Finally, do you know that Vladimir Putin himself is capitalizing on this woke madness? Anna Mahjar-Barducci at MEMRI.org covered his recent speech. I quote from the article’s translation: “The advocates of so-called ‘social progress’ believe they are introducing humanity to some kind of a new and better consciousness. Godspeed, hoist the flags, as we say, go right ahead. The only thing that I want to say now is that their prescriptions are not new at all. It may come as a surprise to some people, but Russia has been there already. After the 1917 revolution, the Bolsheviks, relying on the dogmas of Marx and Engels, also said that they would change existing ways and customs, and not just political and economic ones, but the very notion of human morality and the foundations of a healthy society. The destruction of age-old values, religion, and relations between people, up to and including the total rejection of family (we had that, too), encouragement to inform on loved ones — all this was proclaimed progress and, by the way, was widely supported around the world back then and was quite fashionable, same as today. By the way, the Bolsheviks were absolutely intolerant of opinions other than theirs.

“This, I believe, should call to mind some of what we are witnessing now. Looking at what is happening in a number of Western countries, we are amazed to see the domestic practices — which we, fortunately, have left, I hope — in the distant past. The fight for equality and against discrimination has turned into aggressive dogmatism bordering on absurdity, when the works of the great authors of the past — such as Shakespeare — are no longer taught at schools or universities, because their ideas are believed to be backward. The classics are declared backward and ignorant of the importance of gender or race. In Hollywood, memos are distributed about proper storytelling and how many characters of what color or gender should be in a movie. This is even worse than the agitprop department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.”

This, from the head of the former totalitarian enterprise, against whom we fought a five decades’ long Cold War, risking the entire planet (in a very real manner). This, from the head of a country riven in a literally genocidal manner by ideas that Putin himself attributes to the progressives in the West, to the generally accepting audience of his once-burned (once (!)) twice-shy listeners.

Vladimir has become the most sensible leader of any major country by a country mile. However I don’t think it’s because he has changed but rather that the others have.

In talking to people it’s frustrating that many simply believe that Biden won the presidency by making mail in voting more accessible to minorities. This is a convenient way to cover up the vote manufacturing and other fraad which went on. Mail in voting wasn’t the 1/2 of it, as has been exposed on this blog. This simplified false narrative also serves other purposes.

It legitimizes the election as a correction of an injustice to minorities.
It makes the push by the Dems to nationalize all elections as a just cause, despite its unconstitutionality.
It leaves the other methods of the steal unexposed in the mainstream and therefore remaining in place to be used again in the future.
It allows legs for continued using the Jan 6th false flag operation on into the future.

I still have not been able to get hold of a copy of Molly Hemingway’s book Rigged. You can special order it, usually at an increased cost, but retailers don’t actually stock it. That is also a form of censorship.

I have a friend in Tennessee who arrived to vote and was told she had already voted! No one investigated how it happened. The ghost of Hugo Chavez hovers over the Democrat party and is being kept at bay by two Democrat Senators. The rest of them have no conscience whatsoever. I’m making an assumption they aren’t completely illiterate.

On another note, the Vic Dept of Health has been trying to contact me. The phone callers are sending an SMS alerting me to an upcoming call – “please be prepared to receive a call shortly from the Department of Health shortly on +61 3 8624 4051 regarding your COVID-19 vaccination.” Is a list being compiled checking who’s naughty and who’s nice? It’s very possible with this Andrews Government I’m afraid. Or it’s a scammer. Either way it’s blocked.

Vic Dept of Health is calling people more than 4-5 months after their 2nd jab to encourage them to book in for the “booster” that can now be done after 3 months. When is a vaccine not a vaccine if that 2nd dose is only effective for about 10 weeks?

This relates to the UK but I think needs parsing and confirmation from other sources

    —- ——

Only 17371 people died from Covid with no other comorbidities between March 2020 and September 2021 at a cost of £400billion. Of course it is the worst disaster.

