Novaxx flouted the rules in Serbia , in Spain and used an error-prone “team member” to try the same stunt in Australia. Only Australia has had the political guts to call him out. Macron appears to be heading the same way. However this probably won’t have same impact on Novaxx as the Oz Open as Nadal is the master on clay. Of course Our Rod Laver is the real master ..on all surfaces. So Novaxx go rack up your big numbers on your favourite surface. Unfortunately you are chasing a second order goal …to be the genuine master show us wins of all four majors in a single year. At present Novaxx is simply demonstrating a mastery of arrogance which Australia has the guts to call out.

Australia Is Safe Again From Mortal Danger
We must take a moment to pay homage to the evil Serbian super spreader’s number one challenger Raphael Nadal. The daring Spaniard really showed why he’s Jesse Owens of sports today by bravely standing with the Australian government against the disgusting and dangerous Serb. “If he follows the rules, gets vaccinated, he has no problems,” said the Spaniard in all his brilliant insight. We know the bravest and most admired sportsballers of any era are always the ones who obey and do what they are told without asking any questions and Nadal is just another of these sportsballers to be cherished. He’s really the Muhammed Ali of our times.
Safety Demands Obedience
As an entire continent and millions of other critical thinkers around the world celebrate this historic victory over bodily autonomy and free choice, we must remember that safety is above all else the common goal we should all have in considering choices in life, not just our own safety, but the safety and feelings of others we’ve never met and never will meet. And as we all know, the only entity in the world with the ability to determine accurately what constitutes safety for all is the state. If the state demands that people do something in the name of safety they had better obey. If the state demands that people dispense with their ideas of liberty and autonomy in the name of safety and “good order”, it’s imperative that they obey.

Safety without freedom is the condition of imprisonment.

That has to have been photoshopped – surely we could not be that stupid in Australia?

OldOzzie, I looked at your photo, started to make my usual flippant comment…and them looked again. A uniformed officer, bloused boots, low hanging side arm, low ready position, stern countenance, and a sign stating you must wear a helmet to run. Why? Because someone in government has determined you might injure yourself if you run without a helmet. And the clear implication is lethal force is authorized. If a person resisted the officer will attempt to enforce. If I continue to resist, the attempt to enforce escalates. At some point I will be killed by the officer. Why? For the reason that I chose to run on the beach without a helmet because I might hurt myself. (Now, for the flippant comment. Nothing scares me more than a woman with a gun.)
20
Yes, and a pretty poor photoshop effort too. !

OUR Pollies flout the rules, blatantly, lots of times.
NO PENALTY.
30
John,
AI do not understand the logic of your paradigm. You are cheering the banning of the professional athlete Novak Djokovic from the Australian Open Tennis tournament. Why?
Novak could have been granted a limited visa to enable him to attend the Australian open. He would then because he is not vaccinated, would have been required to leave Australia. Very simple, no risk to Australians, good for the tournament, good for the Australian economy. No losses.
Cancelling Novak’s visa had a cost to Australians and it came just as Omicron defeated covid. The vaccines did not defeat covid. They do not provide T-cell protection and after 6 months provide no protection against covid.
The Australian government has a job to do. They are not doing it. The vaccines are dangerous and do not work. Stop ‘worrying’ about one professional tennis player. Stop forcing Australians to be vaccinated.
John said, “Only Australia has had the political guts to call him out.” What guts? This is courage? Come on.
You view this issue as a fight. Why? What is the fight about?
Britain/UK are floating the idea that all covid restrictions in their country … no more vaccine passes, no more forced masks, and so on.. will be dropped by March. This change is being proposed because Omicron will give the UK general population long term T-cell protection against all Covid virus strains.
Omicron is so contagious it cannot be stopped when it is endemic in a country by masks. Same as the common cold or flu. Omicron is so contagious it will be and is the dominate strain of covid. Omicron is roughly as dangerous as the flu. Omicron is killing the same very ill people who die from the flu.
What I have stated is the medical reality of Covid/Omicron. Omicron is a paradigm changer.
270
Hi William,
Good to be corresponding with someone not hiding their comments behind a wall of anonymity.
My point is about the reason Novak wants to come to Australia…not the medical and other uncertainties that the “gain of function” enthusiasts created when they fiddled with bat virae.
The reference to arrogance reflects Novak’s flouting of the rules in Serbia (reference the initial comments by their PM), the flouting of rules in Spain and the team member’s attempt to fill in the visa application for Australia. What is driving this guy to act in this fashion. Could it be that he desperately needs an Oz Open win to proclaim himself as the greatest ever seen? Any other game and it would be “three strikes and you are OUT”
My view is that true tennis mastery was demonstrated by Rod Laver… the talent to win on all four grand slam surfaces in the same year…against the leading players of his era. Obviously I don’t see the racking up of impressive tallies of wins on favourite surfaces over a number of years as “mastery” in the sense I attribute to Laver.
It would appear that France will also question Novak’s presence at their grand slam event.
Good to see that the courage lacking in Serbia and Spain but on display in Australia and potentially in France is still around.

Australia Is Safe Again From Mortal Danger
Rules are rules and today the brave people of Australia should be thankful the Australian government in all its wisdom is willing to enforce those rational and carefully thought out rules against a mortal danger that had infiltrated their nation and threated their compliant populace as a walking vector of negligence and disobedience.
Not since Imperial Japan threatened to invade the continental former penal colony have the courageous people of Australia been so close to existential devastation.
Who does this Serbian super spreader think he is getting his visa approved before his journey and showing up without the vaccine, the one and only effective miracle to keep all Australians safe? The arrogance of a man to think the rules do not apply to him just because he’s seen hundreds of athletes dropping dead by coincidence and dares mistake it for the safe and noble vaccine. How dare he!
How dare he lie on his visa application form. He was seen on social media with the sniffles in Spain on December 16 with other people and the impertinence to lower his mask for a photo shoot, then travelled with the sniffles and maybe even a headache to Serbia to spend Christmas with family and back to Spain again! How many people did he endanger with his traveling sniffles antics? And he has the audacity to think he can get away with it and endanger an entire continent just because he’s the nine time champion of their largest sporting event and has brought the nation hundreds of millions of dollars over the years. No man is above the servitude and obedience of the common Australian, certainly not a Serbian Sniffles Super Spreader who threatens to overturn the highly effective zero covid policy the nation has embraced to great success!

They didn’t blame the computer.
Frydenberg simply said the application is online and issuing a visa is based on the answers provided by the applicant. When the applicant can’t substantiate the answers on arrival they are denied entry.
Unfortunately the article stretches the truth in a few areas.
I think the border vaccination rule is stupid. I’m against compulsory or coerced vaccinated. So I don’t make the above comments with an agenda on either side of the vaccination debate. I say it because it irritates me when any publication twists the facts and I’m disappointed that Breitbart does it because I generally like their stuff.

FedEx asks FAA permission to add missile-defense system to A321 freighter
American cargo airline FedEx is seeking permission from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to install a laser-based missile-defense system on its cargo aircraft.
In the filing dated January 7, 2022, the Department of Transportation of the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that FedEx had asked permission to modify the Airbus A321-200 aircraft by installing the system.
In the document, the FAA stated that FedEx applied for a specific type certificate, which would allow the company to modify the commercial transport-category plane in October 2019. At the time, FedEx asked permission to install “a system that emits infrared laser energy outside the aircraft,” the FAA filing reads.
There have been a number of incidents in recent years where civilian planes have been targeted by man-portable air defense systems. As a result, laser-based missile defense systems began to be installed on aircraft in order to protect them against heat-seeking missiles.
However, the FAA shared safety concerns about the implementation of such a system.

Foreign Airlines Begin Canceling Flights To U.S. Over 5G Interference Concerns;
Data Companies Respond
Several foreign airlines announced on Tuesday that they have started to cancel flights to the United States over concerns that 5G networks deployed near airports could cause interference issues.
“Emirates Airline said it would suspend flights to nine U.S. cities,” The Wall Street Journal reported. “Japan Airlines Co. and All Nippon Airways Co. said Boeing had advised them not to operate the 777 to the U.S. in light of 5G deployment. Air India also announced the cancellation of some U.S.-bound flights operated by 777 jets.”
Emirates said in a statement that it was suspending the flights “due to operational concerns associated with the planned deployment of 5G mobile network services” and that “customers holding tickets with the final destination to any of the above will not be accepted at the point of origin.”
Japan Airlines, Nippon Airways, and Air India all released similar statements.
Specifically, the Federal Aviation Administration is worried that 5G cellular antennas near some airports — not air travelers’ mobile devices — could throw off readings from some aircraft equipment designed to tell pilots how far they are from the ground. Those systems, known as radar altimeters, are used throughout a flight and are considered critical equipment.
Major service providers released statements on Tuesday afternoon announcing that they would delay or limit the deployment of the new 5G technology for the time being.
“At our sole discretion we have voluntarily agreed to temporarily defer turning on a limited number of towers around certain airport runways as we continue to work with the aviation industry and the FAA to provide further information about our 5G deployment, since they have not utilized the two years they’ve had to responsibly plan for this deployment,” a spokesman for AT&T said in a statement. “We are frustrated by the FAA’s inability to do what nearly 40 countries have done, which is to safely deploy 5G technology without disrupting aviation services, and we urge it do so in a timely manner. We are launching our advanced 5G services everywhere else as planned with the temporary exception of this limited number of towers.”

Is the UK about to halt vaxxing?
Another global shockwave?
135
Why do you ask?
170
But will the UK eliminate the vaxx passport?
20
Mass psychosis. A hospital system, in a major city, run by the (self-described) ‘best and brightest’, terminates unvaccinated workers, many of whom test positive for antibodies having had COVID, then repair their staff shortage by asking staff testing positive (tho vaccinated) to come to work anyway so long as they wear a mask. Ability to accept that this is OK is a form of mental illness.
It is reasonable to suggest that the unvaxxed probably share a bevy of other characteristics.
Most organizations follow the Pareto principle, stated colloquially as “20% of the people do 80% of the work”. I have a suspicion that the terminated unvaxxed are dis-proportionally represented in that 20% and that organizations losing these folks will be disadvantaged relative to those providing new opportunities for them. I think its a sheep and goats thing.
I’ll bet on the goats.
A second thought. Many kids have been severely damaged by two years of remote non-learning. There may be hell to pay when it is finally realized that a majority have been children of color……… how’d that happen, again? It didn’t, in Florida, by the way.
460
In France they booted all the Protestant Hugenots out in a religious purge ( a comparison of the covid cargo cult comes to mind…) and as a result the French economy lost a lot of its bankers and skilled people and collapsed…..own goal….
Can the unvaxxed set up a free trade zone on an island off the coast of Oz…..like the Channel Islands of old?
Our family were descended from Hugenots, btw.
341
Not in Australia. It is far better to have more parental involvement in educating children than leaving them to teachers. The curriculums that teachers are required to teach are better described as propaganda as opposed to education – the ability to think independently.
If teaching is not the wokest of all professions, it is close to it. Without strong parental influence, children inevitably display the cumulative neurotic traits of their teachers over the years. It is not to say parents are neurosis free but they have true interest in the learning ability of their children rather than indoctrinating them into what is currently fashionable.
286
Absolutely! The world would be better if all children were home-schooled. The advantages given to the better & middle students would far outweigh the disadvantages suffered by the worst.
I’s settle for just getting Govt out of education, they do nothing be hold it back. Let anyone set up a private school teaching what parents want their children to learn and let the non-academic kids go to work at 14. They can catch up at TAFE after working for a few years and finding out what they really want to do.
That way we may get more adults at 19 & 20 instead of these perpetual children we have these days.
273
Home learning follows the curriculum.
219
But it is how the curriculum is interpreted that makes all the difference.
240
“Home learning follows the curriculum.” But without the schoolteachers political influence, and with the opportunity for counterbalance by the parents.
130
Home schooling cannot compare to a functioning education system such as the one we had here in Australia until the early 1970s.
300
because?
01
carper, THINK! Would the children of the WOKE get better home schooling? The kids would do better running around in the open air – except that the governments are trying to ban that.

