Billionaire Bill Gates is calling for members of the general public to be censored by artificial intelligence (AI) if they question the official narratives regarding “vaccines.”
Gates, the Jeffrey Epstein-linked co-founder of Microsoft, made the call during a recent interview with CNBC.
…
Gates argues that those who urge people to avoid vaccines are “inciting violence.”
Therefore, he insists that “anti-vaxxers” are a “threat” to public health.
In response, Gates proposes a totalitarian approach, calling for speech “boundaries.”
He claims that AI-powered computer systems can weed out and eliminate “vaccine misinformation” in real time.
Merry Christmas from Devon to jo her family and all others contributing to this blog. It’s probably New yeas day now in Oz whereas Santa has only just landed here
I do remember having a great Summer holiday on the Devon Riviera in 1972 and swimming in the lovely blue sea. As I lived on the south east coast next to the Thames Estuary those waters were like the Med to me at the time. The North Sea being brown shite. Now living in Sunny Australia, it is all too easy and nice and a long way away from those cold dismal days.
Australia didn’t get the fake conservative Liberal initiated censorship bill so our traitors politicians and censors might get AI to do it for them, perhaps by forcing social media to run censorship AI bots. Most will comply except Elon Musk who believes in freedom of speech. And we might never know what’s being censored because it will be done at the server level.
More comprehensive censorship than we already have is definitely coming to Australia and most Western countries except America under TRUMP.
He claims that AI-powered computer systems can weed out and eliminate “vaccine misinformation” in real time.
Q. Would this “vaccine misinformation” include “safe and effective”?
There was so much mis/disinformation from all governments and the health bureaucracy during Covid that we should all say no to this idea.
It is another form of censorhip in sheeps clothing.
So why isn’t Billy boy and his family vaxxed then?
😎
Rob Braxman has a series of vids on AI pc integration.
It’s the future and yes, you’ll all be led along like sheep, because that’s the plan, and it’s working well.
Perhaps, then, we need to hold Gates down and administer all possible ‘vaccines’ in massive doses. If they are so ‘safe and effective’, he has nothing to worry about, does he?
I having a Green Christmas here in Texas. So far, less than 1 hour of -.5C temps. Even my tropical hibiscus (which are usually frozen by this time) are still green.
Note to all those Leftists who think science is about “consensus”.
I want to pause here and talk about this notion of consensus, and the rise of what has been called consensus science. I regard consensus science as an extremely pernicious development that ought to be stopped cold in its tracks. Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled. Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you’re being had.
Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus.
There is no such thing as consensus science. If it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it’s science, it isn’t consensus. Period.
One Hundred Authors Against Einstein was published in 1931. When asked to comment on this denunciation of relativity by so many scientists, Einstein replied that to defeat relativity one did not need the word of 100 scientists, just one fact.
NPR is National Public Radio in the United States, a far Left broadcaster roughly equivalent to Australia’s ABC and established by an act of the US Congress in 1967 but first aired in 1970. It is only partially taxpayer funded (4% of revenue), unlike ABC Australia which is entirely taxpayer funded. ABC Australia runs their material occasionally (like the program “All Things Considered”).
The current head of NPR who used to be head of Wikimedia Foundation doesn’t regard truth as important. See Tweet below.
No surprise there, of course. The Left’s interpretation of “truth” is based on post-modernism which denies the existence of objective truth. That’s why Leftists use expressions like “my truth” not “the truth”.
Former head of the Wikimedia foundation and current CEO of NPR, Katherine Maher: “The Wikipedians who write these articles aren’t focused on finding the truth. For our most tricky disagreements, seeking the truth isn’t the best place to start. Reverence for the truth might have become a bit of distraction that is preventing us from finding consensus and getting important things done.”
AND SEE ONE OF THE REPLIES
Let’s get this straight – the person running a major news organization thinks seeking truth isn’t ‘the best place to start?’ Maybe start a fiction department instead of pretending to be news?
“Reverence for the truth might have become a bit of a distraction” has to be the most honest admission of modern journalism’s problems I’ve ever heard. At least she’s openly admitting that truth takes a backseat to whatever “consensus” they’re pushing!
Wonder what other distracting principles we should abandon for the sake of “getting important things done?” Maybe accuracy? Facts? Reality?
AND ANOTHER RESPONSE
If you use Wikipedia to get your facts, you’re being spoon fed far left propaganda.
A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a ‘Siberian’ climate by 2020.