    See this link – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UHvwWWcjYw

    —- —-

There is no doubt the overwhelming number of deaths over here have been the elderly and or those with several comorbidities. If this 20,000 or so is confirmed that will raise all sorts of questions. Right from the start the vulnerable should have been protected leaving everyone else to go about their business taking sensible precautions. One of the few sensible things that Ferguson wrote was that very many of those who died with Covid would have died anyway within several weeks/months by other causes. Average age of deaths at one time was 85 with an average of 2 comorbidities. Unfortunately the old and the ill die, in winter over here it is often flu that is a big cause

Right at the start of this I looked up information on the New York nursing home “disaster”.

As might be accepted in a rich nation many old people find their lives extended through nursing homes.

Data for New York showed enormous numbers in care, their average age and the length of stay. Just from memory, I think that the average stay was well under two years.

Just sprinkle a little Covid19 dust around and there you have it; all big pharma’s dreams come true.

As to governments protecting us oldies from CV19, I feel fine facing the world’s latest drama without their controlling interference in my life.

The pandemic couldn’t have happened here in the UK before around the year 2000 as there were far fewer numbers of the elderly with comorbidities. Looking at the figures and taking into account rising population numbers and age profile, every year prior to 2012 had more ‘excess’ deaths than 2020 or 2021

Interesting tonyb. Have just typed in “annual deaths Australia”. Average deaths 2015 – 2019 = 161,252. Deaths in
2020 = 161,300. Understandably, complete figures for 2021 not yet available, but deaths registered so far to the end of October would seem to indicate little or no variation.

Just sprinkle a little Covid19 dust around and there you have it

It was far more systematic than that. Cuomo sent Covid infected patients from nursing homes back to reduce hospital loading (while not utilising to hospital ship sent by Trump and emergency tent hospitals to any meaningful degree). This ensured that Covid was thoroughly spread across those centres.

Cuomo on March 25 issued the controversial directive that told nursing homes they couldn’t deny patients coming from hospitals admission based on a Covid-19 diagnosis.
        ..

Cuomo’s team also proceeded despite early compelling evidence that nursing home residents were especially vulnerable to Covid-19. The first known cluster of Covid-19 cases in the United States happened in a Washington nursing home. Media reports featuring public health experts warning of nursing home residents’ vulnerability emerged in early March, well before Cuomo’s directive.

I think we are ignoring and important discovery in virology.
I just heard that ‘hospitalizations’ in my US Blue state are suddenly plummeting.
Of course, they hardly ever mentioned hospitalizations for the last two years, instead informing us of the frightening number new ‘cases’, but never mind.
The discovery … viruses are Democrats.
Viruses are greatly concerned about Joe Biden’s poll numbers and beginning the act to help prevent the Red Wave disaster in our midterm elections.
Of course in England viruses are Conservative.
    So hang in there Oz.
Stop focusing on IVM and vitamin D.
Work on getting Dan’s poll numbers down.
    It’s working for us.

Gerry, I take it a lot of female VIC voters have a serious attachment to, and a fear of letting go of, their ‘Steely Dan’ – an object of personal pleasure from the pages of William S. Burroughs’ Naked Lunch. The wonders of steam-powered technology never fail to entertain and – ahem – seduce [look it up if you don’t know its origins].

Annie, even while this is an Unthreaded Post, this is a little off the mentioned topic here I know, but just forget the origin of the name Steely Dan, it’s recent connotation to the Victorian Premier, and hark back to a piece of music by the famed band of the same name, an iconic American band who hardly even registered here in Australia.

The tune is titled ‘East St. Louis Toodle-oo’, and it was originally written more than 90 years ago now by Duke Ellington and Bubber Miley.

Steely Dan did the song on their third album Pretzel Logic, and the band’s guitarist, the now late Walter Becker wanted to remain as close to the original ‘sound’ as he could, and he imitated the Bubber Miley solo trumpet section with a guitar played through a Talk Box, and it’s difficult to explain what that is, until you actually hear the effect itself, a tube leading from a floor mounted pedal up the mike stand and the guitarist places his mouth over the end of the tube and ‘mouths’ the notes being played by his guitar to give that effect, then played through that microphone back to the amp.