So! The Spell Checker bug strikes.

I dont have trouble thinking but thanks for the interjection. I just wonder what backed up his assertion.

Has anyone heard/know of a test that reveals antibody presence after the person has had Covid ??? Previous Vaccinations eg Hep B a blood test will indicate the persons immunity level and IF the vaccine is successful ? A blood test for Covid antibodies “should” be available ….If not….Why not ?????

Important point – they appear to have calculated percentages in such a way as it kind of de-ephasises the actual figures.
Apologies for the dots, its the only ay I can maintain a table formatting.
On page 8
“Table 6. Hospitalisations, ICU admissions and deaths among cases diagnosed with COVID-19, by vaccination status, NSW,
from 26 November 2021 to 1 January 2022”

The real story here is the Hospitalised and in ICU (% of total cases) figure
Fully vaxxed : 104
Part vaxxed : 8
No dose/unvax : 42
So again, we are seeing a reasonably consistent 2/3 vaxxed and 1/3 unvaxxed in hospital and in cases.
We see this in the UK and USA as well.
101
Possibly a small problem in your conclusion. We do not know that those in the Hospitalised and in ICU category are un-vaxxed. This 42 figure could be the result of a ‘treatment’ in the last 21 days.
There is sound basis for this proposition apart from the obvious that NSW Health has chosen to no longer disclose the readily available data for the Unvax category. The basis is the high rate of infection for the 0-11 (12,328) yet low ICU (3) and zero deaths.
The deaths could be therefore occurring in the jabbed & recently jabbed category.
120
“So again, we are seeing a reasonably consistent 2/3 vaxxed and 1/3 unvaxxed in hospital and in cases.”
The figures of column 3 are the ones, 1.2% of vaxxed patients in hospital, 4.2% of part-vaxxed and 9% of unvaxxed.
So if you are fully vaxxed you have a 1 in 100 chance of ending up in hospital once you catch it.
If you’re unvaxxed its a 1 in 10.
Do the side-effects of the vaccine make up that difference?
Who are the unvaxxed? Poor, poor health? Elderly? People who had their Ivermectin seized at Customs? Bloody-minded couch potatoes sitting on their computers all day?
That’s a big difference in going to hospital once you have it.
29
The figures tell a different story
look at 2nd column – “Hospitalised (% of total cases)”
Fully vaccinated……………1280
Partially vaccinated………..47
no effective dose(unvaxxed?)…251
I’d read that as you have a roughly 5:1 ratio in this case, of vaxxed:unvaxxed actually in hospital.
What is important is the total number of cases in the community. Thats the bit that is important.
Now in this case, we have no way in knowing the actual split up of the figures within the “no effective dose” category between those jabbed withn the last 21 days and those who arent vaxxed at all. The document doesnt say.
However if we are very generous and say “no effective dose” is all unvaxxed, its a roughly 5:1 ratio.
In ICU its more of a 3:1 ratio of vaxxed:unvaxxed.
And as Geert Vanderboshe has said ( if I understood correctly) covid is a disease of the unhealthy, or words to that effect.
So in terms of those in hospital with pre-existing co-morbidities I cant say.
110
most diseases cull the weak and unhealthy first/most severely, surely this isnt news is it?
140
KP
More likely people who understand that you have a choice in not participating in the trial of an experimental medical procedure. Those who have chosen to join this study and participate have been subjected to what appears to be coercion and conditioning. A narrative based on ‘Fear Porn’ available on repeat from all mainstream communication sources. In such a state they appear to make the mistake you have of over looking the obvious.
It doesn’t matter how many people are vaccinated in the general population when you look at these figures. Forget the ‘No effective dose’ slight of hand. Look at the 0 to 11 age group. They are catching the cold virus and not being seriously affected as was anybody under 50 before vaccination was made available.
I would suggest if you cannot understand this basic concept you are developing cult like behaviour and should engage in appropriate treatment. May I suggest searching ‘Kool-aid’ or Heavens Gate, look at the images and learn that these people were not your ‘Couch potatoes’, yet they still queued up for their dose and experienced the ‘rapture’.
60
Steve,
They do not advise the most important “confounding” factor – co-morbidities and age . I would wager the majority of ICU patients have serious health issues or are elderly . The devil is always in the details and the government and media are spinning this as hard as they can . Thanks for the link.
50
Thank you for your work….I agree with your findings and have observed similar.
WHY are the Health “experts” and Gov.officials not reporting the truth ??
Hazzard came out again today stating that majority of deaths are “unvaxxed” people !!
Qld figures released today….11 deaths 7 were tripled vaxxed (boosters)
2 doubled vaxxed
2 unvaxed.
Someone is not telling the truth in this Country……..!!
Where is thee useless media ????
60
Table 6 on page 8 of the report will answer your question:
https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Documents/covid-19-surveillance-report-20220113.pdf
With the mix of Delta and Omicron in NSW for the last week of 2021, an unvaccinated person with covid was 15 times more likely to end up in ICU than a vaccinated person. 104 out of 108k versus 42 out of 2765. The likelihood of dying was 12 times higher if unvaccinated. The death rate among vaccinated was 0.022% – similar to ‘flu.
Other tables indicate that vaccines do not provide much protection against getting omicron but are still effective in lowering the risk of getting delta, which was about half the cases in the week of the report.
420
but not in scotland apparently.
48
I have not looked at the Scottish data.
A surprising proportion of people have difficulty understanding population proportions. Most get the idea that if 100% are vaccinated then everyone in hospital, for whatever reason, will be vaccinated. Once it is 95% vaccinated, it simply becomes too complicated to work out proportions so they look for a simple answer.
Covid should be done and dusted by the end of March this year so there will be opportunity to review how different strategies worked.
56
What was the comorbidity status of those who died, including Vitamin D deficiency?
170
David you want data but you are addressing Dr statistics, you won’t get that from him/her/it.
60
you have no problem with the fact that in that month only 2.5% of the cases were unvaccinated? (using the perverted term for ‘vaccine’ here). the under investigation must be removed (more likely single shot due to slow recording) and so must single shot. it leaves the 2 figures of 108056 vaccinated and 2765 unvax. so about 2.5%, are there only 2.5% left unvaxxed? doubt it, probably more like 5-10% in those age groups.
so lets consider the pfizer party line of what was it? 82% efficacy or some crap like that, so it should be some 6 times more unvaxxed in hospital than vaxxed. hmm, so lets presume the vax does nothing to prevent or spread. this is where we are back at, save the hospitals they shout while not improving them, mandate/get the vax to protect your loved ones they say on tv. pathetic.
00
So its official.
The “fully vaccinated” are 71 times more likely to be infected than the “no effective dose” people.
Oh for somebody in the media with an enquiring mind.
220
Media? Mind?
Hive mind is about where it is at.

I would encourage everyone to download those pdf reports from the NSW health web site and keep copeis each week.
They are also great talking points for people who dont believe that the figures could be as they are, especially those who “appeal to authority” or go “nah…its just some loopy theory”…
100
For anyone able to understand the data, the reports provide compelling support for the value of vaccination. Australia has fared extremely well due to the combination of border controls, lockdowns and now vaccinations.
It appears omicron is near the peak and death rates are now very low, at least among vaccinated.
Unvaccinated 15 times more likely to end up in ICU and 12 times more likely to end up dead – see table 6 of the report. The week 52 data for NSW shows better results than the original phase 3 trials for the vaccines.
427
mmmm very scary, also the overwhelming majority of people wont get near a hospital, let alone an ICU let alone die
110
How on earth did you come up with that conclusion RW?
80
How come there are so many red thumbs for this comment? Rick Will is absolutely quoting from the data presented by NSW Health. Although there may be more vaccinated than unvaccinated in hospital we are starting from a basis of 95% (or almost) double vaccinated to 5% unvaccinated. You have to look at the percentage of each group in hospital to get the true picture, as RW has done. I have looked at the report and he is quite correct.
711
I’m not sure how people arrive at “vaccines are great” when at a high level the figures for the ICU are vaxxed 2/3 and unvaxxed 1/3 of the cases in ICUs. Vaccines suppress symptoms, but dont stop people getting the disease.
Logically, its a case against the vaccines, when youre almost 3 times more likely as a vaccinated person to wind up in ICU than an unvaccinated person.
I would be curious to get the basic medical background on every ICU case though – were they immuno compromized, elderly, existing co-morbidities?
50
I gave up on stats a long time ago when I decided to be a full-time sports-punter.
After a long time investigating all manner of systems, methods etc for nailing winners, I realized that the “average” was an amalgamation of so many individual situations that you could never hope to “predict the future accurately” with the average.
Something along the lines of “One hand in freezing water; the other in boiling water = two nice warm hands on average.”
My take is that unvaxed Novak Djokovic is NOT 15 times more likely than some unfit vaxed slob to end up in ICU with Covid if both get SARS-CoV2 infected. Am I just CWAAZEEE?
130
Look here from data from Scotland courtesy of Notrickszone.
https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Documents/covid-19-surveillance-report-20220113.pdf
60
OOPS!!! wrong link but still useful. Here’s the Scotland link.
https://notrickszone.com/2022/01/17/scotlands-fully-vaccinated-now-twice-as-likely-to-be-infected-and-50-more-likely-to-die/
20
Maybe these unvaccinated people had underlying issues and did not want to get vaccinated because of the risk of side effects. It would be very interesting to know how many people with underlying issues have died with Coronavirus. And yes, the results from Scotland show a much more different picture………………….
30
I think if the governments don’t allow the narrative to do anything strenuous, like play soccer or tennis, the narrative will be ok.
50
There is something terribly wrong with that NSW surveillance report table on page 29 (Hospitalisations, ICU admissions and deaths among cases diagnosed with COVID-19, by vaccination status, NSW, from 1 January 2020 to 25 November 2021)
The table shows a similar death rate for Covid-19 cases regardless of vaccination status.
If you’re infected and hospitalised that changes dramatically- if you’re fully or partially vaccinated and hospitalised then you are twice as likely to die than if you are hospitalised with no effective vaccination.
If you are fully vaccinated and in ICU, you are three times more likely to die than your no effective vaccination counterpart.
Could this be an anomaly arising from the “Under Investigation” vaccination status?
Have NSW Health being fiddling the data to give a false impression that the unvaccinated are disproportionately likely to be hospitalised or in ICU by assigning a third of vaccinated cases to the “Under Investigation” category?
What do you think?
200
What table – there are 31 pages and almost every page has a table.
Table 6 shows on page 8 unvaccinated are 15 times more likely to end up in ICU and 12 times more likely to end up dead after contracting covid than a vaccinated individual. More effective than the Phase 3 trials for the vaccines.
615
The table to which I referred is on page 29 of 31, and is the last data table in the report.
100
The final table covers finalised cases over a 2-year period- Table 6 covers one month of data and includes finalised and unfinalised cases at the delta-omicron transition.
You certainly shouldn’t use Table 8 to compare death rates. Eg using the table to estimate case fatalities leads to a case fatality rate of 0.02%.
71
So you are lumping together pre vaccine, during vaccination, and post vaccination data? Why?
016
You clearly have asked that question without even a cursory examination of the table- why?
The table has some limited data covering the first 18 months, but the detailed summary covers a 6-month period from June 2021.
Moreover, I did not do any “lumping together”. It was all done by NSW Health for their reporting purposes.
190
Why? It’s called creative accounting.
20
Its typical leftist strategy – create confusion, then sit back and watch people straighten thier mess out.
Its very droll.
50
NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant has given some more information about the 36 people who died from COVID-19 in the latest daily reporting period.
“Of the 22 men and 14 women, 33 were vaccinated and three were not. Those who were vaccinated had “generally” not received a booster shot, Dr Chant said.
“Three people who died were aged under 65 – including one person in their 40s – and two of these people were not vaccinated. All three had “underlying serious health conditions”, the Chief Health Officer added.
120
Thanks Hannibal.
Less thanks to Dr Chant. However the limited information there does help to fill out the picture.
40
“Those who were vaccinated had “generally” not received a booster shot, Dr Chant said.”
Weasel words if ever I’ve read them.
150
It all goes to demonstrate that the fear of many vaccinologists and epidemiologists that the declining efficacy of the vaccines may end up with negative efficacy was justified. If you are vaccinated and intend to continue with endless boosters expect to go on a roller coaster of vaccine efficacy, with declining periods of efficacy between successive boosters.

