To kick off thos thread, I have brought this forward from the depths of the “tipping point” thread….
……The latest hot topic for grid scale batteries… the Iron/Air battery
https://formenergy.com/technology/battery-technology/
Claim is $15/kWh, and commercial in 2023 ?
To me, it looks like BS, as the numbers do not stack up…
They claim high energy density ..200-300kWh in a unit the size of a washing m/c..
But, the say a 1MW facility would take uo about one acre of space ??…
That is about 80 times more space than a Tesla MegaPack battery. .
Also i believe that the process is only about 60% efficient on energy out vs energy in.?
Another RE scam tto harvest development grants and funding ?
I suspect this is a rehash of the existing “Redox” flow battery, which has been lurking around for a few years ?
60
The AMBRI liquid metal battery is in commercial testing phase:
https://ambri.com/technology/
No doubt a few years from being commercially available. It may get grid scale storage under USD100/kWh. Its footprint is reasonable with 1MW in a 10ft shipping container.
This battery requires no cell management system. It is fireproof. If the enclosure is damaged, the cells rapidly cool and solidify. Once solid they the are benign.
Round cycle efficiency is 80% – similar to lead/acid but there is no cell degradation related to cycling. They need to be cycled to stay warm because the losses keep them molten.
33
Considering that US grid scale storage is averaging around $1500/kWh that would be a great price! Hard to believe.
10
The phrase “Too good to be true”…springs to mind. !?
90
there’s a taxpayer born every minute.
80
That cost of USD1500/kWh is getting old now or includes high land values in the project.
The 300MW/450MWh battery in Geelong has a stated project cost of AUD160M – or AUD355/kWh = USD263/kWh.
https://reneweconomy.com.au/neoen-lands-160-million-in-cefc-finance-for-australias-biggest-battery/
Land was likely available free.
There may be other capital components such as government grants. I cannot find an actual cost for the project so it could be more than AUD160M. I would be surprised if that is the full cost.
I paid AUD2500 for a 5kWh lithium battery about 10 years ago – AUD500/kWh. The same capacity battery now available for AUD766 including transport or AUD153/kWh. So costs are down a long way in the last decade. Prices were stuck at the original price for quite a while but Tesla production appears to be driving prices down.
I doubt the Tesla batteries will have the cycle life of the large format cells I have.
Most residential properties on mainland Australia would save money by installing solar and battery if the installation was done efficiently. The missing link for a really neat economic system is a miniature gas fueled generator that could trickle charge the battery during the successive cloudy days that occur in coastal locations. I again had a day out in May this year pulling 2.5kWh/day from 3kW of panels and the 5kWh battery.
Once installed battery costs get under USD100/kWh, weather dependent generators are economic against fossil fuelled sources in low intensity grids like Australia. I think the new generation Tesla cells are close to that but other technologies could be even lower cost.
From a grid perspective, when the wholesale electricity price is negative, low round cycle efficiency becomes a bonus.
26
That’s like saying that the good thing about breaking a leg is that you get to sit down a lot more.
70
Rick,..
Tesla’s Megapack utility scale unit prices have been published.
https://electrek.co/2021/07/26/tesla-reveals-megapack-prices/
Basicly they are $1.25 m usd for each 3 MWh unit ( possible bulk discounts ?)
Which comes down to $550 Aud per kWh.
There is also a us$6500 annual maintenance charge.
That $280 is USd , which means Au$375 /kWh or Au$ 168.7 million for the 450 MW.
Musk insists that “factory door” cell cost is < us$100 /kWh, so the majority of the wholesale price is ancilliaries, controls, assembly , installation , etc
30
where can i buy this $766 landed au battery?

hmm, tricky advertising at that site. seems to me that 3.2v at 105Ah = 320Wh for $150USD, so for 5kWh would be 15.6 x $150 = $2433, so they seem a bit expensive. the 400Ah reference in the ad is a pack that the individual units would complete given a certain required voltage pack.
01
The AUD766 is for 16 cells rated at 105Ah each. That will average 52V under normal operation. I work my current 16 cell battery between 51 and 55V. So average is better than 52V to give 105Ah at 52V is 5.46kWh.
When I go into Aliexpress I automatically get AUD price and a small discount. You can select the currency.
My current cells were rated at 100Ah and I get that now after almost 10 years. The first full cycle test I did put out 110Ah. Not sure if the LittoKala will meet that. However I have some 4.8Ah LittoKala cans and they achieve their rating at 1A discharge.
00
Irrespective of the cost,….what they do not say clearly is that those are USED cells.
Read some of the comments… low capacity, puffed cells, etc.
Cheap maybe, but very risky !
10
ah, yes, I see. you can get them new (the same one discounted as well) for $180USD rrp of $290, so about $3000 aus for 5kWh at the same site listed as NEW.. who would have thought. what a minefield of deception! fits the renewable energy market quite well.
20
I interpret the meaning of the 1MW/acre as a 100MWh battery. It appears the design is based on a discharge rate of 100 hours or multiple days. They talk about pairing it with lithium in grid applications.
So, just my example, a battery that could sustain multi-day average of 10MW might have a 50MW lithium connected to a 1000MWh iron/air. That would require 10 acres; about 4ha.
Lead/Acid batteries are usually rated at the 10 hour rate. Work them harder than that and round cycle efficiency goes way down. By contrast, most lithium are rated at 2 hour or even shorter.
Iron is relatively low cost and abundant – good for the Australian economy. Air is relatively low cost as well. The prospect of a sun $20/kWh battery is not out of the question. Iron ore currently sells for around USD200/t and is 60% iron. It only costs $20/t to mine. Steel scrap currently going for USD450/t. The cells probably require high purity iron although the cells may act as metal purifiers and the contaminants just float up or sink?
The Ambri liquid metal cell purifies the metals through its operating life.
34
The Form FeO2 site doesnt quite make sence.
They state that each “cell” can store as much energy as a GM Volt battery pack (16kWh)..
And that each “washing m/c sized module” contains 10-20 of those cells ..
…..implying a module could store up to 320 kW !…….which would be impressive !
But , they then say that a 1MW facility is made up of “thousands” of those modules ?
…..again implying many hundreds of MWh of energy ??
If a battery is to be used as a back up power supply for bad weather situations, it will need to be able to supply several GW of power… with each GW apparently needing 1000 acres of these batteries …. WOW !
Either they have a terribly low discharge rate ( useless in effect) or they have screwed up their information release
40
It appears the battery is rated at 100 hour – that means a 16kWh cell has a power rating of just 160W – it is low power density chemistry. To get just 1kW requires 8 cells.
In Australia, millions of rooftops are dominating power generation through the middle of the day at certain times of the year. That means the investment in grid scale intermittent are battling to stay afloat. They cannot survive without grid storage and it makes sense to locate the storage near the rooftops. So there will eventually be hundred to millions of distributed batteries.
The main feature with a battery is that they are environmentally benign (assuming no fires) so environmental approvals are easy. Solar panels on roofs are reasonably benign as well. Both are much easier to expand than getting a coal mine started for example.
I doubt Australia will see a new coal fired power station – ever. Environmental hurdles too high.
18
Iron /Air cells generate Hydrogen during discharge,. So there is likely a considerable fire/explosion risk to manage for a large installation !
30
Environmental hurdles are susceptible to removal by the stroke of a pen.
40
But not for coal fired power stations in Australia. Hurdles have become brick walls.
10
Yep, ask the raptors.
00
imagine all the heating that could provide… when it catches on fire…
30
well metal-air batteries were considered in the 70s and really dumped in the 80s. in the 40 years since, i would expect there has been some development, but with little success or they would be competing with li-ion as we speak. these things are ‘when we see it’

sydney man in his 20s dies from covid
Is there something being left unsaid here?
The health authorities would like universal vaccination (including children) so this story is important. We are also told by the misinformers that the risk of a 20 year old dying of covid is very very small (unless there are serious co-morbidities).
The story is completely silent about co morbities and also the vaccination status of the poor young man. Yet at the end they mention the death of an 80 year old woman (WHO WAS UNVACCINATED).
https://au.news.yahoo.com/sydney-man-in-his-20s-dies-from-covid-015254360.html
I doubt that we will find out, one way or the other.

From Tuesday Open THread
EXCLUSIVE: Forklift driver, 27, who died in his own home after contracting Covid-19 was married just six weeks ago and felt ’90 per cent fine’ – as his heartbroken wife is rushed to hospital
. Aude Al-Askar collapsed in the shower and could not be revived on Tuesday
. The 27-year-old had been diagnosed with Covid almost two weeks earlier
. But his family say he had a heart condition and are not certain Covid killed him
But Mr Al-Askar’s cousin Khalid Thijeel told Daily Mail Australia that the family has a history of heart conditions, and they would be waiting for a Coroner to confirm his cause of death.
‘He woke up yesterday, he was feeling good, he had breakfast, called his family and then he had a shower about 4pm and that was it,’ Mr Thijeel said.
200
‘He had no coughing, nothing,’ Mr Thijeel said.
Paramedics who responded to the emergency reportedly confirmed that he suffered heart failure, whereas the hospital specified that Covid was a contributing factor in his death.
He received a positive Covid diagnosis less than two weeks ago and did not develop any symptoms until about a week into his infection.
Even then, family say he was ‘about 90 per cent fine’.
150
There are multiple known causes for sudden death from heart failure, ..
….but i do not recall hearing of a covid patient dieing “suddenly” with out previous serious symptoms..most whilst in ICU.
How can anyone, particularly. official authorities,..proclaim with confidence, “death from Covid “ in such abnormal circumstances..without a formal autopsy report ?
Even if Covid did play a part, it is obvious there must have been other factors at play for this to be such an unusual death compared to other Covid victims.
200
It was discussed in here during mid last year that COVID-19 was primarily a cardiovascular disease, that damages hearts lungs and other vascular components, and some can be permanently damaged and degraded. It was also widely reported at around the same time that symptomless cases were of COVID-19 were later found to have permanent damage to organs from it, particularly heart and lungs.
So it’s not a stretch to say the man’s life was probably terminated via cardio-vascular damage exacerbated by a COVID19 infection. What I think is not reasonable is to downplay this fact, that he’s in the prime of life, had COVID-19, and died while he had it. That seems more like the usual unreasonable abuse of skepticism and a lack of open inquiry and following of the facts to me.
50
“… that COVID-19 was primarily a cardiovascular disease…”
That just tells me that the hyper-inflated covid19 mortality records (16 times, by the US CDC’s own admission, of “only 6% due to covid alone”) were substantially due to non-covid heart disease. You are being willingly played…and by traitors.
After all this time (since 2008), of open lawlessness by the Insane Left and Complicit Right, you sound like a lost cause, not a sentient human being who values his most basic freedoms.

