We wonder is the West so addicted to cheap, slave made goods they will accept deceit, bad practice, and bioweapons?
Then we look at the UN and we know the answer is “Yes”. We’ll accept all the lies, and we don’t even need the t-shirts.
China has helped spread four epidemics — and COVID’s not the last
Steven Mosher, New York Post
The Chinese Communist Party has a long history of covering up epidemics within China, and then carelessly — or deliberately — allowing them to spread around the world.
The fall of 1957 saw an outbreak of what came to be known as the Asian flu. It was first reported in the cities of Singapore and Hong Kong, but this new and deadly influenza soon went global.
…even as tens of thousands of Chinese lay dying, the epidemic was kept hidden from view by the Communist authorities.
When infected travelers from China later carried it to Hong Kong and Singapore, the World Health Organization and other public health authorities were caught flatfooted. Thanks to Beijing’s perfidy, quarantines and vaccines came too late. Before the Asian flu had run its two-year course, it had killed well over a million people.
The same scenario played out again 10 years later. In 1968, an unknown influenza had quickly spread throughout the world. It came to be known as the Hong Kong flu, infuriating that city’s Chamber of Commerce, the members of which knew quite well that an epidemic was raging in Mainland China just across the border. Once again, the Communist authorities had refused to alert the world, and another million people died.
SARS-1 was the prequel:
But the Communist regime lied about the disease for months, silenced whistleblowers, doctored data, duped global health authorities, and even accused “outside forces” of carrying out a “bioterrorist” attack.
They did not inform the WHO about the outbreak until February 2003, three months later, and only after Canadian intelligence had already detected and publicly reported on a “flu outbreak” in progress in China.
Like the Spanish flu, SARS could easily have killed tens of millions worldwide had the Canadians not forced Beijing to reveal its existence before it had spread outside of its borders. Its containment was aided by the fact that, while it was highly infectious, it was not airborne. As a result of its early detection and relatively low transmissibility, by the time the SARS epidemic ended in June of 2003, there had been a total of only 8,469 cases reported.
But the lethality of SARS impressed China’s bioweapons experts, and they began discussing how to genetically engineer a SARS-like coronavirus that could easily be transmitted from person to person. The kind where a single sneeze can infect an entire roomful of people.
First China stole manufacturing, then tech and the West gave them away. Then it’s come for the biotech…
Ten years ago China said it was worried about race based genetic bioweapons — Who, exactly, was thinking of a biotech cold war? In 2015 Chinese Military Scientists ominously said the Third World War would be fought with biological weapons. Meanwhile the Chinese military were involved in the Wuhan viral research projects, and they still have another 1,640 new viruses to play with. US Defence also sent money to the Wuhan lab to counter “Weapons of Mass Destruction” and apparently helped create one. CSIRO, and Australian Unis had worked with the Wuhan Lab too (and they forgot to mention it for 18 months?)
China lied about the bats in the lab, and then the WHO helped cover it up. Even if there are bad US players using China for their own purposes, the CCP have guilty written all over SARS-2. On January 1st 2020 the Hubei Health committee ordered all existing virus samples at the Wuhan labs be destroyed. The CCP banned doctors from spreading “rumors” of pneumonia. And domestic travel was banned while the CCP sent Wu-flu to the rest of the world.
Meanwhile in related news in the last three years, the Biden family gained $31m in deals with high level CCP operatives. There’s a shadow war in space “every day”. And Net Zero remains a security threat, yet the West claps along. See: One of 36 Stratagems to defeat the enemy
When is enough, enough?
Steven W. Mosher is the President of the Population Research Institute. This New York Post piece was adapted from his new book, “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Pandemics” (Regnery), published on July 26.
Scott Johnson of Powerline explains how long Steven Mosher has been in this battle and how big a price he has paid:
Readers may recall his (horrifying) field research on China’s one-child policy for his book Broken Earth (1984). He was condemned by the Chinese government and expelled from his Ph.D. program at Stanford in 1983 just short of achieving his doctorate. The Washington Post covered the story here and here.
PS: The China expert Steven Mosher is not the climate commentator some people may know from other debates. Two different men.

