. Journalists are produced by schools of journalism. The words “right wing” are considered a curse in these schools. Don’t expect any objectivity, just an unending stream of synthetic opinions. I wanted to illustrate my point by a famous “walking while black” video, but it has been disappeared: https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/latest-columns/20151028-dorothy-bland-i-was-caughtwalking-while-black.ece
For younger crowd: This lady jogs on a street – not a sidewalk – with headphones on. A police car follows her for a while, she can’t hear them, so they stop her and tell her that what she is doing is dangerous. She thanks them, everything polite, end of scene – on a police camera. The next day she complains of police brutality. She is a Dean of Journalism.

Did anyone watch Their ABC (Australia) last night? Your taxes paid for dual tag team anti-Trump bashes, first on the “730 Report”, then immediately followed by “4 Corners”. Seems Australian PM refuses to do anything about the ABC, it must be assumed he supports over a billion dollars a year being of our taxes spent on this 24/7 Marxist propaganda machine.

One of the many reasons non-American Enemedia put so much effort into anti-Trump Marxist propaganda is that President Trump is a threat to the Left and the pure evil they do, not only in the United States but in the West in general.

The Left are at war with Western Civilisation itself, not just the US, but the US is the most important because a) it is the most powerful country and b) for the first time since President Reagan, there is a leader that is unashamedly proud of America plus also understands and supports Western Civilisation and both the Judeo-Christian moral principles it is based upon and the reason and logic bought to us by ancient Greek thinking.

Ben Shapiro has an excellent short <6 min video on the West and why it is good, because such topics are no longer taught in "schools" or "universities". Today they only teach why Western Civilisation is bad. https://youtu.be/RVD0xik-_FM

I watch ABC and SBS. Know thy enemy…

SBS is far more interesting. They do much better on foreign issues, and were weeks ahead of the ABC on Covid. Often the two use identical footage from the BBC etc. The ABC is usually more woke, except on immigration and refugee issues where SBS leads the way…

But the ABC is full of filler. They hone in on irrelevant local issues at length, like rescuing rare orchids here, which deserved a 20 second mention on a public holiday, but not a few minutes in prime time in the weeks before a US election. They have become the TV Week lifestyle mag of TV — whenever there is a death that can be milked for agitprop they interview the victims aunt, uncle and second cousin to dwell on the grief, their reaction, the counsellign at their school, etc etc and on and on. It’s like national therapy delivered, free to air, usually with woe-candles.

We must be patient, Morrison picked Ita and David Speers was shoe-horned in. The green/left are livid.

‘The first 12 Insiders episodes since Speers’ arrival as host, have featured 36 guest appearances. Of these, 12 have been current News Corp employees and another four, recent departees. So 44 per cent of all guests from one stable.

‘There is no need for the ABC to reference anything from News Corp — certainly not as the key source of information. Australia has more than 30 important media organisations. It is itself a well-resourced generator of news and news analysis. Murdoch’s minions are entirely dispensable.’

President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign will take over YouTube’s homepage on Tuesday for 24 hours with a 7-figure ad buy, a huge investment one week from Election Day, Breitbart News has learned.

The ads that will run as part of the buy include a variety of different messages, and these not-yet-public YouTube links to the Trump campaign ads will go public at midnight on the east coast. The first one features a narrator speaking about key themes of Trump’s rise to the White House, and moments from his presidency, on the backdrop of patriotic pictures of the president:

Democrats Panic Over Potential Biden Loss as Trump Makes Gains

              https://www.breitbart.com/2020-election/2020/10/26/democrats-panic-over-potential-biden-loss-as-trump-makes-gains/

              {some of the txt below}

Democrats, fearful of a repeat of President Donald Trump’s upset victory in 2016, are reportedly losing sleep over their candidate, Joe Biden, potentially seeing his lead in the polls evaporate and ultimately losing the election.
On Friday, the Los Angeles Times noted that Democrats are nervous about Biden falling behind in the final stretch of the presidential race when it matters most.

The report came as some polls show Trump is chipping away at Biden’s lead nationally and in battleground states.
              *****
[Kamala Harris] indicated that Democrats are having post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from Trump’s presidential victory.