This is an absolutely wonderful piece of music, and just nothing like you would expect from a (supposed) rock band of the time.

The music clip is at this link, and it’s one of my own Music Posts at my home site, and just press play on the clip if you just want the music, but I included some of the detail of the song in the text.

Sometimes, even bands have their little ‘private jokes’, but forgetting that, sometimes the music is all that really matters.

            Enjoy!

            Tony.

Tony, thanks for that link; have enjoyed ‘The Dan’ since I bought my very first LP in the 1970s, Royal Scam, followed by Crime Of The Century by Supertramp. Looking at those two album titles years later, even as a teenager still at school my sceptical / cynical outlook on life seemed already solidified, ie. Scam/Crime.

Not only were Fagan/Becker’s lyrics witty, cutting, cynical, their musical talent and skill (along with fellow band members) were astounding, ie. professional, plus they played with so many genres and styles, compared to the fashion / status quo of the time.

NB. Pretzel Logic was the 3rd album I purchased: Toodle-oo!

“You need explosives and the “jaws of life” to pry many here in Victoria away from their Dan.”

And here is their theme song:

        The Dan Chant

Lock me down, lock me down,
        Lock me down again Dan,
Lock me down again Dan, do.

        It feels so comfy cosy
        In a culture turning rosey
To be told by Dear Leader what to do.

There’s no need for thought or worry
And you never need to hurry
When Big Daddy’s taking care of you.

Wear your face mask when you’re walking
        And especially when you’re talking
And wear it in the shower and the loo.

        All the businesses Dan shuttered
Now must get their bickies buttered
By the State and no one else, ya hoo!

Now we’ll all be better off
With fewer things to buy or scoff
Which is better for the planet, too.

        So:

Lock me down, lock me down,
        Lock me down again Dan,
Lock me down again Dan, do.

Seems that in the UK, there was a peak in deaths of elderly “unvaccinated” in the 2 weeks after the jabs were rolled out.

    https://notrickszone.com/2022/01/21/analysis-by-german-prof-thousands-of-hidden-deaths-daily-may-be-greatest-medical-debacle-in-human-history/

No wonder they don’t want to count people as vaccinated for 2-3 weeks after they receive the jabs. !

“In previous years, each of the 60-69, 70-79 and 80+ groups have mortality peaks at the same time during the year (including 2020 when all suffered the April Covid peak at the same time). Yet in 2021 each age group has non-Covid mortality peaks for the unvaccinated, at a different time, namely the time that vaccination rollout programmes for those cohorts reach a peak.””

So, it’s no wonder that your carpet-bombing of every individual with “vaccines,” lockdowns, masks etc has failed. As has oft been said, we have moved from “one size fits all, to one size fits none.” And as history has shown, carpet-bombing always has the same result – death, despair, destruction, desolation and, eventually, public dissent and outrage.

The other huge worry is that the medical profession is not allowed to question any of your decisions for fear of being deregistered by AHPRA. What happened to the scientific norm of open debate? Must be hidden somewhere behind the façade of your emergency powers. Nobel prize-winning quantum physicist Richard Feynman once said “I would rather have questions that can’t be answered, than answers that can’t be questioned.” And General George Patton is reputed to have said “If everyone is thinking alike, then someone is not thinking.” So why are the medical profession not allowed to openly debate the way the COVID problem has been handled and the efficacy of the “vaccines”? And believe me, there are a growing number who are questioning. There is a large percentage of my colleagues and the nursing profession in your health service who have told me they would not have received the “vaccine” if it wasn’t for the fear of losing their livelihood. This is a tragic betrayal of their trust and vulnerability. Shame on you.

      It’s a great letter.

Yet once again I get the feeling that the true cause of the ongoing Covid catastrophe is not being addressed.

      When the author says that

” … this protest will ultimately be voiced at the polling stations.”

