Look who decides when a state is “won”?
What if they were wrong but the loser set up a government anyway, and the people accepted that?
The NY Times deleted their own tweet when they realize they’d said too much. But Twitter deleted half of Trumps tweets since Election Day.
Look at how effective this was in stopping Trump setting the agenda. The Total replies and retweets was in the order of 100 every 10 seconds but fell by three quarters almost instantly.
A group called Election Integrity Partnership (who voted for them?) decided that Trumps tweet “made unfounded claims about the legitimacy of mail-in ballots and the Election, while fomenting fear of violence.” So they tagged the message with a warning, but that wasn’t going to stop the tidal wave, so they deleted the content entirely, leaving their own loaded interpretation in it’s place. They were using the Trump account to tell Trumps followers that he was fomenting violence, and without leaving his words there so anyone could judge for themselves.
Trumps tweet apparently criticized the Supreme Court of PA’s decision. He questioned the legitimacy of mail in ballots, which of course is a blasphemy. All mail-in ballots, verified, or found in car boot-buckets three days after the election are always legitimate.
Surely it’s time for Trump with his 88 million followers to move to Gab or somewhere else? The only reason Twitter don’t block Trump entirely is that they are afraid he will do this. It’s so much better for them to string it out and use his own Twitter thread to advertise his flaws with loaded labels. Trump, no doubt aware of this, is playing his own game to get what he can out of Twitter. Nonetheless, surely it’s time to start giving the competitors some free prime time mentions?
Honest Dems work awfully hard to stop people watching them count votes
In Pennsylvania, the Trump team had a court order to observe the vote counting, (why does anyone need a court order to watch votes being counted?) But it wasn’t enough, they still weren’t allowed in. The Sherriff would not come down to enforce a court order.
If the video doesn’t show up below, see it here.

In Pennsylvania, another 23,277 votes were found in Philadelphia this afternoon, all for Joe Biden.
True groupthinkers in action.
Michigan mysteries continue
Gatewaty Pundit reports: “In a secure area there appear to be suitcases and coolers moving in at 4am.
“A woman monitoring the ballot counting in Detroit has asserted that at least 130,000 ballots, all for Joe Biden, were brought to the center in three vehicles at 4 a.m.”
It’s worth watching (on Twitter, or Gateway Pundit).
“GOP members have been removed from the room. We haven’t been allowed to have one republican for every precinct, since about 5am when the 130,000 votes arrived….”

Perhaps it’s just a typo?
It’s worth watching this woman speak about what was happening in Michigan:

h/t to Gee Aye for typo corrections. Thank you.
Now, I can understand why people voted for Trump.
Also, I can understand why people voted against Trump.
But, don’t try and tell me that people actually voted for Biden.
Ok, OK – But, the picture we are being presented is faulty.
The Republicans in the Senate grew their support
The Republicans in Congress grew their seats.
All of it due to the actions of Trump
Yet, despite Trump significantly growing his own support – he is somehow ‘losing’ this election…
220
agree. A lame candidate might soon be a lame duck
321
Or vote fiddling…..hmm…I know which one is more likely.
I have a few US friends who were very grassroots kind of people. They had a good feel for how things are in the real world.
They were expecting a red wave that is now being ( we suspect ) illegally interfered with.
Trump also is exceptional accute in undertstanding how stuff works, so when he slammed the brakes on, chances are he was right to do it.
If they hold a judical inspection and its all above board ( it wont be, but hey…) then fine, accept the judges descision.
If its found to be exceptional good vote rigging, then those repsonsible need to have the book thrown at them.
150
why do you assume that only one side does the rigging?
314
“why do you assume that only one side does the rigging?”
We don’t, we just know that one side has far more experience in the practice than the other one.
171
So?
113
So, the side with all of that experience is not shy about making extensive use of their experience.
101
Whether your underlying assumption is true or not, that is not evidence.
211
Feel free Gee Aye — give us all the examples of Republicans bragging on youtube about cheating, refusing to let Democrat observers in, wheeling in suspicious loads of pure votes…
Of how they were losing a state til a dump of votes appeared in the dark of night.
210
verify that those are democrats.
26
When 138,000 ballots are “found” 100% for Biden, it is unlikely that the republicans were involved.
This was NOT an isolated incident.
In Pa a judge granted an injunction to have republican observers in the room, the sheriff refused to enforce it. If there are no republicans in the room how can they be cheating?
130
that never happened. Check the vote count.
btw DT is gaining rapidly in Az
07
Votes counted without partisan observers can be excluded from the count. End of story.
60
But will they? Was the “typo” decimal point error just the belated cover up distraction while the boxes of 130,000 votes were spread over the next couple of hours, fed into the piles and now mixed with other votes?
I don’t know how strictly they do things in Detroit tally rooms. Perhaps there is a forensic way to isolate them. Or perhaps there isn’t.
70
all votes were counted with observers
011
Sure, except for the times they were not allowed in, or were forced to “watch” through sheets of cardboard from the next room, even using binoculars (which were first banned, then allowed, but not much use).
90
I agree but what surprises me is why the manufactured votes seem to only have the vote for Biden and no down ticket votes for the Dems or did the states in question not have House or Senate seat elections this time around. ( I’m presuming not all states have federal House and Senate seats up for grabs each election — these will be in the mid terms).
80
“… or did the states in question not have House or Senate seat elections this time around.”
House of Representatives are re-elected every 2 years (on even years) so all of them would be up for election. Senators are elected for 4 years but the elections are staggered on a 6 year cycle so that only 1/3 third of the US Senators are elected every 2 years so all House Members are re-elected every two years and depending on how the State Senate elections fall, a State may have 0, 1 or 2 Senators up for election (on an even year). For example, in Pennsylvania this year all 18 House Members are up for election but no Senators (Pennsylvania will have one Senator and all House Members up for election in 2022).
100
“ Senators are elected for 4 years…”
Ric, think that was a typo.
Senators are elected for 6-year terms.
1/3 of them are elected every 4 years.
00
RossP
EVERY member of the House of Representatives is up for election every TWO years.
ONE THIRD of Senators are up for election every two years, so Senators get a six year term.
The President is up for re-election every second election hence a four year term.
State Governors also have four year terms.
Tony.