Regardless of people who think Ivermectin is ineffective when used for covid treatment or prophylaxis when used according to published protocols, why should the option be taken away from willing patients?
At the very worse, it’s harmless and one of the world’s safest drugs.
It is extremely immoral and dangerous for Australia, one of the world’s most comprehensive Nanny States and most fantical follower of UN/WHO decrees to ban this drug.
570
” why should ”
I think the reasoning is that if you have Ivermectin (and/or X, Y, Z) then you won’t want the vaxx.
The world is doing a massive experiment. I am most concerned with the lack of schooling, especially the early years.
230
That’s twisted reasoning and the wrong goal.
If you don’t want the vaxx then you might want ivermectin.
The objective is not to force everyone to “want the vaxx”.
The objective is to avoid the virus, cure the infected, save lives, and keep people healthy.
Obviously the government approved vaccines are not achieving that, nor are exorbitant fines, lockdowns, masks, or police brutality.
Ivermectin is working in countries where it’s used.
120
Because just like Novak and the tennis saga, the mere presence of these safe options might cause “anti-vax sentiment” among the sheep.
290
My understanding is that, in the US at least, “experimental” vaccines may only be used if no other effective treatment is available. By banning Invermectin and any other treatment the use of the range of vaccines, which have not gone through long term testing and are still classed as experimental, can be authorised.
I suspect the regulations are the same or similar in Australia and many other western jurisdictions, thus the ban.
200
your understanding PeterPetrum is exactly the information that l have heard/seen myself
“that an EUA is only allowed if there is no other treatment available”
l heard that information from a Doco at the start of the plandemic regarding information about the rules of the world being able to have EUA’s in place according to the WHO
what it means is if there is a treatment you cannot have an EUA (emergency use authorisation)
so like the PCR that the EUA has been taken away recently so it is not a recognised test for covid if or when the EUA is taken away for the Jabs there will be no Vaccine for covid
another reason for banning Ivermectin is the absurd contracts the Governments of the world have signed up for that has clauses stating that there cannot be any other treatments but the so called vaccines
it is a big can of worms that will cost us all for generations

You can blame Greg Hunt for taking away HCQ and Invermectin(at the behest of Clouse Shwabe at the WEF)Why you might ask????????MONEY………So,we have to suffer so that these f*^#*ing morons can feather their own nests.

You won’t see this on the Misleadia but here are two very good scientific analyses of the volcanic explosion near Tonga.

Hey Warmists, why aren’t you complaining about the “greenhouse gases” and particulate pollution emitted by this volcano?
I haven’t yet seen the volcano blamed on “climate change”. Warning to Leftists: That is NOT a challenge!
250
Pedant Alert:
Tonga is pronounced exactly like the Aussie donga with a soft ‘g’, not a hard ‘g’ as in finger. If I hear one more Pom say Ton-gah I’m gonna [snip] 🙂
Apart from that minor gripe, there’s some exceptional science of the geological, hydrological, atmospheric kind out there re this volcano. Has the ash cloud arrived in Queensland yet?
110
We’ve had unusual stuff overhead here in NovoCastria for last two days. Don’t know if it’s from the volcano or just a super humid cloudy phase.
Can’t see the horizon.
80
Its likely to have an influence on climate.
‘The Tonga volcano is near 21S latitude therefore more likely to initially influence the southern hemisphere but eventually the northern hemisphere.
‘The Tonga Volcano VEI classification is certain to be at least 4 and possibly 5 which automatically qualifies the volcano as a likely influencer of global climate. Early speculation is that Tonga is the strongest volcanic eruption since Pinatubo in 1991.’ (Climate Impact Company)
20
Keith, saw something on windy.com yesterday which tracked sulphur dioxide in the air and ‘the cloud’ was heading westward on the SE trades: Queensland and PNG were well-and-truly ‘under the influence’ so you guys in NSW may be too.
Ex-TC Cody had dragged some of it away from NZ and off down to the south-east of us, though last night’s sunset had a little more ‘colour’ to it than usual.

What with unjabbed teachers being sacked and many of the fully jabbed being absentee due to having contracted the Big O or self isolating because of close contact, the start of the 2022 school year should be an interesting scenario example of The Law of Unintended Consequenses. More damning, though, is the profligate waste of trained teacher resources as a result of sacking those teachers who weighed up the risks versus benefits of the jabs, then validly and morally making the informed decision not to get jabbed.
280
Just a data point.
I got back yesterday afternoon from a quick trip to Howlong to indulge in an activity which is unlawful for me in Victoria. Yes, I played golf on a golf course.
On the way north I stopped in Seymour for KFC. Masks compulsory in the shop and I was forbidden from “dining in” so I sat outside and ate there. I also stopped in Wangaratta for a McDonalds ice cream. The signage was confusing but I think it was lawful to order take away but not lawful to sit and eat it so again I sat outside.
Then came the dreaded moment approaching the NSW border. Lo and behold no police, no barricades, not even a sign forbidding my entry. The motel required a mask in the office but not elsewhere. The golf course shop required masks but not outdoor. The clubhouse required a phone based government check in and paper based liquor licensing signing in. Of the 20 or 30 patrons none were wearing masks but the bar staff were. The bar staff advised that I needed a mask until I sat down to enjoy my drink. The evening meal was booked out with perhaps 100 patrons wearing masks until they sat down to eat.
And much to my surprise I shot even par for the round which is seven better than my handicap. All that enforced indoor practice in my back yard shed has paid off.
What an odd world we currently inhabit. And of course none of these golf courses on the NSW side of the Murray River would exist had Victoria not forbidden poker machines all those years ago. The unintended consequences of government just go on and on.

You where probably more at risk from the fast food and getting out of your car in Seymour than Omicron.

..and I read them trumpeting South Australia making a world record of 6days having ruinables produce enough power on average to run the State.
The big lifting was done by rooftop solar, and nowhere in the article did it elaborate on “average”. They did make a point of how they produced more power than was needed at times, but not of how the power went off when the sun went down.
I’m sure there are people out there who believed it all.
Along with Europe’s woes (they just have to open the Nordstream, its a voluntary situation they’re in..) are South Africa’s again. They are shutting down the Koeberg 2 reactor for a fuel change & new generators, taking 5 months, and after that they will do the same on reactor 1. At close to 1000MW each, it makes a big hole in their generating capacity.