It gives the impression that the whole mess comes down to the bumblings of foolish politicians and government administrators, and if only they could be replaced by a more conscientious gang then all would be well.

      No.

The politicians and administrators are the puppets of bigger, international players, and the next lot of politicians and administrators would soon be doing the exact same things.

This Covid circus is a worldwide phenomenon, not the product of local foolish public servants making mistakes.

Those who believe it is possible for us to vote our way out of this situation have not yet realised what the situation is.

Of course its not going to work, but any private company knows you just set it up to get the Govt money rolling in, and tell them the rest of the story later!

      Editorials
Covid-19 vaccines and treatments: we must have raw data, now

      BMJ 2022; 376 doi: https://doi.org/10.1136/bmj.o102 (Published 19 January 2022) Cite this as: BMJ 2022;376:o102

The Tamiflu saga heralded a decade of unprecedented attention to the importance of sharing clinical trial data.56 Public battles for drug company data,78 transparency campaigns with thousands of signatures,910 strengthened journal data sharing requirements,1112 explicit commitments from companies to share data,13 new data access website portals,8 and landmark transparency policies from medicines regulators1415 all promised a new era in data transparency.

Progress was made, but clearly not enough. The errors of the last pandemic are being repeated. Memories are short. Today, despite the global rollout of covid-19 vaccines and treatments, the anonymised participant level data underlying the trials for these new products remain inaccessible to doctors, researchers, and the public—and are likely to remain that way for years to come.16 This is morally indefensible for all trials, but especially for those involving major public health interventions.

      Unacceptable delay

Pfizer’s pivotal covid vaccine trial was funded by the company and designed, run, analysed, and authored by Pfizer employees. The company and the contract research organisations that carried out the trial hold all the data.17 And Pfizer has indicated that it will not begin entertaining requests for trial data until May 2025, 24 months after the primary study completion date, which is listed on ClinicalTrials.gov as 15 May 2023 (NCT04368728).

The lack of access to data is consistent across vaccine manufacturers.16 Moderna says data “may be available … with publication of the final study results in 2022.”18 Datasets will be available “upon request and subject to review once the trial is complete,” which has an estimated primary completion date of 27 October 2022 (NCT04470427).

As of 31 December 2021, AstraZeneca may be ready to entertain requests for data from several of its large phase III trials.19 But actually obtaining data could be slow going. As its website explains, “timelines vary per request and can take up to a year upon full submission of the request.”20

Underlying data for covid-19 therapeutics are similarly hard to find. Published reports of Regeneron’s phase III trial of its monoclonal antibody therapy REGEN-COV flatly state that participant level data will not be made available to others.21 Should the drug be approved (and not just emergency authorised), sharing “will be considered.” For remdesivir, the US National Institutes of Health, which funded the trial, created a new portal to share data (https://accessclinicaldata.niaid.nih.gov/), but the dataset on offer is limited. An accompanying document explains: “The longitudinal data set only contains a small subset of the protocol and statistical analysis plan objectives.”

We are left with publications but no access to the underlying data on reasonable request. This is worrying for trial participants, researchers, clinicians, journal editors, policy makers, and the public. The journals that have published these primary studies may argue that they faced an awkward dilemma, caught between making the summary findings available quickly and upholding the best ethical values that support timely access to underlying data. In our view, there is no dilemma; the anonymised individual participant data from clinical trials must be made available for independent scrutiny.

        Transparency and trust</strong>

As well as access to the underlying data, transparent decision making is essential. Regulators and public health bodies could release details27 such as why vaccine trials were not designed to test efficacy against infection and spread of SARS-CoV-2.28 Had regulators insisted on this outcome, countries would have learnt sooner about the effect of vaccines on transmission and been able to plan accordingly.29

Big pharma is the least trusted industry.30 At least three of the many companies making covid-19 vaccines have past criminal and civil settlements costing them billions of dollars.31 One pleaded guilty to fraud.31 Other companies have no pre-covid track record. Now the covid pandemic has minted many new pharma billionaires, and vaccine manufacturers have reported tens of billions in revenue.32

The BMJ supports vaccination policies based on sound evidence. As the global vaccine rollout continues, it cannot be justifiable or in the best interests of patients and the public that we are left to just trust “in the system,” with the distant hope that the underlying data may become available for independent scrutiny at some point in the future. The same applies to treatments for covid-19. Transparency is the key to building trust and an important route to answering people’s legitimate questions about the efficacy and safety of vaccines and treatments and the clinical and public health policies established for their use.