“You know, we all have PTSD from 2016, yes,” Harris declared Sunday, echoing Paul Begala, a longtime advisor to Bill and Hillary Clinton and a founder of the Democratic fundraising giant Priorities USA.

“Everybody is anxious,” Begala told the LA Times. “It is not just post-traumatic stress disorder. We have permanent traumatic stress disorder. We will never get over what happened in 2016.”

I gave up on the ABC a while back. Each time, literally, that I watched the news I ended up sending in a complaint over the completely false reporting, non reporting or bias which was so prevalent.

They initially responded but any “hard ones”, like the screaming about the increased covid cases in Europe in August Sept, but absolutely no reference to the lack of deaths, were never answered. The then Communications Ministers office refused to do anything either. Now they don’t respond.

When you have a Charter then it needs to be followed. But we have spineless politicians incapable of standing up for all Australians and forcing the ABC to follow it.

My main use of the ABC is their “Just In” site, which I find useful as I can scan a lot of stories quite quickly, and often get something useful, this one for example:
      https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-10-27/acting-chief-medical-officer-hydroxychloroquine-coronavirus/12817188
      ..
While I don’t like their approach, I suspect it’s a reasonable of report of one set of exchanges, even though they’ve not explored the validity of Paul Kelly’s position.

And I was able to submit a question:
“When will the ABC report on the Switzerland experience:
COVID under control: out of control: under control again
      =
HCQ in use: HCQ withdrawn: HCQ in use again
      ?”

But I don’t expect any response to result.

      Correct, David Maddison.
The U.S. is a burr under the saddle of the global socialist cause. The globalist push for a totalitarian world government was coming along nicely under a series of ‘swamp dwellers’ – including faux conservatives like the Bush family – but then along came Trump.
He doesn’t toe the line with the manmade climate change deception and he refuses to subjugate America to the dictates of the U.N.
He’s the swamp’s worst nightmare …. and he just won’t go away!
The socialists are desperate to get back to ‘business-as-usual’ … and what they’re working towards ain’t pretty!

In addition, the very bad things people like the Clintons and Obamas have done – which would vanish away under Kamala Harris and ‘the squad’ if Trump is defeated – might just be dragged out into the light of day for all to see. Retribution may be at hand for a lot of extraordinarily corrupt people who richly deserve it.
And that WILL BE a pretty sight!!

The left is so concerned because their plots to take over the world were going along smoothly after decades of work. But as they neared completion people rejected their vision. My gravest concern for the US elections is – Fraud

Without the possibility of (mass) fraud – i had felt the election was a one horse race.

When reading this (common) statement “In 2016 Hillary played to half-empty rooms too, but she still got 60 million votes.”

Is that hiding in plain sight? Have they been doing it previously – just not large enough for the then unexpected challenge.

The lesson for Australia – we should shun postal voting, reserved for those only truly incapacitated.

I realise our postal voting system is infinitely superior to the USA mail ballot system – but it still represents the weakest link in our most important of systems.

infinitely superior to the USA mail ballot system

I won’t argue without knowing anything about AU mail-in procedures but to be clear we don’t have “a” system we have at least 50 systems with varying degrees of checks and balances.

The Left has always fought against election reform which should be proof enough that there IS a problem.

Once an organisation is infected with a culture issue, there is no way to redress this. So surely the only solution is for the ABC to become a public subscription service.

Split it up so a monolithic structure isn’t possible. Then make into a subscription service for each part.
BruceC would have to pay for Spicks and Specks by subscribing to the Comedy channel.
Mothers of young children will want the Children’s Channel.
Those who want Political Indoctrination + astrology can subscribe to the PC Channel (including Attenborough and other BBC climate hysterics).
For those not in the inner city there should be a Country Channel with news (not current affairs), plus emergency up-dates, even what is now called the weather forecast.

Think of how much money they would make from a subscription service if they had all their old British programs from the 70s.

They’d make scads just from people wanting to watch The Two Ronnies.

Incidentally, for those who like those old and some newer British drama programs, there is a subscription Service available now (relatively cheap too) Acorn TV.

What could be more fair? (Apart from selling both it and SBS off).