Jo The USA has always had issues being a ‘real’ democratic country ever since 1782.
It has always been, until the last 20-30 years a country run entirely by white men.
As part of that power structure entire categories of native born people were excluded for generations :
Native American Indians,, Women and of course Black Americans.
In other word the American democracy was corrupt or it was NOT a democracy.
And of course there is no national American Electoral Commission to establish and maintain
Standard operating procedures and rules for running elections or even enrolling voters.
And there is no body of full time employed dedicated trained electoral officials who who maintain the electoral rules and laws.
And there is no National electoral roll of voters.
And so there are manifold opportunities for local partisanship to influence who votes and how they vote and how the vote is counted.
And that’s the way it’s always been.
All the established power structures have used and abused this crooked system whether Republican or Democrat since 1782.
The USA in order to establish it’s credentials as real democracy urgently needs to reform this crooked system.
But that is highly unlikely as it would threaten the power bases of too many important people from both major parties.
PS Even the issue of gaining USA citizenship is problematic as I know from an American friend who while living in Europe on deployment with the US military, fell in love and married a French woman. He returned to Texas in 2014 with his french wife. Together they lodged an application for USA citizenship in 2018. It was officially granted in June this year after a huge amount of bureaucratic argie bargie.
Ummmm ?
40
Thanks. Now we’re really learning about the USA.
00
Anyone remember Graham Richardson and his words…”whatever it takes”?
Now we know folks, or think we know. Something is rotten in the USA. The swamp could not afford for orange man to win another term. Too many secrets to hide, too many investigations to quash.
260
Before we all get to our rants, and I admit to be suppressing mine only with great effort, I’d like to lay down some basics of (hopefully)fact and history. I know many of you are outside of the US, or have never been involved in this stuff. I have covered many elections when young, including Nixon in Chicago; live in Florida (can you say hanging chad) and have legal knowledge in the household….I am also biased right, hard libertarian soft Trump.
We definitely do thing differently that Aus.
We don’t have a national election, we have 50 state elections.
You must Register to vote, and be a legal resident of the state in which you vote.
There are some other requirements. Even registration, and how it is done differ from state to state; in some you show up, in others it is
automatic with a drivers license.
We vote. We count.
In most cases in America, when we are unhappy, we sue.
The Courts do not wish to intervene.
In most cases, even if a court takes the case and finds fraud, it will make no difference. The case of Senator Al Franken is instructive. He was eventually, many months in, found to have been seated with fraudulent votes. The court decided it had not the power to unseat him, nor order a new election, these being legislative issues. It could only suggest the legislature reform the process to avoid such fraud in the future. He served two full terms in the senate. This has been the general pattern except where there has been a criminal conviction of the candidate.
The US Supreme Court is an appeals court. There is unlikely to be original action there in any case.
A case will have to raise a constitutional issue to arrive there.
State courts are highly variable. SOme are elected. Some are appointed. Some are judicial and honest, some often overturned.
If there is a promising, large scale avenue, it MAY lie in the fact that, claiming “COVID” necessity, state courts and governors made ad hoc changes in electoral procedures, close to the election and outside statutory requirements.
There is no doubt this happened, in fact it happened in every state where there is a dispute as mail-in ballot and extend forms and terms of voting and counting were added by governors, courts, and sometimes election commissars.
The GOP will argue that all votes under these provisions are invalid. The perps will argue that the emergency forced their hand and generic state law allows them some freedom of action in an emergency. The case law cited will be thing like voting after floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes. It will be noted that other states somehow proceeded without issues.
