Why Is Australia Going After Elon Musk? : https://www.theepochtimes.com/epochtv/why-is-australia-going-after-elon-musk-5636696
The Chinese Communist Party attacks The Epoch Times, which reports that the Australian Communist Party is attacking Elon Musk for refusing to censor a video showing an Islamic knife attack on a Christian Bishop in Sydney.
Elon Musk accused Australia of censorship after an Australian judge ruled that his social media platform X must block users worldwide from accessing video showing a violent stabbing of a bishop in a Sydney church.
The Australian Communist Party wants to ban journalists and the global media from reporting any knife attacks by Islamic people on Christians, but does not mind any reports of the Christchurch mosque shootings.
Australia’s eSafety Commission is the world’s first government agency dedicated to keeping people safer online by the use of selective censorship of news inconvenient to Islamic and left-wing narratives, including reports of deaths after vaccination.

The Communist Albanese Goverment is putting in place a modern version of “book burning”.
“Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it”
https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/goebbels-burnings/
Many writers called to mind the prophetic observation by 19th century German writer Heinrich Heine that “where one burns books, one will soon burn people.” After the bonfires, 100,000 people marched in New York City to protest Nazi policies. Similar demonstrations occurred in Philadelphia, Chicago, and St. Louis.
Albanese’s justification for censorship sound a lot like those of Joseph Goebbels
Where are the protests today?
300
Back in the day the National Socialists burned Einstein and other books (before they started burning people).
Interestingly the modern Left uses the same arguments of “consensus” in favour of “climate change” as they did against Einstein.

It’s the same with man made CO2 driven Global Warming. My one indisputable fact is that fossil fuel CO2 in the air is only 3.0% (of CO2). It is the cornerstone. Gone.
Proven in 1958 by New Zealander G.J.Fergusson and published by the Royal Society. That should have been an end to it.
The very slow and small increase in CO2 over 250 years is natural and associated with ocean warming. Whether CO2 causes warming is irrelevant. We do not and cannot control CO2 and all fossil fuel ’emissions’ go straight in the ocean with the other 98% of CO2. The churning in CO2 between earth and sky is massive, 860million tons a day, far more than the 160 million tons of fossil fuel CO2.
So carbon farming, carbon credits, growing trees, electric cars, windmills, all busted. And I always get asked how millions of self appointed ‘climate scientists’ can be wrong? Because they are. And they need new jobs.
340
The plot of a young aspiring non scientist Al Gore and the UN/WHO 1998 classic “Man Made Global Warming” reminds me of the Dan Brown classic “Angels and Demons” where a young priest aspiring to greatness reinvented the Illuminati scare to grab the Papacy and power over 1 billion souls.
The fossil fuel CO2 scare was put to bed with radio carbon dating. But he resurrected it along with a few conspirators. All did well. And Al Gore nearly made it to US President, frustrated only by a few dropped chads in Florida. A billionare today greatest invention lives on as is as invalid today as it was in 1988. That’s the real Inconvenient Truth.
One day the real story of this grab for power will be told. Today it is used to sell half a million Chinese windmills, billions of Chinese solar panels and tens of millions of self immolating Electric cars and vacuum cleaners.
200
“….fossil fuel CO2 in the air is only 3%” IMO should be 3% of 420 ppm, which is 3% of 0.04%. A very small amount! And we are spending $trillions on a non-existing vestige of CO2?
210
Agreed. That is what I meant.
98% of all CO2 is in the ocean. So it is obvious that 98% of all fossil fuel CO2 must end up in the ocean too. The only question is how long this will take. And the answer is that absorption of all atmospheric CO2 takes about 10 years. Absorption of low altitude CO2 takes about 2 years. And bushfire CO2 over the ocean vanishes in a week or two as observed by NASA/CSIRO etc. Although they credit iron not CO2. And NASA claims CO2 is a ‘fertilizer’ when plants are made from CO2. It is not a fertilizer. Anything really to avoid the obvious.
70
Louder, MUCH LOUDER and MORE often. These simple facts just kill all the renewable scams.
00
Should thinking people here leave Communist Australia sufferring under a repressive Albanese government and move to Russia?
Or maybe Argentina?
90
“Where are the protests today?”
Too dangerous to go to a protest, these days its all about “keeping people safer “.
Besides, modern University students have no passion, no energy, and hence no sex and no children. Something in the food or the electro-smog or plastics or the fluoride in the water or the vaccines or…
80
“modern University students have no passion”
Hatred is one form of passion isn’t it?
130
In the words (approximately) of Heinrich Heine (1823):
“Dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen,”
“Where one burns books, there one eventually burns people.”
NONE of this will end well; nor is it so intended.
150
Elon Musk used to be a darling of the Left until he exposed US election interference on social(ist) media by the former Leftist owners of Twitter/X and also started allowing free speech on his platform.
They also hate him for exposing one of the hereto unknown reasons for Biden opening the southern US border.