Twelve years ago we called for the immediate release of raw data from clinical trials.1 We reiterate that call now. Data must be available when trial results are announced, published, or used to justify regulatory decisions. There is no place for wholesale exemptions from good practice during a pandemic. The public has paid for covid-19 vaccines through vast public funding of research, and it is the public that takes on the balance of benefits and harms that accompany vaccination. The public, therefore, has a right and entitlement to those data, as well as to the interrogation of those data by experts.

Pharmaceutical companies are reaping vast profits without adequate independent scrutiny of their scientific claims.33 The purpose of regulators is not to dance to the tune of rich global corporations and enrich them further; it is to protect the health of their populations. We need complete data transparency for all studies, we need it in the public interest, and we need it now.

This WA town just topped 50℃ – a dangerous temperature many Australians will have to get used to.

Remarkably, the town sits right next to the ocean, which usually provides cooling. By contrast, the infamously hot WA town of Marble Bar has only reached 49.6℃ this summer, despite its inland location.

Onslow has a mean of 35.7 °C in January. Obviously, not much cooling from a sea breeze that might only blow in the late afternoon. It’s 7 m above sea level. The Pilbara is over 700m. Any hot wind from there blowing towards Onslow will warm up 7 degrees as it drops.

My double-vaxed teenage grand-daughter contracted covid at a recent Gold Coast sporting event. So did a number of her team-mates. My daughter-in-law was chaperoning some of the group and ended up driving back with two of the infected – two days in a van followed by a week caring for the two in home isolation – she did not contract the affliction as confirmed by routine RAT tests and no symptoms. The only difference between the three is that my daughter-in-law has been a long term user of HCQ for an arthritic problem. Does anyone else out there have a similar story?

After I read this I ph’d my young mate Rob to see how his family is doing. His 9yr-old was tested positive at the end of last school year, they had to isolate for 2weeks but no-one got sick. Either asymptomatic or false +ve PCR.

Recently the baby got sick with a temperature so they went to hospital with him. He tested positive, and last week Rob tested +ve too. He’s still feeling crook, baby is improving, 9yr-old fine and so is his wife.

I read him your post and he suddenly remembered his wife takes HCQ for one of her problems, so we are waiting to see if she ever gets sick. They are both dble-vaxed for work.

Covid Declaration now backed by 17,000+ registered doctors.

    1. Healthy children should not be subject to forced vaccination: they face negligible risk from covid, but face potential permanent, irreversible risk to their health if vaccinated, including heart, brain, reproductive and immune system damage.

    2. Natural Immunity Denial has prolonged the pandemic and needlessly restricted the lives of Covid-recovered people. Masks, lockdowns, and other restrictions have caused great harm especially to children and delayed the virus’ transition to endemic status.

    3. Health agencies and institutions must cease interfering with the physician-patient relationship. Policymakers are directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, as a result of institutional interference and blocking treatments proven to cure at a near 100% rate when administered early.

Chief health officer reveals complex truth behind NSW Covid hospitalisation numbers

NSW’s top doctor says it’s difficult to know how many Covid-positive people in NSW hospitals are actually there because of virus complications.

Not all of the more than 2800 Covid-19 patients currently in NSW hospitals were admitted because of their infections.

The latest hospitalisation figures from Thursday evening show there were 2534 Covid-19 patients in NSW hospital beds.

That’s in addition to 5468 hospitalised patients who don’t have Covid-19.

There were an additional 209 Covid-19 positive patients in intensive care units, where 290 people without Covid-19 were also being treated.