GOP Rep. Waltz Calls to ‘Defund’ China — If You See ‘Made in China,’ Put It Down
Waltz warned that American businesses were “drunk on Chinese dollars” and called on them to cease business with any Chinese companies. He said funding China was a “national security issue.”
“If you do business with a Chinese company, if you do business in China, you allow their researchers into your labs,” Waltz explained. “They are going to steal your intellectual property.
“Historians are going to look back at this and say, ‘You funded your greatest competitor. You funded, America, your demise.’

Given China’s refusal to stop exporting fentynal and its precursors to Mexican drug lords, they are not only involved in bio warfare, but chemical warfare as well.
400
Their continued export of drugs of abuse at quantities far in excess of any conceivable legitimate medical use is another way they are weakening the West.
President Trump knew this and tried to stop it.

The more POed they get, the more I like him.
I voted for Trump because I was against the TTP (Trans Pacific Trade Partnership).
For this, I’m labeled a bigot.
Don’t even know the current status of TTP.

I believe that China was played by big pharma. Covid-19 was bio-engineered with gain of function research funded by Fauci. It had to be in China as who else would make the perfect scapegoat. Somebody in Wuhan released it deliberately. Big pharma always wanted a pandemic so it could get its MRNA vaccines approved, in this instance, under emergency use authorisation. That was the plan, protected from all liability by governments accepting all responsibility for side effects. Now they make gigabucks.
300
I don’t think it was released from the lab on purpose, but allowing it to be released to the rest of the world was, and this is on China, not big pharma.
Like China, big pharma clearly took advantage of the situation to the benefit of their own self interests.
321
You obviously have not looked at the covid/Chinese evidence or what is currently happening in China. Everything happens in China for a reason. The release of covid was the crossing of Rubicon for China. Zero military response from our side.
Covid the smart, deadly, highly contagious, virus could not have developed naturally. There is zero evidence to support the ‘natural’ hypothesis. It takes time for a virus to learn how to defeat the human immune system. Covid was super contagious and super effective at damaging humans in complex ways. Same conclusion to explain how the DNA based monkey pox is unexplainably mutating rapidly.
China has installed and staffed hundreds of thousands of new permanent viral testing stations in China, to enable mass testing of the entire Chinese population. China is sort of acting like they are preparing for biological/unconventional war.
Major General Chen Wei took over the Wuhan lab in late 2019. Preparing for the release of covid.
Western countries did not support the concept of military games and did not want to send their personnel to China, for games. China used diplomatic and economic threats to ensure there was ‘Military games in Wuhan, in September 2019.
The Wuhan military games proved the cover story for the reason for the covid release. The official CCP story is that the US developed covid in a US military lab and it leaked out and was spread to China at the Military games.
Participants of the Wuhan Military games officially complained that the games were held in venues that were ridiculously small for the number of participants and that the ventilation systems had been turned off. There were no spectators at the ‘games’ and the were no people moving in and around (normally busy streets were surreally empty) the venues for the ‘games’.
Hours after the planned leak in September, ,” the WIV’s viral sequence database disappeared from the internet. “
https://www.foxnews.com/world/wuhan-lab-report-raises-further-questions-about-possible-covid-19-lab-leak
“On that day, the Wuhan University, less than a mile from the WIV’s headquarters, issued a notice for laboratory inspections. Hours later, the WIV’s viral sequence database disappeared from the internet. “
“Later that evening, the institute published an announcement for bids for “security services” at the lab “to include gatekeepers, guards, video surveillance, security patrols, and people to handle the ‘registration and reception of foreign personnel,’” according to the report.”
341
As a bioweapon, COVID was not a good choice, as it readily mutates and while highly contagious, was not much more deadly than any other flu. More people died because more people were infected, but many of those same people would have succumbed to the common cold. Healthy people survived the virus just fine and by evolving into OMicron, it became nothing but a minor head cold.
It seemed like the worst part of COVID was the spike protein. If it was being developed for use as a weapon, it was wasted on an accidental release, especially since the technology to wrap it around something far more deadly is already here.
Fentynal is far deadlier as a weapon, especially when there’s wide variability in the dosage in a particular counterfeit pill. Taking one is like playing Russian roulette and in the end, all blame is put on the victim.
150
Nonetheless, the reaction against IVM and other anti-virals is puzzling in that context. If CV-19 wasn’t serving a purpose then why should the MSM-Gov cabal try so hard to stop a proven treatement, which proved in Japan and other places rather effective? Much more effective than the useless vaccines and probably harmful boosters. Was it just too much dirty money to be made? Would establishing IVM as an effective anti-viral diminish the effectiveness of similar bioweapans in the future?
121
Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s book about Fauci explains why there was a reaction against IVM and HCQ but we already knew anyway. If there was an alternative treatment the “vaccines” would lose their emergency use authorisation. Plus Fauci only like patented drugs. He is strongly opposed to anything not patented or patentable.
200
China may have been testing the West to see if it could expose our greatest weaknesses and once released, our own corruption and bureaucracies did the rest. The power of Big Pharma was already a major problem. China didn’t need to ban Ivermectin, corruption did.
There are some medical researchers warning that the Covid game is not over. I would like to know they are wrong but I haven’t yet found the detailed responses unpacking their biochemical paths.
Just because a virus is 99.99% survivable in the short run does not mean it has no long term effect, and if it could shorten telomeres, age mitochondria, reduce CD8 t-cells, or increase amyloid deposits or autoimmunity then repeat infections will take on a very dark meaning.
If the West were at it’s peak we would use CRISPR / cheap antivirals / and get rid of it. Or maybe we might even develop a vaccine that works.
120
Probably because it was a trial run to see how the West would react and if the gen pop would just roll over like little sheep. It was a resounding success and so now we await the deadly one.
120
oh contrare – covid – got 70% of america to take an experimental drug – that seems worse than the disease
and I bet you got the jab
10
Does anyone else recall that Kung Flu first “publicly” manifested itself immediately after the “World Military Games?
Anyone else remember when and where those games were held?
Road test?
If the bug could floor hard-core military types in peak condition, it was a good brew; worth “pursuing”. The simple but harsh metric is that it takes a LOT more human and materiel resources to look after a a non-ambulatory casualty than a dead one.
Given the close physiological similarities between humans and pigs, could the outbreak of “swine Flu” that destroyed the entire commercial Chinese pork business, have been an “own goal”? Forget the mythical bats in the wet market; think bigger and more analogous to humans. It was interesting to watch livestock markets in the wake of that. Chinese money effectively bought up the entire, vertically integrated pork industry in Canada and made a good stab into the US one.
80
No one is talking much about the zoonotic spread of covid. The wild white-tailed deer in north America are widely testing positive (when there is testing). I’d like to know about swine and any other animals that are spreading it and also a source of new variants.
Again, virtually no one is talking about it.
01
because it is insignificant?
00
Well, what do you expect from a Totalitarian and Authoritarian Regime? Kisses, cuddles and lots of nice stuff?
No, not really.
All research work on Bio-Weapons and the Bio-Weapons themselves should be banned. After all, Chemical Weapons are supposed to have been banned. This is where the UN needs to get it’s backside into gear and get this sorted. If it can only move away from all the mumbo jumbo that currently goes on in the place in New York that is.
And then police the ban just like with Nuclear proliferation and as with Chemical Weapons (I hope).