In Alberta, they couldnt prove COVID exists, poof…..good bye lockdowns…..
Game over.
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/international-news/canada/alberta-drops-covid-restrictions/?__cf_chl_jschl_tk__=pmd_337de7d4ff81a264f9dd5382eb9729ed4965e633-1628229670-0-gqNtZGzNAuKjcnBszQgi
“In Alberta, Canada, Patrick King represented himself in court after being fined $1200 dollars for protesting against the Covid restrictions. He issued a subpoena to the Provincial Health Minister for proof that the Covid-19 Virus exists.
“The government was UNABLE or UNWILLING to provide that proof and were therefore forced to admit that they had no such evidence.
20
The clue is in the headline
Contracted Covid and was in isolation at home. Meaning he had no treatment at all. This is criminal behaviour by the health authorities. Because he didn’t have symptoms, she’ll be right mate.
From all threads read before relating to cheap treatment. What could have prevented this death?
My sincere condolences to his family.
151
Hi Flok , This is Dr Jackie Stone , who works in Zimbabwe in less than ideal conditions at the mortality end of Covid.
An interesting point I found was that blood clots begin almost immediately and by the fourth day people feel fine, however they have only 80% oxygen saturation. She prescribes half a Dispirin a day to reduce blood clotting.
I have now added Aspirin to my emergency pack.

yes, if a person who died without vaccination we would be left in no uncertainty as to whether they were vaccinated or the 90-year old who died a day or so early who had only had ‘one dose’ which essentially means completely unvaccinated to these nasty pieces of work.
On marking people as ‘dying from covid’ the DarkHorse podcost recently mentioned a study done of the first 250 VAERS system deaths as often pro-vaxxers claim these will be full of false reports, that is true but not the way they think. What was found was that the CDC had claimed all 250 were claimed to have died FROM covid where only 4% of this 250 or just 11 had positive PCR tests for covid before death. All 250 had symptoms or things found at autopsy consistent with complications from vaccination.
140
Heres the thing…..I got basically told off by a relative for being “selfish” for refusing a vaccine thats clearly dangerous and doesnt work that well, and appears to actively allow the spread of covid itself.
Hmmm…..whats wrong with this picture?
Is it the brainwashed relatives, fed on a diet of 24×7 covid hysteria by the Marxist Media?
Or the independent ( sensibly ) unvaccinated thinker who prefers to stay alive?
Clearly, according to the bulk of the brainwashed population, its the independent ( sensibly ) unvaccinated thinker, because, you know, to a vaccinated ( and therefore protected from covid ) person , then clealry an unvaccinated person is dangerous….
Um……
*scratches head, shrugs, goes for a walk in the sun….*

I have no idea who these people are but this was a comment from the UK site the Daily Sceptic. They seem to suggest all sorts of inter relationships regarding covid and lockdowns in your country.
“Australia is in the green? Queensland is in full Lockdown as i write this but a close look should be made into the connections between the State Premier and the Cheif health officer, soon to be State governor and the entire fiasco .
Watch out guys: DID YOU ALL KNOW? …
Dr. Jeanette Young’s Husband is: Professor Graeme Nimmo …
Now Nimmo is the Director of the company ‘Queensland Pathology’ and also has interests in Genomic Sequencing. By a remarkable coincidence, Nimmo is also a Founding Member of a body called AGAR – who are affiliated with the Australian Society for Antimicrobials. Of which Professor Graeme Nimmo is a committee member – and of which Pfizer is a Corporate Sponsor.
Nimmo has served on the Advisory Board for Pfizer – and therefore the QLD Government’s current push for Pfizer Covid Vaccines is a blatant conflict of interest. The soon-to-be QLD Governor’s back pocket will no doubt be getting a filling.
Then we have other names like:
Thomas Gottleib & Geoff Coombs – who both belong to the same group that come up a few times throughout this message.
The next connection is the Australian Philanthropist and Billionaire couple Andrew & Nicola Forrest – who head-up the ‘Minderoo Foundation’. The Forrest’s also have direct ties to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Now who has hooked up with his ‘Contacts’ for the Australian Govt to source Millions of Testing Kits to come from BGI; the Beijing Genomics Institute, direct from China?
Guess who also has a Business relationship with them? !!!
Well, none other than Henry Palaszczuk – the Queensland Premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk’s, father and an ex Queensland Labor Party Minister – who founded a DNA storage company (a Trillion $$$ Industry) called GTA Foundation, and who held a conference on their strategy etc in Sept 2019 in China.
Henry Palaszczuk is also involved with another Chinese Company under the OTHER name that he uses: ‘Beileqi’.
BELEIQI: Well that would be the company who manufacture Monitoring & Electrical Equipment & Smart Grid Equipment – no doubt for for supply to the Queensland State Government’s power grid.
Now Henry Palaszczuk & Professor Graeme Nimmo (the new Governor’s husband) both have a common interest in Genomics.
Not only this, but BGI Australia (Yes: Beijing Genomics Institute – that CCP organisation) have their laboratory in the Brisbane suburb of Herston – the exact same location as Queensland Pathology, where Professor Graeme Nimmo works!! Dr Jeanette’s husband. This is also where the DNA data for all of the Covid PCR testing results is stored.
Australian DNA Data —> Beijing Genomics Institute – tied to the Chinese Communist Party —> Bioweapon research targeting a known DNA Group of Australian citizens. Depopulation Agenda. Just my (Rob Martin’s) assumption. Silly me.
Bill Gates is also a funding source for BGI Projects … Namely funding Covid 19 & Genomics projects.
Prof Nimmo / BGI / CCP / Minderoo Association / Twiggy Forrest (multi-billionaire).
Greg Hunt, the Federal Government Health Minister, recently held a meeting with the Minderoo Billionaire … Twiggy Forrest.
Something is clearly VERY ROTTEN in the State of Queensland – AND IN THE AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.”
110
Ponder this. If QLD let Covid spread it helps Pfizer because it scares more people into getting the vaccine. (See NSW)
I’m just pointing out they do appear to be working hard to stop it spreading. Is there any evidence they “allow” it to invade or are lax about borders?
I’m curious…
20
If the impose lockdowns that, plus threats and intimidation puts immense pressure on people to take the vaccine.
It’s what they are not doing, while instituting border lockdowns that is so egregious.
50
I heard on a radio report that he was not vaccinated. Which makes sense given his age group is typically not vaccinated due to priority for over 40’s.
60
I was woken up today by my radio alarm clock and it was set to 2GB. I will have to change the station as I refuse to listen to them given they have gone over to the dark side. Is that why Alan Jones left? Hmmm. Anyway, I heard the announcer, a pea brain, who admitted that it doesn’t matter what the cause of a person’s death is, be it from a heart attack or anything else. If that person has COVID then it is marked as death due to COVID. Such hypercritical nonsense on a radio station that used to stand for truth and now fully supports the lying politicians and health officials. I was a long timer listen to 2GB and gradually weaned myself off them ever since Alan Jones left them.
150
I am 100% with you on this.
Long time 2GB listener who now cannot understand their change.
Remember the ownership has changed and the long standing presenters have made their minds up about the new regime and its obvious guidelines.
I suspect the announcer that riled you was the 9-noon knowall who is especially overbearing in his comments.
70
Indeed. I can’t recall the exact time – is was either before or after 5:30am. The alarm was set to 5:15am.
20
Far more people die from car accidents. How come people are not forced to lockdown their cars and throw away their keys? The hypocrisy and exaggerated lies from our politicians and health officials is now “off the dial” and soon the dial will explode.
111
chicken and egg, isnt it? they would argue people arent dying because they are being kept safe from the “deadly Delta strain”
60
Chicken came before the egg. That is, the lying politicians, health officials and MSM came before the virus.
61
I ordered a chicken and an egg from ebay
This way I will get a definite answer as to which came first.
130
Did you order either one of them “Express”?
10
Not if the chook dies from natural causes, but it will have “covid” on its death certificate….coz thats just what they do…..
50
The next instalment, the Lambda variant, is now out in the US …
40
It came out weeks ago. According to this article it has largely slid under the radar for the past nine months, is now causing almost all new infections in Peru.
30
“When Adriana Midori Takara died last weekend just a fortnight after testing positive for Covid, there was an understandable clamour.
She was not only the youngest woman to ever die of Covid in Australia, she was slim and healthy with no underlying co-morbidities.
Allegations emerged quickly that there was more to the story.
Friends in the Brazilian community said that she had her first jab before she tested positive.
Yet days later (CHO) Chant has yet to confirm or deny Adriana’s vaccine status.
It floats in the air like a spectral phantom.
We know only too well how the government would respond if this woman’s death were due to vaccine injury.
After all, two young Australians died last week confirmed victims of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Both were only a few years older than Adriana, a 44 year-old man from Tasmania and a 48 year-old woman from Victoria, yet we don’t even know their names.
Yet the shocking truth is that Adriana died not because she was unable to get a Pfizer vaccine if that is what indeed happened – Sydney is awash with AstraZeneca – she died because she was unable to access the life-saving early treatment that her family desperately sought to provide.
When she tested positive her father contacted Dr Peter McCulllough, an outstanding specialistin internal medicine, a cardiologist … McCullough published the first protocol for early treatment of Covid in August 2020 in the peer-reviewed American Journal of medicine, which he updated in February 2021.”

Phillip Island is also testament to the destructive power of pigs, goats and rabbits.
30
excellent material for a thread I run on a car blog about weird and dangerous stuff in Oz
an off shore territory is a bit tenuous but who could resist a bid eating centipede?
30
so in this case it is called “watching the natural balance return”
because we are talking about invasive species eg.. pigs, goats and rabbits who are not native to the area
but if we did this with humans, refugees ect.. wouldn’t it be called genocide?

Closing the Gap: Stolen children to be given $378m redress
Thousands of Indigenous Australians who were removed from their families as children and taken to commonwealth-run facilities will receive a one-off $75,000 payment under a $378m redress scheme to be outlined by Scott Morrison on Thursday.
The reparations will put pressure on Western Australia and Queensland – the only states that do not have redress schemes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people taken from their families under historic policies – to match the commitment.
The Prime Minister, outlining the government’s response to the new national Closing the Gap agreement, will tell parliament an apology for the Stolen Generations is not enough.
“We have already confronted it with the national apology. But our deeds must match our words,” Mr Morrison will say, according to an early copy of his speech obtained by The Australian. The payment, he will say, is “in recognition of the harm caused by forced removal”.

So, the money will remove the trauma? How? It would have been better spent on psychiatric treatment for the affected people.

$378 million is a lot of money. Government spends sums like that, on so many things with so little regard. No wonder the country was so in debt even before Covid.