Australia’s NBN is a classic example of why politicians shouldn’t be allowed to make engineering decisions.
In my area last night there was a supposedly scheduled outage for maintenance.
After that the Internet worked but not the home phones.
To make the home phones work I had to first restart the terminal adapter (black box connected to coax cable from the street) and then the modem.
The system should be self-resetting. Less technically-oriented people than I might find themselves without a working home phone for emergencies which will be a problem if they can’t find their mobile.
170
We went on the NBN satellite side in 2017.
Why? Well I went to bed one night with Telstra wireless access and the next morning had none. Three “ear flatteners” later the woman on that call said
“Do you have a black modem?”, which we did. Seems there had been an overnight upgrade which nixed those. And Telstra wasn’t interested in providing a replacement unless a new 24 month contract.
I mentioned that the NBN was knocking on the door and got probably the best ever advice from Telstra –
“See what they can do – they’ll be cheaper than us”.
I signed up for the slowest NBN service (not being heavy video etc users).
It has been reliable and, for our uses, about as fast as the wireless link was. Only downside is that rain can put itout when you want to check the weather radar.
70
The lesson is that you should treat a home phone connected to the NBN just the same as solar or wind power. It’s sometimes there, sometimes not, and absolutely do not rely on it for a mission critical application such as in the case of a phone, calling police, fire or ambulance.
130
Depends
People around here have shifted our land line accounts to our internet provider. Same land line system, lower cost.
Some have tried the VOIP option and given it away as not viable.
The landline system is HRCS radio and our provider’s technical side is not up to speed on that.
Most recently we had a 25 hour black out. About 6 hours before that ended we lost both landline and mobile reception. I reported the loss of landline and both came back on about half an hour later. Our official land line channel got in contact for details of the outage about 3 days later.
The most common lack of service problem seems to be fixed with a remote reset. I used to have the Telstra radio email to get that to happen but direct contact no longer allowed.
The HRCS system is approaching its use by date and story is that Telstra is running out of techs that know it.
I’m glad it isn’t me. We were having noise like someone welding alongside. I was told that we are one of something like 90-odd radio towers and the fault can be in any one.
20
We have VOIP replacing old twisted pair landline and it is pretty lousy – hard to hear, obviously aways out when NBN out, which with Old HFC Telstra cable, frequently see NBN working in surrounding Telstra pits in our area – annoying thing is Optus Cable under power lines still in place out front and I had run both Telstra HFC Cable and Optus HFC Cable underground to the house
00
Thanks for explaining Ian. I thought something like that was going on. I am remote rural and there is NO mobile phone coverage. The landline has been out about 8 times in a few months. When it rains or there is a storm about it dies half a day later. Each time it just needed something done at the nearby (15 km away) exchange so it is not a problem with copper between home and the exchange. Reception is much worse now via landline. Landline has been out about a fortnight now, and was only on for a few days before being out for a week. I suspected the copper system might have gone to partial radio system. I have two way satellite internet. I have got voice over internet to my iphone, but the reception breaks up so they can only hear less than half my words most of the time. Also the road is out and the council in its infinite wisdom has decided in this shire that it cant fix roads any more so does not. So not only am I unlikely to be able to phone an ambulance, it cant get here even if I did.
20
You shouldn’t need a mobile to back up your land line. I don’t have one so I will be restricted in what I can do going forward.
62
Not sure how you link politicians to low level technical functions. Will have to check if the mother in law is online , she insists on having a home phone.
40
Because it was Gillard that decreed it should be done and it was not done with proper technical consultation and the market place was already implementing appropriate solutions. They just started throwing money around. As a result we have a technically poor, slow and very expensive system. Parliament even had to pass a law to tax 5G data networks in the event that they became too cheap and too popular as competition to NBN.
80
So its Gillards fault your network needed rebooting? OK
21
“Hey Warmists, why aren’t you complaining about the “greenhouse gases” and particulate pollution emitted by this volcano?”
Why would warmists complain as volcanic eruptions cool rather than heat the troposphere?
The most significant climate impacts from volcanic injections into the stratosphere come from the conversion of sulfur dioxide to sulfuric acid, which condenses rapidly in the stratosphere to form fine sulfate aerosols. The aerosols increase the reflection of radiation from the Sun back into space, cooling the Earth’s lower atmosphere or troposphere.
https://www.usgs.gov/programs/VHP/volcanoes-can-affect-climate
Particles of Dust and Ash
Volcanic ash or dust released into the atmosphere during an eruption shade sunlight and cause temporary cooling. Larger particles of ash have little effect because they fall out of the air quickly. Small ash particles form a dark cloud in the troposphere that shades and cools the area directly below. Most of these particles fall out of the atmosphere within rain a few hours or days after an eruption. But the smallest particles of dust get into the stratosphere and are able to travel vast distances, often worldwide. These tiny particles are so light that they can stay in the stratosphere for months, blocking sunlight and causing cooling over large areas of the Earth.
Greenhouse Gases Emitted by Volcanoes
Volcanoes also release large amounts of greenhouse gases such as water vapor and carbon dioxide. The amounts put into the atmosphere from a large eruption doesn’t change the global amounts of these gases very much. However, there have been times during Earth history when intense volcanism has significantly increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and caused global warming.
https://scied.ucar.edu/learning-zone/how-climate-works/how-volcanoes-influence-climate
314
“significantly increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and caused global warming.”
A statement of baseless conjecture, unbacked by any scientific proof.
There is no scientific evidence that atmospheric CO2 causes warming.
170
“There is no scientific evidence that atmospheric CO2 causes warming.”
Rubbish. Look the atmosphere of Venus
115
Well there is that nearby star thing.
60
No scientific awareness.
Mercury.
Venus.
Earth.
Mars.
Jupiter.
Saturn.
Youranus.
Neptune.
Pluto. It’s cold out here.
40
“No scientific awareness”.
Venus is warmer than Mercury. That you don’t seem to know that doesn’t say much for your scientific awareness. As for writing Youranus primary school humour. Why am I not siurprised?
03
You seem very confused, Ian
Venus’s surface is warmer because of it’s deep, dense atmosphere.
40
Venus?
You seem to know nothing about the effect of atmospheric mass.
At an altitude where the atmospheric pressure is the same as on Earth, Venus is exactly the temperature it should be for its distance from the sun
There is no evidence of CO2 warming on Venus..
Its surface temperature is to do with atmospheric mass.
Learn some basic physics so you don’t continue to make ludicrous anti-science statements.
110
I knew you wouldn’t understand and as expected you didn’t. Read what I wrote which was
” However, there have been times during Earth history when intense volcanism has significantly increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and caused global warming.
NB Intense Volcanism this was occurring about 700 million years ago not last Tuesday.
22
“increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and caused global warming.”
No. Increase CO2 does not cause warming.
Read what you typed.
10
““increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and caused global warming.””
Yes, the intense period of volcanic action heated the atmosphere…
…. it also released a lot of CO2, allowing life to become established.
CO2 does that, y’know… it feeds life.
00
Mind how you go, its on the road to snowball earth.
‘The Snowball Earth hypothesis proposes that, during one or more of Earth’s icehouse climates, the planet’s surface became entirely or nearly entirely frozen. It is believed that this occurred sometime before 650 Mya (million years ago) during the Cryogenian period.’
20
“At an altitude where the atmospheric pressure is the same as on Earth, Venus is exactly the temperature it should be for its distance from the sun”
Then why is it hotter than Mercury? Because of the atmospheric pressure.
And you seem not to understand the effects of gravity on the atmosphere as you’re so focussed on C02
30
Ian, you seem very confused about what causes surface temperature.
It is very much the effect of gravity and incoming radiation.
And you seem not to understand the effects of gravity on the atmosphere, as you’re so focused on CO2 (not C02)
[Snip]AD
Thank you for confirming that CO2 has absolutely nothing to do with it.
11
We need to focus on the fact that earth has a dynamo, whereas Venus and Mars do not possess a global magnetic field.
10
“Then why is it hotter than Mercury? Because of the atmospheric pressure.
Yes !
So why did you try to imply it was because of CO2 ?
20
Thanks Clarence T. It is all to do with atmospheric pressure, not CO2. If we had the same pressure at sea level as Venus, our temperature would be the same, in proportion to our distance from the sun.
20
Apples and pears, Ian.
Clarence is correct.
30
Mars atmosphere, 94.5% CO2. Daytime temperature 35C. Night time temperature -80C.
If CO2 held heat Mars would be a furnace.
60
LOL…………..Venus is hotter as it is closer to the Sun…………………..
11
Venus is covered in dense clouds of sulphuric acid. These clouds may in fact protect the surface of Venus from the sun and the temperature may be lower than it would be without them.
Just like earth – thick low clouds lower the temperature and high clouds at night means a warm night as heat is unable to disperse into space.
00
No sunlight can possibly reach the surface of Venus.
There may be volcanic activity, but it is the massive atmospheric pressure at the surface that maintains the surface temperature.
00
Global atmospheric refrigerating solids dominate the energy balance. So-called “greenhouse gasses” are completely overwhelmed by the dominance of liquid and solids.
24
Its well documented that large volcanic eruptions have a deleterious effect on weather. In this instance its unlikely to cool the planet everywhere, but Australia is in the firing line.
31
Well we had a very hot day on Sunday so a bit of temporary cooling is welcome.
30
Watch out IAN, saying that volcanoes emit lots of CO2 will get you banned as that has been classified as FAKE NEWS for years (ever since Ian Plimer wrote that in Heaven+Earth).
But you are correct that volcanoes do cool things down e.g. Mt. Tambora in 1815 lead to 1816 being called The Year without Summer. Pinatubo supposedly cooled the Earth by 0.5℃ and Krakatoa in 1883 supposedly cooled the Earth by 3℃ over several years.
There is an interesting hypothesis going around in academic circles about the Permian mass extinction which wiped out 90% of life. The cause was the vast eruption of the Siberian Traps around 252 million years ago. It was vast, an area bigger than Australia covered by 2 or 3 kilometres of lava. The approved academic explanation is that volcanoes don’t emit lots of CO2 but the eruption set fire to the coal beds underneath and released vast amounts of CO2, which caused runaway Global Warming and the heat death of all species in a belt around the equator. The deaths could not be due to the vast amounts of sulphur, chlorine and fluorine also released, so it must have been coal was to blame.
There is a small problem in that the trilogy for fires is Fuel, a source of ignition AND OXYGEN. I fail to see how coal (if it was there then) under 2 kilometres of molten rock could get the necessary oxygen.
60
And I should have added that the Permian was thought to have ended in a very cold time not Global Warming. Apparently WOKE scientists (and non-scientists) don’t connect lack of rain with colder temperatures.
And if I can go quite O/T don’t take anything from the BBC e.g. Walking with Monsters as truth until you’ve done an independent check. Their claim that Euparkaria was the ancestor of dinosaurs isn’t quite true. The fossils of Euparkaria show it did not have the hip structure of dinosaurs. The best that could be said is that it MIGHT have been the ancestor of the branch of the Archosaurs that lead to the dinosaurs and pterosaurs a few million years later. Its colouring in the last episode of the above has no evidence and seems to have been a product of the BBC Make Up team (although it must be admitted that the BBC is very good at makeup),
50
“Watch out IAN, saying that volcanoes emit lots of CO2 will get you banned as that has been classified as FAKE NEWS for years (ever since Ian Plimer wrote that in Heaven+Earth).”
I didn’t say it UCAR did so readers can take it up with them

Volcanic eruptions cool the planet and have the potential to change the course of history.

Readers might also like to consider how an Alaskan volcano brought misery and political change, elsewhere.
‘Climate proxy records show that 43 and 42 BCE were among the coldest years of recent millennia in the Northern Hemisphere at the start of one of the coldest decades. Earth system modeling suggests that radiative forcing from this massive, high-latitude eruption led to pronounced changes in hydroclimate, including seasonal temperatures in specific Mediterranean regions as much as 7 °C below normal during the 2 y period following the eruption and unusually wet conditions.
‘While it is difficult to establish direct causal linkages to thinly documented historical events, the wet and very cold conditions from this massive eruption on the opposite side of Earth probably resulted in crop failures, famine, and disease, exacerbating social unrest and contributing to political realignments throughout the Mediterranean region at this critical juncture of Western civilization.’ (J.R.McConnell et al 2020)
00
“But you are correct that volcanoes do cool things down”
The AGW “believers/scammers” will use this as an explanation for the coming cooling.
There is quite a bit of back-peddling happening in AGW circles, as many can see the effects of the 2015-17 El Nino have basically worn off, and La Nina seems it may be hanging in as a regular occurrence.
Let’s all just hope that the solar scientists who are predicting a deep solar minimum are lot correct. !
60
2nd last word should be… not

‘ … and La Nina seems it may be hanging in as a regular occurrence.’
We shouldn’t expect El Nino to show its face over the next five years, which will be unsettling for those who believe CO2 causes warming.