Or split the ABC in half — call one the LEFT ABC and one the RIGHT ABC. It’d be a start and more honest.

But the Right ABC would be captured almost by definition by leftist journo’s and “RINO’s” unless there was a serious oversight mechanism to stop that.

There is simply no reason for the ABC and/or SBS to exist. And particularly not when the country is running public debt and deficits of astronomical proportions.

To the extent that any market gaps exist, these can be filled on a temporary basis (ie only until those market gaps no longer exist) by the government issuing and tightly managing very strict contracts (no bias or agendas) to private operators for the delivery of specific services.

Examples of service delivery might include: broadcast of parliament, service delivery to remote/uneconomic locations, etc.

Examples of “services” not delivered would be: Political Opinions and Commentary, “comedy”, niche interests (eg foreign languages, classical music, etc) – ALL of these can be delivered through existing commercial offerings (subscription, internet, whatever).

First step is to commence diminishing the ABC/SBS budget on an annual basis in preparation for sale, or if there is no market interest, cessation of operations within the decade (so, -10% per year until closed). A voluntary subscription model might also be used to replace some of the lost funding – I am sure it would be about as popular as voluntary carbon offsets on airline tickets.

The mere mention of such a plan would send “The Left” into apoplexy. While they understand little about anything, they do understand the power of ABC/SBS subversion of our society and its significant contribution to the destruction of our values and way of life – hence their manic support for the continuing existence of these boondoggles as public funding sinks.

I have no problem with privately-owned media having an overt bias, whichever way that takes them. Ultimately, that bias will be supported or rejected by their subscribers, making it a commercial issue for the company and its shareholders. Hidden or denied bias is of course another matter and a common trait among leftist journalists, but again a matter for subscribers and shareholders to deal with, or not.

The ABC is a totally different matter, along with all other ‘media’ organisations that rely on taxpayers’ funds to operate. In return for that funding, they should be obliged to represent the people who fund them, i.e. the taxpayers and, like the ‘proportional representation’ frequently demanded by lefties, the views, preferences, political bias and cultural mores of said taxpayers should be similarly ‘proportionately’ served in ABC content.

Their ABC is beyond hope. It should just be sold for its asset value alone, i.e. land, buildings and equipment.

Also, if sold, the Government should keep the trade name “ABC” so another Leftist organisation can’t start up their own channel with the same Leftist-identified name.

To sell it as a going concern will just perpetuate the problem as it will be purchased by Green Labor, the unions or Soros etc..

The ABC must be utterly destroyed like the cancer it is.

In the US social media claim immunity from prosecution for third party content on their sites under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act as they claim to be common carriers like a telephone service. However, clearly they act as publishers because of their censorship of conservatives. Therefore they are no longer common carriers. They can’t have it both ways. Trump has signed an Executive Order about this on May 28, 2020.

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-preventing-online-censorship/

Sec. 2. Protections Against Online Censorship. (a) It is the policy of the United States that the scope of that immunity should be clarified: the immunity should not extend beyond its text and purpose to provide protection for those who purport to provide users a forum for free and open speech, but in reality use their power over a vital means of communication to engage in deceptive or pretextual actions stifling free and open debate by censoring certain viewpoints.

Section 230(c) was designed to address early court decisions holding that, if an online platform restricted access to some content posted by others, it would thereby become a “publisher” of all the content posted on its site for purposes of torts such as defamation. As the title of section 230(c) makes clear, the provision provides limited liability “protection” to a provider of an interactive computer service (such as an online platform) that engages in “‘Good Samaritan’ blocking” of harmful content. In particular, the Congress sought to provide protections for online platforms that attempted to protect minors from harmful content and intended to ensure that such providers would not be discouraged from taking down harmful material. The provision was also intended to further the express vision of the Congress that the internet is a “forum for a true diversity of political discourse.” 47 U.S.C. 230(a)(3). The limited protections provided by the statute should be construed with these purposes in mind.

The thing about the Left is that they can simultaneously maintain and believe in two completely independent and contradictory positions.

Hence, I’ve always thought Leftism is a defect in being able to engage in logical thought processes. It represents a cognitive deficit. And yet Leftists are typically powerful and influential. That’s what makes them so extremely dangerous. They should have no place being in positions of power in civilised societies.

