Funny I was taking the mickey out of Yoko,s lyrics with Imagine yesterday.
Ot- Patrick King Alberta law case- seems Alberta now treats cov19 as a flu, with all restrictions/mandates lifted…wtf.

Apparently, the Alberta government went to court and got the ass handed to them in the lawsuit.

Excess mortality is the right metric because you do not take a test because the symptoms are so mild. Just like with flue. No cure is needed, natural immunity handles it.

Using number of tests as a denominator can be misleading because the sample is biased. It does matter who is tested. There are also problems with sparse data and judgements related to the numerator.

At least comments get through here, unlike many at the News Ltd sites – the Mods there have trouble understanding their own guidelines. Comments can remain in pending for days at a time, and the news cycle moves on and they lose their impact.

I posted this earlier today on an outdated thread as I had no other choice 🙁
Alberta, Canada has mandated that restrictions like isolating, contact tracing or masking be lifted. COVID-19 cases are to be treated like other respiratory viruses, such as the flu. Close contacts of people who test positive for COVID-19 are no longer legally required to isolate, nor will they be notified by contact tracers. As of August 16, people who test positive for COVID-19 won’t be required to isolate but it is strongly recommended. Testing will also be curtailed. By the end of August, only those with severe symptoms will be tested.

Some are saying the move is insane. I say it’s a sensible move in the right direction.

Alberta’s surprising end to COVID-19 pandemic rules is in line with the UCP brand

Painted as if it was planned for some time?
How much of their verbal diarrhoea is believable?
And how much is spin to cover their skanky A’s after the court whooping by a lowly commoner?

As per the bitchute Stew Peters interview with the guy where the Chief Medical Officer was unable to provide a sample of the virus under subpoena. Posted by clarence.t.

Lots of people here have been saying this, all we have is reports of researchers having sequenced the genome in January 2020 and subsequently but that’s analysis not substance.

I’d like to see the outcome should somebody subpoena our top health officials similarly; it looks like the way out of this mess.

Alberta has 76% of the population over 12yo vaccinated. The recent drop in daily Covid cases indicate they have achieved herd immunity. Now they will rely on the longer term efficacy of the vaccine.

Dude, haven’t you been paying attention???? I know you aren’t stupid because I read the stuff you post and you obviously have a higher level of education.

Over the last few weeks the various health authorities around the world have all stated that the EFFICACY of the “COVID Vaccine” wears out over a period of 6 months, and so it requires people to have BOOSTER shots.

I am not making this up. It is out there on the MSM and in hardcopy print.

So they cannot “rely of the long term efficacy” because there is NO LONG TERM EFFICACY!!!!

Rick, if enough people heard, “Now they will rely on the longer term efficacy of the vaccine“, then it makes sense that those who heard somewhere by at least two someone’s, “Now they will rely on the longer term efficacy of the vaccine” have reached Heard Immunity if some upstart proclaims something different.

This phenomena is best characterised. ….If Jones heard something from Brown, and then heard Smith say the same thing, then Jones is convinced what was heard is correct and could not be otherwise. Jones has a level of Heard Immunity, for example if Jones heard Phillips saying something different.

Lennon was reportedly a registered Republican, certainty a conservative when he was shot. With and without the arguably greater Paul McC, a genius.

Interesting that Lennon was a registered Republican when he was murdered. I know he had a ‘Green Card’ but I didn’t know he’d be allowed to register as a member of a U.S. political party.

In any case. I too am a huge fan of his work and The Beatles. The White Album was their masterpiece for me. That sound atmosphere!

The latest catchcry of the sicko globalists is :

“In 2030 you will own nothing…and be happy”

presumably this means the globalists have taken your stuff – which
makes them nothing more than common petty thieves.

So this is all about taking your property, and apparently forced poverty is wonderful.

    Im sorry….theft is theft.

    Idiots….

Also the globalists will turn us into robotic slaves with no free will. They are not even hiding it. The Great Reset includes that as one of their steps to the NWO. Better still is most people will want it because they will be desperately looking for a solution to the ever increasing pressures on life. The current lockdowns scam is just one example of how it will be achieved. Resistance is futile – well not really if one is awake and sees through the BS and lies pumped out by our politicians and big business.

“In 2030 you will own nothing…and be happy” – yes, this has me confused too. The term “you” when referring to they who will own nothing implies that some other group will own everything after you’ve paid for it.

      Great! Where do I sign?

Any signs of any increase in cases due to the huge anti-covid restrictions marches in capital cities ?

    40

    • #
      PeterS

A more pertinent question is are there any signs yet of an increase in cases due to vaccines? There is no doubt that so-called breakthrough cases, where a person gets infected despite being fully vaccinated, are on the rise. As far as I can tell the data released is not comprehensive enough to determine if the cause for the rise is simply because of an increase in vaccinated people or because the immune systems of those who have been vaccinated are being negatively impacted.