Because we follow the science, not “the science”, our science or alternative facts. Or should it be called, how to game the system.
To receive $750 you just have to register a positive result (not have a positive result) and have lost 20hrs of work. no verification required.
If you lose 8hrs work you can get $450 a week, tax free.
Symptoms, naa that’s so 2019, just your word is all we need.
Isolate for 7 days, you can re-join society when the government sends you a certificate of isolation clearance. No need for a negative test, because science.
“You need to stay in isolation for at least 7 days from the date you had your positive COVID-19 test result.
You can only leave isolation when ACT Health has notified you in writing by email or text that you are cleared for release from isolation.
You do not need a test to leave isolation.”
https://au.finance.yahoo.com/news/750-covid-payments-ra-ts-215815872.html
Phone your positive result or fill in the on line form https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/stay-safe-and-healthy/rapid-antigen-test-rat-positive-result-registration-form your cheques in the mail!
You are required to complete the registration within 14 days of a positive test for the tax payer funded scam, so as your word is now the gold standard, back date it 7 days and avoid actually having to isolate, we will take your word for it. https://actredcap.act.gov.au/redcap/surveys/?s=ENJETRYNA8CHAFJ7 This form came from the QLD gov site.
If you have had a positive RAT or PCR, you are required to isolate for 7 days from the date your positive test was collected and notify ACT Health (for RATs). If the date your positive test was collected (PCR or RAT) was more than 7 days ago and you have no symptoms of COVID-19, then you are not required to isolate. Unless you develop new symptoms or are advised by your doctor, you should not take another test for COVID-19 (PCR or RAT) for 30 days following your clearance from isolation.
Wait 30 days and do it all again.
Government, we care only about your health. This message brought to you by Philip Morris.

up to $750 and show meet the following
you’re at least 17 years old
you’re an Australian resident or hold a visa that gives you the right to work in Australia
you’re living in Australia during your self-isolation, quarantine or caring period
you’re living in Australia at the time of your claim
you’re unable to go to work and earn an income because you have to self-isolate, quarantine or care for someone who has to self-isolate or quarantine
you have no sick leave entitlements, including pandemic sick leave, personal leave or leave to care for another person.
118
If you only work part time you have no Sickies, no holiday pay.
You have to be an Australian, a resident, of course.
Your point is what.
90
The point is that people who have covid who lose their income will get support. people who, if they went to work, would earn much more. As opposed to your implication that it is for rorters or something
316
The point is, you don’t have to catch the Covid, just claim you did, back date the claim.
$450 guaranteed if you worked 8 hours a week, good coin if you claim you have it.
No proof required.
Designed to kick the covid can along.
101
But proof is required.
You must prove loss of income and no leave entitlements. A bit of a fuss to get a portion of $750 while losing regular income that amounts to more than the government gives you. I’m sure your boss would be none too pleased. Rorters are smart enough not to rort at a loss.
111
Proof of positive test is what I refer.
If you are paid 8 hours, you have proof. Kaching $450 in the account.
All thieves are lairs but not all liars are thieves.
71
That is not how it works but you think whatever you like.
112
And after lockdowns ruin the economy, the money the government gives you will not be worth the pixels it’s printed on.
40
We are now “after the lockdowns” and I seem to be able to buy stuff with $AUD.
The problem is now finding a shop that is open and staffed with healthy people.
11
They are all healthy, its now a RAT infestation.
10
Leaf only some get paid depending on occupation and employer , government yes but those working in aged care get zip without a doctors certificate and doctors won’t write a certificate for those not sick , If you have sick leave you can’t touch it but if you use your annual leave that’s fine . And I know this extends to others in different employment, including one that makes employees buy Rat tests to prove they are Covid negative . You live in a sheltered world – get out more .
40
I know this, tell MP who is making the wild claims. I have some spare red thumbs if you want to share the burden of stating the facts.
11
What wild claim did I make, the links are there.
Use your annual leave up on a corporate government mandate so you can spend it in confinement, could only make sense to you.
I was talking about proof of positive test, based on a persons honesty and how its designed to push your narrative “infections”.
You just threw in your straw men.
When you were hiding under your bed, did you use up your annual leave or did your employer (
governmenttax payer) continue to pay you. One rule for you and another for us plebs.10
Wow… that was muddled. btw I’ve only taken annual leave to go on holiday.
10
What facts did you state, you have to be an Australian and be in country. No sh!t Sherlock.
Stop molesting your straw man. Just making stuff up, show me the wild claim I made.
This “To receive $750 you just have to register a positive result (not have a positive result) and have lost 20hrs of work. no verification required.” that is verification of a positive result, its not required.
10
You really haven’t seen the illogicality of your comment. Maybe give up 20 hours paid work to get less money in return and see if it hits you.
02
FFS, 20 hours work at $30 an hour is $600. umm work for $600, not work for $750.
The majority of Aussies are not on $100hr of tax payer funded cricket watching and trolling.
00
P.S. My wife works 45 hours and brings home less than $900. It costs $100 in fuel per week, so $800. 45 hours work for $50 extra.
There is a thing called minimum wage, you may of heard of it, but never experienced it.

A sonnet for Tuesday:
Losing It.
All are clear and I alone am clouded –
Lately I’ve been feeling like Lao-tzu:
While others dress for power I am shrouded
In doubts and often haven’t got a clue.
Expressionless I stare into the blue
Of sky and empty ocean like a child
Or like a fool who simply can’t construe
The meaning and is easily beguiled.
And yet some days bring moments when I smile
To feel the world as if myself, yet be
Alone to walk the sands along the wild
Dunes attuned to the constant pulsing sea.
Home in the dark each thunder-hush of wave
Empties the room as surf flushes a cave.

Reading the above article it’s simply confirming the post-capitalist delusional green agenda garbage the NWO has been espousing for too long.
As to when the “pandemic” ends rumours have it that it will be in around 6 months when the vaxxes are canned…

Only 3 reported deaths, and what is the actual number of adverse reactions? For her kind all roads lead to “vaccination”, no matter the collateral human cost.
It’s entirely true-to-form for Chant. Back in August Chant said she wanted to see ATAGI approve the vaccines for younger children:
“We vaccinated the 16-year-olds. I’m keen to get into the 12 to 15-year-olds personally.”
Does that sound how a Chief Health Officer should sound?

New South Wales has reported its deadliest day of the coronavirus pandemic with 36 fatalities recorded on Tuesday.
The previous high was 29 COVID-related deaths on January 14.
Hospitalisations continue to soar with 2,850 patients receiving care, up 74, and 209 in intensive care, up six, on the previous day.
Of the deaths, one was aged in their 40s, two in their 50s, one in their 60s, 11 in their 70s, 12 in their 80s and nine in their 90s.
The majority, 33 of the 36 deaths, were vaccinated against with a coronavirus vaccine.
Two of the three under 60-years-old had not been vaccinated with one double dosed.
NSW Chief Health Officer Doctor Kerry Chant said all three had “serious underlying health conditions”.

Top Vitamin D Papers in 2021
Benefits ignored at a time they are most needed.
http://www.orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v18n02.shtml
The innate immune system mechanisms by which vitamin D reduces risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19 appear to include reduced viral viability and replication by inducing cathelicidin and defensins as well as reduced production of proinflammatory cytokines and the risk of the cytokine storm. The innate immune system is not sensitive to the variant of SARS-CoV-2 involved. That is important because the virus readily mutates, thereby reducing the adaptive immune system’s ability to respond effectively. Thus, vitamin D can serve as an extra measure of protection as vaccine effectiveness wanes. The recommended serum 25(OH)D level for prevention is 40 to 60+ ng/ml, which could be achieved with the safe dose range of 5000 to 10,000 IU/d vitamin D3.
100
The innate immune system largely determines the threshold level of exposure for sustainable infection, even in the vaccinated.
The SARS-CoV-2 threshold criteria have been estimated in terms of concentration of virus on the airway surface and the total virus load needed to induce infection. Humanised mice are used to determine the former and tissue culture for the latter.
The SARS-CoV-2 strains (not including Omicron) appear have similar threshold levels, and I suspect Omicron will be shown to be much the same.
The apparent increased infectivity of Omicron can be explained by the greatly increased viral loads in the upper airways of those infected- so higher probability of infection from a close contact with someone infected with Omicron compared with other strains.
Innate immunity varies across the population and is not the same for all infectious agents. Genetic factors affect immunity and it is not completely independent of acquired immunity effects.

I am curious, what is the occupancy rate of the Resilience Centers in Oz?
How many new Resilience beds compared to hospital beds since onset of the pandemic?
(Can one get a doctorate in Pandemiology?)
30
They talk beds but mean rooms, bunk beds are the space savers.
500 rooms each, expandable to 3000?
one at the Brissy airport, fed owned corporate run.
Hell camp 1, Ipswich, near completion, 500 rooms expandable to 3000?
Hell camp 2, as above, starting soon.
Dimbulah FNQ, 250 rooms so 1000 expanded.
All bar Dimbulah are located near rail sidings, WA’s is having their rail siding upgrade now.
All to be run by private corporations, otherwise called Scott Morrisons mates. Hiring prison guards now, because they already know the drill.
First they came for the unvaxxed, I did not care because I was vaxxed, then they came for ?
Are we waking up yet Australia?
130
Are you forgetting “Daschu on the Downs”?
60
I don’t know of the other two locations being built outside of Brisbane, just Dimbulah as its my new accommodation centre.
I heard 4 more are to be built in South Aus, but have not tried to verify the rumour.
50
Covid will be over before they are ready, anyone could have foreseen that. So, what is their REAL purpose? I suppose I’d have to ask the UN.
60
How much medical staff and treatment capability do Resilience Centers have?
They are occupied by potentially infected people with an expectation that serious illness is a possibility, no?
Are they built near hospitals?
Does your government provide numbers on capacity and occupancy?
In a ‘pandemic’ they could quickly become medical wards, one would think.
Wonder the ratio of enforcer staff versus medical staff.
Your government has clearly stated that the non-compliant do not deserve medical care.
Which places them on a tier below prisons.
These are mostly rhetorical questions.
Not difficult to guess the answers or the thick weeds in which the answers lie.