Of course, China would not get away with this had they not carefully cultivated a slave army of useful idiots of the Left in the West.
These useful idiots of the Left are embedded in virtually all public and private institutions and among politicians.
The useful idiots serve to discourage any criticism of China and generally cultivate support for it.
Apart from the useful idiots, there are also actual Chinese agents working closely with government or politicians.
Look at examples such as:
US Representative Eric Swalwell’s relationship with Fang Fang aka Christine Fang, a suspected Chinese spy who also relationships with other officials.
And in the Australian fiefdom of Vicdanistan:

I agree David. Why is China currently forcing their population to achieve zero cases of covid Omicron? Omicron is as contagious as small pox and is as deadly as the flu. For that reason/logical fact, every country, except China have officially decided, to live with covid Omicron.
It is expensive and disruptive to force all Chinese cities to shutdown and isolate and to continually test their population, if there is even a single case of covid.
The zero Omicron policy in China, adversely affects the freedom, life, and health of every Chinese citizen and their economy.
The excuse for the draconian, irrational Chinese policy, is that Xi is too stubborn to change his ‘mind’.
China has developed and installed a vast system of cameras enabling face recognition and tracking of Chinese citizens. These systems which they are now testing using Omicron, would enable their population to survive and economically prosper during virus attacks. Say Ebola Mengla that is contagious as Omicron.