March in Sydney was 24 July when cases were around 140 per day. By end July, daily cases were running at 260 and it has bounced around that level since.
      https://data.nsw.gov.au/search/dataset/ds-nsw-ckan-c647a815-5eb7-4df6-8c88-f9c537a4f21e/details?q=

Without the current controls the hospital case load would be much higher than the current 271 in hospital; 53 in ICU and 23 on ventilators. The infection rate is still around 1; not under 1. That means it will go on like this until there are tighter controls or vaccinations afford herd immunity, which requires up around 80% of the population to be vaccinated or a combination of the two. The locations with the highest incidence of Covid have under 40% of over 15yo vaccinated. Hence a lot more work before they approach herd immunity. The North Shore has a vaccination rate above 50%.

perhaps the hospitals would be overrun, we heard that before, but the fact is our hospitals were already overrun. In QLD, we have had 1800 covid cases and 7 deaths (0.3%), in a given year there would normally be 200+ flu deaths, most of which would be in a hospital setting. cases? who knows, testing was something only done in a hospital setting. world data seems to show closer 1.3% death rate mainly from old people with other health problems of course. so lets take swedens numbers of 11% of population with confirmed cases (many more probably had it but didnt show symptoms), so double it for here. sweden had 15k deaths over the 1.5 years or so, so here would be 30k or less, so 20k per year. all cause deaths are 160k per year in australia and many of those 20k were hovering around the 160k group. i would say unexpected and younger deaths would be in the hundreds, much the same as a faulty experimental drug.

QLD hospitals were already over 100% capacity before covid, and this shows you where priority lies with the state government. there were and are people dying waiting for ambulances due to ramping. listening to an interview of one of the Toowoomba hospital (west of brisbane) heads talking about the governments plan for a quarantine site near the airport there, he was saying it is out of the question due to being at 128% capacity already. this is nothing out of the ordinary, the government ignored the problem because it could, and spent money on stupid pet projects like desalination plants and solar farms.

It would be unfair to blame only the Qld. government for incompetence. We in South Australia have ambulance ramping in hospitals, lack of beds etc. The Labor opposition is beating the State Government around the head over these failures, but part of the problem was that Labor in power built an extremely expensive new hospital with fewer beds than the one it replaced, and also closed down 2 smaller hospital (aiming to sell off the land).
I don’t think much of the current government but I remember the mess that Labor made, so I won’t be voting for them.

Rick, Gibraltar is the only country in the world which is 100% vaccinated, and the CDC just moved them to their “Very High Travel Risk” category.

One year ago the unvaccinated UK had over 50 percent fewer daily cases and 75 percent fewer daily deaths.

The vaccine is failed against the delta, and the vaccinated have just as high or higher of a viral load.

If you look at the lyrics of the original JL song, what he is describing is the life of early humans before civilisation. No possessions, no countries and no religions. I’m not sure he would have enjoyed that prehistoric life of “nada” compared to the high octane jet-set life of being a superstar in our modern times, albeit unfortunately cut short. Curiously, whilst he wrote about having “no possessions” in his perfect world, he had a net worth of $800 million at the time of his death.

Warning: This is something (possibly) alarming. It’s not for tiny minds or closed ones (esp. for EG — so he can feel very alarmed)
Read carefully and if you feel you are becoming alarmied, then stop reading at once lie down, and ensure your brain is turned off. For a while.

We are only 1.5 years into an approximately 30year Grand Solar Minimum … with a rather rapidly weakening planetary magnetic field as we also head into a Geomagnetic Excursion (this alone is alarming!).

A tiny CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) from our favourite star hit us right in the face. It created a Kp 5 geomagnetic storm. About 2 decades ago, we wouldn’t have noticed this tiny CME. None of the agencies (think NASA, NOAA et al) thought it was going to amount to anything …. but a Kp5 GM storm? I guess they wuz wrong.
Only Kp 5 and it bounced us around for a few hours … It’s getting exciting … ( Note: I’m not allowed to be alarmist )

Sorry Jo. There was no aurora visible from Perth. Nor from Auckland. This time. I’m guessing, but I think it’s getting closer.
    https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/auroral-activity/auroral-oval.html#ovation-2

(ovation 1 is for the aurora Borealis (north pole), ovation 2 is for the aurora australis, Southern Hemisphere.) The *unspeakable* search engines seem to think everyone wants to see the aurora borealis pages. I don’t, I don’t care about the g@#@#$&!ed aurora borealis pages, I specifically and especially want the aurora australis but the search engines took some convincing even though I used Aurora Australis as my search term …and was given pages and bloody pages for the aurora borealis! … unspeakable machines … How much more specific can I be? Do I have to add ‘South Pole’ and Antarctica to my search term?
    Grump.

from Aug 1, I’ve had great night-time visibility around midnight to dawn. It’s umm cold, yes, but the visibility to the South has been brilliant so far. Up to now, it’s been 10 10ths cloud so umm, I hope this continues …

Does my head in too. Doesn’t matter how specific I am I somehow get ‘popular’ unrelated or loosely related garbage, when using Google. Sometimes I need to use a computer that is not mine and that’s when I notice that any browser that uses google by default won’t do a straight objective search based on the words, phrases or questions I use. The thing that made Google rocket to the head of the pack when it first became a thing was that it returned by far the most USEFUL search links for whatever input you used. And that’s just not so now, and is very obviously getting much worse at performing specific searches. The returned links have become a watered-down politically-correct and socially-woke joke – i.e. more or less USELESS.