In general, Covid-19 patients who end up in hospitals tend to be either older or living with underlying health conditions.

Dr Chant cautioned that even if the disease wasn’t the reason a patient was sent to hospital, being infected risks making recovery more difficult.

Just doing my daily scan of their ABC’s virus page.

This one jumped off the page. Apparently Victoria is having a booster blitz this weekend to inject 5 to 11 year olds before the start of the school year on Jan 31.

Now I might be a bit skeptical but I thought there was a 14 day period before the injections provided protection. That would take is to Feb 5.

And there is three weeks between injections with another 14 day period after that. That would take us to 26 Feb or just under 4 weeks into the school term.

Of course there is nothing but stenography from their ABC. Oh for a functioning media!

Cannabinoids Block Cellular Entry of SARS-CoV-2 and the Emerging Variants
    https://pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.1021/acs.jnatprod.1c00946

    From the abstract:

. . . Cannabinoid acids from hemp (Cannabis sativa) were found to be allosteric as well as orthosteric ligands with micromolar affinity for the spike protein. In follow-up virus neutralization assays, cannabigerolic acid and cannabidiolic acid prevented infection of human epithelial cells by a pseudovirus expressing the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and prevented entry of live SARS-CoV-2 into cells. Importantly, cannabigerolic acid and cannabidiolic acid were equally effective against the SARS-CoV-2 alpha variant B.1.1.7 and the beta variant B.1.351. Orally bioavailable and with a long history of safe human use, these cannabinoids, isolated or in hemp extracts, have the potential to prevent as well as treat infection by SARS-CoV-2.

Elon Musk nears human testing of brain chip.

The billionaire’s neurotechnology firm is hiring clinical trial staffers as it awaits regulatory approval.

    https://www.rt.com/news/546701-neuralink-brain-chip-humans/

Musk and his Neuralink partners founded the company in 2016 to develop brain chips that connect humans with computers. He has claimed that the implants will enable paralyzed people to control such devices as smartphones with their brains.

Neuralink has already tested its chips in the brains of a macaque monkey and a pig. The company raised eyebrows last April, when it posted footage purporting to show a monkey playing a video game with its mind.

The first human test subjects will be people with severe spinal injuries, such as quadriplegics, Musk said last month at the Wall Street Journal CEO Council summit. “We have a chance with Neuralink to restore full-body functionality to someone who has a spinal cord injury,” he said.

So, what goes in one direction can’t be used in reverse on us by our masters? Schwab will be ecstatic.

Russia’s New ‘Conservative’ Ideology To Counter Liberalism

      January 11, 2022

According to Karaganov, the West, after dominating the economy, politics, ideology, and culture for five hundred years, finds itself in ideological decline. “All powers, if they want to be great, must have a set of ideas leading forward. When these ideas were lost, great powers ceased to be great or simply disintegrated. This happened to Rome. This happened in the 17th century to Spain. This happened to the Soviet Union when we lost the communist idea that led us. It was false, but it was there. This happened to the great European powers, which got tired and abandoned their ideas in favor of a pan-European one that pushed them forward for some time. But it has run [out] of steam now, too. And they have started to crumble,” Karaganov opines.[4]

Furthermore, according to Putin, liberalism has failed and the new progressive liberal ideas pushed forward by the West show only a loss of values and identity. Hence, to counter the liberal elite in the West, Putin suggests for Russia to become the beacon of conservatism and traditionalism. “The conservative views we hold are an optimistic conservatism,” Putin affirmed at the Valdai Forum.

Putin further states that values are a “a unique product of cultural and historical development of any nation.” For this reason, the West should not promote in other countries values and ideas that stand in contrast with the local culture and tradition. “The social and cultural shocks that are taking place in the United States and Western Europe are none of our business; we are keeping out of this,” Putin said.

Weekend funny to counteract the fatigue.

The ecclesial solution to squirrel infestations.

The Presbyterian church called a meeting to decide what to do about their squirrel infestation. After much prayer and consideration, they concluded that the squirrels were predestined to be there, and they should not interfere with God’s divine will.

