The Upper Class Swamp has been labeling any conjecture they don’t like as Qanon (even if it isn’t connected to it) which buries it all as dangerous conspiracy theorizing. This weekend the countercry “BlueAnon” took off on Twitter and in the Urban Dictionary — mocking the conspiracy theories of the left.
You might suffer from BlueAnon if you think the CPAC stage was really a NAZI insignia signal, put there as a secret code; or you think the Capitol Hill rioters were really trying to overturn the most powerful government in the world without any guns at all, and of course, if you think all climate skeptics are secretly paid by Big Oil.
BlueAnon was registered on the UrbanDictionary:
The Upper Class Swamp keep telling us what they are afraid of: Being laughed at
Since the Tech-Giants want BlueAnon banned, obviously it’s in the free world’s interest to use it and some are resubmitting it to UrbanDictionary again and again…
Spread the word.
Candace Owens says:
If you believe:
-DC is under military occupation because there are non-stop threats from Trump supporters.
-Joe Biden is the most popular American President of all time.
-Russia, Russia, Russia
You might be #BlueAnon
@MoreBooks4All is a critic:
There’s no such thing as blueanon. There is however, the ridiculous QAnon conspiracy theory that has taken over your political side. Deal with it and stop making up ridiculous nonsense.
To which, James Lindsay, super-antiracist replies, in fluent Qanon:
Denial of BlueAnon is the heartbeat of BlueAnon.
The joke thread and all that creative talent, is still missing. If anyone finds the “epic” thread copy, please post a link here. I searched google cache within an hour or two and the cache had already been cleansed.
For the record: The word has been around for a while. There was BlueAnon discussion on Twitter on Feb 3.
UrbanDictionary are not offering any explanation for losing the term. It’s not like it’s obscene or unused. They still allow Republic**ts.
There is a Twitter hastag #BlueAnon. As long as that annoys Twitter, keep using it.
Here is an interesting article on the creation of the EURO dollar and why it is finished.
https://www.howestreet.com/2021/03/is-europe-finished/
The creator of the EURO imposed it on Germany as he knew a referendum would fail.
It never went through the German parliament, just imposed on the German citizens.
Technically, it is not legal tender…
Now we know why our politicians impose laws and policies that they know would fail in a referendum.
And got rid of referendums all together.
This might help understand why we no longer have choices.

A long list apparently, including all climate alarmists, justice warriors, big tech companies, Democrats, progressives, and more, too numerous to mention.

So called ‘Hate Speech’ laws are passed with the promise that only the very worst of vile threats will be subject to those laws. That sounds reasonable so the laws are passed. However, courts often use the term “That which a reasonable person would find offensive or threatening” to determine guilt. And that’s where the problem starts.
It’s because mischief makers in the media declare all manner of common terms and expressions as hate speech. It doesn’t matter that 99% of the population aren’t offended because the media creates the impression that 99% ARE offended. The courts, like our political leaders, are prone to believe what the media presents to them.
Before you know it, a tiny handful of activists have seized control of how a law is actually interpreted.

As the Democrats and Globalist Elite would say in private “The Truth is Dead, Long Live BlueAnon“.

Aloha! I grew up living under a military junta in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Venezuela is still a junta but I never expected to see that same junta mentality and occupation in Washington DC! If I didn’t know better Pelosi’s palace looks a lot like Maduro’s but Pelosi has been in power longer than Maduro or even Castro!
This will be how Nancy and Biden will have to walk around the streets of Washington DC like Maduro does in Caracas!
220
Pelosi is now the dictator in chief. Biden is her useful idiot while Harris is her heir apparent.
What Biden shares with Maduro is that both rose to power in a close and likely fraudulent election after fooling many by making promises they had no intent or ability to honor.