90
Too sad story to comment on this 🙁
56
Forced removal still happens today amongst all races. People of course never ask the “because?……..”question. People dont remove children because they have nothing better to do , its because those children are subject to dangerous neglect and abuse of all kinds.
270
“subject to dangerous neglect and abuse of all kinds.”
And to leave them where they were would be unkind.
But hell, it’s all about the money.
Can I apply for a “redress” payment on behalf of my family who lost 10 to 20 years of time with our father and husband?
He came home from WW11 a wreck with tropical diseases; an uncle never came home. He’s on the bottom down near the Victorian border after his ship was torpedoed he was 16.
Another uncle was in Changi.
I have empathy with original inhabitants but eventually self discipline and respect for community sensibilities and All past wrongs and sacrifices must be considered if we are going to continue down this path.
230
The money won’t help but still we keep trying and so we should
As for ‘money’ there are lots of folks who made a good living running foster care homes. There is as much pay in as pay out. Lots of dead European kids in unmarked graves too. Don’t fool yourself
213
Its not about the money, they want high ranking bureaucrats to apologise in person for the forced removal.
Its about recognising that this country was invaded by the British and the continuing abuse, up until recent times, which needs to be addressed. The school history curriculum will acknowledge this reality and nobody living today should feel any guilt.
011
If you are referring to Australia then it is pretty much the exact same story in Canada
Heck, they are burning churches here. People respond by saying nothing other than “What a shame” as if burning down houses of worship is fully justified.
I am sympathetic and empathetic but can say nothing. To do otherwise would be to slight them
It truly is a sad state of affairs
30
If it wasn’t invaded by the British I wonder who it would have been invaded by? Or perhaps by no one in which case I wonder what the standard of living would be like.
70
Rousseau and the ” noble savage ” general enlightenment thought. The French would have been no different. Always seen through Anglocentric eyes.
00
To settle, invade or be invaded was a fact of history, sometimes to do with population pressures. Anyone who was conquered by the Gauls, the Angles Saxons or Jutes, or by the Norman Conquest of Britain should have been compensated… its only fair!
130
And then there was a virtually complete replacement of Y DNA in much of Europe around 2000 BC when the Yamnaya spread from the steps. They even obliterated previous languages in favour of their Indoeuropean language.
The problem since time immemorial is failure to control borders.
40
You mean like the Dutch, German, Spanish, Portugese . Frankly I think Aboriginal people were fortunate to have the British arrive. Some one would have come and taken the country by force, it could have been so much worse. The records of the earliest settlers show aboriginal people living violent lives. No one discusses the fecundity rate, what were the chances of children surviving? Minimal at best. This was a time when half the children born in white society died before the age of five. How much more difficult was it for underweight, malnourished, nomadic women to care for children?
51
The Dutch and Spanish were reckoned to be worse, but its hardly the point. Purposefully releasing small pox into the population was biological warfare and school children should be informed.
‘The records of the earliest settlers show aboriginal people living violent lives.’
Its also well known that they forced local people to witness convict hangings as a warning. They were horrified by the barbarity of the British.
04
The authorities are fumbling about trying to get it right, the first ‘closing the gap’ effort was a failure. Earlier this year they tried again and already there is progress: birth weights are up and more children are going to school and less juveniles are ending up in detention.

In the thirties my father worked for the Dept of Aboriginal Affairs or whatever it was called then and Mum insists that children were removed for good reason. My parents were not racist.
251
I suppose it is up for him to decide for himself
113
Really?
Throw away a lazy $75k?
No wonder I am so over the aboriginal industry when I come across attitudes such as this.
Nothing will ecer be good enough for some people.
The baby was abandoned by his family! He was not “stolen”.
Apparently he was well treated.
Get over it.
230
There would be a duty to return reunite or reaquaint the baby to its extended family at early convenience. Yes that is extreme but it acknowledges the indigenous heritage. It’s the smallest of things that can be blown up into a raging tempest of emotion.
Perhaps attitudes have evolved differently in Canada although we share similar histories. It’s bad enough here that any defense of ‘good intent’ is immediately attacked
I am not one to question an indigenous person’s sincerity. They need to figure it out for themselves
017
I am, when the so-called indigenous person is white-skinned, red-haired with a great, great grandmother who was indigenous.

‘I am so over the aboriginal industry …’
Have you heard of human rights? Its not an industry, more a political movement.
115
chacun à son goût
There are endless different systems of ‘human rights’. I am too old to argue preference for one system over another. I am too tired to find a way to weave rhat very complex fabric. I like my own culture’s rules. I trust the aboriginal tribes to tend to tend to thir culture.
Fusion is good too

Stalin on the instructions of Lenin wrote a book called “The National Question”. It was to start communist back movements in countries that still had native peoples. The goal was to eventually implement an independent communist republic.
When a delegation of Australian Communists visited Moscow before the Second World War, they were asked by the Russian Government what they were doing in regards to the National question. Around 1950, the Communist Party in Australia started asking their members for volunteers to work in the Aboriginal communities. Much communist literature was found in communities with the white communists were proselyting. The Department of Aboriginal Affairs was taken over by communist public servants. The Minister of Aboriginal Affairs had no say in what went on in the department. One of the things they put into place was the removal of Police from the Aboriginal settlements. The Aboriginals in the communities asked that the Police be returned to the communities. The full story can be found in Geoff MacDonald’s book “Red over Black”.
60
It is very much an industry with a virtually perpetual flow of money. Nobody really wants reconciliation or “equality” because with that comes personal responsibility and consequences with limited cop outs. While ever victimhood and the grievance industry exists the money flows and consequences for pretty much any kind of behaviour are limited relative to others.

I’d be happy to give everyone who can prove say 25% indigenous $100k as long as that was it, no more.
That’s be cheaper than just pouring billions a year into the massive black hole.

It will never be ‘that’s it, no more’. The activists will always demand more.

Presumably this applies to the adenovirusDNA vaccine as well as it leads to production of the mRNA in the body.
I’m seeking info on the Novavax produced using traditional vaccine technology, although it still contains the spike protein. Anybody got any information please reply.
70
A guy I follow does go into the novavax though usually he talks about nutrition by quoting various scientific article. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S1jzKx0F3M&pp=sAQA
10
Thanks Shortie
10
No it is not. NovaVax contains cultured spike proteins rather than getting your body to produce them through gene therapy but there is nothing “traditional” about it.
The spike proteins are grown from insect cells (moths from memory) which are infected with a modified virus that causes them to produce the tailored spike proteins. So it uses gene therapy as well but not applied to the vaccinatee and still only presents the body with a single reference for immune response.
https://www.novavax.com/our-unique-technology
120
BTW Novavax was “approved” for purchase by the EU overnight so we should have it here as soon as the initial backlog clears since it was one of the 3 original vaccines contracted by our government.
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/eu-seals-deal-with-novavax-up-200-million-covid-19-vaccines-2021-08-04/
More indications that the gene therapy vaccines are failing (without open admission, of course)
90
At this stage of the game and based on what we do know (stats and info on the side effects of the vaccines) I still believe the safest approach is not the be vaccinated and if one gets the COVID virus the chances are they will not even have any symptoms or have a mild reaction, and then have immunity the natural way. So, what’s all the hysteria by officialdom about??!!

Australia in the slow lane over Covid-19 testing
In one weekend late last year, a small European country was able to test 3.6 million people – most of its entire adult population – for Covid-19 and isolate those with a positive result.
It was a phenomenal feat, given coronavirus outbreaks are continuing to outpace health authorities across Australia’s east coast, with Sydney remaining in lockdown for the foreseeable future, Queensland teetering on a widespread breakout of the highly infectious Delta variant, while Melbourne nervously waits to see if new infections will trigger its sixth shut down.
But Slovakia found a way: rapid testing.
Rapid antigen tests can detect Covid-19 in as little as 10 minutes and it is something that the Australian government is finally starting to have an “aha moment” over.
The irony is that two Australian companies have developed rapid Covid tests. But instead of being used to help catapult the country back to some kind of normality, they have been sent overseas to the US, Europe and elsewhere.
Why? It appears self-interest has got in the way of homegrown tech being deployed to isolate those with Covid-19 in Australian communities, according to one rapid test firm.
“The groups that advise the government on diagnostic use in public health, they’re not called diagnostics NSW, they’re called Pathology NSW, right. I think that talks to the stakeholders,” said John Kelly, chief executive of listed rapid test maker, Atomo.
“And the problem is exacerbated by the fact that to get a product accepted in the state healthcare systems it really needs to be reimbursed. It‘s been extremely difficult, nigh impossible, for point of care diagnostics to get reimbursement in Australia, which means their use is severely limited, because they’re not reimbursed under the public system.”
Instead, up until now the Australian and state governments have relied on Covid-19 tests being sent to laboratories which can take up to three days to deliver a result.
This has led to the virus outpacing contact tracers. In one case in Sydney it took up to four days to notify people that they had been exposed to a tier-one site, which carries the highest risk of becoming infected.
Pathology testing is also more expensive than a point-of-care test, which a GP, pharmacist, or nurse can administer.
“It’s a much greater cost. You could probably do five or six for the cost of one,” said Mr Kelly.
80
I agree, PeterS. However, I fear that the unvaccinated will become pariahs in their own country. They will be unable to travel by air, cross state borders, and will be refused employment.
Two of those three concern me greatly. I don’t want to be confined to Victoria for the rest of my natural life, and I don’t want to be forced to be injected with an unproven ‘vaccine’.
100
Since it is now clear that vaccination does not stop Covid spread (eg, Israel), the case for discrimination against the unvaccinated fails.
80
Sadly the concocted exigencies of what DeSantis calls the bio medical security state allow no room for quibbling about the logic of its policies.
30
Ontario has half the population of Australia but at it’s peak, Ontarians were vaccinated at twice the current rate in Australia. (250k per day in Ontario. Population 13.5 million). That is 4 times the vaccination rate per individual compared to the current Australian vaccination rate.
Canada the USA and UK are already saturated with vaccines so I don’t think there is a supply problem if Australia really wants it
The WHO is now advising against 3rd doses until September. Somehow the rich countries are soaking up all the supply and depriving the poor countries their fair share. This sounds good on paper but it seems to me that the vaccine manufactures are in a race with each other to sell as much product as possible. The more product that gets sold, the more product gets manufactured. There is alrready a glut. Its expiring. Good excuse to dump AstroZeneca product. Sheesh. Vaccine politics
(Rely on the reader to locate their own references)
27
That explains why some are pushing for children and even babies to be vaccinated. They need more “victims”.
160
There is no doubt that the manufacturers are pushing as hard as they can to sell the most vaccine. Huge profit to be made by moving billions of units, even if the product is sold modestly above cost
40
Even more so once they start churning out new “variants” of the virus. It’s starting to look like a drug syndicate on steroids, metaphorically speaking – all funded by the Western governments of the world and interested parties. I wonder how much Bill Gates and his mates will be contributing. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has so far ploughed billions of dollars into developing them.
70
– developing vaccines that is.
50
Even now people are getting cynical. Vaccination only good for 6 months until the next booster has an addictive habit quality to it. Already worse than the annual flu shot.
Premier Ford of Ontario remains adamant that vaccination will not be forced on people out of legal necessity. Although I don’t like the idea I would have to agree with him. Covid is not so serious that vaccination should be law. The ‘for the good of all’ argument isn’t plausible because herd immunty is unreachable. The virus will remain endemic
80
Herd immunity may very well be unreachable BECAUSE of the vaccines.
https://doctors4covidethics.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Pfizer-pharmacokinetics-and-toxicity.pdf
With strong preventives widely used and natural immunity this virus, like all before it, can be overcome.

40
A great piece of false equivalence , surely as a Canadian you understand vast distance and distributed populations. Comparing by population doesnt cut it. I guess the other side is who cares? the big prize for being fully vaccinated seems to be another wave of infections based on whats going on at the moment. Then there’s Sweden I suppose , but the MSM seems determined to look away now as it doesnt fit vax hype correct think.