At the Baptist church, the squirrels had taken an interest in the baptistry. The deacons met and decided to put a water-slide on the baptistry and let the squirrels drown themselves. The squirrels liked the slide and, unfortunately, knew instinctively how to swim, so twice as many squirrels showed up the following week.

The Lutheran church decided that they were not in a position to harm any of God’s creatures. So, they humanely trapped their squirrels and set them free near the Baptist church. Two weeks later, the squirrels were back when the Baptists took down the water-slide.

The Episcopalians tried a much more unique path by setting out pans of whiskey around their church in an effort to kill the squirrels with alcohol poisoning. They sadly learned how much damage a band of drunk squirrels can do.

But the Catholic church came up with a more creative strategy! They baptized all the squirrels and made them members of the church. Now they only see them at Christmas and Easter.

Not much was heard from the Jewish synagogue. They took the first squirrel and circumcised him. They haven’t seen a squirrel since.

So…can someone explain to me how vaxxes touted from day 1 as safe and effective are now 4% effective after 2 doses and magically jump to 64% with a booster against Omicron, which is virtually harmless anyway, and 64% isn’t exactly effective, and the vaxxes are not designed for Omicron, and their effectiveness only lasts a few months anyway, and each shot causes and compounds irreparable immune system damage, and people are panicking and queuing up for fraudulent unreliable tests, and…oh I give up…

The speaker did not say the vaccines were 4% effective relative to unvaccinated but made a claim that they only provided 4% (absolute) protection against infection. Similarly for the boosters claimed 64% protection against Omicron infection.
I suppose you could infer that the booster has 94% effectiveness relative to those poor doomed vaccinated but unboosted.
If his statement was correct, then the vaccinated must have sacrificed their estimated 85%+ innate protection against SARS-CoV-2 (all variants).
Of course, it wasn’t correct. It was just spin.

Here’s a question that came to mind today.

China (CCP) have a zero-covid policy and engage in heavy and economically expensive lockdowns at the drop of a COVID hat.

Given they are a totalitarian society, and supposedly not beholden to Pfizer et al, why don’t they deploy ivermectin and all the other ‘excluded by the West,’ prophylactic and treatment protocols to minimize the (human haha…) economic costs of their response to covid?

For me, the CCP politburo are always focused on their own best interests, and given a long commitment to economic growth and social stability (maintenance (if not growth) of their own position, wealth and power) I don’t understand why they would not deploy the available and effective antivirals?

    Any ideas?

Additionally, Putin realizes that the time has never been better to test the United States because of a totally incompetent president and the VP has zero international experience. Russia on Thursday raised the stakes dramatically due to the belligerent attitude of the West over Ukraine and refusing to listen to the demands of Russia., A top Russian diplomat has outright warned that Russia will not rule out a Russian military deployment to Cuba and Venezuela if tensions with the United States continue to escalate.

THE WEEK IN PICTURES: BYE-BYE BIDEN EDITION

This was the week it became abundantly clear that Joe Biden is not up to the job, and someone should start—if they haven’t already—the over-under betting line on whether he makes it to his 80th birthday late this year still in office. I imagine that web searches for “25th Amendment” are running hot right now. Somehow it fits: Googling after the gurgling goombah who managed to sneak into the White House. Meanwhile, the Branch Covidians still in charge at the CDC continue to burn down their credibility.

It’s an appalling way that the Democrats have treated Biden. They’ve used and abused him. Not cared about him at all. They are panicking and working out ways to throw him on the rubbish heap. They somehow imagined he was a “Mr Smith Goes to Washington” character but we all know that movie world and real world are often very different places.

Biden is more “Chauncey Gardener” than “Mr. Smith”.

But he was ALWAYS a hard-core statist type of Demoncrat.

The entire exercise was, and remains, a power demonstration to leave the peasants with absolutely NO illusions about their own “place” in the scheme of things.