Sense of humour or whatever, -I am now just sooo confused.com We’ve had Green this that & t’other. Blue This that and t’other ….. what am I supposed to make of it all: I was brought up with Blaupunkt radios, Bluespot Tools, Ad-blue, Blue-tec engines or vehicle range – all meaning ? and some other vehicle associated blue terms ….
So in other words so far, in my book, it’s all fake news then?
30
The first rule of BlueAnon is not to talk about BlueAnon.
150
The mocking of BlueAnon has been the cornerstone of the script of programs such as ‘Outsiders’ on Sky in Australia. Rowan Dean has done the ‘Ice Age Watch’ and the whole team piles onto ‘HyperBowl’. The classic line that really gets under BlueAnon skin is ‘we watched Insiders (the ABC’s one sided Sunday smear session) so you did not have to’.
Jimmy Rees currently dining out on the ridiculous border closures.
Whoever this is really has fun with the ‘simulation’ at the Capitol.
‘Computing Forever’ has gone after the empty hospitals and the over-stretched ‘dancing nurses‘.
Alltheworldsastage mocks the scripted hospital scenes.
Far and away the best stand up comedian to mock BlueAnon had so much material he could stage a hour long show ‘off the cuff’. He was so successful he went on the road even during the Panicdemic and drew massive crowds.
That was of course Donald J Trump.
The question is when will the establishment comedians break from cover and start to explore the rich vein of material that flows through BlueAnon’s oxygen deprived brain.

Conspiracy theories are the bread and butter of politics. If one side gets to ban conspiracy “theories” of its opposition, we unfortunately know who’s winning.
And don’t forget to see my global greening CORRECTION:

Don’t expect the media to correct its confusion of Q and QAnon. They’re not the same thing.
Oh, and I can tell you that most Spaniards and Russians also believe THEIR government is filled with demonic pedocrats. So Q in unoriginal.
I am half Catalan and half Russian, in case you wanted to know.

If politics was science, it would be conspiracy hypotheses and the only ones effectively banned would be those that are objectively falsified.
Shouldn’t that be the case anyway?

Blueanon is still in the urban dictionary

Those weapons were in a locked vehicle not at the riots. Their is quite a bit of difference to the implication that rioters were carrying weapons.

A comment in yesterday’s thread stated “call us far right but what draws us here is not shared politics but a shared view of science and of those pushing anti-science.”
If this thread is a “shared view of science” the science part escapes me.
216
Are you somehow being forced to read this blog against your will or is agitation your motivation?
81
“Are you somehow being forced to read this blog against your will or is agitation your motivation?”
Neither. My comment is purely factual no more no less. The science part does escape me as does your question Are factual comments forbidden here? Or just regarded as a form of agitation?
15
Ian, if you are unelected expert, then your science is of a lower value than that of an ex-used furniture salesman
25
Ian, I think its very forthright of you to accept your ignorance. If you read with patience the science may not escape you as often in the future as it does now and in the past.
71
“Ian, I think its very forthright of you to accept your ignorance. If you read with patience the science may not escape you as often in the future as it does now and in the past.”
I think I was OK at science as I got a laboratory based PhD looking at how steroids act on breast and prostate cells from UWA, supervised PhD and Honours students, published in the peer reviewed scientific literature and lectured in biochemistry, endocrinology and molecular biology. Seemed to do all right. But thanks for your advice you are most kind.
24
The past is a different country. They do things differently there.
Once upon a time, scientists were appointed on science expertise and aptitude. They worked in ‘science’.
Today appointments are made on diversity, inclusion and equality. The work is in “The Science”.
20
Good morning Ian,
Q sent me…
Just to clarify something for you;
“the science part” that you’re missing is that every single “peer-reviewed paper” supporting the AGW lie, depends SOLELY on alarmist computer model extrapolations as “evidence of AGW”.
Human-caused climate change by CO2 emissions is a political, and criminal LIE.
I hope you will soon wake up.
The goal of the Qanons of the world, like me, is to work towards peace for all people on the earth.
WWG1WGA.