‘For $1/Day’… Double-Blind Ivermectin Study Reveals COVID Patients Recover More Quickly, Are Less Infectious
A double-blind Israeli study has concluded that Ivermectin, an inexpensive anti-parasitic widely used since 1981, reduces both the duration and infectiousness of Covid-19, according to the Jerusalem Post.
The study, conducted by Prof. Eli Schwartz, founder of the Center for Travel Medicine and Tropical Disease at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, looked at some 89 eligible volunteers over the age of 18 who had tested positive for coronavirus, and were living in state-run Covid-19 hotels. After being divided into two groups, 50% received ivermectin, and 50% received a placebo. Each patient was given the drug for three days in a row, an hour before eating.
83% of participants were symptomatic at recruitment. 13.5% of patients had comorbidities of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, hypertension or cancer. The median age of the patients was 35, ranging from 20 to 71-years-old.
Results
Treatment was discontinued on the third day, and patients were monitored every two days thereafter. By day six, 72% of those treated with ivermectin tested negative for the virus, vs. 50% of those who received the placebo. Meanwhile, just 13% of ivermectin patients were able to infect others after six days compared to 50% of the placebo group – nearly four times as many.
Hospitalizations

It should be mentioned that this is little more than a pilot study. this doesn’t mean much in the terms of say a meta-analysis where the small number gets dominated by larger studies.
The recent pro-ivermectin meta-analysis was dominated by a large Egyptian study that was found to have dodgy data and plagurised paragraphs in it (most studies from Egypt recently have been pretty much false). Now looking through the wreckage that is nutrition science you can see these types of studies dominated by singular poorly designed or obviously ‘modified’ studies with a large population count included.
111
What about all the the other studies referenced by the FLCCC Alliance and the BIRD Group, shortie?
And how about using India as and Indonesia as mass evidence that Ivermectin works? India because cases plummetted after the government began distributing it and Indonesia because cases skyrocketted after the government halted its distribution by a local company.
All these people demanding mass RCTs for proof are trying to blindly follow process, at best, or else complicit in preventing use of effective off label medications. Which are you, shortie?
190
I am not disagreeing here. But results of studies can be subtracted a bit if the size itself is quite small.
The issue is that buggy or found false studies that are quite large like the Egyptian one can be used to beat down the pro-ivermectin voices. The meta-analysis failed in its evaluation of the studies and thus the roll out of the idea of having effective and relatively safe to use drug like ivermectin takes a hit. I’m fully for the use of preventative measures like ivermectin, getting lots of vitamin d etc. I’ve seen many of the studies for these and I agree but how did the media deal with HCQ? They trotted out studies done by people that used the drug in a way that should’ve resulted in a firing squad being used it was that bad but still it fit their narrative.
50
The BIG problem is that a “proper” RCT takes a lot of time and other resources, ie MONEY, hence they are almost always funded by the big pharmaceutical companies. This leads to commercial capture of approvals.
Yes, the Egyptian study was withdrawn but the clinical evidence is overwhelmingly in the favour of ivermectin (and hydroxychloroquine + zinc and vitamin D). The real world experiences should hold weight but rationality has gone out the window with CoViD-19
120
the thing is the media have chinks in the armour to target or throw shade on ivermectin despite what we know in other RCTs or overall population studies. The talk by Dr David Martin about the patents for covid dating back to 1999 was a stark reminder of how much the media is not telling the public. He even points out discussion papers by Peter Daszak back around 2006 where he put out this exact plan of ‘accidental release’ coupled with media compliance to force vaccinate the populace based off the idea of a corona virus. Also that one of the vaccine manufacturers flipped four of their inactive patents to cover corona viruses in march of 2019 8 months before the first signs of the virus and they started communicating with canadian companies that held patents for the lipid nanomolecules used to transport the MRNA packages before the ‘outbreak’.
The populace need to be informed, the media shamed and blamed for much of this and the political class needs to be removed for those who are not up for sale. Then again those who were not up for sale as far as leaders were concerned have died this year…. except one.
One who died was the president of Tanzania at one point “After COVID tests yielded “positive” results from a goat and a pawpaw, Magufuli rejected them as unreliable, saying they had “technical errors.” His words have since been supported by an independent group of 22 scientists, who identified “10 fatal problems” with the widely used PCR tests, noting that each problem on its own was enough to render the tests “useless” in identifying COVID-19.” He also rejected any use of vaccines, lockdowns and masking up.
The President of Burundi died also of a heart attack while the Haitian President is more famous for being assassinated by what is seen as foreign interference. All these leaders enjoyed popularity for their stance in this issue (the opposite of the west ironically). The survivor being the current Madagaskar President who survived an attempt just recently, this might be internal bankrolled from the outside but the politics there are difficult but again in 2021 about 5 leaders have died and all have had some reservations or refusal to roll out the vaccines.

I think the Israel produces covid nasal spray and Ivermectin (injectable) are the solutions to stop covid.
The covid nasal spread stops covid from replicating by forming a safe, effective chemical and physical barrier, in the nose that the covid virus cannot penetrate. The virus enters the body via the nose.
The nasal spray is non-invasive and can be used up to five times a day, which makes it a practical/safe option for children and adults. It does not enter the blood stream. The nasal spray is effective to stop other viruses like the cold. This is something that should have been developed years ago to stop the spread of viruses and to reduce the symptoms/period of sickness.
The highly contagious version of covid is highly contagious because it replicates rapidly in nose (producing lots of snout that gets on hands as the victim wipes snout off of nose) before going on to the other organs. This stops the virus from replicating which will stop the nose from producing the snout (watery fluid).
The injectable version of Ivermectin …. enables the Ivermectin dosage to be reduced by more than 1/2 to achieve the same in blood stream ivermectin. This reduces the person to person variance of in blood stream Ivermectin. This makes Ivermectin safer. The Ivermectin injection takes action to reduce covid virus count in 20 minutes after injection. Fast virus reduction is key. I believe Ivermectin when taken as a tablet takes about 8 hours before covid virus count is reduced.
Logically, to minimize covid damage/pain/spreading/and so on… ….. anyone that has covid like symptoms should go to be tested. If the patient is covid positive… They would be given the Covid nasal spray and the option of an Ivermectin injection based on body weight or a Ivermectin in tablets to provide a second level of protection against covid symptoms and covid spreading.
In UK tests, Israel tests, Canadian tests, and so …

Israeli trial shows ivermectin works – found this from a ZeroHedge article
2 very interesting takeaways (aside from the results) after reading the study:
1. They stated that “there is significant evidence that a non-infectious state is usually achieved at Ct level>30” so our tests with cycles up to 45 produce inflated “case” numbers
2. The comments show a massive bias against the conclusion and cook up reasons to discredit it. These are presumably doctors and medical researchers so no wonder that many won’t accept any evidence that invermectin and other older drugs work
https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.05.31.21258081v1.full-text
100
I have no doubt the Ct levels of up to 45 as used in Australia are deliberately designed to inflate “case” numbers. I think even Lord Fauci once said it was pointless to go to Ct>30.
Whenever someone says to me something about the number of “new Covid cases” I say are they really “cases” which has a specific clinical meaning or are they just positive PCR test results?
Australia is one of the worst for UN following, poorly lead and globalist of all countries so we have to keep the covid “case” number lie going in preparation for a global Marxist dictatorship. COVID is the excuse currently being implemented to strip away what few freedoms we have left.
160
I just thought that it was interesting to see this in print in a medical trial rather than just as a statement.
They even excluded people with cycle thresholds above 35 because they judged their viral loads as being insignificant and stated that they didn’t test to the Israeli standard of 40 cycles because of the item it can take for viral fragments to clear after recovering from an infection.
Even our ABC has mentioned this but continue to put out the line that the possibility of overly high cycle thresholds is “misinformation”

Vector vaccine. In this type of vaccine, genetic material from
the COVID-19 virus is placed in a modified version of a different virus (viral
vector). When the viral vector gets into your cells, it delivers genetic
material from the COVID-19 virus that gives your cells instructions to make
copies of the S protein. Once your cells display the S proteins on their
surfaces your immune system responds by creating antibodies and
defensive white blood cells. If you later become infected with
the COVID-19 virus, the antibodies will fight the virus.
Viral vector vaccines can’t cause you to become infected with
the COVID-19 virus or the viral vector virus. Also, the genetic material that’s
delivered doesn’t become part of your DNA. The Janssen/Johnson &
Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is a vector vaccine. AstraZeneca and the
University of Oxford also have a vector COVID-19 vaccine. https:/

Somebody needs to finagle the equivalent legal situation in Victoria:
Alberta Chief Medical Officer, Deena Hinshaw, and the Alberta Provincial government, through their attorneys, apparently admitted in court that they do not have an isolate of SARS-CoV-2, the alleged virus that is said to cause COVID-19. In other words, Canada has no legal basis to issue mandates or laws regarding lockdowns, masks, social distancing or any other advisories regarding COVID-19

I’m sure there a few lawyers here who could do the same thing (if you’re a lawyer then please comment). A class action against a state or federal govt.
It’s the same deal – there is no isolated sample to prove it exists. There is no CRM (certified reference material) anywhere I know of. The class action would out of necessity have to totally shutdown the marketing and vax rollouts out of public safety as a first step though or the whole thing may be pointless. Given how the vaxxed are fast becoming new-age lepers this had better happen FAST!

Why would they bother with 19th Century technology when they can RNA sequence the virus genomes? That is being done with every case in Victoria now to ensure they have the correct chain of transmission and nothing new.
The story is a beat up by a moron who cannot even read a letter. The statement he links to said that King has no evidence to show that the information he has requested from the CMOH is material to the Provincial Court. The statement is nothing more than the CMOH saying you can kiss my (where the sun don’t shine)
Alberta now have lifted Covid restrictions based on 70% of the population at least having one jab. Infection rate has consequently doubled from 0.76 to 1.48. That might scare people into getting vaccinated so they get to herd immunity faster than otherwise. Florida has done the same thing. It panics people into getting vaccinated as they race to beat the spread – similar to the panic in Sydney now.

Yes; I’d erase the post if I could; I’ve had it explained to me how legally misconceived the story is.