Yeah but no but yeah but no but … the powers that be knew what they were getting when they installed Biden and stole the election.

He most definitely did not sneak into the White House. He was deliberately planted there (or at least in a newly constructed TV studio a few doors away).

It’s all very interesting for outsiders to speculate about how and when but I do not believe that the powers that be would go to all that trouble and not have at least a rough plan of what to do when the balloon went up. But hey, maybe it was a rush job.

So, our government is doing everything in it’s power to protect us from covid19 based on the best “medical advice”.

In most states and territories in Australia, the “medical advisors” are unanimous with their covid “advice”.

I’d like people here to consider this very simple scenario:-

    – A vaxxed person INFECTED with covid can enter most establishments provided they can show evidence of covid vaxxed status.
    – An unvaxxed person NOT infected with covid cannot enter many establishments because they cannot produce covid vaxxed status.

Now is it just me, or are our government and these “medical advisors” complete morons?

World Health Organization updates recommendations to say travel bans don’t work for preventing the spread of Omicron. They are only saying it now because it’s too obvious to keep covering up their lies.

6 MODIFIED: Lift or ease international traffic bans as they do not provide added value and continue to contribute to the economic and social stress experienced by States Parties. The failure of travel restrictions introduced after the detection and reporting of Omicron variant to limit international spread of Omicron demonstrates the ineffectiveness of such measures over time. Travel measures (e.g. masking, testing, isolation/quarantine, and vaccination) should be based on risk assessments and avoid placing the financial burden on international travellers in accordance with Article 40 of the IHR.

The French are STILL unreliable business partners. They will never outgrow their “arrogant” reputation.

Airbus has terminated a contract with Qatar Airways for an order of 50 A321 aircraft, as the French plane maker and one of its top airline customers lock horns in a dispute over grounded A350 wide-body jets that has reached the courts.

“We confirm we did terminate the contract for 50 A321s with Qatar Airways in accordance with our rights,” an Airbus spokesman said.

Qatar Airways published a video in which it said “clearly shows these defects are not superficial and one of the defects causes the aircraft’s lightning protection system to be exposed and damaged, another defect leaves the underlying composite structure exposed to moisture and ultraviolet light, and other defects include cracking in the composite and damage around a high percentage of rivets on the aircraft fuselage”.

    Oh dear!

“Moderna stocks plunged on Friday during the market selloff this week. The company has lost $130 billion in value this year over the lackluster COVID vaccine results with the new Omicron variant. The stock is down 67% from its all-rime high last year.”

    Help!

A bit of doggerel – can anyone think of improvements?

I am the very model of a modern politician,

I’ve no talents but lots of ambition,
I know nothing of electricity or anything practical,
and my ideas are hysterical and not at all methodical.

I am the very model of a modern politician,
I’ve no knowledge but plenty of ambition.
I don’t know the workings of the climate nor changes historical,
but my belief in renewables is quite categorical.

I am the very model of a modern politician,
though I’m talking nonsense I brook no opposition.
And when it comes to expenses — Hey Diddle
you’ll find how well I can fiddle

I am the very model of a modern politician,
I want nothing more than the highest position.
First in line for all the perks.
And anyone who objects will be called a jerk.

I am the very model of a modern politician,
when a girl charges me with molestation
I claim I had prior permission,
and the case is a media distortion.

I am the very model of a modern politician,
a faithful servant of the coalition.
I would never vote with the opposition,
unless they offered me a better position.

I am the very model of a modern politician,
I don’t know how long I can keep up the repetition,
Long enough to get elected, then it’s all about me and
you voters can then go to perdition.

I see Aussies life exp is increasing faster than before the pandemic.
Seems that we have one of the greatest annual increases compared to the years 2015 to 2019.
Of course I’ve linked to this before from the ABS data, so no real surprise.
Yet the ALP’s Chalmers idiot never seems to learn and has a new whinge every day for their compliant MSM and the Coalition and Scomo are always to blame. And according to the polls it seems to be working and we’ll likely have the clueless Albo donkey as PM later in 2022.