Illegals can be paid low wages and if they cause any trouble they can be easily deported. Welcome to the 21st century world of indentured labour.
151
Like to see your plan for easily deporting many millions of illegals. That horse may have bolted.
100
Already been thought out: You don’t need to round up illegal aliens and deport them. What you do is to introduce a citizen government services card that is for every legal resident and that links all federal, state and local government services including taxation, social security etc to the resident. Citizens would have that card by right. The illegal aliens would not be eligible for it. They would have to sort themselves out.
31
Creating a hugely criminogenic situation.
30
That card, let’s call it the Australia Card or the more modern digital ID shall we. Citisens have citisenship as a right. You are now asking for what most oppose, this is how they work.
Now you have millions of un-wanted in your town/city with no money, no food, no shelter and no hope, should go quite well.
Your right to vote has now been revoked.
20
The Australia Card was required for bank accounts and the government could refuse to issue it to citizens – it wasn’t their’s by right – hence all the protests (including yours truly).
If America adopts a ‘Citizens Card’ yes it would potentially be messy. The situation that they have there is that the Dems pile on the immigrants and then the Republicans roll over and give them residency \ citizenship. Maybe they will do both.
10
The principle of the Australia Card was rejected by a referendum of Australian citizens, it never was.
It has now been reinvented as the Digital ID, it must also be rejected.
Immigrants, we are bringing them in at 2000 a day, funny there does not appear to be a lot of these immigrants in tents around the place.
They are being imported into every Western country by that countries own Government and all on the tax dollars, wonder why?
50
Yarpos, that horse has bolted.
The means to bring it to a halt may end up being more drastic than we would like.
“The dirty little secret about ethnic cleansing is that it works.”
Desperate people do horrible things after being nice hasn’t worked.
10
It’s my understanding that the number of seats allocated a state is based on the number of people in the state, not the number of citizens. California might be losing voters to red states around it, but the influx of illegal immigrants into cities such as San Diego is probably keeping the states seats in Congress.
80
I Think I’ll put my money on Elon.
He is ahead already.

‘ … Australian Communist Party …’
Massive fail, Australia has a democratic socialist government and has no intentions of taking away our freedoms. They run the risk of being thrown out at the next election.
Reading through the other points you make, its mostly disinformation.
313
Democratically they were thrown out at the last election. Two out of every three Australians voted against Albo. Morrison got more primary votes than Albo. Albo was not elected, he was installed.
201
Its our Westminster system, if we could replace Dutton with a charismatic leader the centre right would regain the treasury benches.
62
Australia has a UniParty and so has no real democracy.
Team Blue replaces Team Red and then vice versa. Meanwhile the corrupt Public Serpents who actually run the show rake in their bribes and treat elected politicians with contempt.
81
The major parties seek the middle ground to gain the most votes. We have to win back those Teal seats.
Some public servants and politicians are caught being corrupt and they suffer the consequences, but the system as a whole is not corrupt. Its not Yes Minister.
34
It’s like a breath of fresh air when you hear things like that!
How sweet, refreshing and innocent to know that there are still naive, blind, unsuspecting Pollyanna’s innocently trusting their optimism.
I know there are people in the public service oblivious to what’s going on around them. To those people I say Yes Minister was funny precisely because it was based on reality.
Only the reality is much worse.
Yes Minister is fiction, and fiction has to be believable.
Fact is stranger than fiction, and if you told the convoluted horrors that is the actual truth in a show like that it wouldn’t be believable.
11
Oops I hit the wrong button – transfer a green to red. Australia’s prime minister, Anthony Albanese, simply does Xi Jinping’s bidding. It is realistic to call his political party the communist party, but inaccurate. It isn’t actually a party at all, it is just an arm of the CCP. We can only hope that the system stays up long enough for the people to be able to remove them at the next federal election. Thank goodness we have paper-based voting systems, but it may already be too late. The CCP has infiltrated all our electronic systems and a recent report said that the CCP had already laid electronic landmines throughout the whole of Australia’s infrastructure. It’s no fun living tbrough the Confucian curse.
32
Rest assured the next federal election will be free and fair
‘it is just an arm of the CCP.’
Not really, China is our biggest trading partner and Albo is being polite to avoid losing trade. We are integral members of the US Alliance standing in XI’s way, at arm’s length.