More dodgy stats with the UK ONS denominator used to calculate population vaccination percentages.
https://www.hartgroup.org/problems-with-the-ons-denominator/
The ONS population estimate is severely flawed.
1. It is based on 2011 census data and an extrapolated growth rate. The census publication was met with incredulity by local councils because they had many people on their records that the ONS missed.
2. They have assumed a slower growth rate in the decade since 2011 than the decade before.
3. NIMS [National Immunisation Management System] is a measurement which has a much higher value, although it does not claim to include the whole population. Every week significant numbers of people test positive for covid and are registered as “unlinked” because they did not have an NHS number.
Nevertheless, NHS England, ICNARC and others continue to use the ONS denominator when calculating rates in the population.
NHS England uses an ONS denominator to calculate vaccination rates. This is a disingenuous way to approach the problem when we know that numerous age groups in many regions have more people vaccinated than the ONS claim exists in the population. The result is a tiny number of “unvaccinated” and when calculating the rate, the denominator is so small that the rate becomes astronomical.
The tiny numbers in the 60-69 year old age group resulted in a ludicrously high case rate for the unvaccinated. Using NIMS denominators would result in case rates over five times lower and using denominators to include the whole population, including those without an NHS number, would result in even lower rates still.

Novax is now facing serious financial loss from his stance on covid vaccination. His biggest sponsors are France based and they will be having some serious talks with Novax:
https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/17273194/novak-djokovic-live-deported-french-open-visa-australia/
France will follow Australia’s lead in keeping Novax out of the French Open:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-10410441/Novak-Djokovic-faces-banned-French-Open-May.html
It is interesting because my prediction that covid would be done by end of March is looking solid. So Novax could be banned from French Open while covid is history.
425
Just because Australia or France do something such as banning Novak for his political beliefs doesn’t make it right. Even if a majority accept such action. In fact, Australia’s actions on just about anything are objectively wrong.
I thought the legal election of the National Socialists taught the lesson on that matter. Or the book put out by the same socialists, “100 Authors Against Einstein” and his brilliant response. “To defeat relativity one did not need the word of 100 scientists, just one fact.”
300
Rick, I can remember you saying that you would be bomb proof after your second jab. How is the first booster going?
180
No issues at all. I chose AZ because I did not want to mix my poisons. I remain bulletproof and maybe bomb proof as well.
I expect the first booster to be my last. Covid will be history by the end of March this year as I predicted 6 months ago.
The globe is really in the first wave now:
https://91-divoc.com/pages/covid-visualization/?chart=countries&highlight=Global&show=highlight-only&y=both&scale=linear&data=cases-daily-7&data-source=owid&xaxis=right#countries
There were a few ripples limited by lockdowns but the curve is no longer being flattened. With covid now ripping, the omicron wave is about to top out; short, sharp and done.
320
As bulletproof as you were before you took any of your ‘poison’ (your words).. Well maybe….probably sadly ruined your ongoing immunity to all sorts of other illness.
202
I think your masters may disagree.
https://www.weforum.org/events/the-davos-agenda-2022/sessions/covid-19-what-s-next
70
I agree. Best not to mix, especially with Pfizzer as the booster.
Bombproof? Hopefully. So far my mixture of Vit D, Vit C, Zinc and Quercetin has been effective.
140
Agree that looks like Omicron will probably be the last hurrah for the virus – unless VaDen Bossche is right about ADEs.
Am very happy that you remain well after AZ doses. Two of my family who have had AZ are also thankfully OK. There is no doubt that AZ had been responsible for fatal clotting in a few cases but it is becoming apparent that particular batches may be largely responsive for the Pfizer &Moderna adverse reactions.
40
LOL…….Bullet Proof and Bomb Proof ??????. Maybe you should be a Consultant with the ADF……………
My top notch gold plated Immune System continues to protect me and my risk assessment of these gene therapy experimental (mental !!!!) emergency approved potions means that I will continue to rely on my Immune System at the ripe old age of 69 years.

NSW booster period reduced to three months
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has announced the state’s 40 vaccine hubs will deliver boosters three months after second jabs instead of four.
He said it will mean 3.5m more people will now be eligible for booster shots.
Mr Perrottet also said he understood the gap will also be reduced through the federal government’s rollout via GPs and pharmacies from 31 January
Comply.
Your next booster is due in March. This reminder is bought to you by Blackrock, because we care about your health.
70
It’ll be a while before he’s on the breadline.
I’m not keen on Djokovic, mostly because of the way his fans behave, but my opinion of him has lifted with this business. The easy way would have been to pay a doctor to squirt the vaccine down the sink and sign the paperwork. How many of the competitors in Melbourne do you think have done this?
220
Not easily done.
10
Seen the report of the Italian nurse arrested for doing just that? Did hundreds apparently, and just one of a large segment of ways to avoid the jab but get a passbook.
I never heard any more about the NZ guy who had over 10 vaxxes while being paid to use other people’s names. Maybe he didn’t survive..

A very annoying TV advertisement is for Glad brand plastic garbage bags.
They state they are made of two thirds recycled plastic that was “destined for the ocean”.
But that is simply not true as applied to the civilised world.
We put our rubbish in proper receptacles and in Australia it typically goes in landfill and in more advanced countries it either goes to landfill or is burned to produce energy (Australia is terrified of burning it in modern low emissions incinerators to produce energy).
In Third World countries rivers are used as dumping grounds and the rubbish does indeed go to the ocean, but not in the civilised world.
Example of dumping garbage in rover in Third World.

Beware of the term recycled, in production. I know with HDPE and PVC the term is used for product that does not meet spec and is reground and added back to the virgin stock seed, Recycled.

Paper was the same… Recycled paper or cardboard never left the factory, production failure was fed back into a fresh batch and prominently labelled “Recycled Paper”.

I have no doubt there will be people disappointed that Djoko is not playing. But given people usually don’t know the schedule when they buy tickets, the incidence of refunds for Djoko’s absence are probably small. Plus, it would only apply to centre court because he always plays there.
Plus, ticket sales are already capped because of the pre-sales and many people wouldn’t be looking to buy tickets knowing that.
Plus, people know how to buy tickets and wouldn’t need to google it.
Plus, with the prevalence of recent Omicron numbers there would be people seeking refunds possibly for that.
Let’s not over blow the Djoko impact. Particularly on figures that don’t necessarily even relate to the ascertain being made.

‘When a young Japanese woman first reported symptoms to doctors in 1967, they were mild. She suffered some diarrhea, nothing a little medication could solve even back then.
But, the young woman and the doctors knew exactly what would follow if they didn’t act quickly. Doctors prescribed the standard medication, but it was too late.
A year later, she could no longer walk or see, permanently paralyzed and blind.
What happened to her was part of a larger epidemic that ravaged the island of Japan, mostly. Other countries suffered too, Australia included but Japan took the brunt of the pain.
By the end, some 11,000 Japanese people would give up their lives for what doctors labelled SMON, Subacute myelo-optic neuropathy. It was a disease of the nervous system, which affected around 30,000 people starting in 1955, carrying on to 1970.
The craziest thing about this disease wasn’t the advanced symptoms, paralyzed legs, blindness, and the occasional report of a green hairy tongue and green urine [yes, really].
Fewer than five percent of those diagnosed died, but there were cases. The craziest thing was how devastatingly simple was the cure. They needed to stop treating the patients.’

So what happens to the tens of millions of unused “vaccine” doses the Australian Government ordered, enough for nearly 11 shots for every Australian aged zero+, which are now useless against the omicron strain?
Another few billion dollars wasted?
But no one seems to care.

Roll up your sleeve you are about to find out.
Three doses are proving to be effective so far in the trials, until they are not, but the 4th will be.

Kerry Chant paints a bleak picture of living with Covid in 2022
“Australians will have to take repeated rounds of Covid boosters, live under constantly changing restrictions, and wear masks for all of 2022.
That is the grim prediction of NSW chief health officer Dr Kerry Chant for the year ahead even with vaccine rates topping 90 per cent.
‘So 2022 is going to be this recalibration where we’re using all the tools including oral antivirals, which will hopefully become available in February, new vaccines.
‘I think we need to be very open to the fact that there will be new vaccines and technologies that come to the fore in 2022.’ ”

Well,Australia. Are we going to stand up to our betters, our are we going to just stand by and let them walk all over us?????????????
10
They are not our betters, they are just an obstacle.
We had the “hold the line” rally last weekend, police had forbidden a march due to the moronic contagion. We marched, they watched.
I guessed there were 500 at the muster point prior to the march, march returned with 780, people on the street and pubs joined in as it progressed. Nobody was against the movement, injecting crap into kids has played to our advantage. The older folk that could not march due to the heat waited in the park so 800+ attended. The one previous was 300, they are joining us.
Atherton, population 6,500 and no advertising except social media and we are pretty much down to just Telegram on that side.

Does anyone have experience of or know of a frig suitable for the humid tropics?
My Bosch was terrible for a number of reasons but freezing up and having to be hosed out was particularly annoying.
My second Westinghouse has just died. The first quit after only a couple of months. It was replaced with a slightly dented model but that is now dead. I’m going to insist on a refund, but is there better? Any suggestions?
40
As you know there is not much to them, is it the compressor, if so may be able to change it over to a non made in china product.
But still in warranty I guess?
40
It’s not “just a compressor”. It must one designed for high duty, powerful enough to keep the frig cool but not overheat. Every “Coke” vender has two fans, one on the compressor and one on the evaporator. both low wattage but would blow the ENERGY STARS to hell on your kitchen frig.
An auto-defrost that can clear ice on a 90% day is also mandatory here. Methinks this could also be power waste in the greater US.
40
Depending on temperatures outside, the liquefier has to bee cooled too.
20
Sell an “e” 😀
10
Compress, cool, expand, that’s about it. The only moving part on a normal domestic fridge is the compressor, the condenser and evaporator are static. The expansion valve is a fixed orifice, so it will never need replacing.
Commercial fridges have a fan or two on the evaporator and some on the condenser to circulate air through the fridge and speed up the heat transfer. Normally there is no fan on the compressor, the evaporator is mounted so air flow is through the evaporator over the compressor. If its under warranty, you have to run with that outcome.
Your a mechanic so you know its about removing heat from inside to outside
As for brand preference, anything with the compressor not made in China. The auto defrost is excellent on modern fridges, I am in the tropics and have no issue with condenser icing.
My new one is LG side by side F/F with water and ice dispenser in the door to lower the door cycling for a cold water, not plumbed to the mains water. No issues in three years, though I am sure the compressor would be made in China.
Coca cola is the worst company I have ever dealt with, bunch of soft drink N@zi’s. The agreement we had with them was an 80/20, 20% foreign product, rep came into the shop and removed the 20% foreign product and put them on the floor, told nobody. The wife found this, removed all the product from the coke fridge and pushed it into the car park, phoned coke and told them they better be quick before someone steels it, phoned the commercial supplier and bought our own. Phoned the rep and told him if he ever set foot in the business again she would become violent. 2 years and a change of rep latter they ventured back, the new rep was a nice young fellow and I got a coke fridge back in. (have to have that big red brand on display)
Coke is a must have for any shop/super market. Young rep quit coke and bought himself an IGA also.
The coke fridge lost one fan on the evaporator and it was game over, coke fixed this within hours.
10
MP. Static? Not so much.
The tubing in the fridge’s system is subjected to varying pressure. The strain induces movement, the movement induces metal fatigue, the metal fatigue induces failure.
The quality of the design determines how long it takes.
00
Actually that is part of the reason for the design, the tubes snake. Expansion and contraction are taken up in the bends. Movement is minimal.
I would call the tin roof of my house static, though there is far more movement in that throughout the day.