When Trump is re-elected he needs to reform the electoral process to minimise or eliminate voter fraud. I know each state has its own system, some much better than others. Perhaps there coukd be a federal commission created, similar to our Australian Electoral Commission, to establish standards, do audits and check for fraud.

    Americans have a tolerance for chaos and diversity that astound most more coherant societies;
however, this is being re-addressed as it once was by geographical redistribution.
70% of us may end up living in counties where the vote is 75% or more for one of the two candidates.
WE used to do this with religion.
If you belonged to the CHurch of latter day Saints, you lived in Utah.
Your county is georgia, or Ky, or Bama, told us what flavor of Baptist you were. I could go on offending the inoffensive but you get the idea.
Our media have gone bonkers before,as well. A biography of Henry Luce, or William Randolph Hearst can be instructive.

The Social media may become legally liable, one remedy, but perhaps not necessary. They are viable because people are there. Their users are their produce. If they offend many, no bond hold the audience; advertisers will follow users. They are not the first generation of their ilk, and though the most successful to date may not be the last.
I take their politics as a sign of hubris that should be as terrifying to their investors as that of prior industries who though their future was serving politians rather than their customers.

This election may be decided by fraud. It won’t be the first, though perhaps the largest. If the majority see this, we’ll probably fix it; I think America will keep fixing things until we make the fatal mistake. Hope this isn’t it.

Cardi B Freaks Out: ‘Trump Supporters Are Everywhere,’ Swarming L.A. with ‘Big A** Trucks’

Rapper and Joe Biden surrogate Cardi B was terrified when she recently encountered groups of Trump supporters in Los Angeles, expressing horror at their “big ass trucks” and saying “I don’t like this shit!”

Cardi B’s Instagram rants are believed to have taken place shortly before or after police officers detained her husband, the rapper known as Offset, after someone inside his vehicle allegedly pointed a gun at Trump supporters who had just participated in a rally in Beverly Hills.

The Beverly Hills Police Department released a statement late Saturday, saying that they had arrested one of the passengers in the vehicle for pointing the weapon. The individual was identified as Marcelo Almanzar, 20, who faces charges of carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a loaded firearm in public. The Beverly Hills PD said Offset wasn’t arrested.

Democrats Panic Over Potential Biden Loss as Trump Makes Gains

Democrats, fearful of a repeat of President Donald Trump’s upset victory in 2016, are reportedly losing sleep over their candidate, Joe Biden, potentially seeing his lead in the polls evaporate and ultimately losing the election.

I wonder how many people realise that leftist groups and individuals have found a way to influence public opinion and even boards of directors of public companies and politicians.

They buy shares in media and other businesses and use their shareholding to push their own agendas. Many astute observers realised that the Keating Labor Government’s Superannuation Guarantee Levy was done for union movement purposes, non-union superannuation firms remained but union super funds soon became major influencers in boardrooms.

Another tactic is to send emails to companies demanding an end to advertising with media businesses that are conservative or deemed to be conservative. Sky News was for some time targeted by groups wanting to have various presenters dismissed. One such small in number of people group using that tactic called themselves “mad f*cking women”, which should explain to readers the mentality of those manipulators.

This was absolutely true and correct, but I never heard him say it again. Why?

And who noticed that coincidentally the compulsory super levy was “granted” to the Hawke ALP government by the Transport industry and the right to build the Sydney monorail was granted to TNT by the NSW ALP government?

In the USA, States control how voting is done, not the Federal Government.

    In Washington State:
We do not have polling places, where there are lines.
Earlier this month registered voters received an information pamphlet, by mail.
A week later, ballots were mailed to registered voters.
We can mail them back, or not. We don’t.
On Friday or Saturday we will drop ours in a box in front of the County Court House.
Note that a registered voter can vote in person. Few do. We haven’t in, I think, 11 years.

We in Washington State look at news reports of people in other places standing in long lines (for hours!), and wonder what the &x%#@ is that all about.

It is about how the counting operations in West Palm Beach and Miami “worked” for ballots not scanned in person at the polling place….