That was only a few years after the Guardian were ‘reporting’ that children in the UK wouldn’t know what snow was.
And a few years after ‘reporting’ that Antarctica would be the only inhabitant continent (by no less than the Chief Scientist of the UK).
Does The Guardian still run those Adds for Holidays in The Maldives? (the islands supposedly underwater by 2018).
I thought when I was in the UK in 1977 that The Guardian was the third worst paper there. It seemed to have gone downhill when I was also there in 2013.
Still they’ve survived and are still unhappy. They love gloomy things and want to scare child-like minds.
For all Readers and Contributors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
It’s remarkable how short the Sheeple’s memories are.
Climate catastrophists take advantage of that knowing that their failed predictions will be forgotten.
Orwell knew how short people’s memories would be in a dumbed-down dictatorship.
It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be REDUCED to twenty grammes a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.
Aussie version of the doomsdayers. “We’ve got 5 years to save world “ says Australia’s chief scientist Professor Penny Sackett. (December 4, 2009)
“The planet has just five years to avoid disastrous global warming”, says the Federal Government’s chief scientist. Prof Penny Sackett yesterday urged all Australians to reduce their carbon footprint. “Australians- among the world’s biggest producers of carbon dioxide-were “ better placed than others to do something about it”, she said. “Australians can make an enormous contribution, so why would we not rise to this challenge and this opportunity” she told a business conference in Melbourne. (Herald Sun 4/12/09). Which means this year is the 10th anniversary since supposedly the world ended? It’s amazing we’re all still here. Merry Xmas to all the survivors of man made climate change.
Prof Penny Sackett, an American born astronomer, she would know everything about the blue planet including ice ages etc.
She must be dumber than our own homegrown wombat worrier Perfesser Flannel.
“A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a ‘Siberian’ climate by 2020. ”
Love it! Global cooling will make the seas rise.. What happened to that particular piece of wisdom I wonder?
Here’s one of the more bizarre wind harvesting schemes.
It’s even more impractical and expensive and would require more subsidies than windmills.
Kites are flown and as they are captured by the wind, the rope attached to the kite unwinds a spool which generates power as it unwinds. The kites fly up to 800m and then the rope is rewound, a process which supposedly requires less energy than generated during the release phase. Then it’s rinse and repeat.
Windmills are ugly enough. Imagine having thousands of kites flying all tethered by ropes and the bird life and aviation hazard that would create plus the amount of land which would have to be cleared under the kites.
On top of that, anything that blows in the wind requires huge amounts of maintenance due to wear and tear, e.g. fraying of the fabric and ropes etc..
The scheme is sufficiently bizarre and stupid to be implemented in Australia.
I see hotrocks are back on the agenda, new shale drilling technology will make all the difference, they still haven’t worked out that the hot rocks are in the middle of the outback , far from any high voltage lines.
Australia has considerable geothermal energy potential, however the electricity produced is not financially viable in Australia due to three challenges:
flowing it: producing hot fluid from the geothermal reservoirs at a high rate
financing it: overcoming the significant up-front capital costs associated with enhanced geothermal system technologies and the cost of transmitting electricity from remote locations.
So they basically admit it isn’t viable. But then you go to:
Just astounding! $2,200,000,000 is a lot of money for a Govt to throw away on things they should never have been financing in the first place.
“The Reservoir Quality in Sedimentary Geothermal Resources project analysed the only two geothermal wells drilled in Hot Sedimentary Aquifer reservoirs in Australia to evaluate why the flow of fluid was significantly less than expected.” $3,500,000.
Why wasn’t that done by a private company that was interested enough to want the results? Is this all a case of the Norwegian wind turbine auctions again? The Govt throws money into places private enterprise knows is a straight loss?
Last night I attended a church service featuring a Nativity play by primary school children (dressed up as angels, shepherds, wise men, animals, with Mary, Joseph and a baby).
Today is Christmas dinner with Family,
Last week Tucker Carlson interviewed Jeffrey Sachs on his TV channel. Mr. Sachs has worked as an economist, educator and international adviser for many years. His “insider” knowledge of US government and international organizations may be unparalleled.”
“Here’s the thing: government isn’t inherently evil. Most of the time, it’s just wrong—wrong in its priorities, wrong in its assumptions, wrong in its execution. But when it refuses to fix what it’s broken? That’s when wrong turns into evil. That’s what these farmers are up against: a system that knows it’s failed but doesn’t have the guts to make it right.”
Our Woolworths tried that one on here in Australia two years ago, with no product to mention Christmas. Only Happy Holidays to be used in in store decorations, and merchandise. At one store the manager approached a Salvation Army collector at the door and demanded, he stop the Carols playing softly by the collection table.
New World Order Gestapo.
Merry Christmas to everyone and a happy New Year and hopefully we’ll get rid of the Labor, Greens and Teals loonies in 2025.
Then we’ll have to work on the Coalition until they wake up. But L, Gs and Ts have to be voted out first before we start to wind back their toxic trillion $ lunacy.
FIREWORKS! Trump Responds to Biden’s Decision to Commute Sentences of 37 Prisoners on Federal Death Row – Including Child Rapists and Killers
This is after Biden commuted the sentences of 1,500 people and pardoned 39 others – the biggest single-day act of clemency in history, the AP reported.
Biden also pardoned his son, Hunter, who was convicted of felony gun crimes after he promised he would respect the jury’s verdic
Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents states that Biden’s “diminished faculties” and “poor memory” would make it difficult for a jury to convict him of willfully retaining and disclosing classified materials.
Hur notes that Biden’s memory was “significantly limited” during interviews, and he forgot important details such as when he served as Vice President and when his son Beau died.
The report concludes that Biden’s age and memory issues would lead jurors to view him as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” making it unlikely to secure a conviction.