Just some changes in public health speak since SARS-CoV-2 challenged and murdered a perfectly healthy human attitude to life?
You are an asymptomatic carrier of COVID19 if you show positive via a PCR test but have absolutely zero symptoms or evidence of the disease.
You are public enemy Number One if you refuse to be vaccinated for whatever reason despite the fact you are no more or less likely to spread the SARS-CoV-2 than anyone who has been jabbed countless times already. (As the latest study data from Israel suggests)
Your face covering demonstrates how much you care about not infecting others with this wretched virus although we’d rather you hadn’t robbed the bank at the same time.
If you remain unvaccinated and suffer COVID19 then you can perish in hell for all we care.
Your PM and senior civil servants were not partying, boozed up, having a good time and breaking the rules at will; they were sincerely working very hard on your behalf and trying to avoid exhaustion. You should not follow their example until they say it is okay for you to do so.

A lot has been said about Chant’s announcement that 33 of the 36 COVID deaths were vaccinated. Two points.
1. Were the 3 that were classed as not vaccinated, vaccinated too recently to be classed as not vaccinated?
2. Her rant now is because of those figures, she is emphasise the importance of taking the booster shots.
Conclusion: the vaccines are not working. So why are they now pushing for children to be vaccinated with their first shot, apart from the obvious explosion in their desire to mandate us to death (taken both ways)?
151
Peter- we know the answer to that. It is because they are more than ever caught up in the storm of Fear.
I watch as many local epidemiologists who have been gung ho in the past & now recognise Omicron as a way out – struggle to explain the situation. The media will not listen.
110
I can well understand why the media will not listen. What is inexplicable is how our state and federal governments are not listening. Some would say, they are just ignorant to the fact they are making a grave mistake, while others say they are deliberately telling lies as part of a plan to subjugate us. Each one of us can come to their own conclusion but whatever the reason, they need to be held to account one day, and if possible imprisoned for life given the gravity of the situation where people are dying for not being allowed to use alternative treatments as readily as they should be, and the known associated risks of the vaccines themselves. Under the law ignorance is no excuse. See below…
9.3 Mistake or ignorance of statute law
Commonwealth Criminal Code: Guide for practitioners
(1) A person can be criminally responsible for an offence even if, at the time of the conduct constituting the offence, he or she is mistaken about, or ignorant of, the existence or content of an Act that directly or indirectly creates the offence or directly or indirectly affects the scope or operation of the offence.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply, and the person is not criminally responsible for the offence in those circumstances, if:
(a) the Act is expressly or impliedly to the contrary effect; or
(b) the ignorance or mistake negates a fault element that applies to a physical element of the offence.

My concern is either those doing what theyre doing either supremely believe they will escape peaceful legal redress, or they are confident of winding down the hysteria carefully and getting away with it, or something is coming to create sufficient painful distraction so people are too busy surviving to care…..
That the relevent people have said “yeah. dont worry about boosters”, tells me either the goal has already been achieved and they figure better to pack up and quietly slither away and leave us to it, or, something worse is coming that will finish the job.
If ADE is a significant player in all this, my money is on something much worse on the horizon, like “terrorists” releasing something in 10 airports at same time…..

For those who still follow Dr Campbell please answer this. He just stated that those who have the COVID virus should wait 3 months before getting another vaccine shot. Isn’t it the wrong advice? If one has the virus why wouldn’t natural immunity kick in thus obviating the need for a vaccine?

60
Confusion response and the question still remains unanswered but I will revise it to get to the point. Does he really believe that a victim of the virus requires a vaccine shot after 3 months or is he telling a lie?
20
what l have figured out about Dr John Campbell is in short that he is basically interpreting the data ect… from what the so called experts from the WHO and certain government sources around the world are putting out
IMHO you can get some real time info to research yourself from him but l would not take his word on everything as gospel
what he stated about waiting 3 months after infection before getting another Jab was a response from another source
what l suspect anyway
10
So in other words he’s acting like he’s in an echo chamber, echoing only the pro-vax side and not the other side for fear of having his channel shut down. Understood. He does give good updates and I do like listening to his reports. I’m not yet convinced though he is on our side. To do that he has to “spill the beans” on another medium, such as rumble where multiple points of view are freely expressed without too much fear of being muzzled.

The sunk cost fallacy is in full effect and careers and credibility is on the line, but facts are stubborn things, and the fact is that these vaccines are accelerating spread. They do not protect us as was promised. (and promises were definitely made) At best, these are a personal choice to mitigate risk. Probably, doing so creates a net risk for others because you are more likely to get covid and spread covid. The vaccinated are not a dead end for virus, they are crop-dusters for it and spreading it more widely.”

Look at how the focus has changed. We used to have a tangible, achievable goal of ending restrictions once 70% of the adult population was vaccinated. Now, we are simply supposed to “imagine” how many people would have died without the vaccine so that we can be distracted from the fact that the mass vaccination program now has no goals, no carrot and ever-larger sticks.”

No Mo’ ’Splosions? Nanotech Energy Unveils Fireproof Graphene Battery
Nonflammable OrganoLyte electrolyte promises to last longer and charge faster.
Wow, the claims Nanotech Energy makes for its new graphene battery, just presented at CES Unveiled, are impressive: It retains more than 80 percent of its rated capacity through 1,400 cycles, can charge considerably faster than anything that is currently available on the market, maintains performance at extreme temperatures (-40 to 140 degrees F), holds charge at temperatures as high as 350 degrees and won’t catch fire when penetrated with a nail or heated to more than 350 degrees, don’t require exotic materials, can be manufactured on existing equipment in various form factors (cylindrical, pouch, etc. ), and is going to be produced in a new plant in Nevada slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Given all that, we wouldn’t be surprised to learn that driving an EV powered by such batteries also promoted weight loss and prevented tax audits. Here’s what we know about the Nanotech Energy graphene battery.
Graphene Battery Electrodes
Graphene has been making a lot of news lately, and we explained what it is here, but here’s a quickie recap: the graphene in use here is a sheet of one-atom-thick carbon. Nanotech Energy is using graphene sheets to transfer energy to and from its new batteries. Graphene is extremely strong yet pliable, which makes it capable of stretching as the lithium ions come and go from the electrodes, causing volume changes. Graphene’s strong electrical conductivity lowers the battery’s internal resistance, which lowers internal heat generation, enabling faster charging.
OrganoLyte Electrolyte
Nanotech Energy has yet to release exact chemical specifications of its proprietary liquid electrolyte, but it has provided MotorTrend with some general information. Most electrolytes in use today involve dissolving a lithium salt in a liquid material composed primarily of linear and cyclic chain carbonates (molecules that involve a carbon atom attached to three oxygen atoms). These liquids are typically flammable (see the photo below). OrganoLyte reportedly is not, as photos (at top) of a propane torch applied to the material indicate.
While no specifics have been confirmed, the name suggests the material still centers around organic chemistry (meaning its molecules involve carbon atoms and covalent bonding, not ecological farming), and we’re assured they’re not exotic or expensive.
New Proprietary Separator
The graphene battery electrodes must be separated by a material through which the ions transfer, and here again Nanotech Energy has replaced the typical polyolefin separator with a new material that improves on polyolefin’s thermal stability. This also helps to make the batteries safer.
30
The whole concept depends on this Graphene.
If graphene can go half way to emulating the silicon chip on production costs, we might be looking at a whole new world.

GAF Energy nailable solar roofing
It’s been six years since Elon Musk unveiled his solar roof tiles – tiles with embedded solar panels that trap energy from the sun. They haven’t become a household name, like some of Musk’s other exploits, but there is an industry in integrated solar roof tiles where you don’t need a separate solar panel system sitting on the roof. A browser search will bring up Australian firms such as Nulok and Tractile. Musk meanwhile says Tesla made significant mistakes with its solar roof tile project around the complexity of assembly on various roofs and has been revising its design.
At CES this month, GAF Energy unveiled what it says is the world’s first “nailable solar shingle”.
It says its solar roof technology can therefore be integrated into traditional roofing systems. “The launch will enable the mainstream deployment of clean energy via traditional roofing channels,” the company says.

Full-throttle electric snow bikes quietly tear up Alpine powder
Electric cars and trucks may be the hottest topic in e-mobility, but quiet, clean-running electric drives have the ability to revolutionize all kinds of vehicles and machinery. We’ve seen it with the popularization and evolution of ebikes, and electric tech is slowly finding its way into more demanding powersports applications, like electric dirt bikes and snowmobiles. French startup MoonBikes Motors is carving some space between the e-snowmobile and e-dirt bike categories, creating a full-throttle electric snow bike meant to travel lightly and deliver sharp, explosive exhilaration on the snow.
Designed for both all-out snowy thrills and dutiful utility, the MoonBike features a snowmobile-like combination of rear track drive and front ski. A motor with 3 kW of continuous power pushes the bike to speeds up to 28 mph (45 km/h).
Instead of using a single fixed battery, the MoonBike has the capacity to hold one or two 2-kWh batteries, allowing riders to double up on range. A single battery powers the bike for between 11 and 21.7 miles (18 and 35 km), depending upon how hard the rider is twisting on the throttle, and a dual-battery doubles that range spread to 22 to 43.5 miles (36 to 70 km). The batteries are also removable.
20
“A single battery powers the bike for between 11 and 21.7 miles (18 and 35 km), depending upon how hard the rider is twisting on the throttle.”
The distance depends on the speed of the bike, that is greater speed means less distance, and the average distance is about 26.5 km. I presume it’s similar with EVs, that is greater speed means less range per charge. If an EV is advertised with a range of 400 km is that an average range or a maximum range.
On the other hand, petrol and diesel driven vehicles, because of gearing, greater speed can mean greater range, up to a point.

And what else is he selling?
But with changeable batteries he is on the right track. How much does it cost?

32°N adaptive focus sunglasses
DeepOptics Debuts First-ever Adaptive Focus Sunglasses as Silicon Valley Tech Companies Race to Put Smartglasses on Consumers
DeepOptics (https://www.deepoptics.com), the inventor and pioneer of a novel adaptive lens technology, announces the launch of its new product, 32°N (pronounced 32 North), the first and only adaptive focus sunglasses
32°N can dynamically correct for reading while serving as functional sunglasses. The glasses mimic natural human vision, allowing users to seamlessly switch between “reading mode” for near vision and “scenic mode” for far distances. 32°N addresses the needs of people experiencing presbyopia, the age-related reduction in near vision, instead of having to switch between sunglasses and reading glasses and without the difficult compromises of progressive lenses and bifocals. Investors of DeepOptics include some of the best-known players in the eyewear and technology spaces, Essilor and Samsung Ventures.
There are 1.8 billion people worldwide with presbyopia, which refers to the inability to focus on close objects. The eye condition typically occurs in people over the age of 45, and gets progressively worse. Presbyopia cannot be reversed, but is commonly corrected with multiple pairs of glasses, especially when outside. Alternative approaches to solving Presbyopia include progressive lenses (multifocal) and bifocals that each have their own limitations. As many consumers can attest, switching between sunglasses and reading glasses can become tiresome, considering the average person looks at their phone as much as 58 times every day. This is where 32°N comes in.
“We are on a mission to improve human vision through dynamic optics,” says Yariv Haddad, the CEO and Co-Founder of DeepOptics. “Presbyopia is a problem that affects a great many people, for much of the time. 32°N is the first product of several on our roadmap. It was developed to provide a seamless technological solution to a problem facing many users.

