I can see free speech platforms like X/Twitter being banned in Australia or being rendered inaccessible by their owners due to heavy censorship fines. This has already happened in Brazil with X.

Bukele has an 85% approval rating in El Salvador. In his first term of office, the homicide rate fell from 38 per 100,000 to 2.4. Less than half of what USA records and on par with Canada. Australia and UK are around 1 per 100.000. Japan is around 0.25 per 100,000.

I went to buy some last night.
I asked a young service droid in Coles where it was and he didn’t know what it was but then referred me to the aisle that had flour…
I then asked someone else and they sent me to the baby section.
There I found powder but the Johnson & Johnson product is no longer talc but made from corn starch. I then discovered that J&J no longer make talcum powder.
I do recall some time ago that there was a scare with asbestos contamination of some talc products but surely that is an issue of quality control of the feedstock rock?
I did find you can buy talc products at Chemist Warehouse but expensive and boutique in nature.

The talc used by J&J in the USA contained UP t0 1% asbestos. Quite which grade (out of about 32, of which about 3 were know to possibly cause cancer) I don’t know.

Now they’re in kontrol™️ of not only (mis)informing the population of what possibly could maybe might happen tomorrow – and in the year 2100 – they possess over 100 years’ worth of public domain data which they now charge for, if at all they release it. It is a preliminary feasibility licence. It takes 10 years to get approval for an onshore wind farm and bring it into production. I estimate 15 years for an offshore wind farm in Australia. Portland will be out of business by then.
It won’t happen. And how can a wind farm power a smelter. They need steady power supply. It is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Noon today, ad rooftops only supplied 27% of the NEM demand. Earlier in the week it as over 40%. At night they produce nothing. Wind is even worse, it can go missing entirely for two weeks. There is no way that an aluminium smelter can be powered from the wind. If it ever gets past feasibility, everyone else will pay like everyone else already pays fort Casnberra’s so-called 100% “renewable”. Smoke and mirrors.