This assessment implies that Biden’s advanced age and cognitive limitations would affect his ability to participate in a criminal trial, potentially rendering him unable to face court proceedings. However, it’s essential to note that this conclusion is based on the Special Counsel’s report and may be subject to interpretation and debate.
Multiple reports from reputable sources, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, suggest that President Joe Biden’s mental decline began shortly after taking office in 2021. The reports indicate that his aides and staff worked to conceal his diminishing mental and physical abilities, including:
If President Biden is Mentally Incompetent, how can the Pardons he has issued be Legal?
Remember when Robert Hur took pity on President Biden and caught hell for it?
For anyone who’s forgotten, Mr. Hur was the special counsel tapped by Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate Mr. Biden’s pre-presidential handling of classified documents, some of which had been stored in the garage and basement of the president’s Wilmington, Del., home.
Following an inquiry that included more than five hours of interviews with Mr. Biden over two days, Mr. Hur released a 345-page report of his investigation in February.
It concluded that Mr. Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.”
Nevertheless, Mr. Hur determined that “no criminal charges are warranted.” Why? In part because a jury would be unlikely to convict “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” and “diminished faculties in advancing age.”
Democrats and their media pals were relieved that Mr. Biden wouldn’t face charges, but they bristled at Mr. Hur’s descriptions of the president’s declining mental state.
Vice President Kamala Harris said the revelations were “politically motivated,” and Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania called them a “big nothing burger.” The press should know better than to blame the messenger, but that didn’t stop Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus from accusing Mr. Hur of overstepping his bounds—“Excuse me. Is Hur a lawyer or a geriatrician?
“He’s an addled, demented old man,” Senator Tom Cotton declared about President Joe Biden on my program Monday, Christmas Eve eve.
The senator is right.
It is not harsh or cruel to make such a statement, especially because its predicate was the announcement Monday morning that President Biden commuted the death sentences of 37 of 40 killers on death row in federal prison.
Biden’s handlers were apparently indifferent to the feelings of the survivors of the murderers who will get the news about the killers of their loved ones during Christmas week, so why should anyone be concerned about the feelings of the president’s family and friends?
Bravo Senator Cotton for stating the awful truth clearly and concisely.
Joe Biden is addled and infirm. He isn’t making coherent decisions.
He’s doing what he’s told to do. He’s being managed. By whom we don’t know.
This disgusting action by the handlers of the president will not be defended by the president because the president doesn’t take questions from the White House press corps anymore—because he can’t.
After the Wall Street Journal’s detailed story on the president’s mental incapacity last week, the decision by the unnamed politburo actually running the country to issue these commutations is hard to understand as anything other than a giant [expletive deleted] to the rest of the country.
Biden ought not to be allowed to drive himself or babysit a grandchild much less be the most powerful actor on the planet. He’s not competent. We all know it. The emperor had no clothes…for four years!
But the commutation story is putting a line underneath and an exclamation point at the end of the Journal’s expose.
Somebody—we actually don’t know who is running the office of the president—decided to have the president pretend to consider these 37 cases and put his signature or the auto pen on the commutations of the 37 death sentences.
It is genuinely difficult to imagine how accountability for this massive cover-up and abuse of power follows.
But given what we know about Biden’s lack of mental faculties, who really made the commutations?
And because Biden isn’t all there, are they even legitimate?
Republican Senator Tom Cotton is asking some questions.
“Contracts, wills, and other legal actions are null and void if a party is mentally incompetent, as Joe Biden obviously is. The Congress and the Trump Department of Justice should investigate whether these pardons for depraved murderers are binding,” Cotton posted on X.
“Who is making these decisions and signing for ‘Joe Biden’?”
Ozzie,
All politicians are puppets . Its a popularity contest run by the media for the deep state. They create the narrative , and it no longer has to resemble reality . To get an accurate picture of what’s behind the curtain you have to be on the other side of it . Merry Christmas to all .
Is it possible Hur’s report backed up by whistleblower testimony can be used to “prove” Biden’s incapacity to make decisions thus invalidating his pardons?
This group of commutations for murderers was not well received and the MSM, which sets community standards, may give the courts approval to overturn them.
I know nothing about US law but nor does cable news. They still tell the judges “what the community expects”.
“For instance: can the CDC and other agencies of public health continue to lie about disastrous Covid-19 vaccines, about the deaths and disabilities they have caused in millions of people? Under “Joe Biden,” there was no other way for the likes of Rochelle Walensky and Mandy Cohen except to lie. And get this: women were chosen to front for the CDC because you’re not supposed to believe that “Mommy” would lie to you, especially in matters of life and death. There was no other way because the crime was so great and they were all in it so deep — not just Rochelle and Mandy but the hundreds of high-ranking bureaucrats in CDC, FDA, and NIH who went along with all this.”
“Two recent studies set fire to climate alarmists’ credibility, providing yet more data to show that “global warming” isn’t about to destroy the planet and politicians’ “solutions” are actually pointless and ineffective.”
Jo’s Christmas Card
I have been taking a close look at Jo’s Christmas card. There are some interesting things to observe there.
Jo made it herself.
Santa is bring us a fleet of coal fired power stations for Christmas!
The land is green and pleasant with grazing animals and cumulus clouds in an unpolluted sky, but there are some dystopian elements;
The reindeers on the left have two a•• ends. They are towing a broken down electric bus.
One animal is stuck in the fence.
The animal on the right has mutated head.
Probably more that I have missed.
The power lines on the left seem to be down where they hit the trees.
The truck’s front tyres are damaged.
There appears to be structural damage to the framework of the coal power station.
And who is the person standing at the front? Jo herself?
A really great image though.