AI and Nuclear Energy
I hope Peter Dutton has taken note.
Australia has the highest reserves of Uranium in the world and should be a “Nuclear Energy Powerhouse”
https://stopthesethings.com/2024/04/27/turn-up-the-baseload-nuclear-plants-keep-delivering-power-all-day-every-day/
230
The only downside would be this bit “carbon free” CO2 Lover, amIright?
80
Indeed Skepticynic.
It’s simply staggering that those making scientific and engineering decisions that are destroying our civilisation do not know the correct name of the trace gas they most complain about.
190
Yes, let’s emit more Carbon Dioxide for a greener future.
Can we get a three word slogan out of that?
100
How about four words, “carbon dioxide means life” or the three word version which warmists wouldn’t understand because it doesn’t have the word “carbon”, “CO2 means life“.
180
Carbon? Up yours.
90
Let’s make Tennis Elbow and Blackout Bowen “carbon free”. That should stop them in their tracks. LOL.

Australia is aleady a coal exporting powerhouse – just can’t use the stuff at home because of corrupt politicians in the pockets of the UN and WEF
220
Do you believe Australia has the world’s biggest reserves of uranium.?
You reckon it couldn’t just be that we are the only ones silly enough to dig it up and sell it at the current price?
40
I would expect some proper research to reveal that the biggest reserves are held by 1. Russia, 2. China and 3. Canada.
00
It’s ironic that one of the key weapons of the Left being used to destroy Western Civilisation is AI with its proven Leftist and history-denying biases in the popular models (African National Socialists, really?) can’t use weather dependent energy, so beloved by the Left.
90
But see #14
00
Much lower cost to just burn lignite if you put the power stations on the coal deposit.
Victoria is the second largest lignite deposits globally, only pipped by Russia. Victoria could be the powerhouse of Australia. Lignite has the benefit that there is no ocean borne trade so no international pressure on price.
70
This nuclear plant has two units. Each Unit has a BWR reactor driving a steam turbine driving a 1350MW generator with a combined nominal Nameplate of 2514MW.
It has been in operation now for almost 40 years.
It has operated with a lifetime Capacity Factor of 85%.
It has an average yearly output of 20,000GWH.
The total output of EVERY Industrial wind plant in Australia was 27,000GWH last year.
One nuclear power plant versus 84 Industrial wind plants.
Tony.
260
Game Over
Wind turbines (made in China) are lucky to last 15 years.
Before the Industrial Revolution windmills and waterwheels where the “Clean Green Renewable Energy” of their time. But these relied on favourable weather.
But when reliable coal and steam engines came along it was game over.
60
Some like it hot.
So bring on more global warming/boiling
Those living in the People’s Republic of Victoriastan will be looking closely at their winter heating bills. It would be great to have some coral reefs off the Surf Coast.
https://notrickszone.com/
250
Cold, as caused by having expensive, unreliable energy, is a real killer, much more so than heat. Humans are much more tolerant of heat than cold.
170
Another benefit of global warming for the Surf Coast would be a reduction in the cases of “Surfer’s ear”
Prolonged exposure to cold water and wind are the cause of Surfer’s ear. Cold water surfers are 6 times more likely to get Surfer’s ear than warm water surfers.
Surfer’s ear is a condition where the bone of the ear canal develops multiple bony growths called exostoses. Over time, this can eventually cause a partial or even complete blockage of the ear canal.
120
Clearly ear muffs must be made mandatory for all surfers below 38S
60
And not only surfers: boatie & diving friends, who’ve never surfed, are now lining up to get their exostoses scraped. Oh for some of that 100 degree Celsius sea water…
Then again, my niece succumbed to an ear infection while surfing Indonesia earlier this month – more a case of end-of-wet-season pollution in the water rather than a temperature thing.
80
And a lot of bull sharks at the Balian break.

Surfers?
I thought they were called SAD’s. (Shark Attracting Devices)
Or Shark Feeding Stations.

That’s what happened to Beethoven, isn’t it?
I didn’t even realize he did much surfing … but I presume the lederhosen wetsuits didn’t offer much ear protection.

NEW ChatGPT Memory Update is Live!
ChatGPT can now remember our conversations so as to know more about us.
Is this development of AI a good or a bad thing? – especially in an environment where the Ministry of Truth may also be interested in such “conversations”

