Last day to vote…

By Jo Nova

In the spirit of this strange moment, as Mark Steyn says:

But in Botswana everyone voted on Wednesday, the last up-country results came in on Thursday, the ruling party conceded and the new guy was sworn in on Friday.

That’s a normal election in a normal country.

Meanwhile, back in the greatest country in the history of countries, in twenty-four hours we shall be embarking on the usual folderol offour-hour lines to vote, malfunctioning machines, burst water pipes, court injunctions to keep polls open or close them down (according to taste), pausing the count before it’s completed, and the GDP-boosting quadrennial spike in plywood sales as storekeepers in DC and elsewhere board up their windows.

Meanwhile, nobody does advertising better than Americans — the pageantry, power, persuasion and fun:

It’s not about the left versus the right, it’s the people against the corruption…

Our un-biased, investigative main-stream media is reporting the truth of course…

“Officials, voters bracing for possible violence after US election- Among plans for safe rooms, active shooter drills and Donald Trump’s increasingly violent rhetoric, Kamala Harris is asking people not to believe his tactics.”

“Bored and loose, Trump drops last shreds of discipline and lashes out”

“Australia will suffer if Trump wins the election”

..and they’re still pushing the George Brandis article-

“Trump dodged a bullet. Let’s hope the world does, too – and he loses”

Sydney Morning Herald, as far Left-wing as you can go!

What can you say about Brandis the Minister for bookcases. Like most politicians he is totally uninspiring and useless.

Owned by the same company that brings you the Nine news. Its all total and complete BS, lies by ommission and opinion reported as news fact.

What we need in this country is a diversification of ownership of media outlets and people on the boards of these companies to have the cajones to tell advertisors and the Governmant to pound sand if they try and have information relied on by the General Public suppressed.

“Sydney Morning Herald, as far Left-wing as you can go!”

That’s why it has the largest number of readers in Australia.

The Sydney Morning Herald has been named Australia’s most-read masthead after the latest Total News readership figures were released by Roy Morgan for ThinkNewsBrands. The masthead boasts a total cross-platform readership of 7.3 million readers across the country.

The Sydney Morning Herald’s weekly print edition recorded an average readership of 383,000 per issue, while the Saturday edition recorded 485,000 readers.

And this from the Melbourne Sun Herald website.

        * Total print and digital audience: 4.348m, Print Mon-Fri: 1.169m, Print Sat: 951,000, Print Sun: 835,000, Digital: 2.361m (Source: emma conducted by Ipsos mediaCT, 12 months ending November 2017 with Nielsen DRM November 2017)

The data seems old but the numbers are higher.

It would be nice to see the current numbers.

          And from August this year.

The latest Roy Morgan monthly figures, released on Monday, reinforce the Herald Sun’s position as the state’s most influential media brand and also Australia’s most-read daily newspaper.

The Herald Sun’s Monday-to-Friday print audience jumped by 1.1 per cent to 570,000 during the six months to June.

I’d say that 570,000 is bigger than 383,000. But then again, I’m not a mathematician.

In the Great Left Coast State of Washington, we have mostly been voting via mail for about 20 years. We watch news of other state’s residents standing in line and disturbing kerfuffles and wonder why.
The overall vote in the State will be for Democrats at about 55% to 40%.
There are interesting historical reasons the Seattle metropolitan area, home to almost two-thirds of the state’s population, is overwhelmingly Democratic. Wikipedia has a colorful map. In the eastern part, only the county with Washington State University in it went blue with thousands of Puget Sound folks voting in Pullman, Home of “The Cougars” and mascot Butch T. Cougar.

If I am voting in any election I try to vote at a polling booth.
      1. I know my vote went in the box.
      2. My name has been ticked off on the roll of registered voters
      3. I wrote my vote on the ballot and I know what it was.

Our recent council elections were all by mail, raising my concerns about polling fr..d.

Abuser in Chief for the Australian, Adam Creighton splashed across the front page banner.. “On trail of a Pure Genius or Absolute Fool”

His usual appalling backhander to Trump. Would he dare call Elon Musk or J.D.Vance or Robert Kennedy an absolute fool?

Why not Kamala Harris or Joe Biden?

Never bad word to say about clearly senile crook Biden or completely idiotic terminally ignorant Harris whose only qualification is being female?

His is the voice of the DC journalists cabal. 98.4% of DC voted for Hillary Clinton. And the CIA is hunting down the 1.6%. Most are claiming an honest mistake in voting.

Anyway, those guilty of voting for Trump will be deported to Puerto Rico which is apparently a floating garbage dump.

And if you look at Creighton’s idea of bizarre, apparently being shot is bizzare. It’s amazing how that has been flipped around to be Trump’s fault because the fascist convicted felon faked it.

Adam Creighton was one of the reasons that I cancelled my subscription with “The Australian”. No due diligence on anything related to DJT.

      Harris? Only qualification being female?

She had the upgrade a few years ago and is now black as well!

I did forget that not being white was now a real qualification in this non racist world. And I thought she was brown not black? Peter Ustinov was detained for putting his colour down as pink.

What I only recently realized is that the slightest trace of black ancestry qualifies you for the full raft of privileges.

That slightest trace was faked for her as well. There is a huge gap on her father’s side of the family. There is more evidence that where the blackness should be is in fact an Irish Jew.

Oy vey! You mean she’s related to Hussein Soetoro? Or is he Barry O’Bama – their stage names get soooo confusing.