Wokepedia keeps asking for money but wastes $50 million of $177 million, 28%, on DEI. No wonder they’re in financial trouble.
The Left destroy everything good they infiltrate.

I still use Wikipedia quite a lot, partly because it is almost always the first site that comes up on Google! Why is that?
It can be a useful source as long as the subject is neither political nor contentious. I used to contribute to their fund raising, considering that I was deriving some value from them, but that was a long time ago.
However let’s see what they say about JoNova;
She is prominent for promoting climate change denial. ..
She self-published[8] the book The Skeptics Handbook, which rejects the scientific consensus on climate change and promotes various falsehoods about climate change.[11]
A lot of the entry is factual but it is supercharged with emotive misinformation.
Take the two quotes above;
Firstly Jo does not deny Climate Change as far as I am aware,
Secondly her book ‘The Skeptics Handbook’ does not promote falsehoods about Climate Change.
They refuse to correct this misinformation. Consequently they will get nothing from me!
I think that no matter what one’s beliefs, it’s good such a day as today is set aside because without it people like former Victorian dictator Dan Andrews of Vicdanistan or former PM’s Turnbull, Whitlam or others would declare a day of worship of themselves after they declared themselves to be gods. It’s much like Julius Caesar did in 45BCE after he declared himself a god and had a statue of himself inscribed with Deo Invicto (to the unconquered god) and declared himself dictator for life. It didn’t end well for him one year later…
BBC UK weatherman was obviously disappointed; provisionally, only Northern Ireland posted a record warm Christmas Eve, ~15C, but it’s still below the NI whole of December record.
Here’s an interesting comment I saw on Quora Digest. It doesn’t let you post a link.
Is it true that there is not a single scientific paper that has proven that carbon dioxide emission is causing climate change? Yes, it is true. Not. One. Paper.
Guess what though? There’s also not a single paper that proves lead is poisonous. There’s also not a single piece of paper that proves you (the OP) are Christopher Carmody . “Proof” is not a word that you will hear from scientists very often. Don’t get worked up over it. Just because there isn’t “PROOF” doesn’t mean it is wrong.
But what you will find is that there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of papers that continue to support the hypothesis that CO2 in our atmosphere is a leading contributor to climate change.
By the way, this is nothing new. We have known for decades that CO2 in the atmosphere causes warming.
Note the important bit:
But what you will find is that there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of papers that continue to support the hypothesis that CO2 in our atmosphere is a leading contributor to climate change.
In other words, they are supporting “science by consensus”, not actual science.
Montana High Court rules in favour of 16 teenagers to hold the State responsible for the effects of climate change on their lives.
Crazy is as crazy does!