A couple of months ago there was a comment by the current “mod”, AD, which gave some insight into the operation of the blog.
The picture I got was that a substantial number of would-be activists were always trying to intrude on the blog and mess it up.
The blocking of this group seemed to be a large part of the mod’s task.
There are two PhDs who post regularly on the blog and have majors in Biology and Koalas respectively.
Their areas of expertise unfortunately don’t give them any more insight skills than the average Journalist: and it shows in their comments here.
Knowing now that they have surely been allowed to be here as “special exhibits” of Australia’s BlueAnon effect makes me concerned about the blog’s ethics.
Should they be used like this to expose the BlueAnon effect when they constantly hold themselves out to ridicule through their uninformed and childish approach to relevant facts?
It makes me feel guilty to see that they have been encouraged to hold themselves out to ridicule like this.
KK
71
If people say dumb things then they deserve to be ridiculed.
60
‘ … uninformed and childish approach to relevant facts?’
We develop a bias over many years and its hard to shake off. Still, with patience and perseverance even the most brainwashed zealots can be cleansed of ignorance.
20
Kalm Keith. Good blogs, such as this one, publish comments that don’t always or perhaps even never, support the majority view. That is an excellent way to operate as it prevents the blog from becoming an echo chamber where everyone agrees with everyone else which is what has happened with the comments columns of the News Corps masthead newspaper.
34
Ian,
I suspect that your PhD was well deserved but you seem to have missed my point.
Perhaps if I ask you a question:
what would you think of someone from the Language/Ancient History department who gave you a dressing down on what they perceived to be errors in your biology thesis?
Is it likely that someone who has expertise in Sanskrit can assume competence to the same level in Biochemistry?
KK
30
“what would you think of someone from the Language/Ancient History department who gave you a dressing down on what they perceived to be errors in your biology thesis?
“As my PhD wasn’t in Biology but in Biochemistry and Molecular biology I can’t really say but that is just nit picking. I wouldn’t be too worried as I could address their comments and explain why I believed their perception to be incorrect.
But you make a good point. To follow it up.
How many commenters on this blog are climate scientists? Very few indeed I suspect. But they have no hesitation in giving climate scientists a dressing down on what they perceive to be errors in their reports and publications.
Is it likely that someone who has expertise in accountancy can assume competence to the same level in climate science?
17
question 1. How many climate scientists, few if any. ..a field akin to astrohomeopathology.
question 2. validity here of expertise in accountancy. Useful in debunking myth of- renewable energy costs are dropping fast.
20
“As my PhD wasn’t in Biology but in Biochemistry and Molecular biology I can’t really say “”
What?
I’m sorry to hear that, as that statement is the perfect illustration of what I said earlier.
“Biological chemistry and Molecular biology” aren’t biology?
That pronouncement from the UWA is astounding.
Analysis of the CAGW “superscience” is unlikely to eventuate with that level of skill.
KK
00
Fair Point KK. You are quite correct. I was being far too selective as Biochemistry and Molecular Biology are individual subjects encompassed by the overall term Biology,
00
Phew… the clue is in the word that comes after molecular.
I too am a biologist of some sort too if you think popgen and phylogenetics are also biology.
00
“Are you somehow being forced to read this blog against your will or is agitation your motivation?”
Neither. My comment was purely factual. Surely that is permissible. Isn’t it?
26
Adjusted comment below was posted before I saw this.
00
The blog was on track through the drought, bushfires and pandemic, but then went off the track with a loss of credibility. Nevertheless it has been very enlightening.
Bring back climate science 101, global cooling has begun.
27
Interestingly although we experienced a cool summer, For the first time since 2012, Australia just had a cooler-than-average summer based on daytime heat. It was also a fairly rainy season, with the country registering its wettest summer in four years, down to La Nina, with the The national mean temperature for summer was slightly above average (monash Uni analysis)
The point is el gordo, that even a cool summer was above the normal average. so much for a cooling trend
26
opps – it was the average minimums which pushed up the national mean temperature, even though the average daytime max was cooler than average – too efficient in the cut and paste for the longer article
15
No worries, La Nina causes a drop in world temperatures, but then the thermostat triggers El Nino to correct the system.
Going forward the PDO should drift back to negative and El Nino won’t turn up for quite a few years and world temperatures will remain flat.
31
and yet, if you remove el nino years from the past, the trend is still up. Are you claiming cooling or no heating?
24
Its like John Cook’s escalator, a few more years of neutral ENSO should produce a continuation of this second hiatus, a step change on the down escalator.
21
I remember many stinkin’ hot summers dating way back.
I don’t believe BoM homologated data but obviously you do.
21
Did you experience these in your well insulated aircondtioned house or while travelling in your AC car on the way to the mall?
27