Wokies here lose it when they’re informed Barry’s mum was a ‘white woman’ who worked for USAID (read Criminals Into Anything) whose paternal lineage was vaguely of Chosenite origin. So the mis/dis/mal he was Murrika’s first ‘black’ president is a crock of climate science proportions: so too if Harris ‘n’ Forward March are ‘selected’.

BTW where’s Joe? Anyone seen The President Of The USA lately?

Trump should win, but the Harris loony has the support of most of the MSM.
I hope Trump wins and sets Vance up for another win in 2028. Who knows?

The cheats are in place. Exactly which one is most potent will become clear shortly.

Whether it is sufficient to perfect the steal and whether it is the presidential, senate or house elections which are the big target remains to be seen.

And then it will have been blindingly obvious all along.

We have to celebrate the deliberately messy system forged from the disaster of the American Civil War.

But in Botswana everyone voted on Wednesday, the last up-country results came in on Thursday, the ruling party conceded and the new guy was sworn in on Friday.

That’s a normal election in a normal country.

We have just seen this ‘smooth’ transition in Queensland, the only problem is that Queensland switched from one branch of the Uni-party to another. The grass roots paradigm shift is not allowed in Australia as legislation and regulation makes it impossible for an alternative voice to be heard and to be protected.

In the USA from the blood and horror of cowardly Antifa and BLM and worse still the corruption and politicalization of the legal institutions we watched:

    Comes the Man!
    Comes the Litigation!
    Comes ‘We the people’
    Comes the ‘Paradigm Shift’

What is the point of voting when those candidates are pre-selected and beholden to those who gave them the nod? Ask Senator Gerald Rennick what happens if you attempt to raise an honest concern in favour of your constituency?

Yes, Crisafulli certainly doesn’t look like the new conservative messiah, does he? He cancelled that big pumped hydro project but then I read the Qld government are still considering smaller PH ones. What you would call a limited hangout. I’ll bet he’s a climate alarmist.

It’s going to be interesting to see what new tricks the DNC will employ this time around. In House of Cards ( US, Kevin Spacey version) the incumbent president lost the election to the young war hero Republican candidate. But they were able to enforce a no- result, due to a black ops operation which closed down all the mobile phone coverage in Washington DC. The argument was that this breakdown resulted in voters not accessing adequate information for them to vote.

What a mess . If Trump wins there will be riots and the result will be contested and if Harris wins there will be violence on a previously unseen scale as the silent majority will revolt. Nobody trusts the election process and whoever wins gets to deal with economic meltdown . Most of the political class in the USA belongs in a retirement home not in congress or the senate . Major flash point.

    130

    • #
      TdeF

Yes, but there was no violence in the Republicans march on Washington. No one was armed. The National Guard was ready and not called. Nancy Pelosi’s decision. The police opened the doors. Nancy Pelosi’s decision.

Then she charged the lot with interfering with the operation of Congress. Perhaps 1,000 people were charged and multi year jail sentences and the videos were hidden. All Pelosi. The woman who says voting for Make America Great Again is unpatriotic. Pelosi was promoted to the job by Billy Brown. The same man who put Kamala Harris in the senate.

However if the BLM/Democrats lose, we will see a repeat of Portland, Seattle and more. Huge damage which is described as ‘mostly peaceful’. Because Kamala, a Hindu black slave was not give her chance to rule America except four years as Vice President.

As Robert Kennedy says, the Democrats are no longer the party his family joined. They have been captured by the extreme left, China and billionaires.

And in the US, voting is not compulsory. For some reason you need to look to be winning to get the turnout, so the utterly fake Kamala is winning polls on election eve. It seems to be that if you are going to lose anyway, you do not bother to vote.

So as Trump says, Democrats face an enormous turnout deficit. But his worry then is people are lazy and do not vote if they are going to win easily. So as he says, Republicans MUST turn up to vote. They have this election to lose.

It must be hard to get this right.
If you say you are going to win easily, your voters do not turn up.
If you say you are going to lose, your voters do not turn up.
If you say you are going to win but it will be close, people turn up to help tip the scales.
And if you can get them to turn up, they vote for the House and the Senate as well, helping tip the scales in both houses.
So both sides need to say that it’s really really close.

        TdeF,
The silent majority are in serious trouble . Inflation , immigration , foreign policy and freedom of expression are all existential threats . This is why the “result” will have extreme consequences , even for republicans .

    End the war in Ukraine.
    End the war in Israel.
    Frack, frack, Frack.
    Open the XL pipeline.
    Pump, baby, pump
    Halve gas prices
Watch the effect on the economy as energy prices underpin all goods.
    Finish the Abraham Accords
    Cancel the Paris Agreement
get men out of women’s sport
decide who comes and under what conditions

and we should do the same in Australia. Cancel all the punitive hidden Carbon dioxide payments.
And halve energy costs. Remove the bans on nuclear, gas exploration, fracking, mining, use of coal, use of gas.
In Victoria it is now illegal to fix a gas stove or even pick up sticks for a fire.

There is just so much wrong, but it starts with a strong America.

I wish to thank the Communist States of New York, Illinois and California that have driven so many of your good, decent families out their respective states by the millions. These families have voted with their feet as Vladimir Lenin used to say to other states that now seem to want Mr. Trump.

You have made the difference in so many states that come tomorrow according to the Wall Street Journal you will have changed the election map.

Yes its behind a pay wall, but this has been a long time coming. It is also why our borders are wide open, but the Democrats have not registered enough of these people from China, the Congo and Haiti.

Be funny if Trump wins and this is the reason. I wish to thank Governors Kathy Hochul of New York, Gavin Newsome of California and Jay Pritzker of Illinois. Please continue to destroy your states, lose population and electoral votes while worshipping Karl Marx.