Bairnsdale ulcer.
Murray Valley encephalitis.
Barmah Forest virus.
Etc..

What have we learned? Depends on who “we” are. Our betters, the politicians and bureaucrats have learned absolutely nothing but the rest of us have learned that trusting China is about the same as trusting a brown snake. We do know the Chinese are duplicitous and have no desire to be good neighbours unless it promotes their own well being and if it is at our expense so much the better. Our leaders are absolute fools and are ensuring our eventual enslavement by the Chinese. I am beginning to wonder how much we can trust the Chinese who live here. Whose side would they be on come a conflict? President Sukarno knew the Chinese posed a threat to Indonesia way back in the 60s and did his utmost to destroy their influence. When one considers Chinese influence in our universities we must accept that many if not most of them are working for Chairman Xi at our expense. When do our so called leaders say enough is enough and send them all home?
220
You just have to look at how Chinese students in our universities harangue Australian students who hold anti-Chinese government demonstrations to know whose side they are on. Chinese who have lived here for one or more generations still have family back in China and the CCP know who they are. Who would you obey if it comes to the crunch?
20
The Chinese are winning WW3 without the use of any military hardware.
The virus can be classified as military “wetware” I guess.
And yes, this is WW3, it just hasn’t gone “hot” yet and probably won’t need to as the leaderless, clueless, Leftist-infiltrated West and its population of utterly-dumbed down, indoctrinated people, will roll over without a fight.
Chinese children learn literacy, numeracy, history, other traditional academic subjects and China’s desired place in the world as the dominant force within ten years.
Western children have “Drag Queen Story Hour”, learn that there are 57 (or whatever) supposed genders, and learn that Western Civilisation, especially as practiced by the Anglo-origin democracies is the absolute worst thing that ever happened to the world. Even Western militaries see LGBTXYZ+- issues as more important than military power (see the Biden era ads for the US Army and CIA).
The Chicomms are laughing their way to world domination.
211
I wonder to what extent pandemic and epidemic viruses are more likely to evolve in China due to extensive consumption of nearly all animals (and regardless of conservation status), thus encouraging zoonotic transmission.
In Western countries it is primarily just a limited range of traditional farm animals and seafood that are eaten.
And as I keep warning, as the Left’s war against traditional agriculture hots up, including their war against what they ignorantly call “nitrogen” there will be more and more promotion of insect consumption, what they call “alternative protein” because it sounds so much better than “bugs”. Canada is leading the way. https://allamericanpress.com/canadian-plant-produces-edible-insects-as-food-for-humans/

So China is planning for bio warfare, and what have we learned from the Covid experience ? Some say to just keep on going, don’t worry about it, protect the vulnerable their greatest offering. The other, is to panic, fuel the panic, develop a drug for it and demand everyone take it, allow foreigners in but lock up the local people until all drugged.
Personally I’d prefer Taiwan’s management skills, who managed an integrated pest management program of the highest order, to great effect without high loss, learning from their past experiences. But I am in a tiny minority.
This time it may have been just a bad or strange flu, but next time what will it be ? What if a really nasty one is released. Relax, we know exactly what to do. We just worked it all out with that trial run, right?
90
They were experimenting and their biosecurity was poor, so it escaped.
This wasn’t a trial run, incompetence by local authorities trying to keep a lid on the outbreak, but it got into the rail system on the way to the airport and the rest is history.
They shot themselves in the foot.

More information here (bottom link). The article doesn’t specify which antivirals but I’d be willing to bet they aren’t IVM or HCQ. More likely they are Lagevrio (molnupiravir) and Paxlovid (nirmatrelvir and ritonavir).
Molnupiravir is just a touch mutagenic.