Back in the year 1295, the climate was already cooling from its peak. It was the early stages of the Wolff Solar Minimum. These were the days of William Wallace. It had been quite warm up until then. The 23rd of October, the first treaty forming the Auld Alliance between the Kingdoms of Scotland and France against the Kingdom of England or England is signed in Paris. On Mar 30, 1296, in or near Scotland, King Edward I sacks Berwick-upon-Tweed, during armed conflict between Scotland and England. None of this was of any concern to a huge giant red star, the 11th brightest in the night sky of this planet, and seen from here to be part of the constellation of Orion. Betelgeuse had just spat out a small amount of its mass in the general direction of this planet.
It wasn’t seen here until around October 2019, when the star began to dim, quite markedly. But by about the end of March 2020, its brightness was well on the wy to recovery. At the time, some of the more excitable of the astronomical community thought it might be a prelude ot Betelgeuse’s early death in a great supernove eruption. It doesn’t seem to have been so far. Betelgeuse is about 724 LY distant. That shows just how light crawls across the heavens. If you train a modern telescope (the Hubble Telescope for instance) on Betelgeuse, it will show quite a cloud of material decorating or adorning the near surrounds of the star — a cloud of mass spat out at other times by the giant.
It was observations of Betelgeuse by the Hubble telescope which showed astronomers what had happened to cause the dimming.
https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2020/hubble-finds-that-betelgeuses-mysterious-dimming-is-due-to-a-traumatic-outburst
Betelgeuse is yet to decide when it will die. Its death in a supernova will be easily visible from here and will, for however long the supernova lasts (days or weeks) be the brightest celestial event, visible from here day and night.
If you have seen the Youtube video This star explosion will be seen on Earth in 2022. Can we survive it? don’t worry. It probably won’t be 2022. Someone had some fun making that video …. and Betelgeuse will most likely be around for a while yet. At 724 LY away, we will survive it comfortably. In fact we will have a grandstand view of it, better than Kepler’s later supernova in 1604. If you want a good giggle, the video is quite entertaining …

The last time Earth had as much sunshine as 2020 was 2001. 2022 will be the year of lowest sunshine in the current decade.
Sunshine does not relate directly to measured surface temperature because the measurement system is flawed and average surface temperature has powerful negative feedbacks that limit the range. But ultimately solar input is the key driver of Earth’s climate and it is constantly changing.
Northern Hemisphere sunlight has increased by 0.1W/sq.m in the past 400 years but Southern Hemisphere has lost 0.1W/sq.m. Trivial as an average but significant in the locations that have experienced most change.

The AMO is about to slip into neutral.
‘The North Atlantic SSTA pattern is VERY marginal warm right now. The basin average is +0.27 which barely represents a marginal warm Atlantic Multi-decadal Oscillation (+AMO). Keep in mind, the AMO regime has been in a robust warm phase much of the past 20 years during August.’ (Climate Impact Company)

As a matter of interest, the year 1947 in Europe was a shocker.

That’s what I keep telling some of my relatives when they keep pressuring me to take the vaccine because of the alleged COVID-related deaths – people die all the time for all sorts of reasons. The way some people talk you’d mistakenly think that people are dropping like flies all over the place. I for instance do a reasonable amount of driving – at least I used to thanks to the lockdowns, and I had a far great risk of death involved in a car accident compared to COVID. The last I checked there is no blanket ban on cars being driven on the roads. So using common sense and logic, why bother getting vaccinated given the associated short and long term risks of the vaccines themselves, which even the CDC admit do exist. The beat up and frenzy by the politicians, health officials and MSM are completely out of this world.
160
Its alright, they are going to put pressure on the younger age group to bring the country upto 80%, the carrot will be a passport to travel overseas.
50
Vaccine passports for overseas travel is almost a given. I couldn’t care less as I don’t travel overseas any longer. It’s their introduction to restrict the movement of people within Australia that should concern every thinking Australian. PM Morrison should put in place legislation to make it illegal. I very much doubt he would even consider it. I welcome to be proven wrong.
80
States rights rule, this is a medical issue, but none of the Premiers will demand an internal vax passport.
12
I found it interesting that Fauci stated that the Delta positive vaccinated and unvaccinated are shedding at almost the exact same amount. I found this curious. If the unvaccinated shed at higher amounts, his bias would have been to confirm that. So it may be that the vaccinated shed at a higher amount.
So the vaccinated are just as, or more contagious.
Have narrow immunity.
Have ever weaker immunity.
Are suffering large adverse reactions.
Are potentially vulnerable to suffering catastrophic reactions.
Need masks ( for according to the CDC) even when around their children
May or may not go to the hospital as much. ( conflicting reports)
May destroy the chance for herd immunity.
May breed a very deadly version.
161
🙂
00
The chart in Figure 2 of the Pfizer report shows why vaccination is the way forward. The Coved cases in the vaccinated group flatlined after day 14 from the first dose. Cases amoung those without the vaccine just kept going up at the same rate.
It would be good to know the cause of deaths in both groups.
Pfizer related deaths across France is reported at 45/M and 18/M for AtraZeneca. Either is significantly lower than 1700/M for Covid.
212
“ Pfizer related deaths across France is reported at 45/M and 18/M for AtraZeneca. Either is significantly lower than 1700/M for Covid.”
It is highly illogical to make such a comparison!
The vast majority of wuflu deaths occurred well before vaccines existed, or could have any real affect on wuflu deaths, or record adverse event deaths! ( Really it is very disingenuous to make such a comparison)
The means of tracking are entirely different. If anything the wuflu deaths are exaggerated.
Watch this video on “The failure of lockdowns “. The short video shows clearly many excess deaths caused by lockdowns. It is highly likely that many if not most of those were assigned to the Wuflu. https://rumble.com/vigrc9-dr.-scott-atlas-the-deadly-price-of-covid19-lockdowns-a-failed-policy-clip.html
The means of tracking adverse vaccine events is expected to highly underestimate the actual number of events. ( By 90 to 99 percent) How many adverse events would be reported if Doctors or hospitals were paid several thousand dollars for each adverse event report filed?
80
So let’s take a Wag at the three flaws in Rick’s assertion.
1. An estimated 80 percent of fatalities happened before the Vaccines existed.
So 1700 deaths per M becomes 340 / M. The jabs remain at 63 / M. ( Did France only use two vaccines? ( BTW, where did your deaths per M come from and how much does the state owe these sacrificial lambs.)
2. Assuming France was better then the US, counting every possible wuflu death as a wuflu death, lets take a wag at 7 percent over reported. So that lowers the per M number to 220 / m
3. The jabs are at 63 / M and it has been conservatively estimated that only 10 percent are reported. Still that does not appear right without far greater research and excessive death statistics, which like all Wuflu numbers are not easy to get. So let’s go with a factor of three,”
That brings the vaccine fatalities to 189 / M
Then we come to the fact that leaky vaccines in a pandemic are very harmful and may destroy the chance at herd immunity, and the more server potential harms may yet manifest.
ADE. ( some evidence of this)
Fertility loss. ( there is definite evidence of this)
Fetus harm. ( some evidence of this)
Below is a good synopsis reference for vaccine harms and the inadequate studies done before mindlessly attempting to give them to 100 percent of humanity.
https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/5fa5866942937a4d73918723/60140c42ed6fc0ed22210624_Adverse_Vaccine_Events_29-01-21.pdf
50
Not certain which vaccines Rick used in his per million doses numbers? He only mentions one.
“ Four vaccines have been approved for use in France: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. All require two doses for full efficacy except the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which only requires one.”
30
so absolute risk (not necessarily of covid) is ever so slightly in favour of not getting the vaccinated.
The risk associated would be claimed to be 7.14% higher for vaccinated but over say about 11,000 person years (rough estimate of each size of the cohorts in the study) would mean 2/5th of stuff all difference and be statistical noise. Certainly not the definitive science either side can point to having a mandate either way.
41
So why go with the risk and expense of these “vaccines”?
Why not do proper long term studies to determine efficacy over time and long term side effects?
70
Only if you have zero exposure to the virus. It means you would need to remain completely isolated from human contact. Even people vaccinated can still transmit Covid. The odds of dying from Covid if you get it is 100 times higher than the odds of dying from the AZ vaccine. By the end of the study only 4% of the placebo group had actually caught Covid. You would need to continue monitoring to know their eventual fate – they are all probably vaccinated now. What is clear from the study is the Pfizer vaccine is highly effective in preventing severe consequences from Covid.
So if you choose to not have the vaccine then you have to lower your risk 100-fold of actually catching it to achieve the same risk level as a vaccinated individual. To me the freedom of movement afforded by the vaccine was overwhelming in favour of getting vaccinated. There are a number of locations that have removed Covid restrictions as they approach herd immunity with high level of vaccinations.
It is not yet clear if herd immunity will actually conquer the spread but it has slowed it down and dramatically reduces hospitalisation. It will also slow down the rate of mutation.
08
No it does not. By allowing “vaccinated” people to still become infected, it allows for lethal mutations to be produced and spread that would normally kill the host, preventing its spread.
80
Mutation rate is independent of anything else in this scenario; vaccinations don’t change it.
011
How can you say anything with such certainty when we havent been down this path before with the current generation of vaccine like products. Absent long term testing there is much that is unverified or even unknown.
60
I can say with certainty that Gee is wrong. Vaccinated are getting infected at the same rate as non vaccinated in many areas. Higher in some. The vaccinated can only claim that in some areas the symptoms are reduced. However every single infection is a mutation opportunity to self select a vaccine resistant mutation.
Gee us wrong just looking at what is happening clinically in higher vaccinated nations. This paper explains it, as well as other possible to likely harms of using a leaky vaccine in a pandemic.