That’s one of the reasons I don’t use digital assistants such as Alexa, Siri, Goolag Assistant etc..
AI is a good thing in principle (as long as we can pull the plug) but the big AI engines have a proven Leftist bias and behind them are some of the world’s most wicked corporations and individuals.
220
You know, Big Tech aren’t offering these services for free (or low cost for certain services) out of the goodness of their hearts (although they are heartless).
They do it because you are the product to be used and manipulated by them.
140
It may already have done some of that. I asked it about Happer’s skepticism and it began by saying Will was an outsider from mainstream science. I came back on twice asking the same thing but each time pressing for his specific views. The bot got his views right and the third time on it dropped the negative intro.
Maybe it can learn to provide skeptical info to skeptics. That would be useful.
211
I suspect that the bot can learn from talking to you for talking to you, but that the stuff it learns from you will not be applied to conversations with others. Why would it do that, if its aim is to promote left-wing propaganda.
80
True they do not learn, but I doubt that is the aim, just a limitation. We do not understand abstract learning so cannot emulate it.
61
Theere is very important work done by a now deceased NASA GISS physicist on electro-magnetic radiation energy transfer. His work underpins modern remote sensing.
When I asked detailed questions of ChatGPT with regard Michael Mischenko it informed me that it had learnt that in its training.
Anything that ChatGPT has on climate is glib propoganda. It has no ability to assess information. The one feature I like is that it will apologise for a logic error unlike the useful idiots who spout The Science™.

Question: Happer’s skepticism
CoPilot Answer
William Happer, a physicist and former Princeton professor, gained notoriety as a climate change skeptic within the Trump administration. His views veer far to the right of typical conservatives who question the severity of the climate crisis1.
Here are some key points about Happer:
Climate Change Skepticism:
In the early 1990s, Happer expressed unease with the scientific consensus that humans were causing global heating. He disagreed with climate researchers and clashed with Al Gore over evidence related to the ozone layer1.
His position goes beyond questioning the severity of climate change. Unlike Trump’s former EPA chief, Scott Pruitt, who questioned human-caused global warming, Happer believes that the extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is beneficial to the planet1.
Happer’s skepticism centers on the idea that increased levels of carbon dioxide over the last 80 to 100 years have positive value for humanity—a position widely rejected by establishment scientists2.
National Security Council Role:
Happer was appointed as the director of emerging technologies on the White House’s National Security Council. In this role, he has pushed to challenge the government’s findings that climate change poses a national security threat1.
Controversy and Dissent:
Happer’s reputation as a renegade and dissident stems from his dissenting views within a small subculture of academics who dispute the man-made climate crisis.
His ideology places him further to the right than most conservative climate skeptics1.
In summary, William Happer’s skepticism about climate change and his belief in the benefits of extra carbon dioxide set him apart from mainstream scientific consensus1. However, his views remain controversial and are not widely accepted by the scientific community2.
110
You
What are the main arguments against Happer’s views?
Copilot
Certainly! Here are some of the main arguments against William Happer’s views on climate change:
Scientific Consensus:
. The overwhelming majority of climate scientists agree that human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels, are the primary driver of global warming. Happer’s views stand in stark contrast to this consensus.
. Critics argue that Happer’s skepticism is based on selective data and a disregard for the comprehensive body of evidence supporting anthropogenic climate change.
Cherry-Picking Data:
. Happer has been accused of cherry-picking data to support his claims. For instance, he often highlights periods of natural climate variability (such as the Medieval Warm Period) while downplaying the long-term trends driven by human activities.
. Critics argue that focusing on short-term fluctuations ignores the broader context of climate change.
Ignoring Feedback Mechanisms:
. Happer’s belief that increased carbon dioxide is beneficial overlooks the complex feedback mechanisms in the Earth’s climate system. While plants do benefit from higher CO₂ levels, other factors (such as ocean acidification and temperature rise) have negative consequences.
. Critics emphasize that the net impact of rising CO₂ levels is detrimental to ecosystems and human societies.
Economic and Health Impacts:
. Happer’s dismissal of climate change risks neglects the potential economic and health consequences. Extreme weather events, sea-level rise, and disruptions to agriculture can have severe impacts on communities and economies.
. Critics argue that addressing climate change is a prudent risk management strategy.
Misunderstanding the Greenhouse Effect:
. Happer’s assertion that more CO₂ is beneficial stems from a misunderstanding of the greenhouse effect. While CO₂ is essential for life on Earth, an excess of it traps more heat in the atmosphere, leading to global warming.
. Critics emphasize that the issue lies in the rate of CO₂ increase, not its mere presence.
In summary, critics of Happer’s views highlight the importance of considering the broader scientific consensus, understanding feedback mechanisms, and recognizing the potential consequences of climate change. They argue that his skepticism lacks a comprehensive understanding of the complex climate system and its impacts[3].
60
You
What are the main arguments for Happer’s views?
Copilot
Certainly! Here are some of the main arguments in favor of William Happer’s views on climate change:
Beneficial Effects of Carbon Dioxide:
. Happer contends that increased levels of carbon dioxide (CO₂) have positive effects on plant growth. He argues that higher CO₂ concentrations enhance photosynthesis, leading to better crop yields and greener ecosystems.
. According to Happer, the Earth has experienced periods with much higher CO₂ levels in the past, and life thrived during those times.
Natural Climate Variability:
. Happer emphasizes natural climate variability as a significant factor. He points to historical climate fluctuations, such as the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age, to argue that climate change is not solely driven by human activity.
. His position suggests that attributing all climate changes to human influence oversimplifies a complex system.
Questioning Climate Sensitivity:
. Happer challenges the concept of climate sensitivity—the degree of temperature increase resulting from a doubling of atmospheric CO₂. He believes that climate models overestimate this sensitivity.
. His argument is that feedback mechanisms may not amplify warming as much as predicted by mainstream climate science.
Economic Considerations:
. Happer raises concerns about the economic costs of aggressive climate policies. He argues that focusing on adaptation rather than drastic emissions reductions could be more practical and cost-effective.
. His viewpoint prioritizes economic growth and technological innovation over immediate emissions reduction.
Freedom to Innovate:
. Happer advocates for a more open and innovative approach to addressing climate challenges. He believes that stifling dissenting views hinders scientific progress.
. His position aligns with the idea that diverse perspectives can lead to better solutions.
In summary, William Happer’s arguments center around the benefits of CO₂, natural climate variability, skepticism about climate sensitivity, economic considerations, and the importance of intellectual freedom in scientific discourse[3]. However, it’s essential to recognize that these views remain contentious and are not widely accepted by the scientific community.
60
I asked two questions about Will Happer’s views on climate change and then received the following message…. “Sorry, this conversation has reached its limit. Let’s start a new chat”. This has never happened to me before when I have asked multiple questions.
70
I understand the anthropogenic part of the rise in atmospheric CO2 is only a minute part of the overall rise. The rest is from environmental sources. The discussion of global warming always falls into the trap of considering all rise in CO2 concentration is due to anthropogenic sources. One would like to see the same intense scrutiny of the environmentally sourced CO2 alongside the anthropogenic. Of course, the entire argument of the activists seems to evolve around the total CO2 concentration in the atmosphere for effect. If the environmental CO2 output is the overwhelming part of the CO2 rise, and if CO2 is CO2 regardless of source, and I presume it is, surely the environmental production of CO2 is the one that must be controlled and that is impossible. How can anyone allocate the warming argument to be entirely and maximally caused by human sourced CO2, regardless of one believing it is destructive or not? If one cannot control nature’s production of CO2 then surely the entire logic of destroying one’s economy believing CO2 production can be controlled by reducing human production is a furfy or dysinformative.