Vote dilution, which is unconstitutional, happens if large numbers of invalid ballots are accepted.
A special case will occur if the court finds that a disputed process can’t be audited because the evidence was improperly preserved. This claim is likely in Nevada and Pennsylvania.
There will be statistical evidence proving that certain suspect classes of ballots drove turnout to improbable levels and had improbable splits. This is true, and we will all know that it is the proverbial looks like, walks like, quacks like, is, but a court will not find this “proof”. Vote counts larger than the population of a district will be suspect, but a quick look could not find a case prior where a court could specify a remedy for this.
To my mind, therefore, the only likelihood for success is a credible whistleblower, strong physical evidence such as security camera footage, or a truly exogenous event we can’t anticipate. The court will split the baby; note that all kind of awful things happen and reccomend we make better rules so that they don’t happen next time.
This is why vote fraud, especially in certain well known locations, has been persistent for generations. It is generally treated as a civil matter without penalty.
There is fraud, and then there is fraud.
I have a friend. They have a downs syndrome child. She has a mental age of about ten. She is the ward of a state. She is registered to vote and as “voted”in every election for 40 years. The parents were told, at a time in their life, that if they complained about the voting the child would no longer be eligible for state support. One person. A l;egal resident. A vote. There are about 400 residents in their institution. I have no idea if the district has even had an election fall within a 400 vote margin and I don’t want to know.
Perhaps you remember Harry Reid (Senate Majority Ldr) claiming Romney didn’t pay taxes for ten years, from the well of the senate. Asked after the election why he lied, his response was: “we won, didn’t we”. The party of which he was the majority leader was fine with that, at least in public. They will all be fine with whatever it takes to win here;
and, to be fair, I am not asking about any funny stuff on my side.
SO why sue? We already have a loss of confidence in our institutions. If generally it is known that there was fraud, disgustedly on one side and gleefully on the other, the standing of the institution will not improve.
Politics will continue. At this point, neither administration will have the traditional “consent of the governed”. Should Trump eventually lose, the single most important thing to the other side will be to consolidate their structural gains; geographically they are a minority party, and they hold a minority of the statehouses that will be doing a restructuring of our congressional districts in the next year. Every vote cast live in the countryside required coming to a location in the neighborhood, where you where likely known, and signing a registration book to get a ballot.
Mail-in ballots were sent to the big city.
These two things are not the same.
IF in fact dirty politics have put the Democrats in charge, and they wish to act like they have a mandate, they will likely wish to modify the structure of government.
This will be a very heavy lift.
They will want to do a Green new Deal
This will also be difficult.
Just as a random personal guess, Joe Manchin may be a nice man who all to soon finds himself standing at the nexus of history on more than one front. I wish him well.
190
I’d welcome your thoughts on Hannrahan’s (#53) post in the previous article, “USA 2020: Looks Like A Coup, … “.
30
Listening to Steve Bannon [he was taken down mid stream] and others what I said in that post seems well grounded in law.
10
Another interesting thing is that should this come down to a vote in congress it is not a vote on the numbers but a vote of the states. Cal would have the same single vote as Maine. Republicans have most states.
If it is a political process to decide, there is a scenario where Trump could have Harris as veep. Talk about a dog’s breakfast.
The Founding Fathers were acutely aware of the tyranny of the mob, hence the electoral college and this system where the states, not the numbers decide.
I was always aware that the US could be heading for a constitutional crisis but somewhat naively thought the democrats wouldn’t push that hard. Wrong!