The Left have invented a new word. According to Goolag:
AI Overview
Petro-masculinity is a term used to describe the hypermasculine support for fossil fuels in authoritarian movements. It can be seen when agents of hegemonic masculinity feel threatened and exaggerate their traditional masculinity.
I guess it beats being an energy-phobic beta male soy boy…
I am a fool 🤪. I have allowed myself to be misled.
I just watched a video clip in which the presenter spoke of globalists’ concerns (ie, narrative) that ‘AI will replace democracy’ and should therefore be ‘regulated’. Having worked as a programmer for much of my working life, I just have a little chuckle to myself when I read all of the claims being made of AI. The simple fact is that if we define AI as ‘artificial human-like intelligence’ there is, to put it bluntly, no such thing, and nor is there likely to be during this century and possibly even the next. But if we define AI as a nifty bit of programming that simply builds on existing search engines and does exactly what a human programs it to do, then, yes, there is such a thing as AI but it is really no big deal at all — just a collection of amusing images and videos and search engine results.
But here’s where I made a mistake. I assumed that the hype around AI was driven by some of the usual factors, such as:
– people hyping up a start-up company so that they could rake in a few million from the IPO;
– people looking for grant money;
– empire building bureaucrats;
– people at dinner parties wanting to impress others with their apparent ‘expert knowledge’ … to name just a few.
I therefore dismissed the whole AI ‘thing’ as amusing but harmless, but I failed to notice this: “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.”
― H.L. Mencken, In Defense of Women
I am guilty in a bit of coding myself, well – if Minsk or PDP11 maybe called computers and FORTRAN – a language.
But after so many conversations with young professionals I am not a skerrick clearer what was the subject of conversation.
It all smells of religion, one entity posses soul while other – does not.
“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.”
The Pandemic experience is the ultimate epoch changing example.
I believe this statement to be the fundamental reason for the existence of this blog.
Certainly the reason that I, Honk, choose to express my insightful insights. (sarc)
Many of us, like RFK Jr. and Elon Musk, were chased out of the Progressive (now Regressive) political orbit and ultimately into the loving embrace of Donald J. Trump 45/47.
It is the reason that ‘Climate Change is a political debate, not a science debate.
We feel around blindly in the strategically deployed smoke screen looking for ‘science’.
We are herded into discussing ‘science’ by the political SOBs because being too direct about the real political nature of the issue draws withering social status destructed fire.
The rise of Trump and the fiasco of Pandemic ‘public health’ may be turning this around.
Only thing is, the authoritarians no longer have disguise their true intent, and may be freed to deploy their most totalitarian destructive tactics.
Previous history would cast doubt that the FBI and the CIA will on Jan. 20 just obediently salute the new CEO.
If Tulsi Gabbard makes it to DNI, she’ll be walking into a den of snakes.
BTW, Merry Christmas to all.