“Is this development of AI a good or a bad thing? ”
Wife gave me her old iphone and some setting I was looking at said- “You are not connected to the icloud. Connect to the icloud where we will store your data for you as a backup”
So Apple have a recording of everything you have sent through one of their phones.
Now I don’t even turn it on unless I want to message someone!
80
Microsoft is increasingly setting their software default to send data to their cloud. I find it useful for big files that are too big to email or for this site where links can be posted but no image files.
You will be able to turn off automatic backup to the cloud but if there is a software update it will likely default to sending backup to the cloud.
A while back, I was sailing with a friend coming into Port Philip in the dark. Just outside the heads, the laptop he was using for navigation went into automatic update. It was not linked to the internet but was set to update at midnight on the particular day. So the file had been loaded when it was on the internet a few days before. He had no idea what the settings were because it was set up by his tech guy. I reverted to my portable GPS that does not do automatic software updates.
Everyone in the developed world will have a huge amount of data being collected on them without their knowledge. And it is all accessible to government agencies as well as the big tech analysing the stuff for profit.

“If I was this country’s Chief Medical Officer I would be regarding the detoxification of the spike protein as a national emergency priority. There are many protocols being tried but being ignored by the NHS and other authorities. They should be immediately tested for the ability to eliminate circulating mRNA of the spike protein. Increasing the levels of Vitamin D3 is the only one that everyone agrees on that patients can take to help themselves to reduce the risk immediately. Others such as low-dose naltrexone (LDN) and ivermectin have been reported from several groups as being useful and should therefore be tested immediately as we have the know-how to do this.”

You can bet batteries made in Australia will cost a lot more that those produced by Tesla.
How much taxpayer’s money will be sucked up by the rent seeker running Renaissance?
If Ausralia cannot competed with Chinese manufacturing why should manufacturing batteries be any diffferent?

“Why not simply … ”
Easy. The whole point of the trans issue is to divide us and cause social friction. Consequently, potentially workable compromises such as you suggest are not welcome. Those flames must be fanned.
This is also why pretty much every issue these days is politicised – even pandemics.

Large parts of the World are totally pissed off with the USSA – hence BRICS. The USSA acts like spoilt little brats. The fact that they haven’t been put over moma’s knee and been given a good walloping means that they are now spoilt big brats. Something that the big boys – the grownups – in BRICS are in the process of rectifying. How big a walloping and in what form it will be is the question.