70
This, along with many other facts shows vaccine failure.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/08/12-13-vaccinated-countries-world-now-listed-cdc-travel-risk/
30
Mutations in vaccinated individuals are more likely to produce a virus that will evade that vaccine in individuals infected by it.
50
There are at least two ways to prevent mutations. Wipe out the virus by not feeding bodies to it or eliminate all bodies so it cannot find a host. Same result – the virus has gone.
It is not yet clear if herd immunity will slow the spread without some of the other controls but time will tell.
05
True. But the TYPE of mutations that can survive with leaky vaccines is different to what natural selection would produce. These vaccines will slow or prevent the natural evolution of the virus towards higher infectiousness BUT lower mortality. Instead, the mutation selection is all about evading the antibody response from the spike protein vaccines which are probably not well matched to those of the newer variants.
40
Not true.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/08/12-13-vaccinated-countries-world-now-listed-cdc-travel-risk/
10
But true about natural selection towards greater infectivity, so thumbs up.
The vaccines have a far more limited anti viral response then natural immunity, therefore they produce more successful mutations.
Technically your “true” regarding Rick’s mutation comment is correct, ( as long as anybody has the virus, mutation is possible) but practically it is irrelevant and in no way cogent to stopping this pandemic.
30
I read through it and the paper is very worrying due to the demonstrated toxicity of both the spike proteins and the lipids used to encapsulate the RNA for delivery and also the confirmed mobility of the injected particles into the bloodstream.
There is no mention of mutation rates, however.
10
Analitik, you are correct, sorry, that link explained many of the adverse events and dangers of these vaccines.
Here is the link I was thinking of…
https://www.geertvandenbossche.org/post/a-last-word-of-caution-to-all-those-pretending-the-covid-19-pandemic-is-toning-down
This explains how the mass vaccinations accelerate infection potential.
Other papers discuss the narrow scope of vaccine immunity.
Narrow limited immunity allows more breakthrough or successful mutations. IE; less change required to make a viable mutation. More viable mutations equates to greater chance of the rare mutation that is both more infectious and virulent. More infectious mutations equates to greater viral exposure of both the vaccinated and unvaccinated.
Thanks for pointing out the wrong link
30
you got it analytik. Mutation rate is not affected by vaccination but selection for particular favourable mutation (always) is. So many wrong people here.
12
Read my response, and the link provided.
00
and? This is a technicality not handled there. Mutation rate is wholly about errors in replication. Envirnomental factors can change this somewhat but vaccines are not one of them.
00
“ Mutation rate is WHOLLY about errors in replication”
Simplistic and wrong. The degree of changed require for successful replication is immense. The vaccines reduce the mutations required to be viable. They do not stop infections adequately to prevent development of more successful vaccine resistant mutations. They give a false sense of confidence to the vaccinated population. The inhibit natural broad scoped immunity.
20
“ Only sterilizing immunity cuts off mutation and exerting mutational pressure via non-sterilizing vaccines not only promotes mutation by removing the signal an infected person has to self-isolate and reduce transmission risk (since you don’t feel ill) it nudges the virus toward codons that will escape the protection in whole or part.”
00
David says;
“They inhibit natural broad scoped immunity.”
Yes.
The original idea put to us was that we needed to “flatten the curve”.
The meaning behind that was the requirement that we needed to help and support those attacked by the virus in the first and most aggressive stage, then watch as the new mutation spread faster but was not as lethal.
20
A not killed or a still able to replicate virus can mutate. So as the “vaccines” don’t kill all virus, mutation are program.
20
‘So if you choose to not have the vaccine then you have to lower your risk 100-fold of actually catching it to achieve the same risk level as a vaccinated individual.’
No you don’t. You just need to take a few supplements to have a risk level lower than that of the average vaccinated “individual”.
150
every day forever?
08
If necessary.
30
Not necessarily at all. In fact certainly not.
The antivirals, used as a preventive, would significantly lower the RO well below one and, in conjunction with natural immunity quickly regulate the virus to the past.
Rick appears to think that the only way to stop the virus is to have it kill everybody or stop all possible contact.
Rick says. “ There are at least two ways to prevent mutations. Wipe out the virus by not feeding bodies to it or eliminate all bodies so it cannot find a host. Same result – the virus has gone.“”
Exactly zero pandemics or viruses in human history have ended as Rick stated.
50
That’s what the vaccines will force us into since they don’t prevent infection.
40
You speak as if being healthy is a chore. What a sad individual.
10
The 100 fold risk reduction is absolute unmitigated nonsense.
See post 18.3 above. Rick acquired his estimate through fallacious reasoning.
Current risk with every version of the virus is greater for the vaccinated verses those with natural immunity. The vaccinated have no advantage against the Delta version compared with the unexposed unvaccinated. They shed the virus in equal or higher numbers.
50
Here’s study that Chris references in the video showing for those tested as infected with CoViD, there was no difference in measured viral loads between the vaccinated and unvaccinated initially from “Dane County, Wisconsin, which has one of the highest rates of vaccination among populous counties in the United States” (83 cases) and then expanded to other Wisconsin counties that did testing by the same lab (208).
https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.07.31.21261387v1.full.pdf
40
Oh, and of the 83 cases from Dane County, the breakup for vaccinated vs unvaccinated was
unvaccinated: 51 – 61%
vaccinated: 32 – 39%
Yet again, not the panacea that we are being told by our governments and media
30
Dane county vaccination level is stated as 67%. So for the vaccine to be ineffective, the number of vaccinated should have been just over twice the number unvaccinated – say 103 cases. It was only 32 so the the vaccination has afforded significant reduction in risk of contracting the virus.
Also noted is this conclusion from the report:
In summation, the report finds that vaccinated individuals can still spread the virus but the risk of severe effects and death are much reduced in vaccinated individuals.
02
At the risk of harboring mutations with ADE
60
Vaccine effectiveness wears off. Many areas show equal infections now. As a general rule the more vaccinated in conjunction with the earlier vaccinated, the less effective the vaccine is. ( This applies to symptom symptoms as well )
There us no doubt that the vaccines initially knocked the numbers down, along with seasonal factors. For instance the unvaccinated UK had far fewer infections and deaths one year ago, after the first large wave. So in the NH we have a seasonal reduction, a undeniably higher level of natural immunity, and the vaccines, all contributing to the Wuflu reduction.
Vaccine advocates try to claim credit for all reductions, often compare total infection deaths over 20 months of pandemic and the largest pre vaccine global waves to the improperly tracked underestimated adverse events tracking which only affects the last four or five months. It is very possible if not likely that over the past month vaccinated verse unvaccinated, in dealing with the delta virus that the vaccinated have as many infections and equal harms to the unvaccinated, and more harms when you add in the adverse events.
We are past the third wave for some nations. There was no vaccine for the Spanish flu, yet it vanished. What is really evil is the suppression of Ivermectin, HCQ, vitamins and sunshine as powerful healing and preventatives that would have made emergency use of highly risky leaky vaccines completely unnecessary and politically unsupportable. The willful suppression of effective remedies, and telling the infected to go home until they got really sick, was evil.
70
unvaccinated: 51 – 61%
vaccinated: 32 – 39%
Needs to be adjusted for the pop. percentages in each group otherwise meaningless.
00
That was from nasal swabs, not very reliable. Recent blood titer tests show higher viral loads in some vaccinated.
30

The good news about imminent arrival of Covid Passports is that will again shine a light on the massive incompetence of Government IT and the surrounding management and politicians.
The burgeoning State parochialism and finger pointing sets the stage. Will each State have one, will the Feds insist one having one only? or as well as the States? will they accept and recognise each others passports? what will be the reliability and accuracy of the back off systems (stop laughing). Will systems requirements be as poorly defined, and testing poorly executed and management totally hopeless? again. These people bought you the ATO system crash, the Census system crash, the CovidSafe App, miserably failed outsourcing “initiatives” and assorted State transport ticketing system fiascos.
Nearly everything has been solved before but you can bet that an assortment of warring tribes will boldly set off to reinvent the wheel.

I believe this has already been de facto decided, by the automatic issuance of the Commonwealth Medicare Vaccination Certificate. This Certificate is easily loaded into your phone wallet..

Most smartphones have a digital wallet where you can store details of your card details. Means that you can carry less cards around in your wallet. Very useful. In practice CUSEF has sponsored trips to China for mainstream corporate media outlets in exchange for “favorable coverage” for the last 25 years. As revealed through Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) filings with the Department of Justice, the group’s explicit goal of the trips is to “effectively disseminate positive messages to the media, key influencers, and opinion leaders, and the general public.” https://thenationalpulse.com/news/exc-ccp-journalism-exchange-program-to-enhance-understanding/

The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2005 to 2006 data were analyzed for vitamin D levels in adult participants (N = 4495). Vitamin D deficiency was defined as a serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D concentrations ≤20 ng/mL (50 nmol/L). The overall prevalence rate of vitamin D deficiency was 41.6%, with the highest rate seen in blacks (82.1%), followed by Hispanics (69.2%).
Remember 50 nmol/L is very deficient, I achieved three times that totally naturally without sunburn. I would urge anyone to raise their levels to 75 nmol/L min.
A campaign to get population levels higher would have a big benefit generally not only in the fight against the rona.
A high D3 level doesn’t prevent gout. 🙁

In moderation. I have no idea why so I’ll make a small edit;

you can have high D3 and be a drunk (just kidding but drinking and high fructose, which can process in the liver partly the same way, intake are quite the driver of incidence of this happening). Normally someone will have either Alcoholic or Non-Alcoholic Liver Disease present associated with gout. I never had gout but even I when given an ultrasound had evidence of the disease despite being skinny for life up until then (I was 44), I was probably pre-diabetic and had been for awhile leading to a cascade of other issue such as continuing after this to gain weight for another couple of years before I went into diet and changed the way I ate etc.

Flok above (#2.1.2) above remarked:
Quite so, now compounded by a threatening presence of the army. Yet hospital doctors complain that patients only appear before them when very ill indeed—hypocrisy.
So, why do Australian authorities—state by state—not provide any care for persons who have tested positive for the virus?
And even before that, nothing whatever regarding vitamin D. its just “Go home and stay there”!
Many policies regarding this hideous virus, as implemented in Australia (and perhaps elsewhere, too), represent major intellectual failings thus far.
Whatever state governments might like to think, there is no solution. They have done nothing about establishing protocols either for avoiding the disease or managing it. All seem to represent the American notion of a solution, doubtless final. Vaccines look backwards, it is past time to look ahead and consider a range of responses and levels of response across various populations, not lest of distinguishing between the metropolis and regions.
130
Correct,
countless lives have been lost and many more will be lost as a result of current practice.
Treatment protocols have to be put in place, otherwise it is negligence of the highest order. The only advice to stay at home is criminal.
140
Sending someone home until they are at death’s door IS the treatment protocol as our health authorities are going strictly by WHO guidelines. Our medicos are displaying a total lack of professional curiosity for overseas treatments of CoViD.
The only good thing about this is that they can’t stop you taking ivermectin if you are at home rather than in a hospital ward.
130
vitamin d in tablet form may not provide much benefit on the short term, it takes a long time for this form to over time raise the vit D levels. He would have to be taking high doses a couple of weeks before to gain much benefit from it. A high dose of the processed version, as was given in spanish studies would be cheap and ensure to a high certainty that they would not need to present again to hospital.
70
Agree that it takes about 2 weeks for the body to process oral vitamin D, but that’s about the same it takes for these jabs to become effective, so on that score they’re about equal.
Side effects from vitamin D? Zero. Great number.
Other benefits from vitamin D? Yes. Helps the immune system generally.
The processed version? Great, but I thought it required prescription and injection. True?
Oral version can be implemented personally and immediately. I certainly suggest starting now, and not waiting to get a test result.
(I’m still on 10,000 IU per day and my serum level reached and was holding at 60 ng/ml.)
Cheers

The 27 year old who tragically died in Sydney is being “celebrated” and used for scare propaganda as Australia’s youngest covid victim but what most of the enemedia also forget to tell you is he had a family history of heart problems.
https://au.news.yahoo.com/sydney-man-27-died-contracting-covid-newlywed-055251248.html
120
As I and a couple of others have said, people die all the time from various causes. With the hysteria going around one would think that COVID is the ONLY reason people are dying. The reality is the proportion of such deaths of the total is minuscule and statistically almost non-existent. I bet if the COVID PCR test was more accurate instead of being inaccurate as admitted by the CDC, the figure would be even less significant.
What’s revealing is I managed to catch what some official said – I think in Victoria. It was stated that the PCR test we use is the diamond standard and better than what much of the rest of the world uses. Given he is probably right in saying the PCS test is better than others, I hazard a guess the figures from overseas are totally misleading. If that’s the case and stretching the imagination even more, we could say the real figures should be more in line with ours. Now that would be worth investigating but would not be possible given the lack of transparency, and in fact deliberate withholding of relevant information.

We are being lied to.