Just curious …
considering all the UAP hoopala, if the first meesage we translate from an exo-Earth source is “Merry Christmas” …
will they tell us?
Funny, I’m in mod.
Ironic … it is zero dark thirty Christmas Day in my sphere coordinates.
The main task of the day … I must attend a dinner party.
Where I am bracing to smile and ‘moderate’ myself.
Ugh.
Last year at this event, the first person I met declared her name followed by “and I am a socialist”.
I live in the America that just elected Trump.
But unfortunately I am trapped behind the Blue Curtain.
Too old and impoverished (as result of Lockdown) to escape.
This moron is now burying trees to ‘reduce emissions’
IF we travelled back in time to say the 1800s and told people that in the year 2024 humans would be cutting down 70 million acres of trees, turning them into solid blocks and burying them in order to “save the planet”, they would be incredulous.
But that is exactly what Bill Gates has been doing this year through his Breakthrough Energy organisation and its business arm Graphyte. Some of the biggest names in business have joined him in this moronic scheme – Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Alibaba’s Jack Ma, Virgin Group’s Richard Branson, and hedge fund manager Ray Dalio.
…
This is the same Gates who pushed and personally profited from hundreds of millions of doses of a toxic gene-altering injections at the behest of a collection of corporate elites who “game planned” a global pandemic at the notorious Event 201 in October 2019, just a couple of months before it happened.
Gates and those who are accomplices in his mad schemes are now an existential threat to humanity.
David,
Similar to Clone research which requires genetic replication without differentiation . Theoretically parthenotes would be clones of the mothers (?).
The second shot, or what do vaccinators and sewer rats have in common?
It is impossible to design a safe vaccine, because it is impossible to predict anaphylactic reactions. Each individual is unique, a product of heredity and interactions with environment. Introduction of foreign, non-self proteins is an assault on this natural equilibrium and can only result in a disaster.
Russian MoD Reveals U.S. African Biolab Complex, Sponsored by the Gates and Clinton Foundations
In summary, the Biopharmaceutical Complex operates a large network of biolabs in Africa, where dangerous gain-of-function experiments are performed and novel drugs/injections are developed/tested. There must be an immediate and complete global moratorium on gain-of-function research, along with comprehensive investigations into the growing number of U.S. and international biolabs—including their funders—that may be conducting bioweapon research, to prevent another man-made pandemic
Another “natural” mystery outbreak in S.Africa, absolutely not due to experiments!
Bioweapons are more profitable than vaccines.
One day they’ll lose control.
Happy Christmas to all of you who are all part of Joanne’s ‘Community’.
All of you, this is a day to forget it all for a day and be with family.
I’m here in Rockhampton with our daughter and her family, already having a wonderful day.
I, umm, made a Boiled Fruit Cake, first attempt at baking a cake since my wonderful Barbara passed.
I marinated 1.4 Kilos of ten different types of dried fruits in some Rum for four days, boiled it all up, and cooled it, and then added all the extras, and cooked it up for three and a half hours, then covered it in foil, and this image is the finished product the next morning. I was overjoyed that it turned out perfectly, and tasted out of this World. The finished cake weighed in at 3.1 Kilos, so 6.8 Pounds. I gave half of it to my Son, and when I arrived here in Rockhampton, I made another one for all of us here. Everyone just loves it, so I guess I got it right. I, umm, used one litre of rum, for the initial soaking and then topping up over the next three days, and the last of it liberally brush the top of the cake. I found it amazing how the fruit just soaked up virtually all of the Rum. I could have bought one for a lot cheaper than this, but, hey, I’m having so much fun, cooking, well, anything really.
Huh, I was amazed that Flour had a use by date, as the Plain Flour was almost a year out of date, so lucky I checked, and got some new Flour, Barbara being the last to use that Flour, same for the Self Raising Flour as well.
Again, today’s a day for family, so best wishes to all of you.
What a fabulous looking cake. I think you’ve found your job for many Christmases to come. It’ll be your family’s new tradition. Happy Christmas Chef Tony. ToM
The latest kerfuffle in American politics revolves around Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX), apparently worse than Dementia Joe, but has had a staff of 25 that has hidden her status.
Does Banana Republic ring a bell? 😩
Sitting here ripping some CDs for a road trip up to my parents. Thinking about everyone here and hope we are all enjoying a very merry Christmas with our loved ones. I am drawn to reflect on my Christmas so far. I just survived what could have been a horrific MVA. The instigator survived without a scratch as did I. He is no longer alive. He went home got drunk and finished his terrible act. I cannot dwell on the why. All I can see is the destruction this act must be doing to a family I do not know. I know what it did to me and mine and my connection was only a couple of seconds or less of fast reaction to avoid the inevitable. The euphoria of learning this guy also survived without a scratch and then to learn of his death was devastating!
I pray…literally…everyone here is enjoying the true meaning of this Holy day. New life, renewal, redemption, love and being loved. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. For a small time, let us forget the world and reduce it in size to what really matters. We are kin, we are connected, and we belong.
It is a time of Joy for most but sadness for others. I have just had a “festive” lunch with Mrs H in her home. She has been unable to speak for years now and doesn’t recognise me. Not eating, just feeding her, surrounded by all the other vegetables who were once warm, loving people does give one pause.