That’s pretty well how I see it too, Kim. The ‘Freedom and democracy protector’ of the world is actually just the playground bully making sure it can steal lunches from everyone else.
The quickest way to collapse their influence is to avoid the $US, and once that is irrelevant they will have to work for a living like the rest of us. That means their debt collapses and the military industry gets its budget slashed. Otherwise, social upheaval kills all empires eventually, but the dollar is quicker. Adopting the gold standard would see it all over a couple of years.

Some thoughts on AI and legal evidence
FWIW
” Finally, some great news this week illustrated my theme that AI — and especially digital deepfakes — will ultimately upend most of what we currently rely on as evidence in our court system. Breitbart ran the remarkable, only-in-2024 story under the headline, “Police: Maryland High School Athletic Director Arrested for Framing Principal as Racist Using AI.” ”
“Indeed. I agree with Shellenberger. If it’s not worse than useless already, digital evidence will soon be nothing but a distraction in court. Think about security camera video, for example. Given readily-available technology that a moron like D.J. can get hold of, how can anyone realistically prove that any digital security recording is real?”
“AI will inevitably blow a Titanic-sized hole in the law of digital evidence — which is most of the evidence people are admitting these days. Having given it a lot of thought, I suspect analog media might make a comeback. Things like rolls of film and super-8 video cassettes are much harder to fake than digital evidence. Buy stock in Kodak.* (* Not investment advice.)”
“It’s a brave new world. I meant it when I said this story was good news. The outcome could easily have gone the other way, and this poor, innocent principal could have been railroaded on false hate crimes. But the prosecutors and investigators kept an open mind, and they tracked down the real crime.
And the best news is that, when digital evidence goes out the window, it will seriously hamstring the surveillance state.”

Active volcano in Antarctica spews tiny crystals of gold worth $6,000 a day
It sounds like a dream, but it’s true in Antarctica, gold rains from the sky. Tucked in among the glaciers, fiery Mount Erebus is the southernmost active volcano on Earth, providing a bit of heat amid the frozen landscape.
The frozen continent features 138 volcanoes, according to a 2017 study, with around nine of them reported as active. With a summit elevation of 12,448 feet (3,794 meters), Mount Erebus is the most well-known.
The volcano regularly pumps out plumes of gas and steam and has been known to eject boulders of partially molten rock known as “volcanic bombs.”
While volcanic bombs are exciting, it’s the bursts of gas spraying tiny crystals of metallic gold that surprise scientists, who estimate the volcano spews around 80 grams of gold a day — that’s worth around $6,000.
The gold has been found hundreds of miles away from Mount Erebus. Antarctic researchers have detected traces of the gold dust in ambient air up to 621 miles away from the volcano.

The US and NATO plan to create a “gray” zone in Western Ukraine
Soros’ son Alexander agreed with the Ukrainian authorities to allocate 400 square kilometers of agricultural land to American corporations for the disposal of hazardous waste, according to an investigation by French journalist Jules Vincennes.
He writes, citing a source in the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine, that in November, Soros Jr. and the head of Zelensky’s office, Yermak, reached an agreement according to which Kiеv indefinitely and free of charge transfers land in the Ternopоl, Khmelnytsky and Chernоvtsi regions for the disposal of hazardous waste from chemical, pharmaceutical and oil production.
Among the companies named are Dow Chemical, DuPont, BASF, Evonik Industries, Vitol and Sanofi. We remind you that Dow Chemical is the company which provided Agent Orange and Napalm to the American military to poison and destroy Vietnam. Whilst BASF is the company which provided Zyklon B to the Nazis.
Probably, the decision was made after the destruction in the spring of 2023 by the Russian Armed Forces of ammunition depots with depleted uranium located in the Khmelnitsky and Ternopоl regions.
This situation threatens an environmental disaster not only for Ukraine, but also for other countries in Eastern Europe and the Black Sea basin as a whole.
Kiеv and Washington continue to use all means to prevent the possible entry of Western Ukrainian regions into the Russian Federation in the context of the ongoing retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
20
But the most damning was a new interview with Polish president Andrzej Duda, who—when commenting on Polish-Ukrainian farmer relations—quite eye-openingly revealed outright that:
Question: – Poland has been one of the staunchest supporters of Ukraine since the start of the war and ordinary Poles have welcomed Ukrainian refugees. Today, however, this relationship is under pressure as Polish farmers are organising blockades on the Polish-Ukrainian border. Why is it taking so long to resolve this issue?
Answer: Because this is indeed a very serious problem, and it will remain a problem in the future. I want to stress that it was Brussels that decided to lift restrictions on food imports from Ukraine to the EU. Unfortunately, this has consequences outside Ukraine, including in Poland.
We are a predominantly agricultural country, and suddenly our market is flooded with gigantic quantities of agricultural produce from Ukraine, which, as is well known, is a world power when it comes to agriculture. Because of its excellent, extremely fertile black soil, Ukraine is the world’s breadbasket, and a large part of the world has benefited from this.
But this is really a problem for our farmers, because food from Ukraine is cheaper and it is destroying local markets. Our market is much smaller, we are half the size of Ukraine. […] I would like to draw particular attention to industrial agriculture, which is not really run by Ukrainians, it is run by big companies from Western Europe, from the USA. If we look today at the owners of most of the land, they are not Ukrainian companies.
This is a paradoxical situation, and no wonder that farmers are defending themselves, because they have invested in their farms in Poland […] and cheap agricultural produce coming from Ukraine is dramatically destructive to them.