Richard Illfield
I have never rated any comment on any website in the 25 years I’ve been using the internet. I don’t believe comments should be in a popularity contest. But I changed my mind today, and gave you my first thumbs up. You ought to have a blog, or website, or at least a soapbox on a busy street corner. A long post with a lot of political wisdom.
60
Thanks Richard, I have a copy of your comment to supply to those of my contacts who have TDS, only get their news from Oz ABC, and are cheerful about what is happening, as well as those who are slowly slowly coming to their senses, and are starting to realise that so much these days is a “False Flag” exercise. Patebit tum quod latuit. [Mark 4:22 Luke 8:17]
20
Truth will out. Certainly requires faith and scriptural reference for support but plenty of truths don’t; simply look at the history of decarbonization a simple untruth which is ramping up and funnily enough is a main article of the Biden-Sanders pact. Given unlimited time truth may well out through the operation of some undiscovered cosmic law but truth now requires hard work.
00
It’s too hard to say what’s going on. Voter fraud is certainly occurring but the extent is unknown. What should be done? A total recount of all votes in states where the votes for either side are within a certain percentage, and do it AFTER they have been properly checked and validated?
130
Mail in votes, from living people who are registered to vote in that state, could be signed by anyone — does anyone really check the signatures? I imagine that would require a huge number of handwriting experts, working in many states. for many months. Won’t happen.
20
Worse, if people are stealing ballots from post boxes and steaming them open or tossing away bags of likely Rep votes, who would know?
Can this election ever result in a solution both sides would respect? Ans — only if it is redone, and with strict enforced rules and observers.
100
“any you thought elecctions”
15
Yes, thanks. Gee Aye. Fixed (finally).
10
Eight weeks to rescue US democracy. If Trump does not fold then Republican States might refuse to recognise Biden as President. 1861 again?
90
“If Trump does not fold then Republican States might refuse to recognise Biden as President.”
I doubt that would happen but I suppose its possible. If things stay the way they are right now and Biden wins, the Republicans will have control of the Senate and have gained seats in the House (but not a majority) so would be able to block legislation they disagree with but Biden would be able to do some things by Executive Order…What’s an executive order?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUDSeb2zHQ0
40
Eight weeks? No. Isn’t the House able to choose a president if they have sorted this by Jan 2? That’s what Nancy said.
20
President Trump would have won this election quite easily had this media collusion with the Democrats was absolute.
They used this Pandemic illegally to change the voting rules all along pushing that no mater what President Trump did was bad.
There is more than enough evidence for massive amounts of fraud in many areas in this election.
President Trump should stay in office until all this voter fraud has been cleaned up by the courts.
100
ZeroHedge has an article that points out a MASSIVE disparity between Demoratic senate votes vs electoral collage votes in the swing states. In these states, Biden has significantly (enough to tip the electoral collage result) more votes than the total for the corresponding Democratic senate nominees. In EVERY other state, AND for Trump, the total for senate and electoral collage votes correspond very tightly as expected.
I guess the Democrats are finding it difficult to rig more than one of the electoral results so they’ve gone for the President
110
“college” not “collage”
40
Not proof but this statistical analysis does suggest that “casting down the ticket” was potentially overlooked by these fraudsters, leading to unprecedented voter turn-out in swing states given the scale of Trump’s election day victory of in-person votes:
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/why-does-biden-have-so-many-more-votes-democrat-senators-swing-states
80
After accounting for third parties, a large number of voters for President who didn’t vote for any Senate candidate is definitely suspicious. I suspect a similar analysis of House races will be even more revealing showing differences between red and blue counties in the same state. Voter fraud seems to be administered locally, although Biden did admit he had the biggest voter fraud organization ever …
With all the close and uncalled House races, the Republicans even have an outside chance of taking the House and at the very least will pick up several more seats. Just the fact that the House gained Republican seats while Trump didn’t win in a land slide is suspicious.
60
America could be fixed if they imported all Aussie conservatives and exchanged them with American Leftists who would be sent to Australia.
America would get the hard workers and independent thinkers she needs.
Australia would get the Leftists and their endless demands for “free stuff” and Nanny State laws that a majority of the Australian Sheeple demand and the Government is happy to provide.
Win-win.
80
Cool. Although most australians will eventually tire of their whining and them asking for EV charging startions to be built, and tell them to shut up….
70
If all conservatives left Australia the only ones left would be the Leftist Aussies who enjoy whinging and whining and demanding free EV charging stations and unreliable energy. The remainders after the conservatives left would not mind the whinging and whining of imported Leftists. Everybody left in Australia could endlessly complain until the country inevitably collapses in a socialist utopia.