The response to COVID has taught me how easy it is for those in power or of influence to control the “minds” of the Sheeple.
I now have no doubt about the ease with which the totalitarian governments of the Left, the National Socialists and International Socialists come to power either legally or illegally.
140
I’m glad you included the National Socialists and International Socialists. Focusing on just the left/communists is a misdirection. In fact I suspect the real enemies behind the scenes are simply fascists. As I mentioned before that’s one cabal trying to take over the world. There is another that competes, predominantly made up of non-Western nations (ie, communists). Perhaps they will unite to speed things up and carve the world. If that happens I can see Australia being taken over by China and the US by Russia. Of course it’s pure speculation at this stage. The reality will probably be more startling. I have some idea there too but it would go over the heads of most people here, and no it doesn’t involve aliens although it’s close.
20
Fascism is a philosophy of the Left and has as its philosopher Giovanni Gentile, almost written out of history by the Left. It is discussed by Dinesh D’Souza in the following video:
https://youtu.be/m6bSsaVL6gA
41
I didn’t say anything about right versus left. That’s another misdirection when discussing politics. I was merely using terms that are well know and used in the context of historical events and how they treated their constituents. For example, under fascism, businesses are not nationalised and are pretty much left to their own devices, much like capitalism. Fascist regimes generally came into existence in times when business owners feared that a revoluti0n or uprising was approaching, such as a communist rev0lt. That’s one reason I see us moving more to fascism than to communism, unless of course we are overtaken by the CCP who themselves now have some traits of fascism wrt business enterprises. At the end of the say it doesn’t really matter what we call it, and it take our focus away from them. I bet they would love us to squabble of such matters so they can continue their ever growing thirst for more tyranny. Our current governments are most assuredly becoming more and more tyrannical. How far it goes is anyone’s guess.
41
Kitty Werthmann,
There was no invasion. the ‘Sheeple’ just gave their liberties away under the effects of the ‘Hopium’. Of course after they had been shut down, starved, denied, you know the story, you are living it.
The big question is what ‘Hopium’ are Andrew & Peta on that they would recite the missive of those that remove the scientists and Doctors who challenge the narrative.
Strange Days Indeed!
30
I would not agree that fascism pretty much leaves businesses alone. Rather they tie the company line and participate fully in the central authority propaganda. ( Sounds familiar to us Americans as the current regime here is doing exactly the above with our multi nationals.) Sometimes however I am not certain who is directing, the mega wealthy billionaires and multi nationals, or the Government.
20
Arg, typos and gaffs
2nd sentence should read; “Rather they TOW the GOVERNMENT line and participate fully in the central authority propaganda.

Hi David, most people are so familiar with autocorrect that we knew it wasn’t “tie”.
The other question is, would autocorrect have activated if you’d put your toe in it?

So SPC (Shepparton Preserving Company) is mandating that everyone who works for them is to have a Covid vaccination. They are meeting with the unions on Monday. Will be interesting to see how that goes.

‘Just over half of Americans who remain unvaccinated against Covid-19 still believe the vaccine is more dangerous than the coronavirus — despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, according to a new survey published Wednesday.
‘Unvaccinated adults still also largely believe the news media have exaggerated the severity of the pandemic, and are less likely than vaccinated adults to wear a mask in public, according to the ongoing Kaiser Family Foundation survey.’ (CNN)
32
Also the mRNA vaccine isn’t effective, it’s such a crappy vaccine you need three shots, maybe even four shots. I want an old school vaccine that actually works, I want a vaccine where you get one shot and you’re good to go. I want one shot, not this three shot crap.

Arizona AUDIT – What Comes Next?
The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors for the 2020 Presidential Election has defied the Senate Subpoena and refused to provide the information which was ordered.
Sundance says
I think his correct. They do not think that there will be any consequences because they feel that the DOJ, and the State Attorney General will refuse to press charges.
That would be a very bad thing, because they have committed treason against Democracy in their State.

Some adverse reactions to the gene therapy spike protein that our media feel not worth telling us about – this is from a press conference held by U.S. Sen. I wonder how many here in Australia are suffering similar side effects? If there are none then there could be some truth in the rumour that most of the vaccines shots being given to people are fake or placebos. If that’s the case then the reason is even more diabolical; it’s to beat people into submission under a tyrannical regime. If only they were transparent so we would the truth.
60
First time I have heard that!
I doubt that. More likely the rates of adverse reaction so far are relatively low (but still higher than fully tested vaccines).
I don’t quite understand as yet why the rates of reactions are so low. It seems to me that if the vaccine recruits our own body cells to make virus protein and those proteins are displayed on the surface of the affected cells that the immune system should attack those poor cells. That is known as an auto immune reaction and it is said to be the cause of many baffling and difficult to treat diseases; lupus, Guillain Barre, rheumatoid arthritis, sjrogrens syndrome (just a few examples)
40
Not certain how low they are. I understand a Harvard study indicated that 90 percent of adverse events are NOT reported.
Yet this is from about one month ago. Any other vaccine would have been pulled long before now.

Farce mask: it’s safe for only 20 minutes
Sydney Morning Herald
This was published 18 years ago
Farce mask: it’s safe for only 20 minutes
April 27, 2003 — 10.00am
Retailers who cash in on community fears about SARS by exaggerating the health benefits of surgical masks could face fines of up to $110,000.
NSW Fair Trading Minister Reba Meagher yesterday warned that distributors and traders could be prosecuted if it was suggested the masks offered unrealistic levels of protection from the disease.
“I’m sure everyone would agree that it is un-Australian to profiteer from people’s fears and anxieties,” Ms Meagher said.
“There appears to be some debate about whether surgical masks are able to minimise the effects of SARS.”
Ms Meagher said her department would investigate any complaints about false mask claims which concerned the public.
“Penalties can range from fines of up to $22,000 for an individual or $110,000 for a corporation,” she said.
Health authorities have warned that surgical masks may not be an effective protection against the virus.
“Those masks are only effective so long as they are dry,” said Professor Yvonne Cossart of the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Sydney.
“As soon as they become saturated with the moisture in your breath they stop doing their job and pass on the droplets.”
Professor Cossart said that could take as little as 15 or 20 minutes, after which the mask would need to be changed. But those warnings haven’t stopped people snapping up the masks, with retailers reporting they are having trouble keeping up with demand.
Well, we know for an absolute fact the masks don’t work so let the fining of the government begin!

The recent data out of the UK showing the spread of Covid-19 suggests something else to me.
The infection started in the East Midlands and slowly ramped up with no such effect in other parts of the UK.
Then the other parts of the UK all ramped up pretty much together.
This suggests to me that the PCR test was detecting nothing more than a common cold which as it spread in the East Midlands lost its severity and infectious period. It was a slow increase.
Then as the authorities began to test more widely other people with that common cold were being tested positive. The result a huge spike it the number of ‘cases’.
50
Oh no…. Covid-19 cases in the UK dip like they did in a less vaccinated India https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-02125-1 There’s only one thing to do – press ahead with vaccine passports.

It was great to Australia represented in the 800m final at the Olympics. It shows highlights the value that immigrants bring to the country.
One of the memorable moments was watching his family watching his performance:
https://www.sbs.com.au/news/he-made-history-peter-bol-s-family-celebrates-the-australian-s-record-breaking-olympic-campaign
As I watched, it reminded me of an observation that my son made about large families in the Melbourne outbreak in 2020. It also appears that Victoria’s new immigrants have learnt valuable lessons from 2020 with three schools in the western suburbs pre-emptively sending students home ahead of Victoria’s 6th lockdown after a single teacher tested positive. Maybe lockdown 5.5 given that we did not get completely out of #5.

It certainly looked better than a rampage down Swanston St. I guess you could say things are looking up.

Senior UK Lawyer discusses serving notices of liability on vaccinators and potential criminal trials for Crimes against Humanity.
“We took enough witness evidence and looked at enough of the evidence – and as you know, with lawyers it has to become beyond reasonable doubt if you’re going to allege criminal activity – and it got to a point where, unfortunately, we reached the conclusion that it was beyond reasonable doubt,” de Buisseret said. After reviewing the definitions of genocide, crimes against humanity and biowarfare compared with what was going on, it was irrefutable. In April 2021 they made an urgent application to the International Criminal Court requesting an investigation of the UK government.

It’s inevitable something like that would happen. The only problem is officialdom will just change the rules and laws to create a tangled web that will keep the issue rolling around in courts forever. The only way out of all this mess is for whistle-blowers to expose the fraud similar to what happened to the tobacco companies.

SPC trying to mandate vaccines for employees and visitors? I prefer to buy Australian, but if they go through with the mandate I won’t be buying SPC, Ardmona and Goulburn Valley anymore. People who think it is ok to force medical treatment on others are scum. Firing employess if they don’t submit is as good as forcing them.

Agreed. I went for SPC products deliberately but now will ensure that I boycott them. Mandating the still highly experimental ‘vaccines’ into employees under the threat of job loss is totally unacceptable.

A lot less than say car accident deaths, and that’s even before one even attempts to adjust for instances where the deaths are mistakenly attributed to the COVID-19 virus. Yet they haven’t forced us to lockdown our cars and hand in the keys to the police. The disproportion nature and the hysteria from our officialdom is mind blowing.
30
BTW, I bet the number of suicides here due to the lockdowns, broken small businesses and the like far exceed the number of deaths due to the virus.
60
Peter, it is hard to quantify. This is the most articulate video I have found on the harms of the lockdowns. So much research should be being done on this, yet the Government statistics are very hard to find.

I am quite certain that most of the deaths described in this video were tested for the wuflu, and if found, reported as wuflu deaths. (In the US at least)
50
Notice that they are always described as ‘rare’.

The big ones may be described as “rare”, but evidence of micro-clots is pretty strong, and not at all good news for the future quality of someone’s life.

Mainstream Starting to Apologize for Propaganda
We shall see. It will be interesting if they all start folding one by one. Somehow I can’t see it happening but then again if enough doctors come out exposing the scam, and a few already have, then the MSM will have no choice. Then again governments will be reluctant to reverse since that would be exposed to massive law suits, at least in the US state courts. In that case they might turn more tyrannical and come up with yet another scam to take the heat off them.

This was on Bloomberg a month ago…
The evidence seems otherwise. Public Health Agencies are leading the pack in this instance, but all government bureaus and many political parties aren’t going to let this crisis go to waste. They have become addicted to being the experts that matter, and many of them have a worrisome authoritarian streak. Others seem prone to making a silly statement and then an even sillier walking back of that statement. The news media are beyond slimy. Please explain how we will return to normal with so many doing well from this pandemic?
70
I’m generally a centre-leftie, and generally pretty comfortable about following government direction, and the advice of public health officials with the expertise.
But as Melbourne goes into Lockdown 6.0 for a week – I’m really starting to question the strategy of halting a big slice of the economy … why? … because of five cases in the Western Suburbs?
I don’t understand why it’s not just as effective (and far less costly) to do contact tracing and targeted testing around those new cases, and mandate masks for the rest of us.
The idea that lockdowns do stop outbreaks might be set in stone inside state governments, but it might not be the only good strategy. And five cases is a tiny number – even 500 is pretty modest. It’s as if ZERO is the only policy outcome that will be tolerated, irrespective of the economic and community cost.

The crash of our society from Lockdown Loonacy has happened, it’s done.
All we are waiting for now are the screams of those whose lives have been torn apart by CV19 Induced heavy handedness.
Families separated at the final moment, businesses closed and crushed and ruined financially never to “bounce back”.
The ugly evidence of Data Weaving that enables bureaucrats and politicians to lead us to wherever they want.
This moment in human history is worse than ugly.

