There’s been lots of talk in the media etc regarding the efficacy of the individual vaccines. I note the author of this piece has done the same. Comparing one vaccine’s efficacy to another’s is not scientifically valid unless all those vaccines were in the same study at the same time. Which they weren’t- each company (Pfizer, Moderna, AZ, J&J) all completed their own individual trials. So totally different test groups, countries and timing. AZ vaccine is commonly regarded as having the lowest “reported” efficacy. But could the AZ trial have been better conducted than the other companies vs maybe a higher infectious group? Hence, the lower reported efficacy. Overall, there’s no doubt the COVID vaccine development has been rushed, particularly when you consider mRNA technology has never been fully safety tested. Not even animal trials. It’s all one big experiment with too many uncontrolled variables to make any real scientific sense.

Back in the late 1960s when I was doing basic training for the RAAF, one of the subjects was NBC. (Nuclear Biological and Chemical Warfare) Now, while we were schooled on all of them, the basic ‘end result’ was bend over and kiss your @r$e goodbye.
However, the N part and the C part were discussed as lose lose for absolutely everyone, no matter which side (momentarily) claimed victory, and here MAD came into play, Mutually Assured Destruction.
The one we discussed most was that Biological Warfare, and hey, think about it for a minute. We were being taught this in the late 60s, now more than 50 years ago.
This was not ballparking, but rational military thinking at the time, and something they schooled all members of the Military about during basic training. The perceived ‘advantage’ of Biological Warfare was the aspect of nothing being destroyed. The instigators of something like this were logically thought to have an antidote, or that it would be devastating at the outset, and then decay in quick time. All the umm, ‘winners’ of this form of warfare had to do was to move in, clean up all the dead bodies, and take over without a shot being fired in anger.
You learned all this ‘stuff’, and then had to sit for, and pass, an exam at the end of this particular subject, well each of the individual subjects during the course leading up to the final overall exam at the end of basic training.
But information like this stayed with me (well, all of us really, I suspect) not just during my RAAF career, but all my life.
At the start of this whole Coronavirus thing, I thought to myself (very privately mind you) ….. “I wonder!”

1. Rapid demographic decline – ageing, no immigration, low birth rates and huge disparity between males & females around 20-45 years of age.

China has had a very severe drought in the north which has wiped out the rice and wheat. Weeks of massive rain caused the Yangtze River to break its banks and wipe out millions of acres of prime farmland. The wall of the three gorges dam which sits on massive concrete rocks are not embedded into the bed rock has moved, many suspect the wall will break at the next major flood. Thousands of small villages have been flooded out and many people have disappeared. Others drowned in their beds, because the authorities released water from the three gorges dam in the middle of the night without any warnings. In 2019 four hundred million pigs died due to swine flu. France gave them more pigs for breeding stock and Germany now provides them with some meat. The Chinese have begun warning people to not waste food.

Trump was the one that very quickly had the Pharmaceutical companies into developing vaccines and lifted the legal liabilities on usage once they came to fruition. However, Trump was also notable for promoting therapeutics, particularly hydroxychloroquine, for which he received a huge media orchestrated walloping. He was obviously unacquainted with what seems probable that restrictions were placed in contracts that forbids the promotion of any therapeutic treatment at all.
So who signed off on those contracts with such profound restrictions if the President himself (who was in the thick of getting vaccines done) was, judging from his utterances, unaware of those limitations. It doesn’t make sense to believe Trump would be so open with promoting therapeutics at the same time the vaccines were being developed under such limitations. The logical inference then would be that American lives were treated as expendable to COVID-19 by total refusal to allow the use of therapeutics that were found effective outside of America. Who needs to explain the ‘understanding’ or the limitations?
If one follows the logic, then one must also ask why Australia is following the same path against therapeutics, even when so many people are intent on not taking the vaccine. Are Australian lives also expendable? The question is particularly vital to be answered because the so called vaccines are apparently anything but, where they ameliorate viral illness but don’t stop getting the disease. This is the bottom line of this blog article. A few barbed questions need to be pointed against Mr Hunt and the PM, because, if vaccines do lead to the selecting out of more strongly pathogenic strains, just what is their answer to be in treating those strains when the vaccine doesn’t protect while they appear to actively shun alternate therapies that for some reason work overseas but not here nor in the USA.

The most likely scenario in the Seychelles, as I said when I cited it, is that the Chinese vaccine was next to useless.
Your belief that antivirals can stop the epidemic dead is wishful thinking – you would have to treat the entire population or have a highly efficient track/trace/isolate/treat system in place which is clearly nonsense in places like India (or even the UK!).
I’m sure antivirals could help limit a local outbreak, just as total quarantine can limit a local outbreak – but with a (country)wide-area outbreak it’s a completely different matter.
It’s the same reason that lockdowns were useless in the UK but effective to an extent in NZ etc. Timing and horses for courses.

The Prof’s account of things is accurate. The liberal west has been terrible at managing covid, which caused massive economical damage and general mayhem, and division of their societies.
I don’t care if you think covid is dangerous or not, what worries me is what hope do we have if a serious bio weapon is unleashed ? China would handle it, but we would run around debating moralities.
Of course the Chinese have noticed this. People like the Prof give us insights like these regularly. They know what matters, power, and production.

What is interesting is this summary explains how fake ‘scientific’ studies that are being done by ‘scientists’ who are openly receiving funds from big pharma, can be designed to stop/block the public and governments finding out that ivermectin is an effective treatment to prevent and treat covid.
Fake studies select healthy people who have covid and then ‘treat’ the healthy people with ivermectin.
The problem is: People who are Vit. D normal are almost immune/protected from getting covid.
So if people are Vit D normal ….. Ivermectin cannot do better than a Vit D optimized, body’s full out optimized attack on covid.
If on the other hand, the subjects were all Vit. D deficient (Vit D deficient people are the cohort who have type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, immune problems, they are overweight, and they are the first to go to nursing homes as they age), Ivermectin would have save lives because the Vit D people’s immune response/cell response does not function optimally. Which explains why there is a small group of people who die from covid and/or have serious side effects from gettig covid.
The other problem is optimum dosage and time to reach biological optimum blood levels of the drug.
The new injectable version of ivermectin is eight times more bio-effective than taking ivermectin via tablets and virus count reduction starts in 15 minutes for injection, versus roughly 6 hours for tablets. The injectable ivermectin has less side effects because less drug be used to achieve higher bio effectiveness than tablets.

Finally, ivermectin also binds to the SARS-CoV-2 RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), thereby inhibiting viral replication.30

The thing is that if Vit D is one of the drivers of negative results in this why not provide Vit D upon admission?
Well they already tested this back in April 2020 with massive benefits shown on a small sample size in a RCT done in Spain. Even if Ivermectin is found to be great we just know the governments will refuse to bring in these treatments to save people and thus show it is no longer a pandemic with incapacitation and death are no longer a major issue ….

‘…..it’s a reminder that vaccines aren’t going to easily save us from a mutating pandemic which is a cluster spreading disease from a family of viruses that don’t seem to create lasting immunity…’. I was under the understanding that these covid vaccines, like any vaccine are just a buffer against the severity of infection. Sadly we have political beliefs that it is a magic bullet and the whole populations freedom of movement will be held to ransom unless they acquiesce to political pressure. I’m no anti-vaxxer, we’ve made major inroads into disease eradication, but this can’t be the covid normal. This is politics, not science.