Iraq passes bill criminalizing same-sex relations with prison time
April 27, 2024 11:14 PM
By Agence France-Presse
BAGHDAD —
Iraq’s parliament passed a bill on Saturday criminalizing same-sex relations, making them punishable by up to 15 years in prison, a move rights groups condemned as an “attack on human rights.”
Transgender people would be sentenced to three years in jail under the amendments to a 1988 anti-prostitution law, which were adopted during a session attended by 170 out of 329 lawmakers.
A previous draft had proposed capital punishment for same-sex relations, which campaigners had called a dangerous escalation.

Canada introduces blood-curdling new ‘thought police’ law that would make even Stalin blush
Canada has fallen. It’s become the North Korea of the West, and it’s getting worse every single day. This new bill they’ve introduced is the cherry on their tyrannical sundae. It’s called the Online Harms Bill C-63, and it would make even Stalin blush. As a matter of fact, tyrannical dictator Kim Jong-Un would look at this bill and feel an instant rush of communist inadequacy. With this new bill, Justin Trudeau is fueling those online rumors that his real father is actually communist dirtbag Fidel Castro.
The Canadian law proposal is outright mad. It is retroactive, which goes against all our Western legal tradition, according to which you can be punished only if you infringed a law that was valid at the time when you committed a crime: “And it isn’t just stuff you’ve posted after the new law comes into force you can get into trouble for – oh, no – but anything you’ve posted, ever, dating back to the dawn of the internet. In other words, it’s a gold-embossed invitation to offence archaeologists to do their worst, with the prospect of a $20,000 reward if they hit paydirt. The only way to protect yourself is to go through all your social media accounts and painstakingly delete anything remotely controversial you’ve ever said.”
And there is worse!
“Although, that won’t protect you from another clause in the bill – and this is where it trips over into as yet unimagined dystopian territory. If the courts believe you are likely to commit a ‘hate crime’ or disseminate ‘hate propaganda’ (not defined), you can be placed under house arrest and your ability to communicate with others restricted. That is, a court can force you to wear an ankle bracelet, prevent you using any of your communication devices and then instruct you not to leave the house. If the court believes there’s a risk you may get drunk or high and start tweeting under the influence – although how is unclear, given you can’t use your phone or a PC – it can order you to submit regular urine samples to the authorities. Anyone who refuses to comply with these diktats can be sent to prison.”

Today ‘thousands protest violence against women’.
Isn’t allowing large strong males to compete in women’s sports essential approved violence against women? Wasn’t the battle for women’s sport about doing the exact reverse? Transgenderism is allowing men to beat up women legally. It is violence against women. What’s the point of women’s sport if aggressive and often much larger males can take over and dominate women and women’s sports?
Male swimmer Lia Thomas is 6’6″ with a man’s physique, wide shoulders and endurance and genitalia and he can beat 99% of swimmers. But he cannot win in top men’s competition, so he competes against women. This is endorsed violence, mental and physical. And he revels in it, parading naked around the women’s locker room and openly enjoying his dominance against helpless women. Indulging violent, aggressive and sometimes sadistic men in women’s sport is utterly wrong at every level. It is not liberalism. It is unthinking encouragement of the worst tendencies of dominant aggressive men. And they are laughing at the idiocy.
130
And I wonder how many of those attending these rallies agree with allowing men to compete as women? This is liberalism gone mad.
If you can’t beat them. Join them and then you can beat them. What about the mental health of the female athletes who have worked so far? All for the sake of a very few people who cannot win in their own competition.