“Our” ABC were at it again, last night, interviewing Democrats and RINOs (eg John Bolton) to disparage Trump.
The Democrats were all primed by Leigh Sales to discredit the “archaic” Electoral College system as “unrepresentative” for “democracy” using the popular vote differential to justify this.
Bolton, to his credit, pointed out the leftward shift of the Democrats has increased violence in the states with Democratic governors which would have helped the turnout for Trump. Classic case of the broken clock, I guess.

If they did they were not so effective because the Reps still hold the Senate and they are gaining seats in the House.

The little red wagon in Detroit was carrying batteries for video cameras. Tonight the cameraman, who brought them in on the red wagon, was on the local Detroit news show that employs him, explaining what he was carrying. I believe him.
On the Tucker Carlson show tonight, a Republican ballot counting watcher in Philadelphia complained that Republicans were 30 feet away from the nearest ballot counting desk, and over 100 feet from the farthest desk. He said the distances were suddenly shortened to about 15 feet from the nearest desk after Corey Lewandowski showed up to complain ( a judge had ordered a 6 feet distance for watchers (for COVID I assume) and I don’t think he meant six feet from the nearest desk, and 106 feet from the farthest desk).
40
Good to hear about the cameraman at least. Thanks.
40
The mailing of ballots to all names and addresses was foolish.
Problems were easily foreseen. Only about ½ dozen states have systems in-place to do this. They are not exactly the same, except in being complicated (under the surface).
Washington State started 40 years ago putting a system of mail-out information, and ballots in place. After lots of learning and fixing, the State went to a nearly-all mail-out system 11 years ago. Rather than mail the ballot back, we drop it in a box in front of the County Court House.
About One Million folks in the State have never seen a polling place.

We shouldn’t be surprised at this vote rigging after all, the left have thrown the kitchen sink at Trump for the last four years, why would the election be any different?
He probably should have expected it. The democrats have used covid so well, to hide their corruption.
Just watching the votes reduce makes me feel sick . Lets have a fresh election!

If Trump loses this fraudulent election do you think he’ll be too old to run in 2024? He’d then be 78 at the start and 82 by the end of the first term. He would be ineligible for a second term after that because there is a lifetime limit of two terms, not just two consecutive terms.

The Internet said that when I checked at 11.30 am today, Nevada had 99% of votes counted and Trump eas catching up. I checked my notes, to find Vevada had 67% of votes counted way back at 1800 hrs 4 Nov.
Just now checked again and at 2.40 pm, the same Internet source says 84% of votes have been counted.
Is this a way to make room for more imaginary votes?

No. Presentation on vote web sites not the actual data sitting with electoral officials. If there is a problem with the actual data there are people from both sides and neutrals checking. I’ve not heard a single scrutineer question the numbers.

Looking at the numbers of President vs Senate votes, and seeing the difference between the 2 camps can indeed be quite large. Michigan, and Texas especially. Michigan has X 9 more Dems not voting under the card, than Reps, in Texas it’s X 5. Oregon is nearly X 3,Arizona X 1. Minnesota the difference is 60% higher with Biden supporters, Illinois about 25%, New Jersey it’s about 60%, Virginia about 90%, North Carolina 10%.
One possible reason for some of the discrepancies would be a lot of people just voting anti Trump, who have zero interest in politics?

Really? How about the idea that the people actually have (I know that this is a bit far-fetched)….COMMON SENSE? I mean, at least some voters know the difference between voting for a President and for a Senator. Seems to me that some people in this website think that ALL US voters are dumb. Sorry to disabuse you, but that is not true

I vote and volunteer Libertarian. The Dems turned against energy when Green spoiler votes defeated them in 2000. In 2016 Libertarians covered the gap in the popular vote and shifted 109 electoral votes in 13 states. Dems promptly removed all “shoot the hippies and blacks over hemp”language and won. The Republicans kept their “bully pregnant women” and “police to murder potheads” language and lost the way they did in 1932 instead of legalizing beer. The nicest thing about being Libertarian is the mirthful shiver of schadenfreude no matter which half of the looter kleptocracy gets knifed. The election is close because they are nearly identical anyway. The key thing is that LP spoiler clout forces the Kleptocracy to ease up on coercion.