Phillip, yes the 2 products are Lagevrio (molnupiravir) and Paxlovid (nirmatrelvir and ritonavir). Paxlovid has been available in Australia to certain groups ( eg immunocompromised) for many months but not with any fanfare. It had been treated hush hush. My son had Paxlovid back in March for COVID because he has a special health condition. But he was instructed not to tell anyone about it. Now incoming Labor health minister ( Mark Butler ) appears to have released these products to more people as a result of the COVID wave ( or is it waves?) But very soon more people are going to join the dots. More people are going to ask the obvious question- “… if there’s early treatments available why do I need a leaky vaccine that doesn’t stop infection or transmission?”. Which is what a lot more of us should have been asking way back in early 2020.
90
As someone over 50 whose white blood cell count and other immune system efficacy numbers are in the sub basement due to some aggressive chemo dosing, I was strongly encouraged to allow administration of Evusheld prophylactically. It consists of two different monoclonal antibodies (tixagevimab and cilgavimab) injected separately, but at the same time and is supposed to confer protection against contracting Covid 19 and likely mutations for six months or longer.
When I asked if my wife should have it, too, so she would be less likely to bring Covid, et. al. home to me, my doctors looked around and hemmed and hawed and finally said, “No.” I do not know if it was a cost issue, an insurance coverage issue, or a violation of the rules for an emergency use authorization drug, but they made it clear that she could not get it.

NZ is taking a softly softly approach to the dragon in the room, is this a mistake?
Beijing has only four demands for Australia, to get our relationship back on an even keel, which amounts to us not criticising them. Unfortunately for them, we have a free media and it cannot be suppressed.
Canberra criticises Beijing for its treatment of minorities within their own country. This appears as hypocrisy when you consider that a third of Australia’s prison population is indigenous.

Not sure we need to totally blame China for some of the wrongdoings regarding epidemics. I think there’s plenty of people in the “west” who have equally promoted those epidemics. At every stage of the COVID episode the name FAUCI appears, and not in a good way. Never heard of the bloke until he popped up in a Youtube press conference with Trump way back in early 2020 and my first impression was he was “shifty”. I have since learned a lot about him- again, not in a good way. I am presently ploughing through “The real Anthony Fauci” by Robert F Kennedy Jr book. I’ve not always been a fan of RFK Jnr, but this book is enlightening and depressing at the same time. If you want to look at the undue promotion of all things epidemic then look no further than Anthony Fauci. From AIDS to SARS 1 to Swine flu to Dengue Fever to Zika to COVID 19- you name it and Fauci appears front and centre pushing bad science and bad solutions like leaky vaccines. That is “allegedly” of course, if RFK Jnr has all his facts correct, which he appears to. All the info is visible in plain sight, but Fauci is so powerful that he simply cant be touched. The spooky thing is how his influence then spreads worldwide and little countries like Australia are just grist for his pharmaceutical/ big health industry mill.

New ‘Tico variant’ of the coronavirus is confirmed in the southern zone
It is named XAF; is a subvariant of ómicron with genetic characteristics of two subvariants present since before in Tico soil. This variant is neither more contagious nor more aggressive than the previous omicron, its genetics are simply different.
QCOSTARICA – A new “Tico variant” of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes covid-19) very different (genetically speaking) from the one we had in 2021 gave rise to a cluster in the southern part of our country.
As of June 25, the Instituto Costarricense de Investigación y Enseñanza en Nutrición y Salud (Inciensa) – Costa Rican Institute for Research and Teaching in Nutrition and Health, the entity in charge of coordinating the genomic analysis of the virus, had recorded 129 cases.

“We wonder is the West so addicted to cheap, slave made goods they will accept deceit, bad practice, and bioweapons?”
The West accepts deceit, bad practice, and bioweapons from the USA. (And from the US biolabs in the Ukraine.) Why not from China as well?

The Spanish Flu seems to have originated in an American Army Base in the USA and went from there to Europe. American army doctors at the time were experimenting with vaccines on their own troops. The pandemic was very bad and many died of respiratory illness, mostly young people.
Subsequent trials were unable to transmit the illness from one person to another, even when a patient coughed directly into the face of an uninfected person!
Is it possible that the vaccines were the cause of the pandemic illness?

Suggest you pay attention to the comments from Jeff Sachs, who led and then disbanded the Lancet commission https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10980715/Covid-leaked-AMERICAN-lab-claims-professor-Jeffrey-Sachs.html. He tried to get the message out in the most prestigious journal in America but was mostly ignored https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2202769119.

“Anyone who thinks China’s biotechnology labs are going to be used for noble scientific purposes is committing the same fatal error that Dr. Fauci did.”
Except Fauci didn’t commit an error; he and his cronies knew exactly what was going on and what the US funding was for. They are every bit as complicit as the CCP is.