Honda and Nissan to merge, Honda will take the lead
Beleaguered automaker Nissan is going to throw its lot in with Honda. The two Japanese OEMs want to merge by 2026, creating the world’s third-largest car company in the process. In fact, earlier this year the two signed memorandums of understanding to create a strategic partnership focused on software and electrification. Now, the changing business environment calls for deeper integration, they say.

Thanks Tonyb. All the best from Sunny Australia.

Am I missing something here – perhaps someone with American Legal Knowledge can help here?
Biden Mental Competence Report
Multiple reports from reputable sources, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, suggest that President Joe Biden’s mental decline began shortly after taking office in 2021. The reports indicate that his aides and staff worked to conceal his diminishing mental and physical abilities, including:
If President Biden is Mentally Incompetent, how can the Pardons he has issued be Legal?
200
Biden’s Legacy Will Be His Mental Decline
When does partisan allegiance become elder abuse?

Morning Glory: President Biden’s politburo strikes again
Someone or a group decided to commute 37 out of 40 death sentences in the federal penal system, but we really don’t know who. And too many in the White House press corps don’t care.
By Hugh Hewitt Fox News

Are Biden’s Latest Pardons Legit?
Katie Pavlich December 24, 2024
As one of his last acts as the occupant of the Oval Office, President Joe Biden commuted the death sentences of 37 federal inmates Monday, including child murderers, r@pists and cop killers. The move caused bipartisan outrage and a number of victim family members are speaking out.