You have asked this before, it is offensive. I do NOT live in an airconditioned environment.
61
Sorry.
12
We had ten years in Darwin in a non-aircon house – fortunately it was designed well, with floor-to-ceiling louvres basically all round, wide eaves, low-mass cladding, and lots of trees to keep the sun away.
We also had big tropical ceiling fans that rotated very slowly 24/7 … we coped (but it wasn’t always comfortable).
MsTT even taught in a primary school without aircon for the first three years … by any afternoon during the build-up (Oct-Dec) the kids were half-crazy and troppo by lunch-time.
13
The blog was on track through the drought, bushfires and pandemic, but then went off the track with a loss of credibility. Nevertheless it has been very enlightening.
Bring back climate science 101, global cooling has begun.
I’m with you on that
14
El Gordo,
The entire point of this excellent blog is to expose the fact that AWG is a political, and criminal LIE.
There is absolutely ZERO evidence for AGW that doesn’t rely solely on alarmist predictions from computer models.
The entire lie is being produced and directed by the globalist marxist fascists at the UN IPCC.
Solar panels cannot exist without fossil fuels.
YOU, el gordo, have been deceived.
21
You quoted me. You don’t share OUR view of science ergo you are a science denier.
21
“You quoted me. You don’t share OUR view of science ergo you are a science denier”.
If that is the criterion then so was Galileo
13
So you are on a par with Galileo intellectually. Thanks for letting us know. BTW it is thou who is toeing the party line, it is we who are the sceptics ergo I am closer to the Galileo model than you.
Your side has called us sceptics “deniers”, with deliberate Nazzi connotations, for over a decade. Don’t you like the term?
61
“So you are on a par with Galileo intellectually. ”
Geez Hanrahan your comprehension ain’t the best. You write “You don’t share OUR view of science ergo you are a science denier”.” I respond “If that is the criterion then so was Galileo”
You then respond “So you are on a par with Galileo intellectually”
No Hanrahan I’m not saying I’m on a par with Galileo. I’m saying Galileo wastried for not sharing “OUR view of science” of his day and was then forced to recant his view that the earth travelled round the sun.
12
Not Voltaire.
Still a good idea, though.
10
Yeah well I agree … methinks the “blue anon” retort is pretty lame, although at one level it is sort of funny.
The problem is not that the Republican Party has been taken over by the QAnon cultists (not yet at least – although there are a couple of nut-fudge elected ones) – no, the Republicans are worried that rejecting QAnon outright might lead to political losses in many a close seat.
This is worse in some ways … it reflects (a) cowardice in the face of certified lunatics, and (b) a lack of decent programs and policies to attract reasonable voters.
Anyway, when anyone writes “blue anon” at me, I know I’ve had a win in the debate. Very weak stuff, and it’ll fade fairly readily.
And what happened to the much predicted and publicised Second Inauguration of President Trump on 4 March? Someone somewhere owes me a beer, I seem to recall.
00
“Very weak stuff, and it’ll fade fairly readily.”
And so sayth the anonymous Tilba. No name and no reasons. It’s just your Christmas wish list eh?
Google and the Urban Dictionary didn’t think it was going to fade and sounded lame.
20
LOL. My name is Ian, but there is already an Ian and also Another Ian … I suppose I could be I3!
Perhaps the anti-Q with brain cells will adopt “blue anon” as a badge of rationality and good common sense – maybe we will!
00
Tilba Tilba,
I’m a very proud Qanon digital soldier.
I can help you understand what Q and Qanon is all about, if you’re interested?
11
I would suggest you seek medical help as soon as it is convenient!
My niece-in-law has gone from a sensible germ-savvy mother – her two youngish boys have had all the shots required – to a complete anti-Covid vaxxer. It’s like the Invasion of the Body Snatchers. She doesn’t say “Hi” any more – she asked whether you’re going to have the vax. The whole family thinks she has gone off the deep end.
The anti-vax cult has a lot to answer for, it seems to me.
11
“The whole family thinks she has gone off the deep end.”
She must be wrong then.
00
Are you seriously claiming that avoiding the Covid-vax is a good ting? The mind really does boggle!
11
G’day Tilba Tilba,
Thanks for your reply.
Hey, lemme ask you;
1. Which massive pharmaceutical corporation will you trust to be injected by?
2. Would you like it if the vaccine were made compulsory? By law of government?
3. Do you think we need a vaccine for a virus that already has a 98% survival rate?
(The governments of the world want to inject the entire world, by the way… all the same time.)
4. Do you understand that the Antibacterial Handwash you use is Anti-Bacteria, and not anti-virus?
I’ll finish by mentioning to you that people who are against being vaccinated for a viral pandemic that doesn’t make logical sense, are NOT against the science of vaccination.
We are against the CORRUPTION of that science.
I sincerely hope you can understand that concept.
I look forward to your polite, reasoned reply.
Cheers.
10
Oh, and also, if I may…
Who makes hundreds of billions of dollars out of the global vaccination of billions of people?
If the vaccine if “free” for you, who do you think pays for it and where does all that money go?
Does any of this strike you as fishy?
Are you aware of the term “Military Industrial Complex” and what it implies?
I would ask you to please consider the concept: The Medical Industrial Complex.
20
Urban dictionary has ‘blue anon’ when I just looked