Keith, I was born in 1956. In just 50 years prior to my birth we had the Spainish flu, and WW1, The Great Depression, and WW2.
I thought my time mostly good fortune. ( Vietnam and a couple of serious recessions, smog, mostly cleaned up,and new math in school) Now I am greatly concerned that the Great Recession will look like a fine spring day compared to what is happening.
All the Best to all…
80
The problem is we seem to have tipped over the point in OZ where more than 50% are Government Teat in some way – Politician, Public Servants-Federal-State-Local Govt, welfare recipients etc
ScoMo from Marketing is throwing Taxpayer money to the winds as are State Premiers, but the Tax producers are being slaughted by Lockdowns with no thought to the Economy, because “we are not all in the game”

Keith its a calamity, but Australia will emerge into a new world order as a Covid free zone and those businesses that survive will thrive.
05
Yes,
The politicians and woke academics who infest our otherwise excellent universities will survive; but the actual people?
Previously;
“I was a bit stirred up yesterday afternoon after being convinced that the crash isn’t coming, it’s here.
A simple job, get some replacement printer ink cartridges.
After lucking out at the usual cheap spots I went to a formerly busy suburban complex that I hadn’t seen for a while.
Charleston. The place I was going to turned out to be shut, empty and all signage gone.
The shops and businesses that surrounded this one were all closed except a bank.
It was disturbing that eighteen months ago the spot was jumping, now a ghost town.
Gladys and Scomo can’t see this?
In the loop I made there were maybe fourteen closed businesses, with say five incomes derived from each of those.
Those seventy former income earners would provide for another one hundred or more dependants minimum.
On top of that you could assume that the building owners might have more than a bit of trouble repaying the bank loans and land and water rates.
This isn’t necessary, and there’s something inhumane about a nation that can treat farmers, workers and business operators in this callous manner.
People have a right to be angry but I suspect at the moment that they’re just stunned and can’t believe that it’s happening.”
Something will survive, but even the Gates are finding it tough.
80
Businesses will close, its unavoidable, but others will fill the void once the pandemic dissipates. At every ending there is always a new beginning and opportunities are everywhere.
07
Stop it el gordo. You’ve gone into full Pangloss mode -the future is beautiful claptrap.
And when you write something as mindless as “Keith its a calamity, but Australia will emerge into a new world order as a Covid free zone and those businesses that survive will thrive.” you could specify a date so I can organise my calendar around it.
40
So you say the weak, the timid, the dole bludgers will step up to the plate and work their asses off filling the void left as the current entrepreneurs crash and burn? Who will finance them? They will be underwater with their mortgages for starters as the housing market collapses when the banks foreclose on all the suckers who put their houses on the line.
I had my house on the line for 30 years. Will Joe Sixpack be willing to do that?

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/08/05/climate/biden-tailpipe-emissions-electric-vehicles.html
When the USA close their base load electric generation in favor of an increasingly unstable renewable effort, ‘energy storing’ gasoline will surge in popularity. Unreliable grid supply will become EVs greatest enemy.
Ironic
30
Sooner rather than later Americans, Europeans and Australians will be forced to realize that fossil fuel – nuclear- hydro power is a necessary evil.
Doesn’t matter if that stored energy is held in gas peaking plants, gas supplies to homes or automobile gas tanks. The advantage is to obtain energy away from the bare renewable grid. The ICE owner will boast that they are helping to keep renewable energy alive. The EV owners will curse their waits for recharge
70
My compromise to fight $5.00 gas in California is the Rav 4 Prime plug in Hybrid. Great little car.

Here in OZ Rav4 is Medium SUV – Small SUV is Yaris Cross or Really Small but cute Ultra Compact SUV Suzuki Ignis
However Great Choice

Gas here is CDN $1.40 per litre. Can go up and up before it makes a serious difference given the amount I drive

150 thousand mile warranty on the battery.
Paid 1500 US for an 8 year 125 platinum bumper to bumper warranty.
Toyota has a pretty good hybrid reliability record.

Step forward the noisome Edmund King. This jumped-up nobody has for many years been president of the Automobile Association (AA) which was founded in 1905 initially to help motorists avoid police speed traps.
Certainly, King is no friend to the ordinary driver. Rather, he is another Establishment toady who can never see a politically correct bandwagon without leaping upon it.
His response to Stratton’s remarks is a case in point. Instead of going (as any motorists’ champion would have done) “This electric car nonsense is a farce. Ordinary folk can’t afford electric cars. There aren’t enough charging stations. It’s going to cause chaos and deprive people of one of their most cherished freedoms”, King instead decided to furnish the electric car industry with a mimsy apologia.
Here’s what this creepy government shill told the Guardian:
Edmund King, president of the AA, said drivers ought to take a break after 200 miles driving, in any case. “Drivers covering long distances should take regular breaks to maintain safety, so this is the ideal time to charge the car. Range anxiety will continue to decrease with more chargers and improved range on new models.”
Would go well in Australia!
60
Requires a lifestyle change too. … Stay in heritige B&Bs. While away the recharge time with boutique shopping.
It’s the gentrification of automotive touring. Picnic baskets and alcohol free champagne
Electric power is the great leveller. The poor will pay so much more of their income to subscribe to Green Bonds. The rich will vacation on their electrified sailing yachts
People writing EV reviews today have the money to buy new $50k cars to afford to aave on $3 fill ups and shop at upscale supermarkets while they wait to recharge.

In this world you describe a family would spend more whiling away the time than the red neck ICE driver would filing with overpriced petrol AND being 50 miles further down the road.
The “road less travelled” would become the “road untravelled” and remote tourist towns would wither on the vine. Tell me how even The Alice could survive if petrol was banned. Race day, their one day of the year, would be a fizzer, assuming petrol was also banned for light aircraft. How would they maintain a police force even, and Alice needs more law and order than the average coastal town.
00
Yep, perhaps the road trip will shrivel up and fade away. Alternately the ICE vehicle will become the champion of off-service motoring
Rural communities will suffer substantially. Too much hassle for EVs to get out there
There is definitely more charging than just the automobile in a day’s outing with the EV. You know. It’s a lifestyle change. Better to invest in businesses close to many homes

This one seems to have slipped under the radar.
Get a jab — then you qualify for VAXLOTTO. I’m sure the irony of that name is lost on those pushing the scheme where 99.99% of vaccine recipients will end up as losers.
Kevin07’s very own think tank — the Grattan Institute — has recommended a VAXLOTTO scheme to encourage people to get the jab. Under the scheme 10 jackpots of $1 million each would be run weekly commencing Melbourne Cup Day over an eight week period. They’re getting more desperate to force vaccination onto us. This is even better than Labor’s $300 bribe.
Every vaccinated Australian would be in the draw each week (as well as people with a medical exemption to vaccination). People who have received one jab would have one chance each week and people who are fully vaccinated would have two.
Just think, if you win — assuming you haven’t succumbed to blood clots in the interim — you would have enough money to pay for your intensive nursing home care for your debilitating neurological condition for the rest of your short life. Someone to wipe the drool off your chin. Wow, what a great deal! Count me in.

Just finally catching up on the thread – re the stolen generations payment. No one has mentioned babies being forcibly removed from unmarried mothers well into the 1970’s. The numbers are multiples higher than the stolen generation. Crickets.

Horrid times, mans inhumanity knows no bounds.
00
Yes, I’d thought of that.
The discipline imposed on society pre 1970 would now be viewed as inhumane.
On the other side of the coin: we built a functional society.
It’s taken them fifty years to dismantle it.
Breaks my heart watching that all happen.
In the real world there’s no such thing as “free money” and parental responsibility is not something that’s optional.
The international climax to the decline of democracy is now on show in the U.S. where gun deaths, violent robberies and protest groups destroying the remains are a daily occurrence.
Some are pushing back, gently at the moment.

The mayhem experienced by our cousins across the great lake, has zip to do with us.
Throughout history there have been tumultuous times, war, pandemics and economic depressions. Humanity is extraordinarily adaptive and will recover from adversity.
The world economic system is running near zero interest, so something will materialise to replace the greenback. The fundamentals are sound.

Sky in hot water.
‘Sky News Australia will face a Senate inquiry next week after the broadcaster was suspended for seven days for posting numerous videos which violated YouTube’s Covid medical misinformation policies.
‘The hearing comes as former prime minister Kevin Rudd calls on the Australian media regulator to take a tougher line on the broadcasting of contentious Sky News material on subscription TV and free-to-air television in regional areas.’ (Guardian)

Rudd can go jump… petty little self-deluded non-entity that he is.

I am glad I didn’t reads it then (except the abstract).
I can’t afford minutes I can’t get back.

Strange that sea levels up to 2 meters higher then today during warmer periods of the present interglacial did not shut off the AMOC

It is a dynamical systems analysis with climate models superimposed
Boer’s publications explain where the author is coming from.
I enjoy the way that physical values derived from the climate models are coupled to the dynamical system stability analysis of the AMOC
(Sorry for the thought fragments. Have done some work in this. Might look further tomorrow)

it seems to go to a free online version. And that is how I saw it – I wasn’t using an institutional subscription.

‘A similar situation is believed to have happened when the Amoc stopped near the end of the Ice Age, with gas bubbles suggesting that the cold spell lasted around 1,000 years.’
Younger Dryas?
00
There is nothing in that article of particular value, very unscientific.
We need to pinpoint the exact date ‘near the end of the ice age.’

Did it really?
I agree, nothing of value.

Arctic meltwater chokes off the salinity driven cold water downwelling in the Norwegian Sea and the conveyor belt weakens. And according to Hatter Eggburn, “that’s where we are now in the cycle.”

Obviously if we go back to the time of christ we’ll get a better view. Might have something to do with global warming.

Bolling-Allerod
‘In recent years research tied the Bølling–Allerød warming to the release of heat from warm waters originating from the deep North Atlantic Ocean, possibly triggered by a strengthening of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (AMOC) at the time.
‘Study results which would help to explain the abruptness of the Bølling–Allerød warming, based on observations and simulations, found that 3°–5 °C Ocean warming occurred at intermediate depths in the North Atlantic over several millennia during Heinrich stadial 1 (HS1).
‘The authors postulated that this warm salty water (WSW) layer, situated beneath the colder surface freshwater in the North Atlantic, generated ocean convective available potential energy (OCAPE) over decades at the end of HS1.
‘According to fluid modelling, at one point the accumulation of OCAPE was released abruptly (c. 1 month) into kinetic energy of thermobaric cabbeling convection (TCC), resulting in the warmer salty waters getting to the surface and subsequently warming of c. 2 °C sea surface warming.’ (wiki)

Grenoand ice cap 280 km3 per year water loss
https://www.encyclopedia.com/environment/energy-government-and-defense-magazines/arctic-melting-greenland-ice-cap
twice as much fresh water from st. lawrence as from greenland ice cap if my calc is correct.
Hosing seems to be driven by precip over N.America and slightly overgreenland. Ice melt doesnt matter so much

Biden wants HALF the US cars sold to be electric by 2030.
Minnesota Governor Walz wants more before 2030.
I think a Road Service Electric Charging Station will be a profitable growth industry.