All politicians are puppets . Its a popularity contest run by the media for the deep state. They create the narrative , and it no longer has to resemble reality . To get an accurate picture of what’s behind the curtain you have to be on the other side of it . Merry Christmas to all .
50
Is it possible Hur’s report backed up by whistleblower testimony can be used to “prove” Biden’s incapacity to make decisions thus invalidating his pardons?
This group of commutations for murderers was not well received and the MSM, which sets community standards, may give the courts approval to overturn them.
I know nothing about US law but nor does cable news. They still tell the judges “what the community expects”.

Jo’s Christmas Card
I have been taking a close look at Jo’s Christmas card. There are some interesting things to observe there.
Jo made it herself.
Santa is bring us a fleet of coal fired power stations for Christmas!
The land is green and pleasant with grazing animals and cumulus clouds in an unpolluted sky, but there are some dystopian elements;
The reindeers on the left have two a•• ends. They are towing a broken down electric bus.
One animal is stuck in the fence.
The animal on the right has mutated head.
Probably more that I have missed.
90
The power lines on the left seem to be down where they hit the trees.
The truck’s front tyres are damaged.
There appears to be structural damage to the framework of the coal power station.
And who is the person standing at the front? Jo herself?
A really great image though.

The symptoms suggest it was generated by AI. (???)

I still use Wikipedia quite a lot, partly because it is almost always the first site that comes up on Google! Why is that?
It can be a useful source as long as the subject is neither political nor contentious. I used to contribute to their fund raising, considering that I was deriving some value from them, but that was a long time ago.
However let’s see what they say about JoNova;
A lot of the entry is factual but it is supercharged with emotive misinformation.
Take the two quotes above;

– people hyping up a start-up company so that they could rake in a few million from the IPO;
– people looking for grant money;
– empire building bureaucrats;
– people at dinner parties wanting to impress others with their apparent ‘expert knowledge’ … to name just a few.
I therefore dismissed the whole AI ‘thing’ as amusing but harmless, but I failed to notice this:
“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.”

Something screwy is going on with Ventusky.
Compare precipitation map of 7a.m. on Jan 8 with 1 p.m. on Jan 8.
Absolutely impossible , I think.

Human parthenogenesis is theoretically possible but exceedingly rare and requires certain rare genetic events to happen.

Parthenotes may have been born in the past but gone unnoticed.

…and…???

David,
Similar to Clone research which requires genetic replication without differentiation .

There must be an immediate and complete global moratorium on gain-of-function research, along with comprehensive investigations into the growing number of U.S. and international biolabs—including their funders—that may be conducting bioweapon research, to prevent another man-made pandemic
https://petermcculloughmd.substack.com/p/russian-mod-reveals-us-african-biolab

Tony.

The latest kerfuffle in American politics revolves around Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX), apparently worse than Dementia Joe, but has had a staff of 25 that has hidden her status.
Does Banana Republic ring a bell? 😩

Conservatives have been talking about this in the context of term limits. Pelosi is not saying she will step down.
My first post today so Merry Christmas to all.

In Once Great Britain the Government is trying to change the law to make the State, not parents, the primary guardians of children.
The purpose of this seems to be to stop the home schooling of children and to force them to go to state indoctrination centres instead.
The History Debunked YouTube channel discusses.

What’s happening with the idol of Dictator Dan of Victoriastan (Australia) that the Government was going to build? There doesn’t seem to be any news.

“All these things have been investigated and discredited.”
So said the Lamestream Media when interviewing Donald TRUMP.
All TRUMP’s statements turned out to be true, including the Biden Jr. laptop.
Posted by Tony Heller two weeks ago but with older material.

More “far right conspiracy theories” that turned out to be true”. If only the Lamestream Media bothered to do its job.