An In-Depth Look at the Rebuilding of Notre Dame Cathedral
The feature includes incredible 3D graphics that outline in detail the plans for restoration as well as on-the-ground interviews with the architects and the team behind its reconstruction. National Geographic tells PetaPixel that it is the only foreign media outlet (that is to say, not French) that has been given such a high level of access to the efforts to rebuild the masterpiece that is the Notre Dame cathedral.
Captured with Multiple Photography Disciplines
The full story, which can be read on National Geographic’s website or found in the February 2022 printed edition, was written by Senior Environment Editor Robert Kunzig who, along with Van Houtryve, spent a month reporting on the efforts inside the cathedral, during which time they were covered in special suits from head-to-toe, complete with respirators.

The Post-Pandemic World
Only a few months after Hitler’s armies surrendered, the British electorate, eager to put the restrictions of war behind them, handed Winston Churchill a landslide defeat and replaced him with Clement Atlee. Once victory removed the rationale for all the regulations they had willingly accepted, they set about removing them. With the end of the current pandemic, the justification for lockdowns, masks, mandates, tracking, and restrictions on the public will similarly vanish and the desire for a new world will be unleashed.
This may expose the bureaucrats who’ve spent the last three years building ’empires of fear’ to a widespread political backlash. What will make it worse is that the bureaucrats cannot even claim victory over the virus for their policies. It just seemed to have run its course, with omicron representing the final stage of the viral evolution to an endemic disease.
That is to say, the pandemic may soon be over or at least tolerable. While this development is good news, it will raise questions over whether many of the powers assumed in the name of scientific authority were inflated in retrospect. Its one undoubted legacy has been to damage the reputation of the ruling class. As Daniel Henninger writes in the WSJ, “Omicron has killed certitude. People no longer care what government or ‘science’ tells them about Covid-19.” The public has concluded that officials have overreached, and this has — at least temporarily — ruined their credibility.
It’s not that the concept of science per se has been discredited, but the limits of governance based on the state of the art have been laid bare. Already the signs of political disillusion are plain to see, from Joe Biden’s collapse in the polls, the SCOTUS rejection of his vaccine mandate, and Boris Johnson’s slipping hold on power to Novak Djokovic’s amazing one-man stand against Australia’s vaccine visa policy: a worldwide storm is brewing, and it will break over the political scene in 2022.

Australian Government Admits Letting Djokovic Stay Would’ve Undermined COVID Police State
Australian government officials have admitted that the decision to boot tennis star Novak Djokovic out of the country was based on fears that allowing him to stay would’ve damaged the government’s police powers acquired throughout the coronavirus.
According to The New York Times, “[I]n a statement explaining why he revoked Djokovic’s visa a second time, Alex Hawke, Australia’s minister for immigration, argued that if Djokovic were allowed to remain in Australia and play, the influential tennis star could harm efforts to combat the virus,” with the government conceding “that Djokovic poses no imminent threat to spread the disease” and the situation is “more about the example it would set by allowing him to stay.”
“Given Mr. Djokovic’s high-profile status and position as a role model in the sporting and broader community,” Hawke said in a statement, “his ongoing presence in Australia may foster similar disregard for the precautionary requirements following receipt of a positive Covid-19 test in Australia.”

I stopped reading this site a year or so ago after Jo started pushing hard lockdowns. It seemed a fanciful and repressive way to stop a virus.
I checked back in now and see she is really sceptical of this emerging mandatory vaccine system, which was nice to see. I was expecting her to be all in favour of it, because people who love lockdowns tend to love vaccine mandate system too/.
Can someone give me a quick run down on Jo’s position over the past year or two? How did she get from yay lockdowns! to boo vaccine mandates…
94
You’re not serious, are you?
22
Jo was anti lockdown I’m not sure where you got your info from .
17
Jo was and still is pro lockdown, pro masks, zero virus, loves being locked in her state. But has always been pro choice and freedom of speech. She see’s the man behind the curtain and supports the people pushing back, which is more important.
Just come for the comments if not the article, they are worth the time alone.
101
I think Jo was definitely pro border, as in keep the virus out. As a result her state has had the least lockdown and most freedom. The hole of Aus should have been able to enjoy the same except for foolish lapses in effective quarantine control. I say foolish because they were typically in situations where simple controls and protocols would have sufficed and they weren’t even put in place, let alone someone not following them.
And Jo did say a short complete lockdown would end any outbreak. I don’t think she advocated for 4 month lockdowns of the type we had in Vic, multiple times.
30
MP it was the international border she wanted locked down until the virus was better understood , a view that seemed more than reasonable.
21
She was 14 days to flatten the curve, pro lockdown, then flipped in sync with the WHO and our puppet ministers to zero COVID, which was when 14 days became 3 months, how was zero going to be achieved other than solitary confinement, which was a fail.
70
Yes Jo’s parroting of the expert advice made me wonder what was going on!
10
And the state border RR, and I agreed with her.
02
I think that Jo made the point quite clearly that an early, quick and short lockdown should prevent a long lockdown such as had been in VicDanistan.
01
If I recall, from day 1 Jo has been advocating anti-viral type treatments and been critical of the firstly;
a) waiting for a miracle vaccine approach;
and then later;
b) relying on a less that perfect vaccine.
61
So you expect others to summarise because you couldnt be arsed to make the effort.
Surely you could get your people onto that?
10
I’m not going to trawl back over 18 months of posts when someone who’s been watching it unfold can give me the gist of it.
00
Give us a break, John! Lots of us were shocked by what we were seeing in Wuhan at the beginning of 2020. Digital technology allowed us a birds-eye view of Wuhan – & then northern Italy. I will confess I was pretty scared, and yes – I initially thought lockdowns would “mop up” the few OS contacts that got into Australia.
Quite frankly – during that time I couldn’t wait for the promised vaccines. I knew very little about immunology at that time – it has been a steep learning curve since!!!
By late 2020/early 2021 I had become concerned about the news of problems with AZ – which was the first vaccine to be arrive in Oz. I then spent every day time learning about virology and becoming acquainted with the concerns of a number of prominent OS virologists, immunologists etc. So, while I had initially been impressed with the Precautionary Principle of Nassim Taleb, I finally came to understand what his great rival John Ioannidis was arguing.
So John – you might be a genius medical whizz who knew the vaccines were a scam from the start – but even Robert Malone experimented with Moderna when he was suffering from Long Covid in 2020.

The stuff from China was all propaganda, designed to bring on the panic. Happened nowhere else on the planet.
There is no truth in anything from China, including Virus isolation.

l am sure Jo will jump on and answer your queries when she can John
l would also like to add that if it is true that Jo has changed her way of thinking it is her prerogative

One of the comments says it all really-
“Stolen from a well educated friend: nurse
“Among all the vaccines I have known in my life (diphtheria, tetanus, measles, rubella, chickenpox, hepatitis, meningitis and tuberculosis), I want to also add flu and pneumonia.
I have never seen a vaccine that forced me to wear a mask and maintain my social distance, even when you are fully vaccinated.
I had never heard of a vaccine that spreads the virus even after vaccination.
I had never heard of rewards, discounts, incentives to get vaccinated.
I never saw discrimination for those who didn’t. If you haven’t been vaccinated no one has tried to make you feel like a bad person.
I have never seen a vaccine that threatens the relationship between family, colleagues and friends.
I have never seen a vaccine used to threaten livelihoods, work or
school.
I have never seen a vaccine that would allow a 12-year-old to override parental consent.
After all the vaccines I listed above, I have never seen a vaccine like this one, which discriminates, divides and judges society as it is. And as the social fabric tightens… It’s a powerful vaccine! She does all these things except IMMUNIZATION. If we still need a booster dose after we are fully vaccinated, and we still need to get a negative test after we are fully vaccinated, and we still need to wear a mask after we are fully vaccinated, and still be hospitalized after we have been fully vaccinated, it will likely come to “It’s time for us to admit that we’ve been completely deceived.””
90
Like Christiana Figueres said about Climate Change, ‘ It weren’t never about that.’
This was never about vaccines.
It’s political!
60
Funny how it is an immunized vaccine as opposed to a vaccine that immunizes.

Now here’s some really steaming bullshit-
“More than 100 members of the global super-rich called on Wednesday for governments around the world to “tax us now” to help pay for the pandemic response and tackle the gulf between rich and poor.
The group of 102 millionaires and billionaires, including Disney heiress Abigail Disney, said the current tax system is rigged in their favour and needs to be rewritten to make taxation fairer for hard-working people and restore trust in politics.
“As millionaires, we know that the current tax system is not fair,” they said in an open letter published on Wednesday. “Most of us can say that, while the world has gone through an immense amount of suffering in the last two years, we have actually seen our wealth rise during the pandemic – yet few if any of us can honestly say that we pay our fair share in taxes.”
The super-rich signatories, who brand themselves as “patriotic millionaires”, called for the introduction of “permanent wealth taxes on the richest to help reduce extreme inequality and raise revenue for sustained, long-term increases in public services like healthcare”.
“Restoring trust requires taxing the rich,” they said in the letter, published as world leaders and business executives meet for a virtual Davos World Economic Forum. “The world – every country in it – must demand the rich pay their fair share. Tax us, the rich, and tax us now.”….
“The proposed tax would see those with more than $5m pay 2%, rising to 3% for those with more than $50m and a 5% rate for dollar billionaires.’
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/jan/19/millionaires-call-on-governments-worldwide-to-tax-us-now
So, an extra 2% tax?? WTF! Where were these people when The Beatles were getting taxed at 95%??
They know as well as anyone that their wealth is not taxable income, its all in shares that only generate income when sold. Even then its often inside a Trust or some sort of non-profit, or in a tax haven somewhere.
I’s say we are being played again, and having DAVOS in on it at this time is no coincidence.

Heard on the local radio about a pretty scary study saying precipitation will go down 60% in Chile as a whole (!), hence the Atacama Desert will extent to the central area by 2100. What a crappy way to start the day. I can’t find said study, supposedly it got published in Climate Dynamics (I think), but I’m guessing it uses RCP8.5 and the rest.