The Biden EPA’s Plan to Ration Electricity
Opinion by The WSJ Editorial Board
The Biden Administration’s regulations are coming so fast and furious that it’s hard even to keep track, but we’re trying.
On Thursday the Environmental Protection Agency proposed its latest doozy—rules that will effectively force coal plants to shut down while banning new natural-gas plants.
“With the announcement today, the power sector can make planning decisions with a full array of information,” EPA’s press release declares. Translation: Get moving with the green-energy transition because we’re determined to eliminate fossil-fuel power.
Barack Obama’s regulation spurred a wave of coal plant closures. Now President Biden is trying to finish the job by tightening mercury, wastewater and ash disposal standards. EPA is also replacing the Obama Clean Power Plan that the Supreme Court struck down with a rule requiring that coal plants and new gas-fired plants adopt costly and unproven carbon-capture technology by 2032.
Section 111 of the Clean Air Act says the EPA can regulate pollutants from stationary sources through the “best system of emission reduction” that is “adequately demonstrated.” Carbon capture is neither the best nor adequately demonstrated. As of last year, only one commercial-scale coal plant in the world used carbon capture, and no gas-fired plants did.
EPA says Inflation Reduction Act tax credits and funding in the 2021 infrastructure bill will “incentivize and facilitate the deployment” of carbon capture. But subsidies would have to be two to three times larger to make the technology cost-effective at a coal plant. Carbon capture reduces a plant’s efficiency, which also raises costs.
Because carbon capture uses 20% to 25% of the electricity generated by a power plant, less will be available to the grid. That means more generators will be needed to provide the same amount of power. But new gas-fired plants won’t be built because the technology will make them uneconomic.
Talk about a catch-22.
By the way, EPA plans to unveil soon another rule to reduce CO2 emissions from existing gas-fired plants, so some of them may also have to shut down.
Meantime, China has added about 200 gigawatts of coal power over the last five years—about as much as the entire U.S. coal fleet.
The Biden fossil-fuel onslaught will have no effect on global temperatures.
But it will raise electricity prices no matter what EPA says.
50
Carbon capture technology? It’s utterly pointless. More just comes out of the ocean as CO2 levels are maintained strictly from pole to pole. The myth that humans control CO2 is against all known facts.
Apart from a tiny 0.2% annual move, CO2 is kept perfectly constant.
Even if only 2% of people live in the bottom third of the planet, within 1% it is the same as the latitude of China, USA and Europe.
How is that possible if it is not under continuous equilibrium with the oceans?
Consider this..
Fossil fuel CO2 each year is now a record 5% of atmospheric CO2. But atmospheric CO2 only goes up a tiny and steady steady 0.2% a year. That tells you 96% of CO2 emissions go into the ocean each year. 96% is already ‘captured’.
NASA reported two Brazilian rainforests grew between 1988 and 2014. Trillions of tons of CO2 captured. No change in CO2.
Carbon capture is nuts. Carbon farming credits. Growing trees. Sequestration. All non science.
80
Even better. Use all that gas to create the power to capture the CO2 as gas. You know it makes sense. At least that’s feasible. And just as patently pointless.
40
Henry’s law.
40
Exactly.
But on steroids as the rate of exchange goes as the fourth power of wind speed. And waves form. And droplets, vastly increasing surface area. All far beyond the laboratory formula.
But the evaporation and absorption kinematics are the same. Pressure, temperature, concentration. And a strange thing that because CO2 at over 2 atmospheres (20 metres) becomes a liquid, the carrying capacity of the ocean increases dramatically so the idea that the ocean is full is just silly. CO2 is another liquid in a mixture.

Killer Patents & Secret Science Vol. 1 | Free Energy & Anti-Gravity Cover-Ups
For decades, we’ve heard about the catastrophic effects of fossil fuel pollution. For just as long, I’ve been hearing that global warming is a myth.
The two sides are constantly at each other’s throats. But it’s a fight that’s completely unnecessary.
The technology to create unlimited, clean, free energy has existed for over a hundred years.
Dozens, perhaps hundreds, of inventors have created machines that pull energy out of thin air. Machines that could defy gravity, levitate, and fly. Machines that bend the fabric of spacetime itself.
These machines sound – not just like science fiction – they sound like magic.
So, where are these magical devices? Well, when the inventors patented and publicized their technology, they performed another magic trick: they disappeared.

After receiving a financial payment from the company however, the Ngai Tahu sub-tribe changed its mind and publicly supported the scheme. Meridian declined to say how much they paid the iwi, but confirmed it was “to offset the impact of the project on the mauri [life force] of the river.”
Fast forward to November 2023, and Meridian, along with Genesis Energy, is reported to have spent “more than $180 million to smooth the path of re-consenting their Waitaki hydro scheme. This includes payments to three Ngai Tahu hapu, the Department of Conservation and others in exchange for supporting the application.” DOC has confirmed it received $2.3 million, so it appears the lion’s share of $180 million has gone into Ngai Tahu’s coffers to satisfy their ‘concerns’.
But hundreds of millions of dollars in cultural gratuities is clearly not enough for Ngai Tahu. They now want control of the Waitaki River itself…”
